The sushi tasted good, but the duck (very dry, the fat layer not crispy at all, and inedible) was a complete disappointment. Considering the slightly above-average price, it was average at best.

Everything was great. Friendly service. They prepared a sweet table for us for our anniversary.

Honestly, I don't understand how this place has such high ratings. Maybe people just haven't had good sushi yet? For 70 euros for two people (without alcohol), I would definitely have expected something better. The ambiance for sitting outside on the street is just the neighborhood, which is rather shabby, plus the busy road. But also the slightly worn and wobbly benches; I would generally expect something different at this price point.

Fresh and delicious sushi and food. Everything was beautifully presented. Good value for money and friendly service—what more could you want?

Really delicious udon nudels and fair prices

Today we had the 9-course menu and were impressed by the diverse selection of fine delicacies. The two of us were thoroughly satisfied, making the price absolutely justified for this quality. The staff served and explained the courses to us at a very pleasant pace. We've been there several times and have been very satisfied every time! A definite recommendation!

The food was truly delicious and highly recommended. We had the 9-course menu, and it was truly fantastic (one course wasn't quite to our taste, but it's clearly stated on the menu that it doesn't always suit our tastes). It took a while for the drinks to arrive, and the lemonades were quite expensive for the small size. The atmosphere is okay.

I have to praise it highly. The food was super tasty, beautifully presented, and simply delicious. I came with a huge appetite and left feeling truly happy. I really enjoyed it.

We found a seat quickly and were served promptly. The homemade lemonades were delicious and truly something special. The food also arrived quickly and was really great, tasted amazing, and the sushi was freshly prepared.

Highly recommended! I ordered my mixed sushi order using the well-functioning online ordering portal on the website. Waiting time 25 minutes, everything was ready on time. The rolls were all fresh and tasty, I was full - but if I had still been around I would have ordered something else because it was so good! Service and friendliness were also top. I'd love to come back!

Ein gemütliches kleines Restaurant. Die Bedienung hatte zwar gut zu tun, blieb aber immer freundlich und war flink. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Hier hat es uns gefallen.

Fast and friendly service. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, it's not wheelchair accessible. Two steps with no handrails to enter the store. Wheelchair users have no chance of getting in as there are another six steps in the store, which is a shame. There are only high tables in the front of the tress area. A real shame.

Interesting and very tasty: vegan sushi makis. They also have real fish. As someone familiar with Japanese cuisine, I can recommend this restaurant.

Today it was supposed to be sushi and what can I say, just delicious. Everything is freshly prepared. There are different versions, including vegan ones. The lemonade I chose wasn't really my thing. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice staff. Price/performance is completely okay.

Very very tasty food at a good price. I particularly recommend the Salmon Tataki and the Spicy Tuna as well as the 997 Roll. The drinks were also delicious. Would come here again.

Best sushi restaurant in Leipzig. Yesterday the two of us went to 997 without a reservation. The restaurant was full on Friday evening but we still got a seat and had a fantastic meal. The soups and sushi were simply delicious, fresh and prepared with a lot of love. Last but not least, thanks to the friendly service, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at 997 Sushi & Robata. We'll be back soon!

My friends and I went to this restaurant yesterday for sushi. The customer service was terrible. After ordering, we were told we only had until 7 p.m. to eat, and we arrived at 6 p.m. Our food was served at 6:30 p.m., and it was fine. And at 6:50 p.m., we were asked to leave, which was not very friendly. When we paid, and we were generous with our tip, the waitress didn't even say "thank you"; she just took the money. I've never experienced such impudence! Think carefully about whether you want to tolerate such unfriendly customer service!! Never again.

I have been a long-time customer here. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is good, the service is attentive. Especially the sushi and grilled pork noodles are very delicious. My children and family I often come to this restaurant, there are two enthusiastic female servers.

We had a platter for two, which was truly generous and filling. The fish was fresh and of good quality. I especially recommend the Vietnamese coffee, served with condensed milk—simply delicious!

We ended up here thanks to a recommendation from our vacation rental owner, and we were absolutely thrilled! We had salmon, shrimp in mango sauce, and royal rolls – everything was incredibly delicious, especially the mango sauce. The lovely ambiance and attentive service rounded off a wonderful evening. The food was fine, but the waitress acted smug and arrogant. Even though the entire restaurant was empty, she didn't let me sit on any of the empty tables with couches, and said they're all reserved. The staff altogether felt unwelcoming to me. The sushi was nice but it wasn't anything special. The miso soup was great though

We ate the Osusume 9-course menu here for a celebration and were more than thrilled. The atmosphere and the super friendly service alone made the evening very pleasant. But of course the food tops it all off. The 9-course menu takes you on a little journey with small culinary delicacies that you might not otherwise necessarily choose for yourself, but that leaves plenty of room for surprise and new experiences. We would definitely like to come back here :)

Service friendly & accommodating. The food came very quickly so I didn't have to wait long. What surprised me, however, was that when another employee entered the restaurant and a woman behind the counter noticed me, I wasn't greeted. I find that very unfortunate. Other customers didn’t say hello either, although I looked up on all three “opportunities.”

Very good price-performance! The sushi is great. Fish of reasonable quality (not bomb but not bad either) and the rice is compared to most other non-Japanese sushi shops not overcooked and battered, which is remarkable and, in my opinion, makes the shop an absolute recommendation! Would eat sushi here more often! Service is also very friendly. The ambience is not bad.

The kitchen and the entire team in particular deserve great praise, as they took the greatest care to ensure that our food was perfect, both visually and in terms of taste.

We spent a wonderful evening in "997". The food is very very tasty. Sushi is incredibly fresh and tasty. I stated when making the reservation that it was my birthday, so a sweetly decorated corner awaited us. Thanks for that. The service was very accommodating. We will come back in any case.

A really nice shop! I can highly recommend the Aquamarine Homemade Lemonade, it's not only very pretty but also has yuzu lemonade - so super delicious! We had cold soba (really good), Flammable Nigiri and Butterfish Inside-Out Rolls, as well as my favorite, Eel Maki. I can really recommend everything! I haven't eaten such good sushi often. We'd love to come back 😇
