The sushi at this restaurant is truly amazing! Each piece is incredibly fresh, with the perfect balance of soft fish, tender rice, and just the right hint of wasabi. The presentation is also very elegant, making it both visually appealing and delicious. The service was attentive, and the restaurant's ambiance was comfortable, adding to the overall dining experience. This is definitely one of the best places for sushi I’ve ever tried. We ate the Osusume 9-course menu here for a celebration and were more than thrilled. The atmosphere and the super friendly service alone made the evening very pleasant. But of course the food tops it all off. The 9-course menu takes you on a little journey with small culinary delicacies that you might not otherwise necessarily choose for yourself, but that leaves plenty of room for surprise and new experiences. We would definitely like to come back here :)

Service friendly & accommodating. The food came very quickly so I didn't have to wait long. What surprised me, however, was that when another employee entered the restaurant and a woman behind the counter noticed me, I wasn't greeted. I find that very unfortunate. Other customers didn’t say hello either, although I looked up on all three “opportunities.”

Very good price-performance! The sushi is great. Fish of reasonable quality (not bomb but not bad either) and the rice is compared to most other non-Japanese sushi shops not overcooked and battered, which is remarkable and, in my opinion, makes the shop an absolute recommendation! Would eat sushi here more often! Service is also very friendly. The ambience is not bad.

This is by far the best sushi restaurant in Leipzig. The service was extremely friendly and competent and fulfilled all of our wishes. The sushi was simply fantastic - I have rarely eaten such fresh and high quality sushi. Every dish was excellent and deserves five stars. I can only recommend every visitor who would like to enjoy first-class sushi to visit this restaurant in Leipzig. Here you really get the finest and best sushi. The kitchen and the entire team in particular deserve great praise, as they took the greatest care to ensure that our food was perfect, both visually and in terms of taste.

We spent a wonderful evening in "997". The food is very very tasty. Sushi is incredibly fresh and tasty. I stated when making the reservation that it was my birthday, so a sweetly decorated corner awaited us. Thanks for that. The service was very accommodating. We will come back in any case.

A really nice shop! I can highly recommend the Aquamarine Homemade Lemonade, it's not only very pretty but also has yuzu lemonade - so super delicious! We had cold soba (really good), Flammable Nigiri and Butterfish Inside-Out Rolls, as well as my favorite, Eel Maki. I can really recommend everything! I haven't eaten such good sushi often. We'd love to come back 😇

A very nice and small sushi restaurant in Plagwitz. An absolute insider tip, a bit inconspicuous from the outside, but the food, the service, simply fantastic. I had the 9 course menu once and can say that it was one of the best taste experiences I've had so far! Everything was right, great quality and a great selection of dishes! It is prepared in-house and high-quality products are used! I was absolutely thrilled and can only recommend giving it a try! 🫶🏻☘️

We had lunch here today and used the “NeoTaste” app. The food was really delicious and was very nicely prepared. The vegan sushi also tasted really great and we can especially recommend the crunchy rolls 🥰

A clear 9.97/10. Sushi is fresh, beautifully prepared and the maki is generously filled. There is also unagi (eel) nigiri to choose from. The Shoyu Ramen comes with a selection of fresh toppings and three thick slices of chashu.

Very tasty and friendly. We ate across the menu and everything was really very good and there were also a few new flavors. We particularly enjoyed the ramen and appetizers. The sushi was also good and the quality of the fish was top. It's just not typical Japanese sushi.

Food good, very lovingly prepared. Big drawback: Waiting times at the table for service and drinks are quite long, table times per guest are calculated too tightly! After an hour you are kindly asked to leave because new guests are waiting. Quite unusual… You feel thrown out. The same thing happened to other guests besides us.

We live nearby and are here more often than is good for our wallets. But the value for money is still right, the food is always delicious, and I can only recommend it. The sushi is some of the best in town.

In the gloomy ambience of the 997, our hopes of culinary fireworks were suddenly shattered. The Spicy Miso Vegan and the Shoju Vegan turned out to be deceptive decoys that plunged us into a taste void. The broths, once hoped to be a saving grace, turned out to be bland potions, while the toppings seemed like a slap in the face in their unimaginative and inappropriate nature. The silken tofu, lost in this taste wasteland, literally cried out for forgiveness. But the worst thing was the ominous feeling of the ramen noodles, which did not tickle the taste buds as expected, but turned out to be a cruel torture in their consistency and texture. Slurping this unholy concoction was more like eating overcooked spaghetti, and we were trapped in a nightmare of culinary disappointment. The Spicy Tuna Rolls appeared to us as a faint ray of hope in this dark night. Although their tastes only climbed the peaks of averageness, they were still a drop of hope in an ocean of sorrow. Their presentation was pleasing and at least they offered us a sufficient taste experience. But the chain of disappointments didn't want to end. The service, sluggish and inattentive, left us alone in the darkness of our culinary misery. When my companion, brave as she is, made her way through the dark establishment to visit the nose cells, she reported unpleasant smells and general uncleanliness upon her return. Given the exorbitant prices, we felt cheated out of every bite, and the thought of ever setting foot in this establishment again filled us with shivers.

The food was very good. The staff was very quick, maybe too quick. The dishes were cleared away so quickly, we had just finished eating. Maybe you could take a little more time with this.

Some things were absolutely great, others were pretty much so. In principle we thought it was good but not necessarily for the price... Nevertheless we were satisfied. Sushi 🍱 ist just one of the many delicious meals you can find here! Prices are fair, the athmosphere is very inviting. There is something for everyone. I had the vegetables 🥒 tempura, a sushi plate, we tried the combo plate as well and it was all really good! I recommend to try the Orange/lemon grass tea and the Lavendel home made lemonade 🤗✨
