Very nice restaurant with a top service team. The food was great and we can only recommend this restaurant!!!

Nice place, but in the end it's not quite there...menu is messy, a bit Mexican, a bit German, also applies to the interior...it's as if they can't choose what they want to go for. Food is quite on the salty side.

Good food staff were helpful and offered English menus to us. Prices more than reasonable Will come again in future

Excellent restaurant. Good food and lots of choice. Also very suitable for vegetarians. For those who do not make a reservation, there is a chance that you will be seated in the front part of the restaurant where the surroundings are slightly smaller.

The food was okay, but nothing more. Many dishes were no longer available. The price-performance ratio was not convincing. Given the prices, you don't assume that you have to pay extra for every bag of ketchup for the children... well! For me it's more of a tourist trap. Too bad!

Ate or drank there as part of a class reunion and it was great. The reception was friendly and that continued throughout the beautiful evening. I would like to specifically mention the great ambience, it was also great.

We received a very friendly welcome at lunchtime with our dog girl. The restaurant is very cozy and clean. The service was very courteous and the food came relatively quickly. The duck burger was to die for and the taccos were also delicious. Price/performance is top. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Everything is great! We celebrated with our company, everything was good except that even though we had a nice bill, we didn't even get any schnapps from the house.

Unfortunately there was really nothing to eat. The mince was completely crumbly and not al dente. Additionally, all of them lacked flavor (besides the lack of meat quality).

We were here a few months ago.. the drunk waiter sat down at our table and just put the ashtray on the table and smoked. We had just sat down and it was 3 p.m. They're out again straight away.

A charming restaurant with delicious food! Unfortunately, it does fall short in terms of service.

We were there with a group of 20 people and there were problems as soon as we arrived because there were two too few places despite having booked in advance, but this was quickly resolved. The food (in my case Burrito de Pollo) was okay, but nothing special. When it comes to desserts, however, there is a huge need for action, as you cannot pay €6.90 for a large piece of apple strudel with cream, but for an "apple donut" (a measly portion consisting of a small apple ring fried in batter and a scoop of vanilla ice cream). Chocolate sauce from the bottle) pays €8. The overall atmosphere is cozy, but the store is quite narrow.

From the outside it looks very cozy. The terrace is beautiful, but it was too cold to sit there and eat so we went it. The interior inside is a bit old but it has great potential to be cozy as well. We had a meat dish with vegetables which was spicy and nice. Menu is more mexican than german, much focus on meat. Service efficient and pricelevel fair. In the summer I would love to come back for a glass of riesling outside. Cochem is a touristy place, this did however not feel like a typical tourist trap.

Zeer lekker Mexicaans restaurant gelegen in de Enderstrasse in Cochem. Het is een groot restaurant dat voordien duidelijk een andere functie had en waardoor ook je de indruk krijgt dat er bijna niemand aanwezig is. Dat was bij ons ook het geval, maar toen we binnen gingen was dit een totaal fout gevoel. Zeer lekkere gerechten maar bovenal wil in ook de Mexicaanse wijn van L.A.Cetto aanbevelen die echt uitzonderlijk bleek. Wij hadden als voorgerecht de Tapas el San Christobal en vervolgens de Fajita de Pollo en de Gourmet Burrito. Stuk voor stuk zeer lekker en volgens de regels van de kunst klaargemaakte gerechten. De bediening is ook zeer vriendelijk en voorkomend wat altijd zeer aangenaam is. Kortom als je in Cochem bent en je wil wel eens wat anders eten, dan kan dit zeker een openbaring zijn. De liefhebbers van Mexicaans eten hebben geen enkele reden om niet te gaan, proef dan zeker ook de wijn van hierboven 😉

Nice Mexican restaurant! They have a very large menu, but the food is good! Quite some options for vegetarians as well. The staff is very friendly and the prices are good.

Nice restaurant in terms of atmosphere, but the food is tasteless, largely canned and poorly prepared. I don't know how they made the guacamole, but there was no avocado anywhere near it. The creme fraiche seems diluted and there is simply no seasoned meat in sight. My motto is always, if you can make it tastier at home, it's not a good meal out.

I had enchiladas and they were really good. They came to the table quickly and still very warm. The staff was also extremely friendly. The only thing you could complain about is the location, as the restaurant is next to a street and the train station. But they also tried to make the best of it, which I think they managed to do.

I ordered tortilla with chicken breast fillet. Very high proportion of corn and kidney beans, 2 slices of mushrooms and approx. 80 grams of chicken meat. No fresh and Mexican flavors discovered/tasted. The clue was argued with: it says so on the map. A kebab is fresher prepared and only costs half as much...

We spontaneously had dinner there with two people on Saturday evening. That wasn't a problem at all. We were served promptly and had no waiting times. The food was very tasty and the cocktails were also impressive. The best choice for the evening!

Cocktails are not recommended in this restaurant, had a Long Island Ice tea, supposedly with 3 types of alcohol for €11! What I got tasted like watery cola, I couldn't taste any alcohol, let alone feel it. After complaining, you weren't even offered a new drink, unfriendly service, overpriced prices. Never again!

To start with, this restaurant has a really beautiful building. The staff are friendly and the service is good. We had a really delicious lunch here. Sitting comfortably at a table on the veranda. The atmosphere was good. The price-quality ratio here is really great. For a good price you get really tasty food. Highly recommended.

Mexican food in Cochem. This works well and inexpensively at San Christobal. However, only with a small queue, thanks to Corona. The food was delicious and plentiful. But a few things were sold out, like the corn tortilla, there was only wheat left. The cocktails and drinks, on the other hand, seemed professional and very drinkable...recommended.

We were recommended the restaurant. It doesn't deserve that. The food was ok. The service was ok. The atmosphere was better.

Nice restaurant just outside the center of Cochem. Mexican and BBQ dishes. The restaurant is nicely set up and the staff is friendly. Prices are fine and food is tasty. Portions are not on the large side.

Spare ribs were too dry and the tortillas tasted like dish soap. Condition was not.

We had a great dinner after a lovely day in Cochem.

Very nice restaurant. The outdoor area in particular is beautifully designed. We had the rump steak with the Riesling pepper sauce and tostada de pollo. Both were really excellent. The tortillas and cocktails are also 1A.

Food is really very good. It tastes excellent and is of high quality (rump steak with a Riesling pepper sauce and potato wedges). In my opinion, the portions are too small and not appropriate for the price. The furnishings are very nice and you feel comfortable.

Absolutely unfriendly boss. You ask if you can sit outside and the answer is “you have to look” (just an example) I’ll save you everything else at this point.

Good Mexican restaurant, portions could be a little bigger

I had a nice meal, I had a mix grill and the meat was nicely seasoned, but on the cold side. The herb butter is fantastically delicious. We ate all plates completely empty and we enjoyed it very much. To be repeated.

Heerlijk gegeten! Heerlijke snitzel. Zijn al een paar dagen aan de moezel maar afgelopen dagen nog niet zo lekker gegeten als hier. Snitzel van goede kwaliteit. Heb ook een heerlijke gepofte aardappel genomen. Wij komen zeker terug!! Waarschijnlijk deze week nog.

The two dishes we ordered were... Pulled beef tacos. These were very tasty and hot. Unfortunately, my wife's chicken wings were only warm, so the 4 stars would have given them 5 stars. If they had been warm, they would have been 5 stars. The potatoes were very well prepared.

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with Mexican food at all. It just doesn't taste like anything. Service and interior are okay. Children's pizza is a thin flatbread for 12 euros. Unfortunately it's way too expensive and tastes like nothing. Sorry

We ate at San Christobal for the first time and were very enthusiastic about the food, everyone in the service was super friendly, we will definitely eat there again the next time we are in Cochem, highly recommended.

We were with you for the first time today. It was super tasty. Almost everything was perfect. My portion could have been a bit larger. But the taste was excellent, hence the 5 points. We would like to come back often. I only have a few minutes with you. Thanks also to the nice waitresses.

I saw many people recommend grilled ribs, but I think Mexican burritos and beef burritos are better than ribs!

Because of the relatively good reviews, we chose this restaurant during our visit to Cochern. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The starter “Fried Champions” for 9 euros tasted like cheap frozen food. That was very disappointing. The main course was OK and filled you up, but it was bland and unfortunately completely without Mexico😥 Sorry, that wasn't for us.

The meal was okay. Not a highlight, the prices are reasonable for the place. In general, I find things to be very expensive in Cochem. Almost like a big city. Now to eat. As a starter we had a large portion of tortilla chips with 3 dips. Unfortunately, these weren't homemade, at least they didn't look like it. For mains we had lamb chops, pulled beef taco (daily menu) and burrito de pollo. All three tasted good. In total we paid almost €100. For the money I have to say I expected more taste.

Went there for the first time today and were blown away by the reviews. But we wanted to convince ourselves personally The food, from the starter to the main course and the service convinced us! Neither too little food, nor unfriendly staff, nor too little seasoning, we didn't notice any of that? On the contrary, we were more than satisfied. We almost never order a steak in the restaurant because we were almost always disappointed and a steak usually costs a little more. We took the risk again this time and were not disappointed.

Beware of tourist rip-offs! The San Christobal attracts people on the street with cheap offers that the restaurant does not actually offer. The prices are also extremely high. Bad price/performance ratio!

We had lunch! Everything was served steaming hot! It was delicious! I recommend you should try Nachos with cheese for sure!

Still the best food in all of Cochem. Staff was nice the food was very good. We actually wanted to eat there again, but it didn't happen. We will definitely eat there again on our next visit to Cochem.
