Incredibly delicious! An evening that simply made us happy. The warm service, the special atmosphere, and the superb food immediately won us over. You feel welcome and completely at ease – like on a mini-vacation in Sardinia. A true hidden gem that you almost wish you could keep to yourself. Highly recommended!

An absolute gem in Detmold! We had an exceptionally wonderful evening! A cozy, tastefully decorated dining room, friendly, attentive staff, and excellent food! Competent, unobtrusive explanations of the food and drinks. Special requests and allergies/intolerances were easily accommodated after making advance reservations.

A wonderful evening where everything just worked out. We felt very comfortable from the very first moment. The host works with a pleasant calm, attentive and present without ever seeming intrusive. The food was so wonderful from the first course to the last, aromatic, finely balanced, and full of flavor. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

The Rauchfang in Bad Orb is worth a visit. This wonderful little restaurant offers 8 to 12 guests the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional dinner in the evening. Reservations are essential! The chef cooks at the level of a 2-Michelin-star chef, and his wife serves. A wonderful atmosphere. We've been there twice and are so impressed that we've already booked a third visit. Fine dining at the highest level without seeming the least bit pretentious. Two people have found their passion here, and if you're worth it, you'll enjoy almost four hours of delicacies from the kitchen. The 22 photos show the menu served there on April 21, 2017.

Absolutely recommended! Since our visit yesterday, I've been thinking about the delicious food over and over again. We ordered the burger and the mixed salad from the counter and were absolutely thrilled. The food is super flavorful and healthy too :) We also brought two slices of cake home, and they were absolutely fantastic! The chocolate tart, in particular, was amazing! I wish I could have gotten another slice right away... Thank you so much for this amazing meal :)

We celebrated our wedding in a very small group at Karim's place at Tinaja and love spending time there. He's a fantastic cook and host. My husband never orders anything other than the octopus. Karim has four or five dishes on the menu. The delicious appetizer platter and the aioli are so good that we usually take some of the sumptuous main course home with us. Currently, he's closed on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, so you'll have to reach him on one of the other days from around 11 a.m. and reserve one of the five tables.

Everything was truly wonderful! It's well worth going back to this osteria for a meal again and again!
