Bistro Den-Vu in Bad Säckingen

If you suffer from diarrhea for two days and want to use it as a diet, you should definitely visit this restaurant. I saw the people working in the kitchen and then I understood why. They're definitely not chefs. More likely, everything was frozen and thawed and not prepared properly (hence the food poisoning) or dirty (there were brown stains on the apron). The waitress was nice, but didn't speak proper German. She didn't even ask why none of us ate more than half. Never again! PS: My visit was in September! I occasionally get requests from Google asking me to review the place I've visited ;) If a restaurant is good, I'll rate it accordingly. If you're renovating, renovate your staff too!

Excellent food, very nice atmosphere and a super nice waiter.

This is my second time here – everything is incredibly fresh and the service is super friendly. Exemplary! I will definitely come back.

Update 2026: Keep it up! Truly fantastic cuisine with incredible quality and sophisticated presentation. Consistently perfect, even after multiple visits. Update 2024: Nice place and very good food. I won't say more, otherwise the place will be packed again.
