Their menu has a good selection for meat eaters and vegetarians. Their Saag Paneer is delicious and a bit spicy, their flat breads are wonderful and so a the lassi drinks. The Portuguese server is always very nice, the other servers could improve. Definitely, a go to place for Indian dinner if you’re in the Würmthal!

Went to Namaskar for the very first time today. Simply delicious, the Indian cooking cheese is super tasty and perfectly seasoned. Very friendly service, totally attentive and a nice, cozy atmosphere in a different style, but still appealing; The surrounding beer garden is large and inviting - a 100% recommendation, we would love to come back for dinner 👍🤗😃

We got to try a little bit of everything, chicken, lamb, paneer, chickpeas, all the dishes were delicious. Ingredients of high quality, personal and service are top! Plus the restaurant is really cool, the decorations are beautiful. You feel teleported to India. Definitely a place worth visiting again and again! I highly recommend trying the desserts too, the mango cream and the gulab jamun were exquisite! Best Indian food I have tried!

One of the top (if not the top) Indian meals I've ever had! The naan was delicious and my Tikka masala was amazing! My wife had the vegetable mango and was very happy with it as well. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome.

I recently visited an Indian restaurant for dinner, expecting a typical experience based on the good reviews I had read. However, it turned out to be so much more than that. I had naan and tandoori chicken masala, followed by a dessert of jamoon, and every bite was simply delicious. The quality of the food was exceptional, truly up to perfection—it felt just like home-cooked food. I was genuinely impressed and completely satisfied with my meal. I highly recommend this place not only for the food but also for anyone looking for a great place to stay. They offer one of the best hotel accommodations as well.

I often go out for Indian food...and this meal had that certain something. Really good and freshly seasoned. Even the mango lassi tasted special. It's lovely to sit outside in the garden under the partial shade of the trees.

Great real Indian food, every dish different, freshly prepared and generous portions. Very tasty and spicy, spicy but not too much. Service is courteous, attentive and very humorous! We will be back definitely!!

Beautiful Indian restaurant with a small courtyard. Beautifully traditionally decorated inside and outside and the food is so delicious! Service is funny and kept us entertained with jokes and funny magic tricks while we waited. Be sure to try it out and enjoy 🫶🏻

The food was really good when it opened and for some time afterwards and the place was full. We were happy to have such a good Indian restaurant in Gauting and ordered/eaten there very often. After a while it kept happening that it was good but not as good as at the beginning. Now Namaskar has diminished a lot. Instead of chicken there was something like artificial meat in it (I know food) and the sauce had nothing to do with what I ordered or what I know from the past. I called them straight away and they shouted back and forth with the kitchen and told me to bring the food back and get a replacement. The shop was almost empty several times at lunchtime and for me it was the last time I picked up anything there.

We selected this restaurant to celebrate our child's birthday and we feel that our decision was correct. Everything about this place is really good. All our guests liked the food and felt that the authentic Indian taste was something that would bring them back again and again. They have a large open area where the kids can run and play games. There is a sand pit as well where kids can enjoy. Hospitality by the staff is also amazing as every staff member here is very courteous. The owner himself is very polite and talks in a very humble manner and accomodates all your requests with ease. The place is very close to the S Bahn station. We and all our guests loved the place and are definitely coming back here.

If you have to wait almost 2 hours for your food, you'll never come back! Food quality okay. Service ignorant. Our table was avoided and when the food was brought, only “It’s busy today”. The tables were not fully occupied. It wasn't too busy. If we hadn't been so hungry, we would have left. Prices in the upper segment. Not recommendable!

Even the telephone reservation was very polite! As requested, we were able to sit outside in the beautiful garden, which was later beautifully illuminated. The food was above average in all areas, and the delicately seasoned rice was a sensory delight. All tables are set with cloth napkins and tablecloths. This stylish ambience is accompanied by just the same service. Recommended!

Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Munich that we have been to so far. The food is delicious and has an authentic Indian taste (which is very rare in Indian restaurants here). The staff is very friendly and takes good care of guests. We tried their Chole bhature (not in the menu but you can ask for it), Tandoori chicken, Mutton Nilgiri, Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, Mango Lassi, and Kulfi and everything was awesome. The ambience is good, and they also have enough indoor and outdoor space to host large gatherings as well. Overall, we had a great experience and Namaskar Indisches will be our go to Indian restaurant from now onwards :)

Really cozy and super tasty! This Indian restaurant is a real insider tip! Sitting outside is great, especially when the weather is good - small but nice, and if you walk around the corner, there's a surprising amount of space. Inside you immediately feel at home, completely lovingly furnished. The people who work there are also super nice and always look great. We often hang out there, not only to eat on site, but also to order take-away directly from the website

Everything was just right here: Short vacation in India - a culinary journey with a taste experience that touches all the senses! Wonderfully fragrant, vegetarian thali: Each dish has its own seasoning, fresh ingredients and creamy consistency. The spicy lentil soup is also a highlight. Everything was freshly prepared and served and decorated with love, pleasant spiciness. The garlic naan is slightly crispy, intense in taste.. In particular, the homemade cheese in the spinach was not rubbery, as I had already experienced in Indian restaurants. The staff was friendly, charming and attentive, subtle Indian music in the background accompanied our short culinary journey and brought back memories of my backpacking trips through India. Thanks to the entire team and our waiter Kulwinder, who looked after us charmingly and said goodbye happily with a schnapps :-) We'd love to come back!

After the excellent reviews here, I unfortunately have to admit that I was disappointed when I actually visited the restaurant. Clearly: There is no reason to complain about the food, but unfortunately it is nothing exceptional. Good Indian cuisine, which you can also enjoy at Indian restaurants in the area. For this quality and performance, the prices are very high, especially for the drinks. Here a standard (mango) lassi with a very reduced volume becomes a luxury drink. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not at all right. The service is consistently friendly once the staff has found their way to the table when the restaurant is full, which is where we immediately come to the ambience. You can't be claustrophobic and in some corners the seating that promotes communication is so dense that you're almost reminded of the Oktoberfest. But for a romantic dinner for two, you can happily forego such close proximity. Overall: A consistently good Indian restaurant with high prices and average quality of food.

I've been here about 10 times and the food has always been very, very tasty. I can highly recommend it if you want to eat out for €20-30, the portions are large and you really get something for your money.

We always tried something new and every time it was delicious, 100% success. Plus: the people who work there are exactly the right people, we think the service is simply brilliant.

We had organised a birthday party and it was amazing. It was during winter so we did it inside. They have one private room. Without any disturbance we enjoyed there quite well. The room is fit for more than 20 people. If someone wants to celebrate a function then I would recommend this place. During sunny days it would be even more amazing because they have a big garden. All staffs are very cordial and the food was amazing. with our request they also served Jain food.
