Dingy, outdated shop. Chicken wings tasty but very sporty at 15.80 :((( Chicken breast completely tasteless really disgusting!!! After criticism, no apology, service was constantly gone… Never again, thanks for nothing :((

Nice restaurant in terms of atmosphere, but the food is tasteless, largely canned and poorly prepared. I don't know how they made the guacamole, but there was no avocado anywhere near it. The creme fraiche seems diluted and there is simply no seasoned meat in sight. My motto is always, if you can make it tastier at home, it's not a good meal out.

The tacos are the worst I’ve ever tried, quality went so low.

We recently visited Hombre Mexican Food & Cocktail Bar in Schweinfurt, and it was a fantastic experience! The moment you step in, you're greeted by a warm and vibrant atmosphere that instantly transports you to Mexico. The menu is packed with authentic Mexican dishes, each bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. From the perfectly seasoned tacos to the mouthwatering enchiladas, every bite was a delight. The cocktail menu is equally impressive, featuring a wide range of expertly crafted drinks, including some of the best margaritas I've ever had. The service was top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed for a great night out. Whether you're there for a casual dinner or a lively night with friends, Hombre Mexican Food & Cocktail Bar is the perfect spot. The combination of delicious food, fantastic drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit in Schweinfurt. We can't wait to go back!

Super authentic and very tasty 😍

Summary: unsuitable for vegans and overpriced. I had the Casita Mix plate (taco, quesadilla, burrito) in vegan - by the way, almost the only vegan option. When I ordered I was asked if I wanted cheese, which I said no and repeated that it should please be vegan. The question about whether meat was ok almost caused me to leave. The food came relatively quickly. You get 2 (mini) tacos, 1 burrito and 1 quesadilla. The fillings: 2x a few vegetable snippets (with coriander sauce) on the tacos, 1x kidney bean puree which had a meaty aftertaste (but at this point I was probably biased by the question when ordering). The last filling was incredibly poorly seasoned nopal, which to me simply tasted like pickles with a bit of lettuce. The whole thing for >20€. I was neither full nor did I enjoy any of these fillings - the tacos were ok but unfortunately with coriander sauce (tastes vary here). There was a little extra sauce that I couldn't identify because it didn't actually taste like anything (maybe water with a hint of onion). The drinks were good and also of a large selection. My partner liked it mediocre - but the prices were hefty here too. Therefore 2 stars even though my experience was worthy of a maximum of one star. Without exception, the staff also speaks Spanish, for whom that is relevant (I cannot judge whether all the employees come from Mexico or Latin America in general) Service but rather bad: The questions about the vegan order & we wanted to ask for a second napkin because there was only one at the table - we ended up halving it because we couldn't get anyone to the table. Side note: If you don't like coriander, you should keep your distance - I ordered without coriander (there was none on top as a topping) but apparently there is no (vegan) sauce without coriander, which is why my food ultimately had a slightly soapy taste: )

Super tasty restaurant, it tastes very authentic, like in my home Jalisco. The homemade tacos 🌮 & enmolades de pollo 🐔 are particularly recommended. For me one of the best Mexican restaurants when I'm in Hamburg. Owners are also very nice.

Loud, small, we sat right next to the door, which unfortunately doesn't close by itself. But since, as is to be expected in Neukölln, none of the guests entering closed the door behind them, so we were busy the whole time either closing the door ourselves or asking people to please close the door . Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good either, the (homemade) nachos were quite hard and either completely over-salted or completely without salt. The main courses weren't convincing either; everything tasted pretty uninspired. We didn't get the impression that high quality ingredients were used here. The service was quite nice - measured by Neukölln standards. But overall disappointing, we won't go there again. For the quality of the food, the prices were simply too high.
