We were just in the restaurant. We decided on a normal tuna pizza. It was an onion pizza with very little tuna. That's how you can rip people off. The condition didn't matter!!!

The food was excellent and the service was extremely friendly. We'll definitely be back! The portions are generous and high quality. 🅿️ There is sufficient parking space on site.

Ambiguous experience eating there. The quality of the food was very good. Not cheap, but consistently good ingredients and, above all, well prepared and presented. We ordered a cold appetizer platter and pizzas, with wine. When I asked for a glass or carafe of water after the starter, we were denied it. I was speechless. "Just a glass of water please" - no, it's not possible, I have to order a bottle of San Pellegrino. It was a shame, especially since we still had wine and ordered two courses. I don't know that. For the starter there were 2x 2 small slices of bread in separate paper bags, nothing special. If we didn't understand the outer packaging, we would have offered to put a basket there, warm it up again, something like that, tasteless bread in a tasteless presentation. Basically good cuisine, but unfortunately it failed in the last meter.

Super tasty pizzas and salads. One of the best Italian restaurants in the region. Nice ambience. Unfortunately there are a lot of reservations so you don't always get a table even if many tables are still empty. (Probably many guests would have left by the time the reserved guests arrived....)

Good location, clean premises, friendly and very attentive staff. Food excellent, wishes come true. We've been here with a family of ten or more people, mostly two people. I've been there twice before and loved it each time, great pizza at a very good price, I would rate the service as acceptable although it could be improved and at the end there was always a small bottle of limoncello. Unfortunately, the last time the service wasn't that great, the pizza was still very good but no longer outstanding and the limoncello was completely rationalized away... It's a shame, I've always been very satisfied before.

Sept. 2024 After a little over a year we ate here again. The food was very tasty, coupled with attentive service, that's what you want from the restaurant experience. Thanks to the Villa Martino team and greetings, Matthias September 2023 Went here again yesterday with business friends. I can fully recommend the restaurant. Good service, friendly service, top food.

Well maintained and clean Hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a wonderful Italian style restaurant which provides excellent Italian food and coffee. There is no lift, and the stairs with a rail on only one side, which is problematic for those with disabilities.

My rating speaks for itself. The entire package fits. I'd love to come back. Only to recommend.

Pizza had way too much mozzarella on it. The mozzarella was tough and rubbery and like a stone in the stomach, I had problems after eating it!!!

The rooms are generously sized and well maintained. The dishes are freshly prepared, which can also be seen in the taste. You can also watch the preparation of various dishes. I regretted it. I invited seven people because I thought it was a good restaurant in every way. I regretted it. The worst part is the service. The staff was very disinterested from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Even my guests were amazed at how such a nice restaurant could have such poor service. They brought us drinks and the glasses were missing. I was served meat and left without a fork. I ordered a vegetable dish without mushrooms, and it came with mushrooms. A total disappointment. I paid a lot for something that didn't deserve it. The food was quite acceptable. Unfortunately I had recommended it to a few friends but won't do it again. I'm disappointed!

A real highlight in Bad Säckingen! The Pizzeria Ristorante Villa Martino impresses with phenomenal Napoleonic pizza, which impresses with fresh ingredients and a crispy dough. The star-shaped “Martinella” in particular is a real culinary delight. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is friendly - you feel completely at home here. An absolutely recommended experience for every pizza lover! And finally an offered limoncello!

The foods are good but the coffee is quite good. Anyway the place is elegant n' the staff so polite.

I went to eat, my wife and I, I must tell the truth, the food was very good, we had a nice day. I also left a tip for the waiters hoping that they would take it because many restaurants share the tip with the owners. However perfect in every way.

But when you return to a place often you don't always have the best experience and sometimes the service wasn't kind at all, other times it was excellent. In short, it depends on who you meet. The pizza is the best you can find outside of Italy in this whole region between Switzerland and Germany and I have tried (unfortunately) too many to be able to guarantee it...

We've been to this great restaurant a few times. The food is really outstanding, no doubt about it. But what always impresses us: the service ☺️the boys are attentive, always in a good mood, never stressed, with a lot of humor and love 🫶 they pamper the guests and you feel so incredibly comfortable. It's always an experience ☺️what use is a good meal if the service isn't good? Nothing . So hats off, we're already looking forward to the next time.

I want to make a constructive criticism the first photo was yesterday the second a few months ago, the huge difference as you can see an appetizer with a prawn and a poor mixed seafood for 22 euros don't you think it's a bit unwatchable? In the second photo I came a while ago, the plate was much fuller, I would say, I would say the blame is not on the chef but on the waiter who brought out such a poor dish! It's unwatchable!!! Great Italian restaurant with excellent cuisine, fish or meat. There is also a great, romantic garden and lovely service staff. What stood out was Doni, who was extremely quick and always friendly and accommodating.

The food was ok. The prices are a bit high for the portions we had and a few dishes were missing salt. The atmosphere is very pleasant and there is plenty of space. Unfortunately we didn't find the waiters very polite. Didn't even smile and seemed rather annoyed so a second visit is out of the question for us as the service is very important in my opinion.

Nice ambience, Lots of staff, you don't have to wait long, beautifully decorated and nicely presented. However: The food isn't that special. Neither in terms of taste nor quality. Been there three times now Pizza dough is good, but unfortunately always totally watery and “sloppy”, so unfortunately the taste is not satisfactory. If you like it that way, here you go. Real pizza is different! And I know what I'm talking about. Our starter was bruschetta. They're ok but only two small thin slices per portion! Then they must taste special when there is so little. I tried the filled mezzalune pasta. You can eat them, but they are not enjoyable. My wife had frutti di mare, a lot of seafood, but unfortunately it had high-quality, fishy-smelling rubber parts. We were there with 17 people and no one thought it was particularly special! It's funny that there's always a lot going on! No Conclusion: All in all a good atmosphere for celebrating, food is ok, but nothing special or in a way that I would say: “I would like to come back” In any case, nothing for connoisseurs and connoisseurs. People who rarely go out to eat and have no idea will probably find it great. Otherwise I can't explain why the store is doing well. The good reputation is probably due to the service and the beautiful decoration. Italian cuisine is much better.

We had dinner there on Sunday evening even though it was overcrowded. We got a great meal and great service. I can recommend the suffle pistacio to you, I simply love it, I give it a well-deserved 4.8 stars, if it were up to me I would even give it 6 stars 😊

Been here several times and always impressed. Unfortunately, I only discovered the star pizza on my last visit. I have never had a pizza like it and I still dream about it. We recommend. The ambience is great, the service is great. Unfortunately, the parking lot is usually full and you have to look for parking in the surrounding residential area.

I stayed there for three nights. Room was okay. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Very loud in room 1 in the evening due to restaurant visitors and chairs being moved, some of which were stored in the anteroom. But overall it is recommended. Breakfast could be better. All Aldi products (sausage, cheese, Augenback rolls)

Best pizza we have had outside Italy so far! Staff are super friendly. The owner is from Naples. So enough said. The seafood fritter is also excellent. Must reserve tables ahead on Fridays and weekends.

First of all, a restaurant that we had visited often but overall everything got worse and worse with each course. Just visited! At the entrance they wanted to send us to the terrace. When we asked that we would like to sit inside, we were given a table for two people in the far corner. ordered food; Service cold inexperienced unfriendly! Little attention was paid to us! Pizza of the day soggy almost inedible, except that I had eaten something on the edges. Paid and when leaving the restaurant except for the Pizzajolo, no one said goodbye. There are actually 4 people behind the counter and no one cares that a guest leaves! SERVICE OPERATION DISASTER! THIS IS TRUE THE LAST TIME WE VISITED THIS RESTAURANT! UNFORTUNATELY NO LONGER WHAT IT USED TO BE TRUE! No longer recommended!

The location and location with parking facilities are fabulous. As well as the reception, staff and management respectful greeting. Brilliant food from the beginning to the last lemonchello, the ambience tasted perfect.

Super tasty pizza restaurant, normal service, I recommend going there

Two stars for the very good food, which deserves five but minus three for the substandard service. The four of us had made reservations and there was a larger event in the next room that evening. We were placed in the hallway just before the door. There was music coming from the loudspeaker above us, music from the festival room plus the background noise of the celebration. In short, zero comfort. As we were walking through we saw that there were several free tables at the front, so we politely asked if it was possible for us to sit at the front. The waiter said no and walked away. When he came back he sat us at a front table, for which we thanked him very much. When ordering, my wife asked for onions on the salami pizza, but the waiter also said that wasn't possible - when we explicitly asked why it wasn't possible to add onions and that we would be happy to pay for them, this was approved. He made us play at every opportunity, making us feel stupid. Awkwardly, we knew a few guests from the next table who later told us that our waiter rolled his eyes behind us in annoyance when we asked for another table. 170 euros for that - never more - thank you

We celebrated my 60th birthday at Villa Martino with 14 people including children. Delicious food with a huge selection of Italian specialties. From the intro to dessert everything was perfect. The child-friendliness of the waiters in particular must be emphasized. That is no longer a given today. See you next time

Great restaurant…very fine food👌🏼

The pizza is very tasty, unfortunately the small salad is now really too small. The delicious salad dressing is no longer served separately. The service has become worse, another drink and dessert were only available upon request and a long wait until someone happened to come by.

Very tasty food, great service. It was a shame that every waiter at our table was responsible; one and always the same contact person would have been more pleasant. I had to order the wine separately even though the wine list was there and I had studied it in detail beforehand (which I also did when the starter was served). All in all a wonderful evening and a nice end to my 35th birthday :-) Lovely again.

The Italian cuisine from Ristorante Villa Martino is a real delight served by friendly staff. From starters to dessert, every dish was a masterpiece. The wine selection was also impressive and complemented the meal perfectly. The furnishings are modern and the plant sections on the ceiling are impressive. There are plenty of parking spaces right in front of, next to and behind the restaurant. All in all, the Ristorante Villa Martino in Bad-Säckingen is highly recommended.

We were there for dinner with 4 people. The food is actually always very good and tasty. Unfortunately very loud and restless!!! As a group of 6 people with a pre-booking a year ago, we were unfortunately told that we would have to leave again after 1.5 hours. Very impolite!

We made a reservation in advance and were assigned a nice seat and served straight away. The service staff was friendly and well-groomed. The food is A1! Very tasty pizza. When we said goodbye, the children received free Chupa Chups. Thank you very much. I would be happy to come back.

I was eating with my wife, the only negative point was that I had a reservation at 7 p.m. and had to wait at the door until 7:40 p.m. The food was very good and I will continue to recommend it.

Incomprehensible!!! We wanted to have coffee and eat cake or dessert at 3:30 p.m. You will be rudely expelled from the house, there is only food!! We might have eaten something, but we would never set foot in this restaurant again. You don't need it!!! Great, only 1 table was occupied!! Absolutely no recommendation.

Finally a real (Italian) restaurant abroad, and not the classic restaurants with the "Bella Italia" sign and then you find very little of Italy. Prepared, kind and fast waiters, delicious dishes 🤩

Nach einer frittierten Vorspeise wagte ich eine Pizza nach Art des Pizzaiolo zu bestellen,leider war diese Pizza dann frittiert und ich habe es in meinem Magen nicht vertragen. Das hätte man berücksichtigen sollen aber sonst war es gut und angenehm vielen Dank für den Service.

Ich war schon ein paar Mal im Restaurant und immer toller Service und leckeres Essen, authentisches italienisches Essen und gute Atmosphäre. I totally recommend it !!

Sehr gute Pizza Calzone, frischer Salat und leckeres Dessert. Personal ist sehr flink und freundlich. Das Ambiete ist gefällig und nicht überladen. Leider aber etwas beengte Parkplatzsituation am Haus. Der Grundlärmpegel ist ähnlich "anstrengend", wie schon in früheren Zeiten in diesen Räumen. Normale Unterhaltungen am Tisch können bei vollem Haus etwas anstrengend werden...

Wir waren im Restaurant zu Gast, die Zimmer können somit nicht bewertet werden. Sehr leckere Speisen und sehr freundliches Personal. Eine Reservierung ist absolut sinnvoll. Trotz einer Vielzahl von Gästen, war die Wartezeit erstaunlich kurz. Lage am Ortsrand von Bad Säckingen, vom Zentrum aus ca 40 Minuten Fußweg.
