Sehr freundlich, sehr sehr gutes Essen (und noch besseres, selbstgebrautes Bier :-), alles tip top sauber, komme gerne wieder.

Waren heute erstmals hier zu Mittag Gast. Hatten für 2 Personen reserviert, auf Grund des prima Sommerwetters saßen wir dann im Außenbereich, wo Vorbestellung nicht notwendig ist. Essen war erstklassig, Preis/Leistung völlig in Ordnung. Es ist ein schönes Ambiente im 4- Seitenhof, alles sehr ursprünglich und liebevoll angerichtet. Personal sehr freundlich! Unser Fazit: Obwohl wir nur ca. 15km entfernt wohnen, unbegreiflich, das wir hier nicht früher zu Gast waren....Wir kommen bald wieder!

Freundlicher Service, gutes Essen und Bier. Zimmer in Ordnung. Frühstück vielfältig und lecker. Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt und können sowohl Restaurant und Pension weiterempfehlen.

Ein schönes Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen und gutem Service

Wir waren im Restaurant (nicht in der Pension). Die Gasträume und der Innenhof sind einladend. Die Bedienung ist flott und freundlich. Das Essen ist "gut bürgerlich" im besten Sinne, weil sehr lecker. Nicht vergessen, das Eis zu probieren!

Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen im Schwalbenhof und rundum begeistert. Der Kellner war super freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und total kinderlieb – man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war mega lecker und alles war frisch und toll angerichtet. Außerdem war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können den Schwalbenhof absolut weiterempfehlen! Also ☆☆☆☆☆ absolut verdient. Toll.

Wir waren als Zwischenstopp von unsere Fahrradtour hier angehalten auf ein mega leckeres selbst gebautes kühles Bier 🍻. Der Innenhof lässt gut zum verweilen. Speisekarte klang auch sehr gut.

Essen top Preise angemessen, für die Qualität. Lokation sehr schön. Toiletten sehr sauber. Da es sich um einen alten 4 Seiten Hof handelt, ist der Weg für Gehbehinderte Menschen und Rollis etwas schwierig, aber zu meistern. (Kopfsteinpflaster anno 1890) Service top.

Wir waren gestern in kleiner Gesellschaft bei euch. Leckeres Essen mit reichlichen Portionen! Die Bedienung war super! Hier gibt's nix zu meckern. Weiter so und stets eine "Volle Hütte" wünschen wir euch. Bis bald!

Wir haben Familie in der Gegend und kamen nun schon öfter zum Essen vorbei. Dazu brauche ich wohl nichts zu sagen, dafür ist der Hof ohnehin schon überregional weit bekannt. Dieses Mal haben wir uns auch ein Zimmer im Hof gemietet und sind wirklich begeistert von der gemütlichen Hof-Atmosphäre, die sich in den Zimmern genauso widerspiegelt wie bereits draußen schon. Alles ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und wirklich picobello sauber. Preis/Leistung ist wirklich absolut überzeugend und macht uns in Zukunft gerne zu Wiederholungstätern.

Waren zu Gast zum Abendessen. Reservierung ist wichtig, am Besten per Mail, kleines Lokal. Dafür super freundlicher Chef und Bedienung, Essen mega lecker und große Portionen. Preis-/Leistung war sehr gut. Kommen sehr gerne beim nächsten Besuch wieder zu euch.

Wir waren gestern bei einer Feierlichkeit dort eingeladen. Super schön alles eingerichtet, selbst die Toiletten waren ansprechend. Das Servicepersonal sehr engagiert, nett und flink. Das Essen war super lecker, mal auch was außergewöhnliches, für mich schönes gesundes Essen wie zum Beispiel Pastinakenpüree. Auch den andren Gästen hat das Essen gut geschmeckt. Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts sagen, da wir nicht übernachtet haben. Wir werden sicher mal mit dem Rad dorthin fahren.

Tolle Atmosphäre. Bedienungen trotz großer Gesellschaft super schnell und freundlich, das Essen sehr lecker. Empfehlenswert.

Mega - ich bin total begeistert von dem Restaurant- Es hat allen gut geschmeckt. Wenn man auf Toilette muss, gibt’s für jeden ein kleines Handtuch- mega habe ich noch nie so erlebt. Mega, mega,mega 👍

Gutes Restaurant mit leckeren Essen

Wir hatten am 11.12.25 unsere Firmenweihnachtsfeier im Schwalbenhof. Von der Absprache bis zur Umsetzung waren alle zufrieden. Wir starteten mit Feuer und Glühwein im wunderschön geschmückten Innenhof. Das Buffet war super lecker. Es kam von allen Kollegen positives Feedback. Da ich auch privat in den Schwalbenhof essen gehe,war ich mir recht sicher,das wir sehr zufrieden sein werden. Die Pension haben wir nicht genutzt.

Sehr, sehr gut zu Mittag gegessen.

Wir waren dort zu einer Geburtstagsfeier und waren angenehm überrascht. Hervorheben möchte ich die leckeren Wickelklöße. Einmalig!!!

Today was our fifth time eating here this year. So we can't comment on the rooms. But everything else is simply fantastic. The location in a restored courtyard, the friendly, attentive staff, and the great, always-fun-loving chef. And the food is diverse and varied, but always lovingly prepared and delicious. We'll definitely be having a great meal here again in 2026.

We went to the Schwalbenhof for a family dinner on Sunday. A friendly welcome, a lovely evening, and super delicious food. 5 stars for the straw-fed pork chop! We'd love to go again!

We visited on a busy summer day and received a very warm welcome. The owner was extremely friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unassuming—just the right combination. The food was excellent! We were just there for dinner, so we weren't guests. The food was good, and the staff was friendly. There wasn't a long wait. The restaurant is located in an old courtyard that has been beautifully restored. When the weather's nice, you can certainly sit comfortably in the courtyard.

A superb guesthouse. Very comfortable rooms and a well-maintained bathroom. The courtyard is beautifully maintained and perfect for a relaxing dinner. Great service and excellent food. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and fresh. We would gladly return.

We went there last night with friends and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was delicious, and we particularly enjoyed the ambiance in the cozy courtyard. There was a small mix-up with our order – one dish was incorrect, and two others had incorrect side dishes. However, the team responded very quickly and friendly: the dish was replaced, and the correct side dishes were promptly served. Mistakes can happen, and the friendly service handled this perfectly. We'd be happy to come back!

I was invited to a birthday party there. The organization and the buffet were top-notch, and the food was very good. Parking is somewhat limited. There's about enough space for 15 cars, which is a bit tight for two parties. There's a speed camera directly in front of the restaurant, which is a 30 km/h zone.

Located on the outskirts of Zwickau, unfortunately, it's not possible to comment on the guesthouse due to its proximity – but the Schwalbenhof is highly recommended for its gastronomic offerings! We received excellent and friendly service from coffee to dinner during a birthday celebration. The evening menu was varied, and the food and drinks were delicious. After an already enjoyable lunch at this inn – with its lovely beer garden and play areas for children – we'd be happy to return!

A great day trip destination! We ate there for the second time today, and the food was just as amazing as last time. I can't rate the rooms because I "ONLY" ate in the very, very good restaurant. As always, we enjoyed delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. There's something on the menu for every taste, with generous portions and reasonable prices. And the hosts are friendly. What more could you want? We're always happy to come back.

I was there at lunchtime on May 17, 2025, and can only recommend it. Price/performance ratio a la bonheur. The fact alone that I spent 2.5 hours there, ate and drank very well, and didn't leave feeling penniless.

On March 29, 2025, we celebrated our golden wedding anniversary here with 26 people. We were greeted with a festively set table by a friendly chef and team who fulfilled our every wish. Hello and thanks to the Schwalbenhof, I was looking for a guesthouse in the Zwickau area for my friend and me to stay overnight. I noticed the many positive reviews for the Schwalbenhof! I wrote an email asking about a double room with separate beds and I quickly received a positive response. The price (80 euros) including breakfast was the best I've experienced in the area. Free parking next to the yard. The building and the courtyard are great, not a cool, charmless castle, but a lovingly prepared courtyard with history. We received a very friendly welcome and the room also had character and was stylishly furnished, with a separate bathroom/toilet. Everything just fit together and nothing was missing, even a big TV. We had booked a table for dinner in the attached inn and the three of us ate there. By 6 p.m. every table was taken and I was glad we had reserved. The Strindberg steak was delicious and sufficient with salad. The beer, which you also get home-brewed, also tasted very, very good. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive at all times. I can only recommend everyone to eat there and RESERVE a table (-: The breakfast buffet this morning was outstanding. Coffee, fresh rolls of your choice, sausage, cheese, jam, yoghurt, muesli and even eggs. Top Top. Thanks again to the entire Schwalbenhof team, we will definitely come back when we are in the area!!! A wonderful farm that has been lovingly restored and expanded. The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. Spontaneous visits can go wrong! It's usually busy, so pre-booking isn't a bad idea. In summer, you can also sit outside for a refreshing drink or a hearty meal.

The restaurant is always recommended. The ambiance, whether in the dining room or in the courtyard, is very pleasant. The staff is fantastic, no matter what area they serve. The food, no matter which dish we've tried so far, is amazing (tasty and beautifully presented). It's a superbly run family business that gives its guests the best they can, and where you're always welcome. We'd love to come back.

Very good food. The staff is very friendly and always there when you need them. The coordination in advance was very good and wishes were fulfilled as far as possible.

Location, food, everything was good. Unfortunately the room was cold every evening because the heating was always turned down. Despite consultation, nothing has changed. Therefore we have now changed the hotel.

The family-run guesthouse is just outside of Zwickau, conveniently located and quiet, so you can sleep wonderfully. The rooms are tastefully furnished and there is something for everyone in the restaurant. The overall concept is rounded off by the in-house parking space and, above all, the friendliness of the staff.

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary and 70th birthday here on September 14th, 2024. The service was super friendly and fulfilled our every wish. There were 33 of us who were all able to choose from the large menu. The food was served to all guests at the same time, of high quality and tasted wonderful. Thanks to the extra beds, we were able to spend the night with the whole family in a beautiful atmosphere. Thank you again for the good hospitality.

At the beginning we prepared a little surprise for the anniversary. For this we used a commercially available “cracker”. Nothing dramatic, no fire, no dirt - only large confetti (2x4cm) came from the surprise. It didn't take long before the lady from the service came and snapped at us in a very unfriendly and forceful tone: "What is that? You clean the dirt yourself. Otherwise it will cost an extra cleaning fee!" Completely taken aback by the “good” customer service, we asked for a broom and dustpan. We didn't get a broom, but the boss came and wasn't in a better mood. He also approached society in an unfriendly manner that was completely inappropriate for the situation. There would already be confetti in the toilets. I emphasize again, there was some confetti. Not the small one made of paper, but the larger one made of foil-like material. In the space near the toilets there was actually ONE ☝️ confetti snippet - WOW.... Someone probably had it on their clothes. Well, we still hadn't gotten brooms. We then had to “order” it again. In short, we cleaned everything up and also swept up various hair from other guests. Yummy .... The evening was rather less successful. Was there again for 3 nights. As always, everything was great. The mattresses are wonderful and you have peace at night as it is in a very rural location. The kitchen deserves another 5 stars extra. The overall package is just right, the staff is friendly and nice. Everything is very uncomplicated and you immediately become part of the family.
