A culinary delight. The very first bite of the lamb ragout and orange zest rice was an explosion of flavor. The service was extremely attentive and flexible. Although we had a reservation, we arrived much too early. Despite the restaurant being very busy, we were seated very quickly. Highly recommended overall.

The restaurant is relatively expensive, but it impresses with its delicious food. The service is friendly and attentive. The only drawback is the somewhat cramped seating, as many tables and chairs are crammed into a small space.

Really interesting food, in our case breakfast. If you want something different from cold cuts and muesli, this is the place for you.

Creative dishes that I haven't seen in other Arabic restaurants before. A very successful combination of different ingredients and spices. We had the eggplant ragout and the pastries with figs, goat cheese, lentils, and rice with almonds and orange. There is a nice selection of vegetarian dishes.

I can only echo the positive reviews; I was there today with a group of 10 people. I had köfte with rice (with almonds and orange zest) and it was simply delicious. The rest of the group was also very satisfied.

A truly special meal in a beautiful atmosphere with excellent service. The vegan options are also absolutely outstanding. The rice (you can choose between three options) is also a treat. This restaurant is a gem.

Had dinner with a larger group there, the food was lovely, sat outside in a cozy backyard. The food was served almost at the same time for everyone. Seemed like home-cooked food, good portions and reasonable price.

It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious meal. It was a bit generous (for me, a bit old-fashioned), but the leftovers were packaged without any problems. I could have had a tasty meal at home even without the sauce. The point deduction is due to the fact that it gets quite loud when the dining room is filled with people. Both of us (over 60) sought peace and quiet at home. But the food will definitely make us want to come back soon; you can complain about the noise, but you don't have to! Absolutely recommended!

We had an appetizer, vegetarian pastries, and pieces. They came with two sauces, all delicious. The lamb ragout is highly recommended; carefully prepared and well-seasoned, served with sensational basmati rice with orange zest and almond slivers. The meatballs in tomato sauce were also delicious. I would definitely visit this restaurant again if I ever come back to Lübeck. We sat in the courtyard; the tables are quite close together and simply magnificent. The ambiance isn't quite as appealing. Everything is just very simple. But that doesn't detract from the quality of the dishes.

Very good breakfast – taste over quantity (well-sufficient and reasonably priced). Fried egg with datterinos – subtle, but very well seasoned with cumin.

Unfortunately, the outdoor dining area had cheap garden tables and chairs. The waitress only came once for the order and delivery. Then, after a long wait, we had to go inside to pay. We would have liked more food and drinks...

My wife and I ate at this lovely restaurant once in the evening and once for lunch. We enjoyed the food very much. As expected, the lunch portions were a bit smaller, but still adequate. The value for money was good for the food, but unfortunately, the drinks weren't. We skipped our beloved wheat beer and opted for a small beer and a large bottle of water. The waiters were very friendly. We'll see you at Jawed's Remise on our next visit to Lübeck.

Beautiful setting in a cozy backyard. The rice was great (I had the version with some orange peel and caramelized almond slivers). I think the lamb stew is overpriced for the small portion and unfortunately it tastes a bit bland, I had hoped/imagined more character (but that's certainly a matter of taste, I think it was adapted for a German clientele). What I absolutely have to complain about is that the portion of the stews from the lunch menu is just as big/small as the portion from the à la menu! When I specifically asked, I was told that lunch was a small portion. False and lies. Unfortunately it's just a rip-off. What a shame!

I went to the restaurant based on the good reviews and really enjoyed my visit. My waiter's recommendation was lamb ragout with rice and raisins and it was really great. It was my first visit to an Afghan restaurant and it was a real hit. I love oriental cuisine because of the variety of spices and will now like to eat Afghan food more often. Incredibly delicious 🤤 For dessert we had Creme Brulee and that was also very tasty. It's a shame that we're only visiting Lübeck. Otherwise we would probably be regular guests 😄

Unfortunately I don't understand the super good rating. I tested it myself based on the review and was unfortunately a bit disappointed. I thought the food was delicious it was honest home cooked food and was good. Unfortunately the portion size was anything but good, I ate the starter and main course and went home hungry, the manti was far too small for me personally (Main course) came on an elongated, narrow plate that was more reminiscent of a starter and I paid just under 20 euros for it. Especially with such hearty, hearty and absolutely delicious food, I would like to have more than 6-7 small pasta pockets on my plate, especially given the rather high prices. At the Italian restaurant I pay an average of 15 euros for a top pasta and get much larger ones portions. However, you also have to say very clearly that there are people for whom one portion is enough. A grown man definitely doesn't get his money's worth with a dish here, which is a shame!... Service seemed a bit overwhelmed. She complained that my friend had left her bag at the next table, which was completely fine, but maybe I would say it a little nicer next time. Otherwise everything was fine, no long waiting times, ambience clocky but charming. All in all, 2 points from me for people who want to be full and 4 for people who don't need much.

We chose Jawed's Remise because we had never tasted Afghan food. It was a good choice. Very, very delicious food, lovely atmosphere and very attentive and friendly service. We chose mixed starters and main courses, which we shared on the table and we, and the children, loved it all! Easy booking via email and quite reasonable prices. We will come again the next time we visit Lübeck.

Sehr gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung und eine lockere Atmosphäre im Restaurant. Getränkepreise sollte man mal überdenken (0,75 Mineralwasser: 7,50 €, Hefeweizen 6,00 €...). Der Bereich der Küche und der Toiletten im Keller wirkt ein wenig überholungsbedürftig.
