Ich hatte ein sehr gutes Giros. Alle anderen Gäste waren auch vom Essen und Service begeistert. Unbedingt zu den Spitzenzeiten reservieren!

Durch Zufall haben wir dieses tolle Restaurant besucht, inzwischen sind wir sehr oft dort.. Es passt alles, nette Bedienung, gute Preise und vor allem, leckeres Essen. Der Außenbereich könnte noch etwas schöner gestaltet werden, mal ein kleines Blümchen auf dem Tisch o.ä. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder

Preis-Leistung geht absolut in Ordnung. Eher günstig, Ouzo reichlich wer das Getränk mag. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Zufällig sind wir an der Taverna Achillion vorbei gekommen und haben es nicht bereut, eingekehrt zu sein. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient, das Essen hat, in einem schönen Ambiente, sehr gut geschmeckt. Sehr gern kommen wir wieder.

Dieses Restaurant überzeugt auf ganzer Linie und setzt Maßstäbe in nahezu allen Bereichen. Bereits beim Betreten fällt das stilvolle und zugleich einladende Ambiente auf. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll abgestimmt – modern, ohne kühl zu wirken, und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Beleuchtung, Musik und Raumaufteilung schaffen eine angenehme Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Der Service ist herausragend. Das Personal agiert aufmerksam, professionell und gleichzeitig herzlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wünsche werden schnell und zuverlässig erfüllt, und man spürt, dass hier echte Gastfreundschaft gelebt wird. Kulinarisch bewegt sich das Restaurant auf höchstem Niveau. Die Speisen sind nicht nur optisch ansprechend angerichtet, sondern überzeugen vor allem durch ihre Qualität und ihren Geschmack. Frische Zutaten, kreative Kombinationen und eine perfekte Abstimmung der Aromen machen jedes Gericht zu einem Erlebnis. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sorgfalt bei der Zubereitung – hier wird mit Leidenschaft gekocht. Auch die Getränkekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Eine sorgfältig kuratierte Auswahl an Weinen, passenden Empfehlungen sowie hochwertige alkoholfreie Alternativen runden das Gesamtbild ab. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angesichts der gebotenen Qualität absolut gerechtfertigt. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf ein stimmiges Gesamterlebnis gelegt wird – von der ersten Begrüßung bis zum letzten Eindruck beim Verlassen des Restaurants. Insgesamt ein Ort, den man gerne weiterempfiehlt und zu dem man mit Sicherheit zurückkehrt.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort zum Abendessen. Das Essen war soweit lecker und gut, aber etwas sehr salzig und es ätte vielleicht ein wenig schöner angerichtet sein können. Sah so ein bisschen nach einer etwas besseren Kantine aus. Zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang wurden die Teller nicht gewechselt. Wir mussten unsere Grillplatten über die kleinen Vorspeisenteller verzehren. Am Ende wurden wir um ca. 22:30 Uhr mit der Präsentation der Rechnung aus dem Laden gefegt obwohl bis 23 Uhr geöffnet ist. Soetwas möchte man nicht erleben wenn man eine sehr überdurchschnittliche Summe angehäuft hat. Alles in allem, schöner Laden mit noch Luft nach oben. Nachtrag aufgrund der Frage vom Inhaber: Es war der Inhaber der abkassiert hat.

Seit dem Inhaberwechsel leider qeg vom griechischen Essen und sehr spezielle Preise (z.B. 19 Euro für 5 Scampis) Schade!

Unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant, wir sind sehr oft da, das Essen ist einfach nur klasse und das Personal sehr Freundlich.

Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr freundlicher Bewirtung. Das Essen ist sehr gut und schmeckt wunderbar. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt. Hier komme ich gerne wieder her.

Das hat mir gefallen. Nach einer Wanderung suchten wir nach einem Lokal und bekamen gerade noch so einen Platz. Dorade und Lamm vom Grill waren etwas zu trocken, aber lecker und gut angemacht. Der Cappuccino war ein Gedicht, auch optisch. 🙂 Am besten gefielen uns die Atmosphäre sowie die Bedienung, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir sind lange geblieben und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben heute Essen telefonisch vorbestellt und dann abgeholt. Zweimal Gyros mit Pommes für unschlagbare 15,- Euro pro Teller. Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und freundlich. Das Essen war richtig lecker und die Portion mehr als großzügig. Für jeden war ein wirklich leckerer Salat und eine Portion Tzatziki dabei sowie ein paar Scheiben leckeres und ganz frisches Brot. Da ich vor Ort den mir netterweise angebotenen Ouzo ablehnen musste , weil ich mit dem Auto da war, bekam ich tatsächlich einen für zu Hause in einer kleinen Flasche mit. Das fand ich richtig großzügig! Also ich kann diesen Griechen nur empfehlen!!!

The Gyros Metaxa is the best I've ever eaten! We'll definitely be back.

A very down-to-earth and reasonably priced Greek restaurant that we always enjoy visiting. The food is delicious (sea bream fillet on arugula €19.50 and gyros and souvlaki €17.50) and always plentiful. The appetizers are also consistently tasty and something we frequently order. We also often take advantage of their takeout service. The restaurant is very popular, so it's advisable to reserve a table or call ahead to check availability. We've always managed to get a table. It's also lovely in the summer, as you can then dine in the garden (both covered and uncovered). It's almost like being on vacation. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

First, a small criticism, as everything else was perfect. Our bread was unfortunately quite hard and difficult to chew. Now for the positives: The tzatziki, the meat, the fries, the sauce, and the rice were tender and delicious. The salad tasted extremely fresh, and the combination of flavors impressed us.

We love eating here. The atmosphere is cozy, and the outside is also very nice in the summer. The food is delicious and plentiful, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

We were there for the first time today, but certainly not the last. We've rarely eaten such a plentiful and delicious meal. 5* isn't enough.

The food was just swimming in oil and therefore inedible. A dish topped with mozzarella was forgotten to be baked and therefore wasn't hot. The scampi was very poor quality, completely overcooked and dry. It was otherwise better.

A truly beautiful place. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the staff extremely attentive. The prices are a bit higher, but that's the case almost everywhere these days. The outdoor area faces the street and can be a bit noisy, but it's very tastefully designed with hedges and plants—it's still a pleasant place to sit. Overall, everything was very clean and decorated with great attention to detail.

It was a solid visit. Unfortunately, the clothes smelled really bad after the visit. Unfortunately that was a bit of a shame. Not every visitor wants an ouzo... due to sustainability, it would be better if you were asked in advance, then it doesn't have to be given away. Even the small portion is still very rich.

We were here for the first time a few days ago and will definitely come back. Very authentic Greek food at fair prices and what should be highlighted is the above-average service. We were there with a baby and dog, got a quiet place in the corner, the dog got water and the staff were super warm and accommodating.

When we do our weekly shopping in Neugraben, we like to go to this "Greek". It opens on early afternoon, has a nice outdoor area in the warm season. The food and the portions are absolutely okay. The prices are moderate. The service is fast and good. For us the TOP is... the opening time during the week from 3:00 p.m.

Five of us ate here and we all left the restaurant satisfied and full. From the service, which was quick, friendly and attentive, to the delicious food, whether it was a starter or a main course, everything was perfect. Spyros plate was the right size, not too much, not too little, lamb was tasty, gyros was also good, could have been a bit crispier, but you could have asked for it beforehand. So everything was good, it tasted good. The anchovies on the rocket salad were also very tasty. The gyros in the Metaxa sauce was also ordered again. It might have been a little too salty for some people, it was borderline ;) But I think there are worse things. There was also ouzo, as was the bill, which didn't attract any negative attention. There are far more expensive and no better Greek restaurants in the area. It wasn't the first time we were here and certainly not the last time either. Great!

Unfortunately the quality has decreased somewhat. The gyros used to be very crispy, but yesterday it was mostly soggy. I could also observe this at the neighboring table. The salad was forgotten and instead of rice I got fries on my plate; at least with extra rice. Maybe my expectations are too high, but it used to win multiple awards.

We have been regular guests at this Greek restaurant for ages and have always been satisfied! After the change of ownership, unfortunately the portions also shrank, so the gyros cream casserole was no longer served in a casserole dish but on a deep plate, fries were more than halved and the bifteki also had it Cheese inside only after prior discussion. There's nothing to complain about in terms of taste and quality! On Friday we reserved a table for 4 people and were there We also had a voucher there that was worth just €30, we didn't notice that it had expired for almost 5 weeks. (VOUCHER HERE ARE ONLY VALID FOR ONE YEAR) When it came time to pay we put the voucher in question Voucher in front of me and the waiter (always super nice) said “Oh, I have to ask if the voucher is still accepted”, he probably did the same to the boss, but he said that he didn’t accept it either Goodwill! I paid and wanted to explain again at the counter that zero goodwill is not the nice thing to do with regular customers who have been there for years, because they got the money and the case law sees a 1-year voucher differently! It was explained to me that we would and are wrong about it then left. Ergo: as long as the shop is always full on weekends, you can do without your regular customers. We won't be eating here anymore!

We always enjoyed being guests at Taverna Achillion. Great food and super nice service - formerly! Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. On our last visit we were more or less ignored. The service staff, who we were always looking forward to, more or less looked past us. There were also new waitresses there, but they made us wait about an hour for our food. Some guests who came after us had already had their food long ago, until we got ours too. We also didn't ask if everything was OK or if we would like to order anything else. Somehow we were a nuisance as guests. We actually felt very uncomfortable, and I ended up eating some of my food, which was still delicious. Took it home - ate it quickly and left straight away. It took a while before we were “allowed” to pay - just a shame!! At the moment there is nothing that draws us there anymore!

We have been guests for many years and have really enjoyed the food, service and ambience there. Then came the change of ownership. Long waiting times before you are even served, excessively long waiting times until the food comes. The quality of the food is no longer what it used to be. It tastes run of the mill, bland and dry when fried. Asking for calamari on a Saturday is pointless. Recently, there is no longer a little bit of tzatziki on the edge of the plate with a meat dish; you have to order it separately as a starter... Well then... The service staff rush through the restaurant. At first we thought that it was a coincidence, that there was just a lot to do and that sometimes the service and food fell by the wayside. Unfortunately, this is no coincidence. We have been regular customers for many years and will not visit this restaurant again.

We had actually only had nice experiences in the cozy restaurant before. Only this time we celebrated a birthday there and regretted it very much. We weren't noticed right from the start and had to wait forever for salad/bread even though there were hardly any guests there. Nobody even asked if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else. Uso was offered to us when we had already paid for the meal! Really a shame!

Well attended in the early evening. Feta baked nothing special. Coleslaw OK, There were some slices of stale white bread, dry. Tzatziki not particularly. Bifteki dry. My husband's grill plate has been OK so far.

We spontaneously went to the Taverna Achillon for a meal and, apart from the tarama starter, we enjoyed the food. The meat on my grill plate was juicy and tender, and the fries were nice and crispy. The gratinated sheep's cheese in aluminum foil was also delicious. The service staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The ambience is always individual, but we felt comfortable. I don't think it's normal to have an ouzo before a meal and one after a meal on the house. If you want to eat Greek in the Fischbek, Neugraben/Neuwiedenthal area, you can't go wrong with Taverna Achillon. I liked it and tasted it.

Definitely my favorite restaurant at the beginning of 2023. But now with the restructuring, a lot has been lost and unfortunately things get 'worse' with every visit. It wasn't until yesterday that I noticed again how much the service had deteriorated. The 'new' employees deliver the food all over the place, eating together was unthinkable. For a long time we were missing the side dishes and a complete meal, but the next table got the side dishes and a meal. The response to the request was quite unfriendly. In addition, the portions are becoming smaller and smaller, and we particularly noticed this with the tzatziki. And the bread was definitely older too. Really sad about the loss. Addendum: The quality is decreasing more and more.

The food is good and tasteful. Which left a very negative impression. A €50.00 voucher which we had given away as a gift many times. was no longer recognized because the owner changed within the family. According to the motto, whoever comes late is punished by the innkeeper by not being credited!

Greek restaurant in an older house with an annex. Restaurant looks well-kept and clean, the seating areas are comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste that good to me, the meat was well-cooked and quite tough and the food as a whole was hardly seasoned, the fries were quite dark (probably left in the deep fryer for too long). Others at my table had slightly better tasting food. It was very busy in the restaurant that day so I can't judge whether it was an exception or the food is like that in general. If this is generally the case, I would not choose the restaurant again (if it is my decision) to eat out.
