Sehr unhöflich und unangenehm! ​Das Personal ist extrem unhöflich. Die Mitarbeiter starren weibliche Gäste ununterbrochen und auf eine sehr unangenehme Weise an. Man fühlt sich hier überhaupt nicht wohl oder sicher. Sie gaffen die Kunden regelrecht an wie Tiere. Absolut respektlos!

Wir waren unter der Woche Abends dort ohne Reservierung und haben gleich einen Tisch für 4 im Außenbereich bekommen, innen war aufgrund des schönen Wetters alles frei. Der Service war sehr gut, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war super und die Portionen groß. Die Preise für Speisen und Getränke sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Am Wochenende und zu Stoßzeiten kann eine Reservierung sicherlich sinnvoll sein. Das Fridolin ist in einer belebteren Seitengasse. Man kann sich gut unterhalten, es kommen auch immer viele Leute vorbei. Wir kommen gerne wieder im Winter und werden dann auf jeden Fall reservieren.

Unser absoluter Lieblingsort! 🍕✨ Wir kommen super oft mit der ganzen Familie hierher. Die Pizza ist phänomenal und unsere Kinder lieben sie einfach. Dazu kommt ein fantastischer, kinderfreundlicher Service, der immer gut gelaunt ist. Absolute Empfehlung für alle Pizzaliebhaber! Immer wieder gerne.

Wir kommen sehr gerne in das Restaurant Fridolin! Für uns ist dieser Italiener der beste in der Innenstadt. Authentisch italienisch! Beste italienische Zutaten auf der Pizza, toller Teig der unten knusprig ist und der Rand lecker weich bis knusprig. Nudeln habe ich erst einmal gegessen waren aber ebenfalls sehr lecker. Gerne teilen wir einen Salat vorweg, die Salatsoße schmeckt einfach Klasse! Dessert (Tiramisu) ist großzügig und liebevoll angerichtet und ebenfalls super lecker! Service: Man wird sehr aufmerksam bedient. Sehr sehr nett! Die Lage: in einer kleinen gemütlichen Gasse der netten Innenstadt von Bad Säckingen. Am richtigen Tisch mit Blick auf den Münster. Wir werden immer wieder kommen!

Edit: Leider ist die Qualität der Pizza in der Zwischenzeit (mehrere Testzeitpunkte) etwas schlechter geworden (ungewürzter?). Bei Bestellungen kurz nach Ladenöffnung erhielt wir desöfteren Pizzen mit angebrannten Böden. Original: Die beste Pizza die ich bislang in BS gegessen habe! Die einzelnen Zutaten auf der Pizza waren wirklich von guter Qualität und einzeln herauszuschmecken. Der (vmtl.) Besitzer war sehr zuvorkommend und charmant. Bestellung und Abholung ist möglich.

Wir haben einen tollen Abend mit vielen Freunden verbracht und wurden dabei sehr aufmerksam bewirtet.

Wir waren sehr spontan in der Stadt und entschieden uns für eine Pizzeria. Da hier viele Leute sassen, hofften wir auf gutes Essen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Pizze waren sehr lecker. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir direkt an einen freien Tisch geführt. Wir mussten relativ lange warten, bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten, dansch ging es aber sehr schnell, bis das Essen kam.

Ich war nur kurz auf der Durchreise und brauchte schnell etwas zu essen – ohne schwere Soßen oder komplizierte Gerichte. Habe einen einfachen Gemüsesalat bestellt: sehr frisch, gut kombiniert und geschmacklich wirklich top, auch ohne viel Schnickschnack. Die Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten war hervorragend – so lecker, dass man auf dem Foto nur noch die Reste sieht 😄 Schneller Service, angenehme Atmosphäre und sehr gute Küche. Klare Empfehlung – sowohl für ein schnelles Mittagessen als auch für einen entspannten Besuch.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen dort, hatten Essen bestellt sowie jeder ein Getränk. Das Essen war recht gut, der Service leider unterirdisch, denn wir sassen bald auf dem Trockenen, keine Nachfrage oder Interesse an weiteren Getränken seitens des Personals, sehr schade...

Tisch reserviert und via Mail bestätigt bekommen. Als wir dann ankamen, wusste man nichts mehr davon, hat die Schuld auf uns geschoben und wimmelte uns ab. Nie mehr wieder!

Das Essen war super, aber das Hauptargument für mich war das Ambiente. Das Restaurant ist extrem idyllisch eingerichtet und lässt einen richtig wohlfühlen. Gehört sicher zu meiner engeren Auswahl, was Italiener angeht.

We wanted to reserve a table for 15 people. Our Christmas party was supposed to take place on Monday. Like last year, we chose Pizzeria Fridolin because, unfortunately, not many restaurants in Bad Säckingen are open on Mondays. However, that doesn't mean we have to put up with everything. We didn't want to be crammed into the back and would have preferred to sit in the front. This was politely declined. But what happened next was the last straw. The comment that three people shouldn't share a pizza was simply disrespectful. Especially since no one in our group shared anything at all last year. They're just making assumptions. That's unacceptable. Perhaps they should consider charging a surcharge for such guests. No one in our group will be going there again. We're celebrating at Fährmann in Bad Säckingen now. And we're happy to be sitting at a table. Iris

Friendly welcome, watery and over-salted tomato soup, lasagna; where was the lasagna in that tomato sauce? The main thing was cheese... What a shame...

Big disappointment! This wasn't our first time at Ristorante Fridolin. We've often visited the Fridolin whenever our travels and wanderlust took us to Bad Säckingen. This time, we apparently caught the "owner" off guard. Because we had a late breakfast that day, we only wanted something "small" for lunch. My wife very politely asked the "boss" if it were possible to share a pizza. The "boss," who usually showed a friendly attitude toward larger orders with wine, replied: "What can I say? I can't say NO!" Yes, he should have said a kind "NO." Instead, he clenched his fist, wore a grim expression, and took our order in a rather "dissatisfied and rude" manner, with the offended remark: "But there's only one plate!" Okay, we thought, that's where modern service at Fridolin is headed! I was tempted to say, "But we get two knives and two forks?!" Well, when we ordered two more glasses of wine, he wasn't quite so dismissive. Perhaps, we hoped, he briefly regretted his grumpy appearance. But he didn't apologize. Then the pizza arrived: "Carelessly stacked" on top were the overly thickly sliced ​​ham slices; they didn't look quite as fresh and felt rubbery in the mouth. Conclusion: The worst pizza in a long time! So, not only did we experience a frustrated "boss," but unfortunately, we also "enjoyed" a pizza that didn't deserve that name, at least not on that day. And to bring things to a close: this was the last time we visited Fridolin. Our well-intentioned advice: "Dear owner, return to a polite host, to friendly service, and significantly better pizza quality. A bit of forward-thinking wouldn't be out of place; Namely, that you and your team will only achieve lasting success if you show respect and treat your guests politely...even if they don't immediately order an appetizer, pizza, a bottle of wine with coffee, and dessert. In our case, you unfortunately acted completely unluckily and lost two guests forever. You can now say, as you did with another bad review: "I sold enough pizzas; 50, 100 (or a thousand?) and claim people are still coming in droves"...and they certainly don't need us, etc., etc. - yes, that's all possible. But if you continue to alienate your guests like this, treat them so rudely, then things aren't looking good.

I came here to pick up food. The manager was super nice. I only had to wait 10 minutes after ordering, and I got a free drink during that time. I'd definitely go back.

I was waiting at the reception desk to get a seat. A few minutes after me, two women arrived who, like me, also didn't have a reservation. He assigned them the last table and told me that everything was taken. As a single person, I was simply skipped. It's a shame that queueing isn't done in order of priority.

AVOID THIS AT ALL EVENT!! I've never seen such a rude, unprofessional, and narrow-minded owner as this one. Always complaining like a know-it-all, ruining the nice atmosphere. And if I starve, I won't eat there again. I took a chair, but he didn't like it. The stroller wasn't allowed in. Everything is forbidden. A real grump!! I hope the owner changes; the current one really has no control over it.

For many years, St. Fridolin was my number 2 in Bad Säckingen for Italian cuisine. It has the best Al Capone pizza for miles around. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my last visit. Rising prices and smaller or lower quality portions is nothing new these days and cannot be blamed on the restaurant. Service and ambience were excellent as always; Keller always wants to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay. Drinks were served quickly and were top quality. My shrimp salad was drowned in sauce with carelessly large leaves and two strips of bell pepper. The fresh bread was clearly the highlight here. My former favorite, Al Capone pizza, was unfortunately only average and the spaghetti carbonara was nothing more than solid.

The food was great; we had spaghetti with king prawns, which truly deserved the name, in a fresh tomato and garlic sauce, and a pizza with salami, onions, and mozzarella. The server was very friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quite quickly.

4 stars plus because it was a spontaneous decision to order a lunch menu here. We started with a salad, followed by tagliatelle with fresh vegetables, which was very good. Finally, the warm apple fritter with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was a truly positive surprise. Congratulations to the kitchen and the friendly waiter. Top value for money!

We went for dinner the other day and loved it. It has a very pleasant terrace. The service was fast and attentive, and we loved the food, especially the pizza and pasta, although the cordon bleu was also very good. The prices are quite affordable, so I highly recommend it.

That this place was supposed to be a restaurant wasn't obvious then, and it isn't now, even when the owner texts me, "Shut up..." It's a shame for the city that such an establishment occupies such a beautiful place.

The audacity is unmatched! Saturday evening; a table was reserved for three people. At first, we had a big argument with the owner because the third person was arriving later. He asked us to move to a table for two. When we decided to stay at the table for four, he threatened us with an additional charge of €30 if the third person didn't show up. He also said he wasn't willing to serve drinks for just one person. We left the pizzeria. We've never experienced anything so rude and unfriendly!

Nice, small pizzeria in the middle of Bad Säckingen, located in the immediate vicinity of the old wooden bridge. The staff is very friendly and the size of the restaurant is pleasant. The food is good and the prices are pleasantly moderate, although in Säckingen they are otherwise too expensive for my taste due to its proximity to Switzerland.
