A true gem, just around the corner from Nymphenburg Palace. The attentiveness and charm of the service are unparalleled, the dishes are creative and beautifully presented, without denying their roots in classic Italian cuisine. The ideal place for special occasions, from dates to birthday parties.

We visited Ristorante Risotto on a recommendation and were delighted. Great service, lovely atmosphere, but above all, incredibly delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

Tiny little Italian spot with some really sweet and funny people working there who provide a very charming experience. Many of the staff are actually Italian and you can taste the authenticity in the food.

Fabulous place to enjoy dinner and drinks with the family

We stumbled on this place after touring the nearby palace (Nymphenburg Palace). Traveling with kids: we were hungry after a lot of walking and went looking for non-German food. Italian it was! Caught them right as they were opening and the staff treated us just like family: took care of my picky daughter and my son’s nut allergy while delivering more than what was expected or promised. I highly recommend! Try the daily specials. Daily drinks are worth a taste as well.

I don't think I'll ever forget the starter we had: eggplants, tomatoes, basil etc. Super simple, super delicious. All the flavours came out clearly, and at the same time merged into a higher unity. The atmosphere is very cosy, and a bit teasing in a good way. The only thing that let it down was the bread, which didn't feel authentically Italian like everything else did.

Service was really really great, David was exceptionally nice. 😍 He went above and beyond, he made us feel so welcome , treating the child who was with us with such kindness - we absolutely loved it here and we will definitely be back for the great atmosphere. Thank you so much!

Excellent place. We had two risottos (seafood and shrimp and asparagus). Both were delicious. The staff was truly attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely and well-kept.

Very attentive service, we had a good time

The bruschetta looked good, but the tomatoes were a bit too sour. Perhaps dressed with too much vinegar. The main course, sea bream, was partly very good (the fish), but partly disappointing: the market vegetables were well seasoned, but unfortunately cooked completely soft. Personally, I prefer it with a slight bite. This softness makes it more suitable for catering in a nursing home...

Tired after three days of eating pork shanks, sausages, potatoes, and sauerkraut, we remembered watching the episode of Little Big Italy where the restaurant won! What can I say? Everything was truly excellent: exquisite food, superb desserts, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back, thank you all! 😀

We were here for lunch a few days ago and were delighted. The server was very attentive and made a real effort to accommodate our requests. They particularly appreciated the consideration given to my brother's special needs, who suffers from celiac disease. They cooked extra rice for him and even served him special bread. Overall, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. While the restaurant is a bit too close to the castle and therefore perhaps a bit more expensive, the quality and service are definitely worth it. We were there at 1 p.m. and were practically alone; we were served lightning fast.

We went to Risotto for the first time today with friends. Very friendly staff, a pleasantly concise menu, and a pleasant atmosphere. The pineapple and pasta were delicious, and the rib-eye steak was also very good. We really enjoyed it and would gladly return.

High-quality food; I was amazed by the quality and the search for interesting and rarely seen pairings. The goat cheese with watermelon is exceptional. The savory cheesecake with tuna tartare is very good. Beyond the quality of the food and the presentation, the icing on the cake is the hospitality. Italians, attentive to their customers, and extremely attentive to families with small children because they have them too. Our girls were pampered in every way. Exceptional, incredible. Well done. P.S.: It's not cheap, but it's Monaco, the food is excellent, so the value is fair.

Beautiful restaurant with great service. The food was good, but still had potential for improvement. I had pasta with truffles, which tasted very good, but the pasta really needed another minute; it was way too firm for me. The millefeuille was unfortunately a bit dry. But overall, all of this is just complaining at a high level.

If you're in Munich and want to try an authentic Italian restaurant, you can't miss this: fresh ingredients, gourmet recipes, and flavors that took me back to my homeland, Italy! The risotto is absolutely the best I've ever had, as is the octopus. The desserts are also a must-try, especially the tiramisu and especially the Sicilian cannoli flan. A special mention also goes to Davide and the entire staff: they've made this place a gem and a magical place, and made my family and I feel at home. You won't feel homesick here!

Simply Phenomenal Italian! This Italian restaurant is truly amazing! The fact that it's attended by the owners themselves makes all the difference – these Italian gentlemen were fantastic! The customer service was beyond outstanding, truly exceptional. And the food? Absolutely delicious! It's clear they genuinely know what they are doing, from the warm welcome to every exquisite dish. I highly recommend this place for an authentic and wonderful dining experience!

The truffle pasta was really delicious… The aroma was really crazy and the sauce was just the right amount of thick, which was nice. They also give you bread before the meal~ The pizza was also crispy at the end and the dough was just the right thickness! I was thankful that they said we could order with a picture, considering that we are foreigners! I want to go there again if I visit Munich again. +) And the staff at the bar(?) was really handsome… He’s a smiling angel..👍👍

Sono andato con la famiglia in questo ristorante ed è stata una bellissima esperienza. Una cucina italiana (siciliana) di alto livello a Monaco di Baviera. Sono rimasto molto colpito dalla cura dei particolari dei camerieri e dalla professionalità espressa dal titolare con molta simpatia. Abbiamo preso degli antipasti veramente ottimi (la burrata e le panelle erano deliziose) ma i primi erano favolosi. Tra tutti spiccavano i tagliolini al tartufo bianco con parmigiano e aggiunta di tartufo nero. Abbiamo preso anche il risotto ai gamberetti e asparagi bianchi, paccheri ai gamberetti e zucchine e pasta alla norma. Erano tutti buonissimi. La qualità della cucina, la professionalità e la simpatia del titolare sono una garanzia per una esperienza culinaria piacevolissima. Di sicuro vale la pena tornarci e sicuramente è da consigliare a chi ama la buona cucina. Ah dimenticavo, per completare la cena non potevano mancare i cannoli siciliani. Una vera delizia per il palato.

Just a short walk from the Nymphenburg Palace, this place is incredible. We stopped for a late lunch and had a meal my husband is still dreaming about. I wanted to order the entire menu but we settled on Saffron Rissoto and Fettuccine with truffles and Alfredo. The service was fantastic, the wine crisp and cold on a hot day. Amazing. Would drive back across the city to eat here again if we were staying longer.

A cozy restaurant within walking distance of Nymphenburg Palace. We were able to change the lunch risotto to a vegetarian version, and the risotto was very good! It also came with a salad and delicious rolls. There was plenty of space to sit outside and the parasols and tree foliage provided good protection from the sun on a warm summer day. The service was very friendly. I can warmly recommend this restaurant as a lunch spot, for example at the end of a visit to Nymphenburg Palace.

Sometimes a casual remark backfires. We were a bit irritated that the menu didn't match the one on the website. Possibly due to the trade fair situation. We probably would have chosen a different restaurant otherwise. The wine recommendation was very good. The risotto was average.

A culinary highlight in Munich – with heart and humor! My husband and I discovered Ristorante Risotto during our visit to Munich – and we were absolutely thrilled! The appetizer, a superbly seasoned beef tartare, was a true taste experience. The risotto as the main course was also fantastic – cooked to perfection, creamy, aromatic, and simply delicious. The wine selection was also top-notch – perfectly matched and lovingly recommended. What really made this evening special, however, was the warm and humorous service. The chef himself and the waiter who served us were not only attentive and friendly, but also created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with their charming manner. People kept coming by, asking if everything was okay, bringing us fresh bread, salt, or simply a smile. The ambiance is cozy and tasteful – despite the location on a quiet street, you immediately feel at home and can enjoy your meal in peace and quiet. Ristorante Risotto boasts a truly beautiful outdoor seating area in the summer – sitting outside is a real highlight. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The staff was also consistently friendly and attentive, albeit a bit overwhelmed. We had to wait quite a while for our food, and unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't live up to our expectations. Everything tasted rather average, but it was quite expensive – the value for money isn't right in our opinion. Overall, a nice place for a glass of wine outdoors, but those who value good food will probably be disappointed here.

The restaurant is quite small. We were there with children. We had a great time there. The waiter is really nice and friendly. The food was delicious! I recommend to make the reservation in advance. Only the downside is to find a parking space. Other than that is amazing. We definitely will come back!

This was a hidden gem. Authentic Italian near the Nymphenburg Palace. We were starving and decided on this place. Waiter was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had a Spanish speaker with us and they took the time to try to communicate with him and make him feel welcome. They were able to accommodate our group of 6 and we all agreed that our food was delicious. The only downside to this restaurant was the price. My husband's pizza was €19 and my risotto was €18. We also each got two drinks so our total came to be about €64. There are cheaper things on the menu that range between €12-15 though. You are definitely paying for quality here. Either way, I would go back for a nice night out.
