It was okay, but it doesn't have to be a second time First the positive... I had a lasagna delivered to me. Apparently it was busy, so I got a call saying it might take a little longer. I still got the food in less than an hour, so everything was fine and the employees and the delivery person were also friendly, so everything was okay. Unfortunately, the food was a bit disappointing... it didn't look bad at first glance and was still warm enough, but it wasn't the kind of lasagne you like to enjoy. There was far too little sauce, so the whole thing was incredibly dry. In addition, it didn't taste like a typical bolognese and bechamel sauce, it completely lacked the typical tomato flavor. But it was still edible. Unfortunately, the food was so heavy in your stomach that it was difficult to fall asleep and you had to skip breakfast the next morning because you were still feeling slightly nauseous...

Bird droppings on the dining table, dishes not cleared away and poor food - that's how I would describe my visit to "Il Mondo Leipzig". The mango lassi I ordered seemed to have been frozen beforehand, and when I drank it the small ice crystals kept crunching between my teeth. "Mango Chicken" - a complete disaster. One could say a denigration of cuisine. The sauce was more like a mash of mango and sweet potato, the chicken was more characterless than ever and the whole thing was topped with tasteless, dry rice. Of course there wasn't a cent of tip for this food tragedy. I will never come back and can only strongly advise everyone not to do so.

We had our food delivered to our home and unfortunately it was a bitter disappointment. Our choice fell on 2 schnitzel dishes, which mistakenly suggested that we were looking forward to a tasty meal. The decisive factor for this was that I let myself be guided by the fact that our schnitzels are prepared in a restaurant and not from a run-of-the-mill place that offers everything from pizza to everything. Well, here too the menu features sumptuous dishes from around the globe. However, my doubts about this were alleviated by the very attractive photos of various dishes from the restaurant - and so there should be a chance for this establishment. I was looking forward to a schnitzel / asparagus / hollandaise sauce - and what I got was exactly the same mixture as from all the run-of-the-mill stalls. Two similar schnitzels, the breading of which wanted to be crispy, but was doomed to become soggy by a package of ready-made sauce. A few small pieces of asparagus were added to the sauce with the meat and, voila, schnitzel and asparagus sauce. As a side dish, which was not declared on the menu, there were (flaky) fries - which were allowed to remain as they were. My counterpart, denaged 'Jägerschnitzel' - the same principle as the first schnitzel dish. The only positive thing here is the fried potatoes - they were really delicious. There is nothing to complain about about the delivery service itself. The food came quickly and hot - the delivery man was also friendly. The prices are absolutely fine - there's nothing to complain about. However, the food had little or nothing to do with being tasty. Ergo: No more orders from this restaurant for us.

The food itself was very tasty. Except the tiramisu. Unfortunately that didn't taste good. The service was bottomless. We were the only guests and weren't really noticed. Drinks were empty. Nobody came. We wanted dessert. Nobody came even though the waiter was standing outside. I recommend either hiring a new service person who knows something about the job. Or send the waiter on a training course.

Very delicious food with real authentic taste of India 👌. I would highly recommend to go there and try it. Great service and atmosphere as well. People working there are so friendly and nice. I would love to go again and take my friends with me.

I ordered a pizza from the hotel for the second time today. The pizzas were highly recommended both times. Above all, the pizzas arrived hot! Fast and hot - that's how a delivery service should be set up! We'll see each other in the restaurant the next time we visit Leipzig - we promise! Then I can also write something about the ambience.

Menu includes English description, very good to see. Tried some indian dishes, the panna cotta and a mango juice, all very good and worth trying, waiting time was surprisingly short and the portions were surprisingly big. Will come here again.

Sometimes very long waiting times and the delicious schnapps afterwards are no longer available. The cheese on the pizza was replaced with a more tasteless cheese. It's a shame, it used to be delicious here.

Food is just edible, pretty borderline authentic, but the food is absolutely not and for the prices it's an absolute waste.

We got food there for the first time today, it was terrible gyros gratinated with cheese, the best thing was the cheese, the gyros were tough you couldn't eat and greasy, the fries were missing the seasoning, disgusting never again. And we paid 40 euros for that. It's a shame about our money, my daily hospital food is better. Actually no star 🌟

Order shahi paneer there every Sunday and it is super delicious. On New Year's Eve there was also a bottle of champagne. Great service and easy communication, perfect!

Maybe the food is better when you're there...unfortunately we were very disappointed. Ordered on January 28th, 2024 via Lieferando. 1xspaghetti with bolo, 1x with "Carbonara", 1xalla panna and a pizza quattro formaggi. Unfortunately all 4 dishes failed. The bolo tasted like a run-of-the-mill bolo, like any "Italian" that isn't. Cabonara and alla panna pasta can be served together as one dish. It tastes the same and the carbonara has nothing to do with a carbonara...why doesn't anyone get the hang of doing it properly? Unfortunately, the pizza tasted bland...and the edge was burnt...roasted flavors are nice, but not like that.... Definitely not a good choice if you're in the mood for Bella Italia.

Mit 55 Min. nur 10Min. länger als von lieferando prognostiziert gewartet. Pizza schmeckt super, allerdings ist der Boden labbrig. Penne Arrabbiata auch top,allerdings etwas trocken..ein Müh mehr Tomatensoße wäre super.

Haben Samstag Abend bestellt, Lieferung ging zügig. Haben zwei Pizzen und eine Pasta bestellt - alles sehr lecker zubereitet. Als Neukunde wurde uns noch ein kleines Extra angeboten - top Service! Werden hier öfter bestellen.

Wir haben hier den Schulanfang unserer Tochter mit 30 Gästen gefeiert und uns mega wohl gefühlt. Tolle Vorspeisen in Buffetform und haben für 30 Personen Hauptgang aus der Karte bestellt. Essen war alles super lecker, egal ob indisch, italienisch oder deutsch ( sogar Bratkartoffeln, Schnitzel, Pfifferlinge,...). Der extrem freundliche und flinke Service in Verbindung mit den günstigen Preisen haben den Nachmittag abgerundet. Unsere Prinzessin, die Gäste und wir waren sehr zufrieden.Wir kommen gern wieder!!! Danke an das ganze Il Mondo Team!

Wir hatten keine große Erwartungen und hatten uns spontan entschieden, ins Il Mondo zum Essen zu gehen. Es war ziemlich voll, weil 2 größere Gruppen mehrere Tische belegt hatten. Nach unsere Anfrage, ob noch ein Tisch für 2 Personen frei ist, hat der Besitzer ohne zu zögern, einen Tisch aus dem Außenbereich reingeholt. Nach unserer Bestellung mussten wir auch nicht lange auf unser Essen warten. Obwohl es voll war, haben alle Gäste zeitnah das Essen erhalten... und es war sehr gut und lecker. Keine Frage. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt und der Chef wie seine Frau und Schwester hatten uns freundlich bedient... Man merkte wie familiär das kleine Restaurant geführt wird... Nein, wir haben uns wirklich pudelwohl gefühlt.

Eine kleine Pizzeria mit wenigen Tischen, aber bei schönen Wetter gibt es einen Freisitz. Es gibt hauptsächlich Pizza und Pasta. Einfach, lecker und preiswert. Netter Service.

Wir waren in einer kleinen Gruppe im Il Mondo. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Angebot an Speisen ist sehr vielfältig und im Geschmack sehr gut. Über das Preis Leistung Verhältnis waren wir sehr angenehm überrascht. Il Mondo Leipzig sieht uns auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich kann mich nur meine Vorgänger anschließen und sagen das es genau so ist. Ich war schon öfters im IL Mondo essen und empfahl seine Pizza usw. bei uns im Verein in Grünau und bestellte zu meinem Runden Geburtstag Pizza und andere Leckerlis für alle und seit dem hat unserer Verein einen neuen Pizza Lieferdienst und das obwohl Grünau weit aus seinem Lieferradius ist. Einige Sportsfreunde fahren sogar mal privat bei ihm vorbei. Robin und Team macht weiter so .

Buscando un sitio para cenar a última hora por la zona, encontramos este restaurante y nos sorprendió positivamente. Nos trataron muy bien, y la comida resultó ser muy buena! Calidad precio perfecto, con raciones de comida grandes. Pedimos unas brochetas, una pizza, verduras al horno y verduras al curry.

Wir hatten 3 Pizzen bestellt. Die Böden waren perfekt gebacken und knusprig. Der Belag war typisch italienisch und frisch.👍

leider bleibt uns in Corona-Zeiten nur, das Essen nach Hause zu bestellen: Dieses kam dafür aber super pünktlich, super heiß, gut verpackt und total lecker! und preisgünstig dazu.. Immer gern wieder! Nur zu empfehlen...

Wir waren im Rahmen einer kleinen Geburtstagsfeier im "Il Mondo" und wurden sehr individuell und sehr freundlich bedient. Neben italienischen Gerichten wie Pizza und Pasta gibt es unter anderem auch indische Küche-sehr lecker, sehr frisch -unbedingt zu empfehlen! Hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis...vielen Dank!

Pizza war super lecker und wurde super schnell zubereitet 🍕 Nette kleine Terrasse zum draußen sitzen und speisen.

Wir haben abseits des Innenstadt-Trubels und direkt neben unserem H+ Hotel dieses kleine Restaurant gefunden. Der Wirt ist Inder und sehr freundlich. Die Speisekarte reichte von Indisch (sehr lecker) über Schnitzelvariationen und Burgern zu Pasta und Pizza. Die Pizzen sind der Kracher! Extremst lecker und dazu auch noch günstig! Waren deshalb auch direkt am darauf folgenden Abend noch einmal dort...Absolut empfehlenswert!
