I had dinner at Pasta König in Bad Säckingen and it was a great experience. I ate fresh pasta and the aniseed, meat, and Burgen. We were very happy.

We tried the Pasta König shortly after it moved from the Beck Arkaden to Munster Platz. Neither the starter nor the dessert were particularly impressive. Our main course was pasta, which was unfortunately a disappointment. Later, they advertised that they now also serve burgers. We then returned to try the burgers. Unfortunately, they weren't very tasty. In my opinion, the value for money just isn't there. Of course, the location by the cathedral in Bad Säckingen is very nice.

Absolutely terrible restaurant. Poor service, unfriendly staff, and they don't even answer the phone. I've been there several times, but now I've had enough. The food was good the first time, but after that, they didn't make any effort. The "Pasta King" for the salmon doesn't live up to its name. Ridiculous.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The wrong food twice. The staff was very unfriendly and unmotivated. After the first complaint, the response was, "I finish work in an hour, I don't care." The pasta wasn't al dente, but rather hard. Unfortunately, for me, that doesn't equate to pasta king, but rather pasta hell. We're here on vacation and would have preferred a friendlier server and tastier food. Of course, you can't always eat well everywhere. Very disappointing for the prices.

Horrible pasta. I don't understand the name "Pasta King." Whether it was spaghetti or rigatoni at my friend's. Our food was bland and the pasta was so doughy/raw (see photo) that neither of us could finish half. When we asked if we could order the pizza half and half, we were told to go inside and ask ourselves because he was only working for another hour and didn't want to get stressed with the boss. How have we ended up? I never realized that you couldn't order half and half, but apparently it's not possible here. It's a shame... if we'd known how bad the pasta was, we probably wouldn't have cared, because the pizza at the other tables looked really good. The service was also very unfriendly. We will definitely not be going here again.

We were very disappointed with our visit. In my spaghetti arrabbiata, I found a thick black hair hidden beneath the spaghetti – clearly not our own. When we politely complained, the service reacted in a completely inappropriate manner: Instead of apologizing, we were insulted and brazenly accused of having placed the hair in the plate ourselves. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional, but also disrespectful to guests. From a hygiene perspective, it's also an absolute no-go for a restaurant. Conclusion: We certainly won't be back and can't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Our visit to Pasta König was unfortunately mixed. We had to wait quite a while for both the food and the drinks. The spaghetti carbonara was disappointing: The pasta was still very hard, almost like raw play dough, and the sauce consisted almost entirely of cream – rather tasteless and lumpy. Even adding plenty of seasoning didn't help much. The service also had its ups and downs. While some employees were friendly, one waitress seemed rather rude and unattentive – which unfortunately somewhat dampened the overall impression. Overall, it was okay, but definitely had room for improvement.

Incredibly good! Delicious pizza bread, delicious homemade ravioli with porcini mushrooms, the best spaghetti Bolognese we've ever tasted, and our little one loved his burger! Upon request, chili and garlic oil were promptly added to our big boy's pizza! Nice and friendly! Thank you!!!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant. There was plastic in the sslat. The burger was missing the truffle mayo even though it said so on the menu. The table is extremely wobbly and should perhaps be replaced or repaired.

We arrived around 8:15 pm and, as far as the quality of the food is concerned, there is nothing to complain about: the pizza is really good and the meat is of excellent quality. However, there were some organizational issues that I would like to point out. First of all, making a reservation by phone was impossible, as it seems that the phone does not work. This is a serious inconvenience for customers. I had to write an email to request the availability of a table and make the reservation, which can discourage other customers, who are less inclined to take this additional step. Also, it would be a good idea to update the opening hours on Google. According to the information there, the restaurant closes at 10 pm, but when we arrived, we were told that it would close at 9 pm, which gave us the feeling of being in a hurry. I hope that the restaurant can improve these aspects, so as to make the customer experience as good as the excellent quality of the cuisine.

Great restaurant, high quality food, nice service. We were totally thrilled, we have rarely eaten such delicious Italian food in Germany. And the meat dishes were also very good. In addition, a great price-performance ratio and a nice, friendly and fast service. Absolutely recommended when visiting Bad Säckingen. What's also great is that it is one of the few restaurants that is open at lunchtime. We felt completely at home and will definitely come back on our next vacation!

We wanted to have dinner with our children at the Pasta King. Shortly after we sat down, our daughter wanted to look at the beautiful church. Afterwards we wanted to sit down at a table again. Out of nowhere, the waiter rushed towards us and chased us ahead. He spoke to us in a rude tone in front of our children. In short: No wonder that rum from pasta is king in the cellar!!

We went to "PastaKönig" twice because I wanted some really good pasta. The Carbonara has nothing to do with a Carbonara and tastes like a cheap ready-made cream sauce, as does the Gnocchi Gorgonzola. Never again.

I made 2 orders and both came wrong. Only the gentleman who worked there was okay, and there weren't that many guests. That's annoying. Otherwise ok. Ordered pizza with olives, pizza came empty and for my daughter I ordered pasta with tomato sauce, it was a bit undercooked and... with Bolognesse😏 We had to return it.

We went to Pasta König with our 16 month old son. The waiter was very unfriendly when serving us. We didn't feel comfortable at all. This restaurant is not child friendly. The one waitress who picked us up was always friendly. It's a shame that she didn't serve us, but rather the unfortunate waiter who simply took out his bad mood on us on a Saturday... The location right on Münsterplatz is beautiful and there is plenty of parking nearby. We'll definitely be back, even if the portions are difficult for older people to handle. The food was very good. Service friendly. However, when giving change, something happened that we had never experienced before. It was about one euro. The waiter didn't have any change and had to go back to the restaurant. He came back with a stack of cents. He said he couldn't have it any bigger. He could then keep the euro. He then went back into the restaurant and laughed with the other waiter. That's how you do it... Apparently he tipped too little. The invoice also does not match the order. Even though the food was good, we will never eat there again.

Hatte ein fantastisches Argentinisches Steak, mit super leckeren dicken Pommes dazu. Das Tiramisu als Nachtisch, war genial leicht und locker und dazu noch ne rechte Portion. Auch der Salat zu Beginn, war sehr frisch und mit einer hochwertigen Soße. Wenn man richtig gut essen gehen will, dann sollte man hierher kommen.

Einmal und nie wieder. Ewig auf Bedienung gewartet, Getränke vergessen, Essen vertauscht, Zahlung per Karte hat nicht funktioniert. Hatten einen sehr unaufmerksamen Kellner und eine sehr freundliche Bedienung, sonst gäbe es nur einen Stern. Die Auswahl ist auch verbesserungsfähig. 2023 und kein einziges veganes Gericht auf der Karte…

War heute hier essen , und ich muss sagende ein unfreundliches Personal hab ich schon lange nicht gesehen dafür hat das Essen gut geschmeckt und wurden die Teller auf den Tisch geworfen nicht nach Zufriedenheit geschaut und am Ende hat die Kellnerin sich sogar noch selbst Trinkgeld gegeben einfach eine bodenlose Frechheit was soll das war das letzte Mal in diesem etabliessement🙄🙄😢

Als wir am Sonntagabend dort essen waren hiess es schon beim Getränke bestellen sie haben keine Cola, Fanta und Spezi mehr. Haben dann Hauptgänge ohne Vorspeise bestellt, 1x Rigatoni mit Pesto und 1x Rigatoni Carbonara. Nach 35 Minuten warten kam der Kellner und teilte uns mit sie haben zu wenig Rigatoni um zwei Portionen zuzubereiten. Habe dann zu Tagliatelle gewechselt. Nochmals 15 Minuten später kam das Essen. Meine Tagliatelle waren nicht heiss und sehr fade, die Carbonara hatte überhaupt keinen Geschmack und mit Carbonara in meinen Augen nichts gemeinsam. Die Pesto war eher eine Rahmsauce mit etwas Pesto beigemischt was auch sehr speziell schmeckte. Alles in allem sind wir leider nicht sehr zufrieden obwohl das Restaurant eine sehr gute Lage hat. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen gehen das es unseren Geschmack von Pasta nicht trifft.

Essen war gut, Personal sehr unfreundlich und Unaufmerksam. Die Teller wurden uns hingeklatscht so als wenn man keine Lust auf Gäste hätte und man froh ist wenn man wieder geht. Es wurde nicht einmal gefragt ob alles recht ist oder ob man noch einen Wunsch hätte. Wir wollten aufgrund dessen kein Trinkgeld geben, die Kellnerin hat sich nach langem rumkramen im Geldbeutel - weil sie es wahrscheinlich nicht wahr haben wollte dass ich nicht aufgerundet habe - 10 Cent selbst als Trinkgeld genommen, die sie mir zu wenig rausgegeben hatte mit Absicht. Unverschämtheit einfach. Hier geh ich sicher nicht mehr essen!!

Leider wieder enttäuschend. Service zwar bemüht und freundlich, was aber nicht über die lieblose Zubereitung der Speisen hinwegtäuscht. Salat mit Lachs war eine Mogelpackung. Mehr als die Hälfte bestand aus billigem Eisbergsalat.

Wir haben uns eine Pizza Tunfisch bestellt leider war diese in der Mitte aufgeweicht Tunfisch war nur wenig vorhanden. Der Rand der Pizza zu breit. Des weiteren ist wahrscheinlich die Temperatur des Pizzaofen zu hoch, den an einigen Stellen war der Teig verbrannt (meine Vermutung)Der Preis für eine 0,5lit Flasche Wasser 4,50€finde ich viel zu hoch ist doch Wasser. Die Sterne sind für den Service.

Beim Bestellen der Speisen wurden wir bereits darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir lieber noch eine Vorspeise bestellen sollen, da es eine halbe bis Dreiviertel Stunde dauern kann aufgrund einer Gesellschaft. Schlussendlich kam das Essen nach einer Stunde. Trotz Verständnis für ein volles Lokal kann es nicht das Problem reservierender Kundschaft sein, wenn größere Tische reserviert sind. Service wirkte recht lieblos, eine weitere Servicekraft raucht vor den Gästen. Das Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt, jedoch für die nicht gerade günstigen Preise erwarte ich einen besseren Service.

Das Essen war absolut köstlich und von höchster Qualität. Die Pasta war perfekt al dente, die Pizza hatte einen knusprigen Rand und die Sauce war reich an Geschmack. Der Service war erstklassig - aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr professionell. Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und einladend, was den Abend noch angenehmer machte. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Das Restaurant ist super gelegen auf dem Münsterplatz in Bad Säckingen. Der Service jedoch lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Personal war recht unfreundlich und unaufmerksam. Einzig unsere Bestellungen wurden schnell (vielleicht auch zu schnell) geliefert. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Bruschetta und gemischten Salat. Bei der Bruschetta könnte etwas mehr Belag nicht schaden und bei dem Salat die Sauce ein bisschen verfeinern. Zum Hauptgang gab es Pizza, diese waren in Ordnung, jedoch nicht herausragend. Uns wurde gesagt es gäbe keine gelben Tomaten, was jedoch dann überraschend war als auf einer der beiden Pizzen dennoch welche drauf waren. Alles in allem veranlasst uns dazu nicht mehr Gast des Hauses zu werden.

Essen ist ganz ok, aber es gibt deutlich hochwertigere Qualität in Bad Säckingen. Der Service ist besser geworden. Die Lage ist top.

Die Lage ist perfekt am Münsterplatz in Bad Säckingen man kann sehr schön draussen sitzen und innen ist das Restaurant ansprechend eingerichtet.Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen und es so auch nicht stehen lassen. Wir waren mit unserer Familie dort zum grossen Familienessen es wurde von Fleisch über Pizza bis zu Nudeln und Salaten gemischt bestellt, und wir wurden nicht entäuscht. Alles war sehr lecker ;)und das schreibe ich,weil ich schon sämtliche Restaurants ausprobiert habe und wir mindestens 1mal die Woche auswärts essen gehen.Und nicht jedes Restaurant für gut oder sehr gut erachten ...

Die Pizzen sind sehr gut, die Pasta-Carbonara sehr fade der Fitnessteller okay. Für mich mehr Masse satt klasse!
