Al Patcho is the Italian restaurant with a lot of ambience and attention to detail. It is beautifully located on the Morillenhang with a large outdoor terrace for dreaming and sunbathing, right by the trees on the Johannisbach. We like to visit the Al Patcho restaurant for dinner and are always amazed by the cuisine. The kitchen team can be seen through a glass pane. The card leaves nothing to be desired. The boss's recommendations are an insider tip; he knows how to pamper us. He and his colleague maintain eye contact and ask whether we are satisfied or have any wishes. We feel comfortable and come regularly. Prices are in line with comparable restaurants in other cities. We enjoy the quality, the atmosphere and the feeling of well-being. Al Patcho - our new favorite restaurant and insider tip in Aachen ❤️ We have been there 3 times within 5 weeks and have gone home even happier each time! The Al Patcho team is super attentive, courteous, friendly and open. We have now received great service three times, we have been asked about our well-being at comfortable intervals and there has been no sign of pushing for drinks or food orders. You make you feel at home! The food: we hope the pictures speak for themselves! I was happy to have finally found an Italian restaurant in Aachen that offers montepulciano as the house wine, makes a reasonable vitello tonato and offers cannelloni as the main course. The portion sizes are just right and the food is beautifully presented. The meal is accompanied by pleasant background music! The ambience: stylish, elegant, chic, clean. Now we were able to toast your birthday and say after 3x Al Patcho - you are simply great! We will be regular customers ❤️ A big compliment and thank you to the team for making the evening so wonderful!

I had the pleasure (on recommendation) of visiting Al Pacho and it was a fantastic experience! The menu offers an excellent selection of classic and creative dishes. The service was also excellent: the staff was friendly, attentive and was able to give us great daily recommendations. The evening was rounded off with dessert – the tiramisu was to die for! The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Overall, a great restaurant that I would recommend to anyone who loves Italian cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The first time, with zero expectations because it was a recommendation. Read the online menu beforehand, be curious, receive, order, eat, drink, chat. 1000% positively surprised. We'll be back, definitely. I deliberately don't say a word about the food, you have to experience it for yourself. Service absolutely perfect, friendly, courteous, never intrusive. This is how I want to be welcomed and looked after in every resto! ☺️

The food and service were fantastic. We had the Scaloppine and the Saltimbocca, as a starter salad with caramelized goat cheese and bruschetta. All of them are absolutely recommended! The service is super nice and accommodating, we felt completely at home here and would love to come back!

A really great Italian with everything you would hope for in an Italian restaurant! The food was without exception very tasty and authentic. Special requests and intolerances were addressed in a very friendly and professional manner. The service was impeccable, very accommodating and knew the menu very well. This meant that alternatives could be quickly offered in individual parts of the dishes. The ambience is cozy, straightforward and well-kept and invites you to linger. The drinks were prepared just as well as the food. We had a lovely evening all around. The only thing that could be criticized is the seating. Because the room is quite small, you essentially sit at the same table as the person sitting next to you. This can be annoying, but can also (as in our case) lead to a nice exchange between other guests. We will definitely come back!

A very attractive restaurant with excellent service, smaller but nicer! We each tried the lasagna and a dessert each, which were excellent! In addition to the dishes on the menu, there are other daily or weekly dishes that were kindly pointed out to us. The food is always delicious! Tiramisu is particularly recommended. Otherwise, the service is quick and you feel very comfortable there.

Wedding celebration at AL PATCHO: After our wedding we stopped at Al Patcho with the wedding party (just over 30 people) and were very happy with the food, the service and the ambience. The planning: We received very friendly and uncomplicated advice during the planning process. At two evening meetings we clarified the menu, decoration and processes. Regarding the menu, we were free to choose from the menu, and several good-sounding suggestions were made that were outside of the menu, some of which we offered. As far as the decoration is concerned, we were able to organize elements ourselves or, for example, rely on contacts from Al Patcho for napkins. We decided to get the floral decorations, napkins and place cards ourselves. We were able to bring the flowers over on the day of the wedding and everything was prepared by the staff. We felt very well supported during the planning. The location: The Al Patcho is located on a street with little traffic and offers a very nice, bright atmosphere with its terrace and large glass front. Because of the hedge surrounding the terrace, you are undisturbed as a closed group. The wedding was at the beginning of October and the second half of the day could be spent completely spontaneously on the sunny terrace. We are grateful for the flexibility offered to us. The service was also very good, no one had to wait too long for their food or drinks and the staff was very friendly. The food: Our guests and we ourselves were very satisfied with the food. After guests ordered, mixed appetizer platters were distributed, a good way for the company to eat while the main courses were being prepared. All guests were served their main courses so that they could eat together. We were explicitly told by a guest that they had the tastiest spinach pizza ever. At our request, we were allowed to bring a wedding cake for dessert, which was ideally complemented by the delicious desserts from Al Patcho in the form of small dessert glasses. Conclusion: If someone is planning a wedding or a similar event for up to 30 people, we can only recommend that they consider Al Patcho. Our experience was entirely positive. Many thanks to the staff for the great day!

There were three of us celebrating my birthday. The staff were also okay with me being surprised with a beautifully presented dessert and a sparkler. Happy Birthday was sung and a Happy Birthday song was turned on. The shop is well decorated and very beautiful. Everyone was very nice and the ambience was perfect. The food was also very delicious. The bruschetta was the best I've eaten so far and is highly recommended. For my main course I had the Manzo salad, which was also very tasty. The dessert platter we got for my birthday was also incredibly good. I particularly liked the panna cotta. We also got the dessert plate on the house. I couldn't have wished for a more relaxing and better birthday. In any case, Al Patcho can be recommended and I will definitely come back, even if we come from Cologne.

Our favorite Italian around the corner. Cozy atmosphere, inside in winter and on the terrace in summer. Sensationally authentic pizza (among the best in Aachen), pasta in great variations, delicious antipasti and, above all, always very warm, informal service. It couldn't be better.

Al Patcho has been our absolute favorite restaurant for a long time. And apparently we are not alone. About 2 years ago it was still an insider tip - now it's better to make a reservation! The food: A professional cooks here. Inventive, beautifully presented and above all delicious! The service: Attentive, unobtrusive and always friendly - that's how it has to be. The ambience: modern but very cozy, with attention to detail. Conclusion: Al Patcho is one of Aachen's top addresses for good food. We like to go as a couple, or with friends or family. In summer the large terrace offers plenty of space, in winter it can be a bit tighter inside. No problem. We always like to come!

Excellent Neapolitan pizza and great ambience. - Ambience: Very nicely designed with a wonderful outdoor area for warm days/evenings: 2 gas fireplaces next to the entrance, white fabric-covered bar tables, very pretty, modern stone floors. Inside there is also very nice furniture with real wooden tables. Familiar and cozy space. - Food: great pizza, Neapolitan style, with a very nice thick and light base. Very quick preparation time. (Pasta looks tempting. We'll definitely have to try it next time.) - Prices: very reasonable for the good quality. - Guests: pleasant and quiet; Well attended on a normal Thursday evening. So be sure to reserve in advance! - Service: Very friendly and helpful Overall: insider tip! Highly recommended.

We live near the restaurant and have visited it several times. During our visits we can highlight the hospitality and consistently attentive service. We have already tried the food and would never be disappointed. The portions are reasonable and the selection is clear, which underlines the high-quality cuisine. The ambience is very nice inside and out and invites you to linger. In summer you can really end the evenings with cocktails, drinks etc. We would be happy to come back and recommend others.

A restaurant in a cozy corner with great food and a beautiful location. I've been ordering almost exclusively from this restaurant lately. Price-performance is adjusted at the moment.

The restaurant has a large outdoor area, which is tastefully designed, on a quiet side street. Parking is available. The food is lovingly prepared and is an absolute pleasure with a pleasantly large menu. The drinks are also tasty. It's just a shame that you feel like you're not welcome as a guest. Starting with a somewhat annoyed look when the group size is more than the usual 4 people, continuing with the fact that it takes 30 minutes until the drink order is taken. The order came quickly and the food was good. Responding to a guest's request for another glass with the words “then open your mouth” clearly shows the (non-existent) motivation to offer good service. Basically, our visit was characterized by the feeling of being unwanted. Too bad. No recommendation, and if so, it's best to take food away without contacting the service. So an evening like this at decent prices is no fun, obviously neither for the staff there nor for the guest.

A restaurant in a residential area. The surroundings and space do not create an atmosphere suitable for a ristorante. A spritzer with non-carbonated water... Warm wheat beer on a summer evening... Lasagna without any real flavor...

Well from my POV one of the best italian places in Aachen: pizza for sure the best, bruschetta-absolutely the best, and the burrata I like too, some of the pastas I tried were also very good (aglio olio and linguine with shrimps). It’s always very friendly and fast. But better to reserve. And the delivery if you order from home is also very fast. Parking around is usually alright, no problem.

It was our first time at Al Patcho in Aachen and we absolutely loved it! As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly service and immediately felt at home. The service was consistently attentive and very accommodating, which made our visit a special experience. The food was simply outstanding! Every dish was lovingly prepared and tasted a real delight. We would particularly like to emphasize the variety and quality of the food – everything was very, very tasty. The atmosphere at Al Patcho is also very nice. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger and makes your stay a pleasant one. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can highly recommend Al Patcho to everyone!

We didn't know Patcho yet and we're not from Aachen either. However, we are always looking for small, cozy restaurants with friendly owners and excellent food, because we love food, not only privately but also professionally, as we run a small restaurant ourselves in Merkstein. We are explicitly not in favor of system catering and we do not use the word “cheap” or the phrase: “It was OK and cheap.” when eating out. What's good also has to cost something and in the end we want to be surprised by the culinary delights when we eat out. And Al Patcho has completely succeeded in doing that. You are greeted in a very friendly manner at the entrance, given excellent advice when ordering and what comes to the table not only looks great, but also tastes wonderful. We look forward to visiting again soon! We just forgot to ask if small dogs were allowed, but even if they weren't, we would come here again and again. The world needs more very good, small restaurants with owners who love what they do. And you can see and taste it. Thank you for a lovely evening and sharing your art.

Been here for the second time and always had really tasty, high quality food! The service is always great too! The only disadvantage: the volume of the drunks is annoying, extremely (!) loud. no control or attention to smaller tables. But Al Patcho can't do anything about it. Therefore still 5/5. :)
