Der Besitzer ist ausgesprochen freundlich, und auch das gesamte Personal ist herzlich und bietet einen hervorragenden Service. Ich mag ihre freundliche, warme und familiäre Art sehr. Das Restaurant und die Toiletten sind sehr sauber. Man spürt wirklich, wie viel Liebe und Sorgfalt der Besitzer in sein Restaurant steckt. Zuerst bedanken wir uns für ein Mega leckeres Essen. Wurden sehr Herzlich willkommen geheißen vom Chef wahrscheinlich. Die Kellnerin und der Chef waren echt sympathisch. Das essen kam echt schnell das kennt man nur von gehobenen Restaurants. Der Tzaziki den wir dazu bestellt haben war der beste den wir bisher gegessen haben, frisch und lecker. Wir hatten Lammfilet und einmal Laamfilet mit käse überbacken und war sehr sehr gut. 👍🏻 Das die Kellnerin zum Schluss gefragt hatte wo wir herkommen zeigt von Interesse am Kunden und das macht einen sehr einzigartig. Wir kommen wieder ✌🏻

Zum ersten Mal hier gewesen – und sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Es gibt Griechen und Griechen, aber dieser ist wirklich klasse. Das Gyros Spezial war hervorragend, die Bedienung super freundlich und aufmerksam. Ambiente und Lage passen ebenfalls. Klare Empfehlung! 🔴⚪️

Waren am Ostersonntag mit der Familie den 90. Geburtstag meines Vaters feiern, 15 Personen, Super netter Empfang, schnell wurden uns Getränke gereicht , die Vorspeisen kamen schnell und gleichzeitig wie auch die sehr leckere Hauptspeise. Mein persönliches Fazit man kann das Dionysus Restaurant weiter empfehlen.

Wir sind oft und immer wieder gerne hier, sowohl das Essen als auch die Herzlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ziehen uns immer wieder her. Wir können das Restaurant vorbehaltlos empfehlen und sagen vielen lieben Dank. Viele liebe Grüße Martina & Ulf

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und der Service hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden geblieben. Der Gyros war sehr zart und saftig, ebenso das Rindersteak und die Pommes – alles war offensichtlich frisch und lecker. Alles hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis, wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Preis-Leistung einfach super. Tarama und Tzaziki vor dem Hauptgericht richtig lecker. Vor und nach dem Essen gibt es eine Ouzo. Gyros und Calamari als Hauptgericht… Perfekt!!

Essen an sich lecker, Abzug leider weil das Fleisch bei Gyros leider oftmals sehr zähe Stücke drin hat und auch schon leider Knochiges Stück drin gehabt. Fleisch ist zwar ein Natur Produkt aber sowas darf leider nicht passieren und bei den zähen Stücken war es bei 2 von 3 Bestellung der Fall. Außerdem bei der großen Portion die Menge an Tzaziki eher naja und würde eher zur normalen Portion passen.

Wie immer alles super! Wir sind Stammgäste und kommen immer wieder gern. Das Fleisch ist reichlich und richtig lecker, und der Service ist jedes Mal super nett und herzlich. Fühlen uns hier einfach wohl.

Bin das erste mal dort eingekehrt. Nette Begrüßung. Gemütlich eingerichtet, Das Essen war super lecker. Hatte die Poseidon Platte. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt perfekt gegrillt,total saftig und nicht wie bei anderen Griechen überwürzt. Auch das Gyros war total lecker sowie der Reis. Ein kleinen Salatteller vorweg, der auch sehr gut war.Hier werde ich ganz bestimmt wieder kommen. Und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam

Update: am 15.02.26 waren wir zu viert da, essen kam schnell und war lecker wie immer, alles bestens.***** Sterne von uns.Wir sind dort mehrmals im Jahr zum Essen, alles superfrisch und gar nicht mal so teuer, Portionen soweit mehr als ausreichend zum satt werden. Hinter dem Haus ist auch noch eine Terrasse. Gestern am 18.07.23 waren wir wieder mal da, wieder super. Parken ist möglich hinter dem Haus die Einfahrt runter. Toilette zu ebener Erde, keine Treppe runter wie bei anderen Restaurants.

Wir waren mit sechs Personen im Grill Taverna Dionysos in Hamburg essen und sind rundum begeistert! Schon beim Empfang wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt und haben uns von der ersten Minute an willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Gastfreundschaft wirklich gelebt wird. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Chef, der sich sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und persönlich um seine Gäste kümmert. So eine herzliche Art erlebt man nicht überall das hat unseren Abend direkt besonders gemacht. Auch das gesamte Personal war überaus zuvorkommend, kommunikativ und stets gut gelaunt. Man hatte jederzeit das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Eigentlich hatten wir ganz spontan nach einem Restaurant gesucht und hätten es wirklich nicht besser treffen können. Das Essen war ein absolutes Highlight des Abends! Alle Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt und sehr schön angerichtet. Man schmeckt die Qualität und die Liebe zum Detail. Ein weiteres Highlight war die kleine private Tanzeinlage nach ein paar Ouzos inklusive Sirtaki! Das war nicht nur authentisch, sondern auch unglaublich lustig und hat für eine tolle, ausgelassene Stimmung gesorgt. Solche Momente machen einen Restaurantbesuch unvergesslich. Wir können jedem, der in Hamburg ist, nur wärmstens empfehlen, im Grill Taverna Dionysos essen zu gehen und sich selbst ein Bild zu machen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder! Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort essen. Nach dem wir vom sehr zuvorkommenden Personal in Empfang genommen wurden, hat man uns einen Tisch zugewiesen. Würden dem entsprechend zeitnah bedient. Wir hatten Getränke 1 Vorspeise und 2 Hauptgerichte. Wie man in den Bewertungen der Sterne entnommen kann war das Essen fantastisch. Während der Hauptspeise kam der Chef aus der Küche um sich nach unserem Befinden zu erkundigen. Das fanden wir sehr zuvorkommend und für uns war der Abend fantastisch. Nur zu empfehlen.... Grill Taverna Dionysos hat die warme, einladende Ausstrahlung eines griechischen Lokals, in dem sich gutes Essen und entspannte Gastfreundschaft ganz selbstverständlich verbinden. Der Duft vom Grill, das helle Licht und die herzliche Atmosphäre schaffen einen Ort, an dem man sich schnell wohlfühlt. Die Gerichte wirken bodenständig, aromatisch und großzügig – genau das, was man sich von einer klassischen Taverne erhofft. Ein angenehmer Platz für einen entspannten Abend mit unkompliziertem, wohlschmeckendem Essen.

This week, my sister and I went to the Greek restaurant Dionysos in Jenfeld on Schiffbeker Weg. My friend had recommended it, and she wasn't exaggerating. We had gyros plates and souvlaki skewers with pork tenderloin. Both dishes were excellent. The meat was tender, the fries weren't overcooked, and the tzatziki was delicious. The ouzo was pure and not adulterated. The service was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a very enjoyable evening in a great atmosphere. Highly recommended! Two thumbs up!

My daughter and son-in-law ate there with their two sons in the spring. They paid approximately €100 by debit card. The amount was debited TWICE!! within three months. Despite multiple reminders, the amount has still not been refunded. The owner refuses to be present when visiting the restaurant in person. We will now take legal action, starting with filing a police report. I strongly advise against paying by card. BEWARE 😡 😡 😡

Best Greek restaurant in the area Our group of guys goes there every two weeks. The gyros is always good and very tasty (the best gyros for us). The service and the owner are simply fantastic. They don't skimp on the ouzo. Simply wonderful!

Highly recommended, fully deserved 5 stars. We stopped by with eight people after a hike on October 3, 2025. The table reservation worked perfectly. A very warm welcome from the owner, and the service was very friendly and always attentive. The menu is very extensive. All the dishes were delicious and also very attractively presented. Requests for a change in the doneness of the lamb skewers were immediately accommodated with apologies. If the opportunity arises again, we would be happy to return.

The owner is very nice and friendly, as are the staff. The food is very good and the portions are generous. We enjoy coming here again and again.

Very tasty food, tender meat cooked to perfection, fast service, and very friendly staff. I especially liked that the tzatziki came with the main course, rather than with the salad beforehand. Parking is very limited; the designated parking lot is two spaces in the underground garage with narrow entrances and exits, but you can easily find a parking space in the surrounding area. We'll definitely be back.

A very friendly welcome from the owner himself + very friendly, fast service. Even special requests were happily accommodated. Highly recommended all around. There's also a small underground parking garage + the bus stops almost right outside. We'll be back + so will everyone who's been there with us👍🏻😃

We were on vacation here, and the restaurant was practically around the corner. The delicious food they serve here is absolutely sensational! We highly recommend this tavern as a family and would come back anytime if we didn't live so far away (Bavaria).

Edit July 2025: We were actually finally thrilled again – a new chef who can grill well. Then the disappointment: the filling of the bifteki was, contrary to the menu description, not filled with feta cheese, but mainly with Gouda! Feta cheese may have been only rudimentary. This was evident because the cheese oozed out and was stringy – warm feta cheese doesn't string. Papoutzaki also had more Gouda than feta cheese on top. That's simply unacceptable – I feel fooled and cheated. Such a shame! I gave it one more star because kleftiko is delicious – every piece of meat as it should be. And for the friendly service – a huge thank you to them. I'm curious to see how things will go after your vacation... Edit 2024: I can't understand all the excellent reviews: bifteki was dry, meat grilled black and tough. We're probably the only ones who are bothered by this. Too bad for us, good for the other guests who like that kind of thing. The only really nice things are the new seating area and the summer terrace. Edit 6.2.23: Unfortunately, I have to revise my review from almost a year ago. It takes a long time before I give a bad rating, so I'm very patient, waiting and seeing. But now it's happened: Lambros seems stressed and impatient. The staff isn't particularly friendly (and they change frequently). The quality of the food has declined considerably (after the holiday). The bifteki, for example, lacks fluffiness (are they skimping on eggs?), the meat is often burnt and overcooked, and the chicken broth is completely oversalted and barely edible. Nicely expressed criticism is met with a rude response, disbelief, and dismissal of everything as wrong. On top of that, not only have the prices increased considerably in some cases, but the portion sizes have also been reduced – a double price increase, so to speak. It's a shame, I've always enjoyed it, but now I need a "break." 🤣 The response to my review is really funny! Are there standard answers anywhere? And no, my taste hasn't changed. The quality of some of your dishes, however, has. And as you can see: criticism isn't accepted; it's the others' fault. But I'll come back sometime and let myself be proven wrong. 3.3.22: It's finally back after leaving us so disgracefully. Super nice as always, the food really good, as it was of very high quality. Perhaps a little more garlic in the tzatziki? 😉 Complaining at a high level. We're happy to have you back nearby. The ambiance is simply stunning! It's no wonder that things didn't go so smoothly when we reopened – the place was packed the whole time. It was our first time here and we experienced very courteous service, very friendly and attentive. The food came quickly, the portions were very large and it tasted really good. All in all a very good experience and we would come back if we lived closer - we ended up there by chance.

A very nice experience! When we entered the restaurant we were personally greeted by the boss and shown to our table - a very nice gesture that creates a warm atmosphere. As a welcome we were given a small glass of ouzo, which was a nice surprise. The food was really tasty, the portions were absolutely fine. My meat dish was well seasoned, although one component could have been a little more well-done for my taste. However, this is a personal preference, as my partner enjoyed it just as much. At the end there was an ouzo when paying the bill - a great gesture! Overall, a very pleasant evening with good food and friendly service. I'd love to come back

We went here for dinner for the first time yesterday and were really completely satisfied and enthusiastic. All the dishes tasted outstanding and the service was pleasantly friendly. Parking spaces are also available. The restaurant has parking spaces in the underground car park. I also found it pleasant that guests are asked whether they would like to drink an ouzo and it is not simply served without asking. 👏🏼 We are happy to recommend the Grill Taverna Dionysos!

Actually quite ok, gyros are actually very tasty, juicy and crispy at the same time. Fast service, you shouldn't use the underground car park if you're an unsafe driver or have a big car, and a big minus point when it comes to eating! What I didn't like about the service: Excessive/feigned friendliness: 3 people almost ran after us to say goodbye with a handshake. Not just since Corona, an already questionable ritual during the flu season and a lot of hands are shaken here. But the food was disappointing: in the Bifteki there was only Gouda instead of the expected sheep's cheese, which was confirmed to us when we asked. It was said that the chef always does it like that. However, on the menu (as is generally the case) there is sheep's cheese. You could have complained and then you could have gotten Bifteki with sheep's cheese. It's strange, I would have assumed that it was enough to order what was on the menu.

I had gyros gratinated in Metaxa sauce. Unfortunately the meat was drowned in the sauce. Half the sauce probably would have been enough and made the meal tastier. Second, we had a grilled plate with lamb chops and minced meat skewers. The lamb was said to be good, but the minced skewers were simply too big. This made it look uninviting and only tasted partially good. The ambience was okay, but very average. The service was nice and attentive

Starters were good. Main courses: Meat skewers were still RAW inside! Stuffed pork fillet (tomatoes, onions, sheep cheese) Onions and tomatoes were cold! At a Greek restaurant I expect dishes with Mediterranean spices. Everything was quite bland. "You could add more seasoning..." All in all, very disappointing

We traveled from further afield and chose this restaurant based on photos and reviews. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our food with children. Then unfortunately we didn't get the correct order. There were very few fries as a side dish. The children got ours to fill them up. We tried several times to say that something was missing or brought incorrectly. We also wanted to order more fries. In the middle of a sentence we were left standing by a waitress and also the boss. People were surprised when we were slightly annoyed. You have to understand it would be so full That's all normal. Unfortunately a disappointment for our first evening in Hamburg.
