We really enjoyed the food, and the ambiance is lovely. However, the prices are quite high, so I'd love to see very good service here, especially. Unfortunately, the service was rather patchy: Even the wait for the menus and the opportunity to order dragged on. We weren't even asked if we'd like another drink, even though we would have liked to. I found it particularly disappointing that even paying took so long that we ended up having to go to the front. The service was friendly, but inattentive, and the man at the cash register seemed unfortunately unfriendly and rude. It's a real shame—with attentive, professional service, this restaurant could truly be top-notch.

An unforgettable birthday evening at AL PATCHO I reserved a table online for four people at 5:15 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2025, for my birthday – and even though the restaurant was already fully booked, they kindly arranged a table for us. A big thank you to the entire team for that! I wasn't familiar with the restaurant beforehand, but a school friend had recommended it to me a few days earlier – and I was not disappointed. The evening began promisingly with the aperitif, a wonderfully refreshing Limoncello Spritz. The bruschetta appetizer was aromatic and perfectly balanced, and the main course, which was served to us at the owner's recommendation, was a culinary highlight: fresh, lovingly prepared, and a real hit in terms of flavor. The crowning glory was a dreamy chocolate soufflé with a liquid center, accompanied by bourbon vanilla ice cream – a dessert you won't forget. AL PATCHO completely won me over with its hospitality, quality, and atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Amazing food and super friendly people! 😍 We were here for the first time yesterday and were greeted warmly and immediately shown to our table. The atmosphere is totally relaxed, and you immediately feel at home. The food was simply fantastic – the pasta in particular was a dream, really fresh and delicious. The drinks were also incredibly well-mixed. You can tell the food is cooked with love here. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality you get. We'll definitely be back – definitely recommend it! 🙌

My husband and I went to ElPacho once, right when we were first starting out. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish. Since we're experienced at pizzerias, we quickly noticed that the seasoning was missing. Everything tasted bland; we've had better. After we noticed that it's always packed, we thought maybe the chef had changed. So we went back about 4 weeks ago. This time with starters and main courses, but unfortunately they'd sold out of dessert. But this time too, we felt they were missing herbs like oregano, basil, etc. For us, it has nothing to do with authentic Italian cuisine. But the ambiance is very nice and the service was worth more than 5 stars. Unfortunately, it wasn't for us.

Unfortunately, I can't confirm the reviews here. The service is unsatisfactory. Perhaps it was just a bad day. They simply wanted too much, grabbing every single guest. They added tables even though they were already full and couldn't guarantee normal service! In my opinion, the food was mediocre, the portions averagely small, and the value for money was poor. The drinks were bland due to the wait. We'll never be back!

A small but incredibly beautiful restaurant. I've been there several times now, and the food has been really good every time. On my birthday, I got a delicious teramisu on the house for dessert.

A very good experience in this Italian restaurant. We were glad we had made a reservation, because it was full on Saturday night (indoors), with nice weather you can also sit on a large terrace. Parking in the evening in the street is free. We ordered the pasta with salmon and chicken and pizza. It was served very hot and it was incredibly tasty! Large portion of salmon and chicken. For dessert delicious panna cotta! The service very correct: neat reception and escort, the boy who helped us was very nice and polite. Recommended!

Al Patcho is the Italian restaurant with a lot of ambience and attention to detail. It is beautifully located on the Morillenhang with a large outdoor terrace for dreaming and sunbathing directly by the trees on the Johannisbach. We like to visit the Al Patcho restaurant for dinner and are always amazed by the cuisine. The kitchen team can be seen through a glass pane. The card leaves nothing to be desired. The insider tip is the chef's recommendations, so even gourmets will get their money's worth. He and his colleague maintain eye contact and ask whether we are satisfied or have any wishes. We feel comfortable and come regularly. The prices correspond to comparable restaurants in other cities. We enjoy the quality, the atmosphere and now the feeling of well-being. Everyone will find their absolute favorite dish on the menu. The dishes are not only incredibly delicious but also beautifully presented, and I think the value for money is absolutely excellent. We always enjoy inviting friends and relatives there for dinner, and so far, everyone has shared our enthusiasm. The Prosecco was also a delight; everything was excellent. We'd love to come back!

Al Patcho - our new favorite restaurant and insider tip in Aachen ❤️ We have been there 3 times within 5 weeks and have gone home even happier each time! The Al Patcho team is super attentive, courteous, friendly and open. We have now received great service three times, we have been asked about our well-being at comfortable intervals and there has been no sign of pushing for drinks or food orders. You make you feel at home! The food: we hope the pictures speak for themselves! I was happy to have finally found an Italian restaurant in Aachen that offers montepulciano as the house wine, makes a reasonable vitello tonato and offers cannelloni as the main course. The portion sizes are just right and the food is beautifully presented. The meal is accompanied by pleasant background music! The ambience: stylish, elegant, chic, clean. Now we were able to toast your birthday and say after 3x Al Patcho - you are simply great! We will be regular customers ❤️ A big compliment and thank you to the team for making the evening so wonderful!

I had the pleasure (on recommendation) of visiting Al Pacho and it was a fantastic experience! The menu offers an excellent selection of classic and creative dishes. The service was also excellent: the staff was friendly, attentive and was able to give us great daily recommendations. The evening was rounded off with dessert – the tiramisu was to die for! The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Overall, a great restaurant that I would recommend to anyone who loves Italian cuisine. The first time, with zero expectations because it was a recommendation. Read the online menu beforehand, be curious, receive, order, eat, drink, chat. 1000% positively surprised. We'll be back, definitely. I deliberately don't say a word about the food, you have to experience it for yourself. Service absolutely perfect, friendly, courteous, never intrusive. A really great Italian with everything you would hope for in an Italian restaurant! The food was without exception very tasty and authentic. Special requests and intolerances were addressed in a very friendly and professional manner. The service was impeccable, very accommodating and knew the menu very well. This meant that alternatives could be quickly offered in individual parts of the dishes. The ambience is cozy, straightforward and well-kept and invites you to linger. The drinks were prepared just as well as the food. We had a lovely evening all around. The only thing that could be criticized is the seating. Because the room is quite small, you essentially sit at the same table as the person sitting next to you. This can be annoying, but can also (as in our case) lead to a nice exchange between other guests. We will definitely come back!

The food is always delicious! Tiramisu is particularly recommended. Otherwise, the service is quick and you feel very comfortable there.

Wedding celebration at AL PATCHO: After our wedding we stopped at Al Patcho with the wedding party (just over 30 people) and were very happy with the food, the service and the ambience. The planning: We received very friendly and uncomplicated advice during the planning process. At two evening meetings we clarified the menu, decoration and processes. Regarding the menu, we were free to choose from the menu, and several good-sounding suggestions were made that were outside of the menu, some of which we offered. As far as the decoration is concerned, we were able to organize elements ourselves or, for example, rely on contacts from Al Patcho for napkins. We decided to get the floral decorations, napkins and place cards ourselves. We were able to bring the flowers over on the day of the wedding and everything was prepared by the staff. We felt very well supported during the planning. The location: The Al Patcho is located on a street with little traffic and offers a very nice, bright atmosphere with its terrace and large glass front. Because of the hedge surrounding the terrace, you are undisturbed as a closed group. The wedding was at the beginning of October and the second half of the day could be spent completely spontaneously on the sunny terrace. We are grateful for the flexibility offered to us. The service was also very good, no one had to wait too long for their food or drinks and the staff was very friendly. The food: Our guests and we ourselves were very satisfied with the food. After guests ordered, mixed appetizer platters were distributed, a good way for the company to eat while the main courses were being prepared. All guests were served their main courses so that they could eat together. We were explicitly told by a guest that they had the tastiest spinach pizza ever. At our request, we were allowed to bring a wedding cake for dessert, which was ideally complemented by the delicious desserts from Al Patcho in the form of small dessert glasses. Conclusion: If someone is planning a wedding or a similar event for up to 30 people, we can only recommend that they consider Al Patcho. Our experience was entirely positive. Many thanks to the staff for the great day!

There were three of us celebrating my birthday. The staff were also okay with me being surprised with a beautifully presented dessert and a sparkler. Happy Birthday was sung and a Happy Birthday song was turned on. The shop is well decorated and very beautiful. Everyone was very nice and the ambience was perfect. The food was also very delicious. The bruschetta was the best I've eaten so far and is highly recommended. For my main course I had the Manzo salad, which was also very tasty. The dessert platter we got for my birthday was also incredibly good. I particularly liked the panna cotta. We also got the dessert plate on the house. I couldn't have wished for a more relaxing and better birthday. In any case, Al Patcho can be recommended and I will definitely come back, even if we come from Cologne.

Our favorite Italian around the corner. Cozy atmosphere, inside in winter and on the terrace in summer. Sensationally authentic pizza (among the best in Aachen), pasta in great variations, delicious antipasti and, above all, always very warm, informal service. It couldn't be better.

Al Patcho has been our absolute favorite restaurant for a long time. And apparently we are not alone. About 2 years ago it was still an insider tip - now it's better to make a reservation! The food: A professional cooks here. Inventive, beautifully presented and above all delicious! The service: Attentive, unobtrusive and always friendly - that's how it has to be. The ambience: modern but very cozy, with attention to detail. Conclusion: Al Patcho is one of Aachen's top addresses for good food. We like to go as a couple, or with friends or family. In summer the large terrace offers plenty of space, in winter it can be a bit tighter inside. No problem. We always like to come!

Inside there is also very nice furniture with real wooden tables. Familiar and cozy space. - Food: great pizza, Neapolitan style, with a very nice thick and light base. Very quick preparation time. (Pasta looks tempting. We'll definitely have to try it next time.) - Prices: very reasonable for the good quality. - Guests: pleasant and quiet; Well attended on a normal Thursday evening.
