While the place is nice, and the products they use are good, i think it was overrated. The portions are small and too expensive. And the menu does not have too many options.

Small, fine location with very nice service and great tasting dishes. We were very impressed with the cuisine and hosts on both of our visits and look forward to coming back more often!

I'm not there often (unfortunately), but at least every now and then. Today it was that time again. And we ate incredibly well again. Sophisticated down to the smallest detail. The unusual herbs from your own loft bed in the wonderful courtyard. No ingredient is just there. Everything is deliberately selected. Every spice is well thought out. Every dish is harmoniously and exceptionally composed. If you want to pamper yourself and your palate, this is the right place for you. You can tell that the owners Steffi and Johannes love their job. Everything is rounded off by employees who also enjoy working in service. Where else can you find such a feel-good atmosphere? Congratulations!

Great service and always exciting plates. I can also highly recommend the cinnamon rolls ;). Tip - Thursday evening you can enjoy 2-5 courses here in a cozy atmosphere. In summer the courtyard is also very beautiful. An absolute enrichment for the Westend!

Unfortunately, I cannot give zero stars, otherwise I would. The food is awful, long waiting time as well as ignorance service. Got no idea, why that terrible place got such a good rating🤷🏼

Wir kamen pünktlich dort an und hatten reserviert. - dann standen wir erstmal fast 10 Minuten auf der Straße und sollten warten. Die Bedienung kümmerte sich nicht um einen Tisch. Inzwischen kamen andere Leute und wurden sofort zu einem Tisch geführt. Wir haben uns dann immer wieder mal gemeldet, bis wir dann endlich zu einem Tisch geführt worden. - dort saßen wir über 20 Minuten, es wurde uns keine Karte gebracht, es wurde nicht nachgefragt. Erst als wir, obwohl wir mehrfach Blickkontakt mit den Bedienungen hatten, um eine Karte baten, wurde sie uns gebracht mit dem Hinweis dass es nur noch ein Käsesandwich gäbe und Zimtnudeln, alles andere waere aus.Worauf wir anmerkten, dass wir das gerne eine halbe Stunde vorher gewusst hätten, weil wir dann direkt gegangen wären. Leider keine Entschuldigung um von Seiten des Restaurants. Vielleicht muss man sich hier nicht mehr um seine Gäste bemühen! Ich kann nur sagen - geht woanders hin. Eigentlich sollte man Minuspunkte

We got there on time and had reservations. - then we stood on the street for almost 10 minutes and had to wait. The waitress didn't take care of a table. Meanwhile other people arrived and were immediately shown to a table. We kept checking in until we were finally shown to a table. - There were over 20 of us sitting there Minutes, no card was brought to us, no questions were asked. Only when we asked for a menu, despite having made eye contact with the waitress several times, was it brought to us with the information that there was only a cheese sandwich and cinnamon noodles, everything else was out. To which we said that we would like half a sandwich If we had known about it an hour in advance, we would have left straight away. Unfortunately no apology from the restaurant. Maybe you don't have to worry about your guests here anymore! All I can say is - go somewhere else. Actually you should give minus stars.

That’s a hidden gem. I randomly found about this place while checking the neighborhood on Google Maps. It’s a real dining experience with a great price / value ratio. Me and my wife shared 3 dishes and all three were superb and not a regular boring dish you could find somewhere else. We paid under 80 eur for 3 dishes + water and it’s a fine dining food quality level.

Everything here is cozy, tasty and friendly from start to finish. We were there for dinner (only on Thursdays). Service very good and not intrusive, but always there if you need something. The food tasted very good and the selection of open wines was also excellent. Absolutely recommended and very good value for money. Definitely keep it up.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Munich! Food at star level in a relaxed atmosphere and the nicest staff. That's why we decided to celebrate our civil wedding with Josch and Steffi - and we couldn't have wished for a better evening! Big heartfelt recommendation!

I was passing by and wanted just to buy a coffee,but it turned out that it was a whole restaurant behind a stand. I ended up having a full breakfast at this place. The only thing I wish was different about this place is that it opened earlier:). The cappuccino was amazing, had two cups. And the avocado bread with soft boiled egg was delicious, one of the best that I had.

Delicious! Not exactly cheap, but we knew that beforehand and it was justified for the quality. Would love to come back.

What a gem!!! It’s my 3rd time to enjoy their fabulous lunch (was there last week), and I can’t wait to go back again later this week. Food was excellent, service was great (they speak English!!!), and the price - I cannot believe the value. My stomach only allows me to have their 3 course lunch menu, but boy do I wish to starve myself for a few days so I could do their 4 course! The quality of their food (and presentation may I add) is superb, especially compared to the price they charge (I know, I’m repeating myself but I am blown away). I dare say it’s the best fine dining experience in Munich, minus the pretentiousness and price tag. Bravo!!! Hats off to the chief, and thank you so much for everything.

I was here on Saturday morning for breakfast with my husband and daughter. The only thing that I can say for sure about this place is overestimated. We reserved a table in advance and were expecting great breakfast (seeing so many wonderful reviews). We got our table very soon and the people were all very nice, but that's where all the positives ended. The choice of food consisted of 2 options only, the patio was small and overcrowded, surrounded by a brick wall (so I did not feel myself relaxed, but very cramped and uncomfortable, like in a stone well). It took them more than half an hour to bring food (and we were with a hungry child). The quality of the ingredients was good, but the taste of the dishes was very average, in my opinion, not at all worth the price. I don't think I will come here again at the nearest future, though the staff seemed great, but they have a loooooot of room to grow.

Phenomenal food and great service, almost meditative to watch the cooking magicians prepare the food, and it not only looks beautiful but tastes wonderful. By the way, you can also see how you can manage to feed 30 people with a sustainable 5-course menu and not make the small kitchen look like a bomb has hit. The crew had everything under control

Food tasty and quality good. But my portion didn't even correspond to the amount of a starter and it was too expensive! So quite disappointed.

Really worth a visit if you're in Munich. The restaurant is small so it's advised to make a reservation. We didn't, but they saw that we really wanted to eat there and made an effort to find us a place at the bar. The chef Josch explained thoroughly the menu and all the dishes when they were served to us. Very good food and nice experience overall. I really recommend it!

An absolutely great restaurant in Munich. Very small with an extremely fine kitchen. You can have small 3-6 courses or just individual dishes. The quality is extraordinary and so is the creativity. We also received an extremely friendly welcome. I would be very happy to come back. It was so good that I actually forgot to take photos!

The breakfast was really delicious and something new. However, I found the portion of the bagel a bit small for the price (€17) and would have been happy with a larger portion because it really tasted fantastic. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit to Munich!

Oyster top. Shrimp so on point and already garnished. Chicken was ok, the side dishes were stronger for my taste. And the cheesecake cream was simply divine! Service very friendly and personable and relaxed. Ambience very good. You sit close but still have your own space.

Wir waren nun schon öfter zum Frühstück bzw Brunch dort und waren noch nie enttäuscht. Im Gegenteil; das Team ist immer sehr freundlich, auch wenn es am Wochenende stressig wird und die Gerichte sind jedes Mal top. Es gibt eine gute Auwahl an veganen und vegetarischen Optionen neben fleischhaltigen Gerichten, alles fokussiert auf Qualität dank Regionalität und Saisonalität. Die Terrasse im Innenhof ist im Sommer ein Traum, aber auch innen ist es sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Einzig der Kaffee ist (für mich) nicht perfekt, aber es ist eben kein Specialty Coffee Cafe und daher erwarte ich das auch nicht. Wir kommen immer wieder :)

What an enrichment for our district, the Westend!!! If you like something great on your plate, this is the place for you. Anyone who appreciates quality in glass is in good hands here. The wines on the regular menu are great!!! But it's always worth asking what other drops Steffi has in her cellar! Have fun!

Elevated and creative, but not pretentious - a great experience all around! The food is perfectly balanced, the set menu is very generous - we had three course and shared an additional dish between two people and it was perfect. The staff speaks perfect English if your German does not quite cover all of the inventive ingredients on the menu :)

Great shop with delicious food. The staff gave us a very friendly welcome and were able to provide detailed information about each of the dishes on offer. Allergies could also be taken into account and the food could be changed. The portions were too small for me, but I don't want to deduct a star because of that. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, prepared with great attention to detail. Great! We will be back!

The best party of my life! I celebrated my birthday here. Everything was perfect from the start! The reception in the evening was super friendly and we immediately felt comfortable and at home. The tables were lined up to form a long table, beautifully set and decorated. At the beginning there was an aperitif (both the Cremant and the non-alcoholic Secco were very good) and delicious sandwiches. What sounds so inconspicuous was actually real delicacies! Afterwards there was a 5-course meal that was incredibly delicious. Plus very good wines. There were always enough breaks in between for conversations, speeches, gift giving, etc. The staff were reserved and at the same time super attentive: they had all the special requests in mind, you were never left high and dry, they were very friendly but not intrusive. Basically, it was the perfect “kitchen party.” The room was not too big and not too small for the 20 guests, no odors despite the open kitchen, the background noise wasn't too loud, great music in the background and it was impressive to watch the team prepare the dishes. And the best of all: I didn't have to prepare anything or clean up ;-) I would like to expressly thank the culinary team again for this extraordinary and perfect evening. All of my guests were blown away and now say that it was a highlight of the last year for them! THANKS!

Super schön, sehr aufmerksames personal

I had a high expectation excuse the rating is really high on Google map. We ordered pasta and Piadina Romagnola and for us they both tasted just ordinary. The pasta was slightly on the salty side to my taste just like any other pasta served in Germany. But the atmosphere of the place is so cosy and warm. All the staff are very casual, down to earth and friendly. It looks like it’s a small place but it spreads virtually inside and has got a nice inner court. I would like to come back here to try other things.

The cinnamon buns are beyond anything, great eggs Benedict, extremely courteous and caring staff. We really had a great experience and I can highly recommend. For sure one of the best places to have breakfast in Munich. Restaurants like this, especially with such exceptional staff, make your day.

This place is an absolute gem, we went only during Saturday's breakfast so I can't review the dinner. The dishes may sound simple (grilled cheese, eggs benedict and such) but it's made to perfection with minor twists that simply elevate the dishes beyond the norm such as a bit of lemon zest on the egg benedict pouched eggs and the amazing mangold sauce on the bread. Highly recommended although not cheap.

Es war alles rundum hervorragend. Bevorzugt regionale Speisen auf die Saison bezogen. Sehr gutes Angebot an Weinen.

Zum ersten Mal besucht und gut war‘s. Ich habe ein bisschen mehr erwartet (wir haben sehr lange gewartet bis wir bestellen könnten und die Vorbereitung hat dann fast halbe Stunde gedauert - Aufstrich mit Eier, nichts superanstrengend). Als Entschuldigung kleines Glas Wein. Leider hatten wir nicht so viel Zeit..Vielleicht irgendwann mal wieder, aber habe ein bisschen gemischte Gefühle. Für diesen Preis hätte ich noch etwas mehr einzigartiges erwartet.

Lovely local restaurant with a terrace and pleasant atmosphere. Appreciated the hospitality by the chef and staff, who were flexible and hospitable. Menu featured selection of local vegetables and ingredients. Highly recommend!

Hervorragendes Essen, Ambiente & Service! Wir haben spontan einen Tisch gebucht und waren begeistert von allen Gängen - der Koch hat es geschafft, überall das Gewisse Etwas rein zu zaubern. Wir werden definitiv öfters kommen :)

Ich war skeptisch: So viele gute Kritiken? Berechtigt? Ohne Einschränkung: Ja! Wir waren zu sechst, hatten reserviert, was unbedingt zu empfehlen ist, wählten das dreigängige Mittagsmenü. Kurz gesagt: Die 40 Euro waren es allemal wert. Der Service: Vom Empfang, über die Weinempfehlung, die Bedienung während des Essens, bis zum Abschied: aufmerksam, freundlich, zugewandt. Das Essen: Unaufdringliches Dressing zum frischen Rohkost-salat, exzellente Sauce zum Kalb - zerging auf der Zunge - mit Pürree, fein abgestimmte Dessertvariation. Die Menge: Wir wurden angenehm satt. Fazit: Punktlandung! Respekt! Als Hotelkaufmann und Stadtführer weiß ich, wovon ich rede.

Wirklich ein wunderbarer Ort! Die Pasta (wir hatten sowohl Caramelle mit Trüffel als auch mit Tomaten) war exzellent - Al dente und sehr geschmackvoll. Alles wird frisch hinter einem zubereitet und hat zB kein künstlich hinzugefügtes Trüffelaroma. Auch das grilled Cheese Sandwich ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Service und Ambiente ebenfalls 10/10. wir kommen wieder!

Sophisticated, aber dabei sehr lässig. Das Essen war einfach wunderbar - perfekt ausbalanciert und von hoher Qualität. Überragend! Wir waren mit unserem Kanzlei-Team mit 26 Personen zum Mittagessen da. Mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail wurden Vorspeise/Hauptgang/Dessert zusammengestellt und serviert. Jeder Gang sowohl geschmacklich exzellent wie auch fürs Auge sehr schön angerichtet. Es hat allen hervorragend geschmeckt und bleibt definitiv als Highlight unseres München-Besuchs in Erinnerung. Steffi und Johannes: Sind wir wieder einmal in München, kommen wir sehr sehr gerne wieder!
