Nach einer herzlichen Begrüßung und an einem schattigen Sitzplatz auf der Terrasse haben wir super leckeres Essen mit einem gekühlten Getränk genießen können. Vielen Dank dafür, wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!

Der Hammer 😍😍😍 Ich habe das erste mal bei euch bestellt. Panierte bab calamari Ich habe noch nie so gute gegessen. Das gemüse dazu der ober Hammer das hat einfach 5 Sterne verdient

Super Essen, toller Chef. Haben uns auch etwas liefern lassen, war ebenfalls sehr lecker.

Übersetzung: Restaurant-Rezension ​Titel: Absolut nicht empfehlenswert – Große Enttäuschung ​"Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen. Wir haben zwei Gerichte bestellt: Gyros in Metaxa-Sauce und Lammkoteletts. ​Das Gyros: Das Fleisch schien eine seltsame Mischung zu sein. Ein Teil der Fleischstücke schmeckte eindeutig verdorben – selbst die Sauce konnte diesen Geschmack nicht überdecken. Nur ein anderer Teil wirkte halbwegs normal. ​Die Lammkoteletts: Für 22 Euro erhielten wir fünf winzige Koteletts, die extrem fettig und gleichzeitig völlig ausgetrocknet waren. Sie hatten einen sehr unangenehmen Beigeschmack, als wäre das Haltbarkeitsdatum bereits seit Tagen überschritten. Dieses Fleisch hätte im Müll landen müssen und nicht auf dem Teller eines Gastes. ​Beilagen & Getränke: Das Fassbier war ungenießbar. Die Portion Pommes war ein Witz – wir haben abgezählt etwa 12 Stück pro Person bekommen. Der Salat war völlig trocken (vielleicht gut für Kaninchen, aber nicht für Gäste) und das Brot stammte offensichtlich vom Discounter (Lidl), was man in einem griechischen Restaurant wahrlich nicht erwartet. ​ Es war eine riesige Enttäuschung. Bitte meiden Sie dieses Lokal, damit Ihnen nicht dasselbe passiert wie mir!"

Wir hatten über Lieferando das erste Mal bestellt! Für 2 Gerichte und eine Vorspeise haben wir 51€ gezahlt, Sieht lecker aus aber es täuscht leider sehr, erstes Stück souflaki angeschnitten und ein alufolien Stück im Fleisch „kann passieren.. auch wenn es ehr weniger sollte“ mein Giros war zu 80% nur fett streifen, der Standard Reis und tzaziki haben das Ruder jetzt auch nicht mehr rum gerissen, die kalamaris für 14€ waren echt sehr sehr schlecht. Das souvlaki war nicht nur trocken sondern auch nicht wirklich durch. Vielleicht schmeckt das Essen Vorort besser🤷‍♂️ empfehlen oder nochmal ausprobieren würde ich auf jedenfall nicht!

Habe bestellt und mir das Essen abgeholt. Es war leider mit Abstand das schlechteste Gyros was ich jemals hatte. Viel zu groß und zu dick geschnitten, ganz glibberiges fettiges Fleisch. Die Pommes waren mehr als labberig und völlig geschmacklos. Scheinbar nicht gewürzt? Schade, das leckerste waren die Zwiebeln und der Tzaziki. War meine 2. Bedtellung, bei der ersten war es nicht so schlimm, das muss man auch dazu sagen.

Wer in Hamburg ein Griechisches Restaurant besuchen will der ist bei Papa's genau richtig. Das Ambiente, Essen und Service sind ausgezeichnet ich war begeistert!!!

Wer leckere griechische Küche mag, ist hier richtig. Karte ist nicht überdimensioniert, jedoch gut sortiert. Dazu gibt es meistens eine Tafel mit weiteren leckeren Dingen. Getränke gut gekühlt, Inhaber, der den Service macht und sehr freundlich ist. Alles sehr sauber. Große Außenterrasse, mit vielen sonnigen Plätzen. Parkplätze auch reichlich vorhanden. Gerne komme ich wieder vorbei.

Wir sind ganz spontan vorbei gekommen und haben einen tollen Platz, super Service und mega leckeres Essen bekommen. Gerne wieder 😃

Habe gestern meinen 60'zigsten Geburtstag mit 31 Personen bei Papa's gefeiert. Es hat alles super geklappt, es hat allen sehr gut gefallen!!! Vielen lieben Dank dafür!!!

Sehr lecker an unserem letzen Urlaubstag dort gegessen. Toller Gastgeber und sehr freundlich.

Der freundlichste Grieche in Schnelsen und Umgebung. Für Fleisch-Liebhaber empfehle ich Gyros mit Leber und Pommes oder eins der Tagesangebote. Top Gastgeber, das Ambiente rustikal. Im Sommer auf der Terrasse einfach spitze.

Der Service vom Inhaber war freundlich und rustikal. Das Essen war gut und reichlich. Gute Parkmöglichkeit. Einziges Manko, Kartenzahlung im Winter? nicht möglich!

Es fehlte Personal was zu längeren Wartezeiten führte. Das Souvlaki war teilweise sehr trocken, fettig und knorpelig nicht sehr lecker. Keine Kartenzahlung möglich!

Habe über lieferndo bestellt hat etwas gedauert und das essen war sorry einfach schlecht auch der Salat ein reinfall

Wer griechische Küche zu einen Fairen Preis genießen möchte, sollte unbedingt Georgio besuchen. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und Getränke ist für jeden auch etwas da. Noch ein Vorteil ist, man muss keinen Parkplatz suchen.

Wir hatten online über Lieferando bestellt und Gyros überbacken bestellt. Online stand leider nichts von einer Sauce, wie Metaxasauce, sondern nur, dass es überbacken ist. Als das Essen ankam, war mein überbackenes Gyros mit Metaxasauce. Da ich schwanger bin, fiel das Essen für mich aufgrund der Sauce leider weg. Daraufhin haben wir im Restaurant angerufen und es kam nur die Antwort, dass es ja eh nur wenig Alkohol sei.. es wurde uns nicht mal ansatzweise entgegenkommen. Nur leider ist dieser „wenige Alkohol“ nicht nur für Schwangere, sondern auch bspw für trockene Alkoholiker schädlich. Schade.

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung. Sehr freundliches Personal. Chef ist eine Marke so wie es in einem griechischen Restaurant sei soll. Einfach klasse.

Rinderleber mit geschmorten Zwiebeln, empfohlen vom Chef! Absolutes Gedicht!! Gegenüber den ersten Jahren hat die Qualität stark zugelegt - jetzt meiner Meinung nach einer der besten Griechen - wenn nicht DER beste Grieche - in der Gegend! Top Qualität, gute Portionsgröße, akzeptable Preise. Jede Menge Parkplätze durch die Lage am Sportplatz, freundliche und sehr prompte Bedienung. Wir sind ab sofort Stammgäste!!

Leider muss ich einen Stern geben ! Also das mit Abstand schlechteste essen ( Grieche ) was wir je hatten. Keine Ahnung,wie der so gute Bewertungen bekommt. Essen war kalt, geschmacklich total schlecht,Fleisch absolut trocken. Haben mit drei Leuten bestellt, bei allen das gleiche . Nie wieder !

Ein toller Grieche. Das Restaurant ist ein bisschen schwer zu finden, aber es lohnt sich. Habe Essen abgeholt, der Service war sehr gut. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Würde auch im Restaurant essen gehen.

Super Essen. Hatten Souvlaki vom Schwein mit Gyros und tzaziki. Natürlich Basic und klassisch. Aber es war hervorragend gut. Super verpackt. Sie wissen wie man liefern muss. Zu dem hat es überdurchschnittlich lecker geschmeckt. Man merkt dass das Essen mit Leidenschaft gemacht wird. Wir kommen auf jeden mal vorbei ! Schmeckt frisch und selbstgemacht.

Papa AKA Georgios is still the best Greek restaurant in town! The homemade fries are simply amazing. Thanks to the kitchen. And the outdoor terrace is great too. Since it was going to take a while, we had a delicious salad beforehand.

Here, you really get your money's worth. The price-performance ratio is very good. The food is very tasty. I find it plentiful and natural. The taste is very good. I highly recommend it. The staff and the short chats along the way are very pleasant. Very customer-oriented and very friendly. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We were greeted so warmly, as if we'd known each other for a while. It's a shame we were just passing through. But the next time we're stuck in a traffic jam at the Elbe Tunnel, we'll stop there again. The food was super delicious. Exactly what you'd expect from Greek food. We haven't had such good Greek food in a long time. The kids were also warmly welcomed and received their own "salad plate" with just cucumber. That was super nice, shortened the wait for all of us, and satisfied our initial hunger. The price was more than fair, too. Since it's a sports restaurant, we were able to park easily with our trailer. The ambiance, however, is nicer than the typical sports restaurant we're used to.

Highly recommended restaurant in the sports club! Four of us were there and were completely satisfied. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff very friendly, and the service fast and attentive. The fresh salad with delicious dressing as a starter was a great start. The main courses were plentiful and delicious – the crispy fries were especially impressive! The value for money is also absolutely spot on: for four people, we paid only about €90, including drinks. The location is ideal – quick and easy to reach from the KNAUS campsite. A real insider tip – we'd love to come back!

We ordered the Papa's mix grill. Was super delicious! And make sure you are very hungry! What you can't eat, you can take with you. Recommended!

Unfortunately, it was rather disappointing. The service didn't understand us and brought the wrong drinks. The manager acted artificially upset. Thus, the visit left a rather bitter aftertaste.

After having been there several times and always being satisfied, we raised issues with the food and the service the last two times. Not to complain, but simply to suggest ways to improve the service or the food. Unfortunately, the problem is that the restaurant owner doesn't really listen and constantly interrupts with baseless justifications and then doesn't stop. When we pointed this out to him, after paying, he told us we could leave and eat somewhere else in the future. We will do just that.

What a nice host, we hadn't even sat down yet and we already received ouzo, and so did the kids (kids-proof). Food was fine, came quickly, we had a nice meal! See you next year!

We camped at the KNAUS campsite for a city tour and had dinner here on the first evening. Beforehand, a walk along the rain retention basin and through a long park. Good food and friendly service. When we came back we discovered the menu on the notice board at the campsite. Google had already helped us before 😂. Were here with the family. Two adults and two teens. Price performance definitely fits 🍻👍

One of the best Greeks in Hamburg! Food can be ordered according to individual wishes. Guests are lovingly looked after.

We had ordered and confirmed a table with a high chair and when we arrived it was already in use and the restaurant has exactly one. The waitress seemed very annoyed and despite the few guests, they didn't even ask if everything was okay. The food was OK. The bread at the beginning was soggy and more like a packaged bread that you forgot to bake. All in all we were not satisfied and will not come back.

Nice Greek taverna style restaurant. Numerous Greek dishes in interesting variations. Large portions, leftover food can be packed and given away free of charge upon request (I have often experienced packaging fees being charged). Friendly staff and very nice boss, absolutely recommended from my side.

We ate there for the first time yesterday, on the recommendation of a work colleague, and we were really impressed. Very friendly owner and staff, always trying to make sure we didn't lack anything. The quality of the meat is top notch and all of the starters and side dishes for the main course were delicious and attractively presented. We can definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back.

We ordered there for the second time today because the food is really great. The quantities are great, the salad is fresh, the tzatziki is homemade, the meat is tender and well seasoned. We really enjoyed the meal. Recommendation!

NEVER AGAIN! We ordered the food via Lieferando. The driver couldn't find our house and called once, which unfortunately we didn't notice. When we called after 1.5 hours to ask where our food was, we were insulted very disrespectfully and almost aggressively, saying that the food was in the trash, called 10 times and no one answered. We were totally outraged by the unfriendly manner on the phone. The call list clearly shows that there were not 10 calls. And the fact that the money we had already paid was thrown into the trash can is an absolute disgrace. We tried to find a solution with the owner, but while we were still speaking they simply hung up on us. We then called back a few times, but were no longer answered. So the restaurant took money, threw our food in the trash and then ignored us. For me this is clearly fraud! One star is too many, but unfortunately you can't give less.

Super Gastwirt hält uns mit Getränken bei Laune essen. Super frisch zubereitet würde gerne fünf Sterne vergeben. Absolut empfehlenswert kommen gerne wieder Preisvorstellung angemessen. Vielen Dank für den netten Abend

An insider tip👌! The 'restaurant' is a clubhouse restaurant, very hidden and rather inconspicuous. The menu is therefore not very large, but the food (totally moderate prices) is exceptionally good and absolutely delicious! In the summer you should be able to sit here really comfortably, which I will definitely do next year. The boss is a "veteran" of a real Greek, funny and talkative. The young man who served us was very attentive and super friendly. It's definitely worth a visit, I'll definitely come back and recommend it!

Ordered food to pick up. There definitely used to be an ouzo. Too bad. There was always a spicy pepperoni and one or two pieces of sheep's cheese in the salad. Too bad. The gyros was very mixed, but plentiful. You got full. But delicious is different. Mom has to speak up...

Restaurateur who is really nice and honest. The food was excellent and I will definitely come here again. Our order was accidentally mixed up and we still got the original Togo dish to take home. It's really great that nothing was thrown away here. The location outside at the sports field is very nice, you sit through some bushes and there is a great atmosphere.

This was our first time here and we will definitely come back. To our surprise, we saw someone there again who we knew very well from the restaurant on Wendlohstrasse and who now works here. That was a beautiful moment. The food was delicious, although this time I had it with metaxa sauce. Otherwise I eat classic gyros. Keep it up.

Went to Papa's today while passing through after vacation and it was really delicious! We had gyros with Metaxa sauce and feta in a sesame coating as a starter - both great! Our dog was also welcome. Next time we're here we'll come back

I had gyrosas flauf with tetaxas sauce and fries. The fries weren't cut 7x7mm, that was more than potato wedges. The gyro was very good!! The service was perfect and the portions were generous. Before and after there was an ouzo (which you could of course refuse. The only thing I would point out is that there could be a little more sauce, but that's complaining at a high level!! When I'm back in Hamburg I'll be happy to stop by again, so keep it up!
