Royal Cookhouse Pizzeria in München

I love this place, it is just perfect

The restaurant itself is pretty nice. The staff is friendly, but for those who want to eat or try authentic Georgian dishes, it's probably not the place. We ordered khachapuri, an eggplant appetizer and a Georgian salad. The khachapuri dough was very good, but the filling was not the same as the original - it was too salty, and the cheese used was not what is usually used for it. The eggplant starter and the salad didn't really taste good either. My husband wasn't happy with his cocktail either. The cocktail was not prepared correctly: there was too much syrup and hardly any alcohol. In addition, the protein that belongs in an Amaretto Sour was missing.

Small, cute shop with a cozy atmosphere and few seats - perfect for enjoying in peace. The food was fresh and delicious, and the owners and team were very friendly. As a newbie to Georgian cuisine, I was thrilled! Will definitely come back and recommend :)

The food is super tasty, but €22 for an ananuri that is the size of half a pizza and has a very thick crust is outrageous. That wasn't the case last year.

My husband and I really enjoyed the Royal Cookhouse. The food was incredibly delicious and you will find the friendliest service in the whole city here.

We celebrated our son's birthday in this cozy restaurant. Wonderful and very friendly staff. Excellent Georgian snacks and one of the most delicious pizzas only available in this restaurant. I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant.

Very cozy and familiar atmosphere. The staff were very warm and friendly. We ate appetizers, pizza and a dessert and all I can say about everything is phenomenal! Interesting combination with the different specialties. The map makes you want to visit again. Will definitely come back with the whole family. You just feel comfortable there.

Disappointing after the good reviews. I had a simple salami pizza that was delicious to look at. Unfortunately, the consistency was mushy and greasy, and I don't particularly appreciate the former when it comes to pizza. The taste of the pizza was also unremarkable, which can be better with some frozen pizzas. In this respect: disappointing.

Extremely delicious food, we had starters and main courses. Everything was excellent and delicious. Unfortunately, the location is on a main street, which is why there are deductions in the ambience, but otherwise everything is excellent.

Pizzeria with authentic taste! Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family. The staff is friendly and attentive, so you feel comfortable right from the start. The pizzas are simply sensational! The dough is wonderfully thin and the toppings are fresh The price-performance ratio is great. If you're looking for a great restaurant, you definitely won't be disappointed here. I can highly recommend this pizzeria and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Pizza’s were very tasty, a bit thin crust but still good. The only thing I didn’t like was diluted mangosaft with ~40% of water.

The food is delicious. There are pizzas with unusual combinations (e.g. with burrata and pistachio pesto) and Georgian specialties. The Khachapuri was very good - I can only recommend it. The only criticism: we had to wait quite a long time for our food (60 minutes) even though it wasn't particularly busy. But the delicious food made us up again :)

Excellent pizzeria restaurant with Georgian specialties in a very quiet area of ​​Munich. It is also a very good idea to order Georgian tarragon or pear soft drinks from the Zedazeny brand. It's a good idea to give this restaurant a chance, you won't regret it.

I called to make same-day reservation and the conversation was easy, efficient and pleasant. In the restaurant we addressed waitress in English and she was speaking fluently with us. Which is not that common in Munich. Music and atmosphere were pleasant. Food selection is good and they had tasty vegetarian khinkali with mushrooms and they made a non-alcoholic cocktail: virgin Hugo. Note: only cash payments are possible here.

Fantastic food. We tried the special Georgian pizza , which can't really recall the name, and the meat stuffed steam cooked dough (sorry again for not recalling the name). Both were excellent, good service , relaxed atmosphere. Only thing is that the place is small, so reservations are a must. Will definitely come back there, pizza dough was amazing , beating my top 3 in MUC. Kudos for the service too! Fast, dedicated and passionate (id guess we were served by the owner tbh )

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Royal Cookhouse, and I must say, the experience was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff , I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The food was Italian and Georgian specialities….. I must say it was delicious! I highly recommend this business. From now and on your loyal costumer.

Lovely hosts, seems to be a family business. We came here to hopefully find a good Georgian place and we did. All dishes were worth it. The meat in the Khinkali could have been filled a little looser, more meaty, but that’s the only criticism I can come up with. You can’t miss the Khajapuri - the dough was so good it’s the reason to return and try their pizzas too. Good beer too.

The restaurant was occupied by one table, but we were politely asked to leave (because the location was DOUBLE OVERBOOKED.) Some restaurateurs are already fed up... It should be mentioned that our journey took 45 minutes! We definitely won't be entering this store again! And neither do our friends!!! The store doesn't even have its own parking spaces for guests - if you find something on a side street you'll pay typical Munich parking prices. We then went to Napoli Rush (Theresienstr. 156) and the pizzas and especially the service were great as always!!!

Brilliant combination of Georgian and Italian cuisine. We first tried the mixed appetizer platter and the dumplings. Both very tasty. Then came the highlight of the day: Khajapuri - a kind of pizza bread with cheese filling. Incredibly good! We also shared a Royal Pizza with salsiccia. One of the best pizzas in Munich. Service was very friendly, even though there was a lot to do. Absolute recommendation.

WOW, we had the most wonderful evening ever yesterday. Starting with the heavenly Georgian and Italian food, to the white wine (Pecorino!!), the best advice, the music, the atmosphere in the restaurant, a homemade raki on the house at the end... one of the sisters makes everything herself and you can clearly taste it! ! One of the best neapolitan pizza in Munich

Die beiden Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist auch toll und entspannt. Wir hatten die Dumplings als Vorspeise und die waren sehr gut (sind auch anscheinend hausgemacht). Die Pizzen haben uns aber leider überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die Nachspeise war auch einfach nur süß.

Sehr leckere georgische Vorspeisen, an denen man sich satt essen kann. Eine Empfehlung sind die Khinkali!

Wir waren Sonntag Abend da und gerade in der kalten Jahreszeit ist reservieren Pflicht, da es innen nicht sehr viele Tische gibt. Wir wurden super nett begrüßt und haben als Vorspeise Tirokroketes (georgische Käsebällchen) und als Hauptgerichte Pizza Prosciutto und Pizza Mortazza mit Pistazienpesto und Burrata bestellt. Alles hat gut geschmeckt, aber trotzdem haben wir beide die Pizza nicht ganz geschafft. Der Rest wurde netterweise eingepackt. Uns hat es gut gefallen und beim nächsten Mal probieren wir dann auch im Hauptgang mal die georgischen Spezialitäten. 😉

Best Georgian food ever! The Khengali is soo juicy and tasty! Everything was so so delicious! Also, it is a very clean place with very nice atmosphere :) The ladies working there were very kind. I left full and happy :) I haven’t tried their pizzas but they looked amazing. I recommend to everyone who wants tasty food that is like homemade ❤️

Great Italian pizzeria with three Georgian dishes: the dumplings (Khinkali), the egg-cheese-butter pizza (Khajapuri) and a Khajapuri with meat and onions. It is a must visit for dough lovers. The Khajapuri is on another level and so are the pizzas. Everything is cooked to perfection. Waitresses are very nice and friendly, speak many languages and are happy to inform you how to best enjoy each meal. The place is on the small side, reservation is a plus. Walk-ins are also fine but may end up sitting outside.

Wunderbare georgische Gerichte in Kombination mit der perfekten Pizza, dazu ein aufmerksamer und liebevoller Service. Wir waren schon zweimal da und kommen wieder....
