I've been a guest here many times. The food is always fantastic! The service is absolutely impeccable and attentive. This year's Christmas menu, with its three main course choices, was amazing! In addition, the restaurant offered a real highlight on the terrace this year: a beautifully decorated bauble. The decorations inside the restaurant were also lovely and thoughtfully arranged. A very nice, tastefully decorated restaurant. We ordered pizza, which was really good. The dough/pizza base and crust were slightly crispy, but not hard, and delicious on its own. We were very satisfied.

We frequent Al Patcho and, in addition to the very pleasant service and the absolutely cozy atmosphere – which is further enhanced during the current winter season by the igloo on the terrace that's transparent from all sides – we always appreciate the excellent food. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place at all! The staff were very unfriendly, the restaurant was completely empty, we dropped by spontaneously and were greeted rudely! "He's a real Italian, and there are no walk-ins on Fridays," so the restaurant remained empty...

The food was delicious, but unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for it. Three neighboring tables ordered after us and were almost finished eating before we could even start. I don't know if we were forgotten; the server didn't offer any explanation. We only ordered pizza and pasta dishes, nothing more elaborate. Aside from that, though, it's highly recommended.

Well from my POV one of the best italian places in Aachen: pizza for sure the best, bruschetta-absolutely the best, and the burrata I like too, some of the pastas I tried were also very good (aglio olio and linguine with shrimps). It’s always very friendly and fast. But better to reserve. And the tiramisu is very tasty. And the delivery if you order from home is also very fast. Parking around is usually alright, no problem.

I had a truly exceptional culinary experience at Alpatcho in Aachen. At my request, my menu was slightly adjusted, and I was served wonderfully tender cod on creamy celery root purée. Every detail was perfect: harmonious flavors, meticulous preparation, and a presentation that was a feast for the eyes. My friends were equally impressed. They each ordered a different dish, and every single one was outstanding. You can immediately tell that the food here is cooked with passion, skill, and that certain something. The drinks were also perfectly paired and rounded off the experience beautifully. A big compliment to the staff as well: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always readily available without being intrusive. I will definitely be eating there more often in the future. If you are in Aachen and don't mind to go Al little further away from the city Centre, then this is a nice authentic place where you can enjoy some of the better Mediterranean food in the area, served by super friendly and helpful staff. The interior is also very warm and welcoming.

Unfortunately, the service was rather patchy: Even the wait for the menus and the opportunity to order dragged on. We weren't even asked if we'd like another drink, even though we would have liked to. I found it particularly disappointing that even paying took so long that we ended up having to go to the front. The service was friendly, but inattentive, and the man at the cash register seemed unfortunately unfriendly and rude. It's a real shame—with attentive, professional service, this restaurant could truly be top-notch.

An unforgettable birthday evening at AL PATCHO I reserved a table online for four people at 5:15 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2025, for my birthday – and even though the restaurant was already fully booked, they kindly arranged a table for us. A big thank you to the entire team for that! I wasn't familiar with the restaurant beforehand, but a school friend had recommended it to me a few days earlier – and I was not disappointed. The evening began promisingly with the aperitif, a wonderfully refreshing Limoncello Spritz. The bruschetta appetizer was aromatic and perfectly balanced, and the main course, which was served to us at the owner's recommendation, was a culinary highlight: fresh, lovingly prepared, and a real hit in terms of flavor. The crowning glory was a dreamy chocolate soufflé with a liquid center, accompanied by bourbon vanilla ice cream – a dessert you won't forget. AL PATCHO completely won me over with its hospitality, quality, and atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

My husband and I went to ElPacho once, right when we were first starting out. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish. Since we're experienced at pizzerias, we quickly noticed that the seasoning was missing. Everything tasted bland; we've had better. After we noticed that it's always packed, we thought maybe the chef had changed. So we went back about 4 weeks ago. This time with starters and main courses, but unfortunately they'd sold out of dessert. But this time too, we felt they were missing herbs like oregano, basil, etc. For us, it has nothing to do with authentic Italian cuisine. But the ambiance is very nice and the service was worth more than 5 stars. Unfortunately, it wasn't for us.

They added tables even though they were already full and couldn't guarantee normal service! In my opinion, the food was mediocre, the portions averagely small, and the value for money was poor. The drinks were bland due to the wait. We'll never be back!

Parking in the evening in the street is free. We ordered the pasta with salmon and chicken and pizza. It was served very hot and it was incredibly tasty! Large portion of salmon and chicken. For dessert delicious panna cotta! The service very correct: neat reception and escort, the boy who helped us was very nice and polite. Recommended!
