The food on the menu was good, but it wasn't a taste explosion. The food a la carte was exactly the same portion as in the menu. The price-performance ratio wasn't right here at all.
Excellent restaurant that we highly recommend! Originality, creativity, masterful preparation...a pure pleasure for the palate. We felt a little like we were eating in France. For lovers of fine cuisine, definitely worth a visit. Thank you
Delicious & fresh food in a small family-run business. We arrived a little early, so we had to wait 10 minutes for fresh meat (luckily we didn't get reheated meat 👍🏻)! Very nice people! Real layered meat, not a "minced" kebab like the trend in many kebab shops these days! Prices are normal, not as exorbitant as some other shops in Bad Säckingen, due to the price adjustments to accommodate Swiss shopping tourism! We paid €20 for a dürüm, a kebab box, and two drinks, which, in my experience, is normal in this region. So everything was top-notch!! We'd be happy to come back!
If you suffer from diarrhea for 2 days and want to use it as a diet, you should definitely visit this restaurant. I saw the people working in the kitchen and then I understood what they were about. They'll never be chefs. More like everything was frozen and thawed and not processed properly (hence half food poisoning) or grubby (there were brown spots on the apron). The service was nice, but didn't speak any real German. Didn't even ask why none of us ate more than half of it. Never again!
PS: My visit is from September! Every now and then I get requests from Google whether I would like to rate the place I visited ;) If a restaurant is good, I rate it accordingly. If you're already renovating, renovate your staff too!
The Asia Nguyen fast snack bar is an insider tip. I've been picking up food here for years. The food tastes very good, there's really nothing to complain about.
All the dishes we had were excellent, such as: Peking soup, spring rolls, wontons, duck dishes, etc.
The only negative point is that when there is a lot going on, the organization is not really good. I was there for 45 minutes to order food but unfortunately that wasn't possible because there was so much going on and it was disorganized. Then I drove home again. Happened twice in the years. Nevertheless, I can recommend it. My wish would be that they work a little on the organization so that things run more smoothly in the future when there is a lot going on.
There is more than enough parking space and it is free.
At first I thought the atmosphere was nice with the decoration... we wanted to use the gourmet block, which we immediately announced. According to this, you get 2 main courses for the price of 1 (the cheaper one or one of the same value is free). One restriction that was not mentioned was that it only applies to pasta or certain dishes. We wanted to order 2 meat dishes and only then were we told that it only applies to pasta dishes. Let's see what the publishers of Schlemmerblock think about this, you pay good money for this one too. Then we thought about leaving again or giving them a chance. So I took a chance and ordered something. 1 entrecote, which was streaked with flax and didn't blow your mind to justify the over €30 and a pasta dish, ravioli with ricotta and sage butter. The rest didn't sound all that tasty, the menu is a bit special. You won't find a normal spaghetti bolognese or carbonara. In any case, as others have already mentioned here, the portion was quite small and for €17.80... that was really cheeky.
Our complaint met with just as little interest as someone here has already reported. Conclusion: never again. There are better establishments in the gourmet block that deserve a visit more. There are no parking spaces that belong to the restaurant, so you have to look elsewhere or pay for a parking garage.
