Margarethen Schlößle in Bad Säckingen

Ein toller Abend mit schön angerichtetem und sehr leckerem Essen und Trinken, der leider mit einem faden Beigeschmack beim Bezahlen endete. Nicht aufgrund der Höhe, sondern wegen der Tatsache, dass es immer noch Restaurants wie dieses gibt, die keine Kartenzahlung akzeptieren. Ein dreistelliger Betrag mühsam von allen Beteiligten bar zusammenkratzen zu müssen, lässt mich zumindest dort nicht mehr einkehren.

Nur ein Wort: fantastisch! Die Vorspeise war der Hammer, die Tagliatelle mit Steinpilzen fabelhaft und der Service tadellos und professionell. Der Kellner Davide war tadellos, gut gemacht, Kompliment! Und nicht zu vergessen der Koch, sehr gut! Meine Familie und ich waren rundum zufrieden, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir kamen um 13:15 Uhr im Restaurant an, und um 15:30 Uhr war erst die Vorspeise serviert worden. Das Essen war gut und schön angerichtet, aber diese lange Wartezeit ist wirklich übertrieben. Angesichts der recht hohen Preise erwarte ich nicht nur qualitativ hochwertige Speisen, sondern auch einen deutlich besseren Service. Es ist schade, denn die Qualität der Gerichte wird durch den so langsamen Service überschattet.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant spontan besucht. Das Mittagsmenü, welches zwischen 12.99 € und 16.99 € angeboten wird, beinhaltet eine Vorspeise, einen Hauptgang und ein Dessert. Alle Gerichte wurden frisch zubereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die fantastische Gemüsecremesuppe. Generell waren alle Speisen von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Die Pizzen waren knusprig und frisch belegt, ebenso wie die hausgemachten Pasta. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unübertroffen. Auch das Tiramisu war von Weltklasse. Wir freuen uns darauf, dieses Restaurant zum Mittagessen erneut zu besuchen.

Ok Restaurant an schöner Lage am Rande der Altstadt. Service war ok aber nichts spezielles. Das Essen war fein aber auch da, nichts spezielles (wir haben besser gegessen in andere Restaurants in der Nähe). Preise: leider teurer als die Konkurrenz. Aufgepasst: Man kann nur mit Bargeld zahlen. So weit in Bad Säckingen ist der einzige Restaurant den ich kenne, der keine Karten akzeptiert.

Eines der besten Restaurants und Pizzerien der Gegend! Das Essen ist himmlisch. Alle Gerichte sind köstlich, von den Vorspeisen über die Hauptgerichte bis hin zu den Pizzen, ganz zu schweigen von den Desserts ... einfach himmlisch! Für mich die Nummer eins.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Jedoch befindet sich alles in einem hohen Preissegment. Feldsalat mit Speck und Ei für 17€ ist nicht gerade ein Schnapper. Was mir leider erst später zu Hause aufgefallen ist , dass ein Zwangstrinkeld auf der Rechnung war. Dies ist in Deutschland rechtswidrig, da es sich bei Trinkgeld um eine freiwillige Leistung handelt. Das fand ich eine Unverschämtheit. Des weiteren konnte man nicht mit Karte bezahlen, das in der heutigen Zeit. Aus diesen Gründen werden wir nicht mehr diese Lokalität besuchen. Wir lassen uns nicht Abzocken.

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary yesterday at the Margaretenschlössle in Bad Säckingen and are simply thrilled! We were speechless as soon as we entered the hall – the decor was elegant, harmonious, and simply perfect, and the hall itself is beautiful and festive. The culinary experience was also a highlight: From the aperitif to the fresh pasta to the perfectly presented meat specialty – everything was not only a feast for the eyes, but also a dream in terms of taste. A huge compliment to Chef Mario, who absolutely delighted us and our guests with his cuisine. We would also like to particularly emphasize the professionalism and friendliness of the entire team. The three young gentlemen who looked after us attentively and warmly throughout the evening did a fantastic job. A heartfelt thank you also to the owners' daughter, who listened to all our wishes, implemented them perfectly, and even exceeded them. We are infinitely grateful for this special day and will wholeheartedly recommend the Margaretenschlössle. Grazie di hearte per questa serata indimenticabile – we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

First of all, don't follow Google Maps directly, just enter the street name into Google Maps, otherwise you'll end up at the customs office. The service was very attentive and friendly. I had a vegetarian pizza, which was a bit bland with the vegetables I chose (onions - delicious ☺️, zucchini, and eggplant... Hmm, something was missing... My husband had three kinds of pasta, and it was apparently delicious; the pasta is homemade. At the end, there was a limoncello, what more could you want.

We had a wonderful lunch at the Margarethen Schlössle. The garden was very pretty and cozy – a real homey place! It almost felt like a little vacation. Our dog was also welcome, which made us very happy. The food was typically Italian and simply delicious, and the staff was incredibly warm and attentive. The prices were also very fair. We'll definitely be back soon!

Very friendly and accommodating, we got a place even though we hadn't made a reservation. Delicious lunch menu at a very good price. Next time in Bad Säckingen we will visit our restaurant again.

We had a company outing and wanted to go for pizza in Bad Säckingen. We were so impressed by this restaurant and the friendliness of the owners and the food on offer that we didn't want to leave. There was food of the finest kind, prepared with a lot of love and ideas. We will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone who really wants to have a good meal.

Pizza wasn't particularly good, it tasted like a Turkish one, so it wasn't pizza made by an Italian. Desserts lovingly prepared. Ambience very nice. However, the server's daughter was unfriendly, arrogant, in a bad mood and...it was clear that she didn't love this job and unfortunately the guests sensed it. We were there twice and……. NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN. A NON RIVEDERCI PIÙ

We were in Bad Säckingen with a motorcycle group about 3 weeks ago. Our motorbike friend “Demis” knew the place and recommended that we eat there. We were immediately warmly welcomed by the boss and son and daughter. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared, especially the dessert was rich, well prepared and tasted excellent. The price for food and drinks is in the upper price segment, but the price-performance ratio is still okay. The restaurant is recommended if you want to enjoy something special, the service and the ambience are excellent. When we're back in Bad Säckingen, we'll be happy to come back!

Today we were at Margarethen Schlössle and I can only say that it exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The menu offers an excellent selection of traditional Italian dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. I tried the homemade Tris di Pasta and it was to die for with a delicious sauce that complemented the dish brilliantly. The staff was attentive, friendly and always had valuable tips about the dishes. In summary, I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We were passing through and visited this Italian restaurant and ate 2 pizzas. Can only recommend this restaurant. Everything is freshly prepared, which you can tell from the taste. Of all pizzarias, this one is now in first place. Food, service and ambience each have 5 stars. A return is guaranteed.

Die Teller waren schön gestaltet,doch die Vegetarische Pizza mit den verschiedenen Gemüse sorten lies zu wünschen übrig insgesamt an gemüse auf der Pizza waren Zwiebeln,Obergine und Zuckinis vorzufinden.Meine empfehlung wäre einbischen mit den Gemüse sorten zu varieren.

We recently stayed at the Margarethen Schlössle and received a very friendly welcome. We were shown the possible seats for 2 people and were allowed to choose freely. The menu came immediately and we were served very quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the food, everything came at perfect timing and tasted very good. Price/performance ratio is more than fair! The restaurant is modern and chic, you feel very comfortable. We would like to come again!

Good value for money, generous portions. We left the Margarethenschlössle happy and in high spirits, and we would love to come back. Thank you very much.

Ich kann dieses Resturant nur empfehlen. Das Essen war hervorragend. Vor allem die Pastavariationen waren schlicht weg der Hammer. Die Pasta wird hier selber gemacht-das spiegelt sich auch geschmacklich wieder. Die einzelnen Soßen zur der Pasta waren gut durchdacht und passten geschmacklich perfekt dazu. Das Dessert nach Art des Hauses kann man mit Worten gar nicht beschreiben (siehe Bilder) nur zwei Wörter: Hammer und Kalorien 😂. Hier bekommt man gute gehobene italienische Küche und fühlt sich Geschmacklich wie in Bella Italia. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wenn ich mal wieder nach Bad Säckingen kommen sollte, ist ein Besuch hier im „Schlößle „ definitiv ein muss.

Die restlichen Bediensteten haben ihr Metier überhaupt nicht im Griff. Sie schlendern zwischen den Tischen rum, sehen die Arbeit nicht. Ambiente: am Rande der Flaniermeile, gut gelegen.

Lecker aber leider sehr intransparente Preisgestaltung. Wir haben 5,50 Euro mehr gezahlt und uns sehr geärgert, dass wir nicht darüber aufgeklärt wurden, was mehr kostet (da es zum Mittagsmenü keine Karte gab, die auf Mehrkosten hingewiesen hat.)

Das Essen war für mich in Ordnung, aber mir hat es nicht besonders geschmeckt. Wir mussten ungefähr 20 Minuten warten, bis wir eine Speisekarte erhielten. Insgeamt mussten wir 50 Minuten warten, bis wir das Essen serviert bekamen. Das Vorspeisebesteck lage bis zur Rechnung auf dem eher kleineren Tisch, was ich unangenehm empfand. Positiv empfand ich, dass mir eine Servicmitarbeiterin von sich aus einen Löffel brachte, damit ich meine langen Pasta besser essen konnte. Das fand ich sehr aufmerksam.Eine Schulung für das Personal wäre sicherlich hilfreich und auch eine Weiterbildung für den Koch. Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

A friend of mine from Swiss recommended this restauranr. The food, starting from pizza, pastas and meat was very good. Salads fresh, very friendly and proffesional employees.The portions were big so you could freely split one in two. Prices are moderate, other than for deserts, almost the price of pizza. But even their portions are big so you can share it,

Apparently lead by italians the food is pretty authentic. Nevertheless one pasta dish we tried was veery al dente. And some of the personel lacked in friendliness. It was interesting anyway that it was very difficult to get a table for the evening. In short: in many restaurants in Italy the experience is way much better.

We arrived in Bad Säckingen looking for a place for lunch and were brought here by an enthusiastic local that we approached randomly on the street. There were two problems with our order (one of the pizzas we ordered normally came with an egg, we asked for it "ohne Ei" - es lag nicht an der Sprache - but it came with the egg. Also, besides wine, soft-drink and mineral water I asked clearly for a glass of tap water but they brought a small bottle of opened mineral water trucked in from Italy. We arrived just before their lunch closing so perhaps they focussed on their break (although it was also hard to get the bill). The food, however, was excellent. Two HUGE and delicious pizzas and a lovely seafood pasta very well prepared.
