Been here again for 30 years, the gyros were a pleasure as always 👍 Atmosphere like in a Greek tavern, but you have to like that 😉 Huge portion and super tasty.

Came across the gyros specialist by chance! Delicious food, super hot tzatziki (my wife doesn't like kissing me even after two days) very good value for money. The only downside is cash payment only and difficult parking situation. But we'll definitely come back!

I've known this shop for as long as I can remember and even my parents have been shopping here for ages, but for a long time now the price of gyros has been steadily increasing and the portions are getting smaller. Today was the highlight, ordered 2 large gyros and received the same portion size as our previous orders 1 x large & 1 x small gyro. When he called home, he said he had put more meat in... it's not a bad thing at all to increase the price for less food, but then really screwing over customers for a long time is the last thing. The new managing director should rethink his actions. But everything has an end.

I love you! The best gyros in the whole city, large portions and great prices. Even as a child, I loved it when mom and dad picked up gyros. Today I can pick it up myself and as often as I want :D The owner and the staff are very warm and friendly. Definitely try it!! 😋😋 The Metaxa sauce is also very good. @reviewer Stefan Raab: I think it's unfair to only give one star because of the long waiting time even though the food was great. You rate everything with one star anyway. What should you do if a lot of people want to order food at once? You can't keep up with that or should the restaurant now expand and enlarge the kitchen so that you don't have to wait 5 minutes?

I haven't been so happy for a long time, this was the best gyro I've ever eaten from the first bite to the last without being afraid to bite. The taste is right in your face, Tzaziki subtly hits you hard and it still rings out so hot for an hour. Go here with your boys and girls and enjoy really good food and nice people! 5 out of 5 and worth every euro.

Parking spaces/public transport connections: There are plenty of parking spaces for cars, motorcycles and bicycles on site. Bus stop 100 meters away. Entrance area: Very simple entrance area with a standing counter inside and outside. The snack bar atmosphere is great. Covered and heated terrace with seating and tables. Smoking possible. Drink: Various non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, including very good Retsina (I'm enjoying it at the moment) and Mythos beer (both imported from Greece!). Very good ouzo, just mentioned in passing. Eat: Very well seasoned gyro meat. Unfortunately I didn't try the other dishes. Toilet: Very clean(!) outdoor toilet facilities, separated by gender. Limited wheelchair accessibility. Operation: Very friendly, nice reception. Seat service after ordering. Conclusion: It's always worth a stop if you know real Greek cuisine from Greece. 🥰

Incredibly tasty gyros including side dishes, very generous portions. Unfortunately you have to order in the restaurant and then wait on site, which is sometimes a bit annoying. But the food and the consistently proven quality make up for it!

Simply unbeatable, great value for money and very friendly

It was okay, but I can't understand the 4.8 stars or share them. At first I thought "Wow! Huge portion for the money" (approx. 15 euros for a gyro plate)... But in the end it wasn't anything more, it was just a lot. Unfortunately, the Metaxa sauce was inedible and gluey. All in all, the price is put into perspective again. Ambiance: It's a snack bar.

I went there with a friend and it was really delicious. Good quality meat! The service was also very nice and accommodating! My honest opinion is that everything was great, but the ambience wasn't that great, more potential for improvement ↗️! But otherwise a good safe call who knows something about the gyro craftsman!!! Tip: better order in advance and then enjoy! 1 portion is almost impossible to finish (I think it's good!)

Best Gyros in town! The meat is perfectly marinated, tender, and bursting with flavor—truly a standout. The shop itself is quite small, so it’s primarily geared towards takeaway. Other dishes are not comparable though. If you’re a gyros lover, this place is a must-visit in Hamburg. Highly recommend!

My family has been getting gyros and other delicacies there for over 30 years and we are always very satisfied. You shouldn't miss the experience and get there quickly That was once unfortunately the portions have become smaller and more expensive. I've had 2 large portions a few times now and they were the same size as a large one. Great more money less meat and that can't be said several times and unfortunately super disappointing so we won't be back after almost 30 Loyalty and every week it's really sad that you don't appreciate customers who have been loyal for so long and over 3 generations

Popular with the fire brigade, police and garbage collectors, it is always busy. A little waiting time must be expected. Everything is freshly prepared. The quality of the food is high and there is nothing to complain about when it comes to hygiene. It is cleaned every now and then and the fat is also changed almost daily. Because compared to some other snack bars, there is no smell of old grease here and the fries always taste great. Portions are always plentiful and the price/performance ratio is absolutely right. Inside you can eat standing up, outside there is a covered "summer garden" that is even slightly heated. You can sit there. You still have to order inside, but the food is brought out. All in all, the best snack bar far and wide At peak times (6 p.m.-8 p.m., you have to expect 30-45 minutes to get your food.

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to pre-order there by telephone as the telephone will probably be taken out of service.

Since you're usually not in the store...but rather take away or outside. The old-fashioned atmosphere doesn't matter at all. The food is simply irresistible. Huge portions. Crispy, hot and very, very fresh. Three huge skewers are freshly prepared every morning. And every evening they are completely empty. Anyone who wants to get something in the evening. Better call beforehand. And the employees are just great, like a little Greece vacation

The name says it all: Here you can get some of the best gyros in all of Hamburg! There are numerous regular guests who have been coming here for years (due to its remote and hidden location between Bramfeld and Farmsen, hardly any people other than the local neighbors come here). If you order the large portion, you have to have a big appetite! You won't find better value for money anywhere else! Even the portion of fries on the plate is very generous. There is an outdoor tent to sit in and even small bottles of wine for sale, as well as beer and other drinks in the fridge. The staff is cool and brings the food to the table themselves. It can only be paid with cash

I've had a lot of gyros in my life, but this was simply the best gyros I've ever had! The journey is worth it. Price/performance unbeatable.

We come from the west of Hamburg. Whenever we are near there, we go to the gyros specialist. We are thrilled…large quantity, best gyros, nice staff. Top price. Unfortunately I couldn't convince the boys to open a shop in the west of HH. It's a shame 😂 please keep it up.

I'm always thrilled with the food, with the small gyros the portion is always enough to fill you up and the taste is always great, the local people are always very nice and friendly. Add a delicious Mythos and an ouzo and the evening is perfect. So clear recommendation!!! You should only take some time during peak hours, as this shop is no longer an insider tip.

For me and many others, it has been the No. 1 choice when it comes to gyros for over 40 years. All meat dishes are top. The price-performance ratio is 100% right here. The coleslaw is amazing. Even in a very good Greek restaurant, the gyros can't compete. The staff is always super nice... For me the number one in Hamburg...

I can't understand why some people here are deducting stars for the long queue. The store can't help that 😅. It's super tasty, the portions are generous and the price is right too. Everyone works hard to make all customers happy. Our favorite Greek!

Simply delicious 😋 Giros with fries and tźaziki, complete with coleslaw, you get from really friendly staff. The large portions for only about 14 euros can only be achieved by a good eater who is very hungry. I take the small portion for 10.50 euros. I got well 👍 full of it!! Very tasty schnitzels, large shish kebabs, currywurst, skewers, etc. have been available in consistent top quality for 40 years now and everything is super tasty 😋 here!!! Food can also be pre-ordered by phone. To eat on site or to pick up from home!! I can recommend it absolutely without reservation!!! I'm always happy to come back.
