Traditional german menu executed well. Wine list featured only a few local producers but we had a lovely Riesling Spaetlese Trocken relatively cheaply. This place is unimpressive from the street but with old vaulted ceiling inside. Cochem has many tourist restaurants; this felt much nicer.

It was ok but not as outstanding as the previous ones. The one service employee wasn't there. She spreads a lot of charm and joy to watch her at work. And the food was too salty...

We ate there with our child (5 years). Everything tasted very good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere there is great too. Our child's special requests were also addressed. All in all, a successful end to the day.👍

Very cold reception: we did not feel welcome to have a drink with 10 people around 4 pm: the lady was on a break and we were only allowed to use 1 table (no extra table added). We spent 50€ and she couldn't ask fast enough if we wanted to move the cars for the regular guests. No, I won't be back 😤

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years and it never fails to impress me. Kirsten the owner always makes you feel really welcome. Rooms are always Immaculate and location is brilliant. The restaurant is also first class. I will obviously be returning.

Despite the full house, a table for 6 people was made available for us at short notice. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. It was a beautiful evening!

We asked if there was a table available for 2 people and initially received a negative answer due to a lack of staff, until they listened again in the kitchen and it was still OK! Fortunately, because we had a delicious meal in this typical German restaurant with local dishes. We had the Schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and the medallions with three sauces. The latter dish consisted of three rather small pieces of meat, although it was tasty.

We had a really good meal here yesterday. All recommended without exception. Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere and excellent quality food. The recommended wine was fantastic. Price/performance top! A must for every visit to Cochem! Be sure to reserve. Thanks to the entire team!

Small and cozy hotel, friendly welcome. Room is small and clean and has a view of the cable car and the mountain. Narrow bathroom with nice shower. Delicious dinner on the terrace with an excellent menu. Breakfast in the morning is extensive and delicious fresh warm rolls. Recommended if you stay in Cochem.

I can highly recommend the Unicum Restaurant Zum Onkel Willi to anyone if they want to eat well in Cochem. A rustic restaurant, beautiful modernized rooms, small groups or on the terrace. The food is excellent, regional and some organic. Fast service that fulfills every wish. Afterwards you can explore the area with a short walk or take the cable car. FIVE STARS PLUS ATTENTION: You should definitely make a reservation so that you can fully enjoy it. Just because there's a lot of space doesn't mean you have to occupy everything. Because this reduces the quality and quantity.

Tijdens onze vakantie zijn we hier een tweede maal komen eten omdat het zo lekker en verzorgd was. Zeer mooi gepresenteerd bord, grote porties. Heel eerlijke prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Duidelijk merkbaar dat gebruikte producten van heel goede kwaliteit zijn en heel vers. We proefden drie verschillende hoofdgerechten en twee verschillende desserten. Gezellig, verzorgd en heel proper restaurant.

A cozy hotel just 100 meters away from the center. The rooms are good and the beds nice and firm. You will find breakfast in the restaurant just downstairs, I can also recommend eating here in the evening, they make a good schnitzel. There is free parking right outside. There is a lot of noise from cars and trucks as they drive right outside.

I had dinner with my partner at Uncle Willi's on our holiday evening. I've never eaten so badly in recent years. Had grilled pork chop with chanterelles The cutlet consisted of two thirds of pure fat and everything was almost poorly seasoned and not nicely presented. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the chop. After I complained to the waitress, she said only one cutlet and always so much fat. In short, we'll never see this place again. We were there on motorbikes. The hotel is ideal for this. Extra parking space under the carport. Always received friendly service. The rooms were modern and comfortably furnished. The breakfast was completely sufficient and the dinner was delicious.

Diner kaart vond ik minder uitgebreid, maar het gerecht wat ik had besteld zaten verse groentes bij en het smaakt erg goed. De dame die ons bediende was professioneel en alert. Reservations are recommended, the restaurant was full. From the outside I wouldn't go straight to the restaurant. Once inside we were led to our table by a friendly young man. Dated facility with a cozy atmosphere. typically German for us. Wide range of (local) wines. I thought the dinner menu was less extensive, but the dish I ordered had fresh vegetables and it tasted very good. The lady who served us was professional and alert. We had a nice dinner.

A must for all visitors to Cochem! We ordered three meals. Grilled plate, zander fillet and goulash soup. All three dishes were excellent down to the last detail. 5 ⭐️ There are also 5 stars ⭐️ for the very friendly condition. The ambience also gets 5 ⭐️ An absolute delight and worth a visit!

We ate here on the last day of our visit to Cochem. This was only possible because we had reserved in advance. I have to mention straight away that I think it's good that the number of guests is reduced, but the quality of the service and food is also impeccable. Yesterday we took a nice trip to Cochem. We then stopped at Uncle Willi’s for dinner. Everything was again very, very tasty. 😋 The service employees were all very courteous and attentive. In advance. The Gasthof Onkel Willi is very nicely decorated and I really enjoyed the food. So why do I still only give 2 stars? Because the service staff probably only knows the spelling of the term customer friendliness. Any examples? Wanted to sit at the head of a table. At this point there was a chair that was placed there by the staff. I was then directed to this place with the comment that there wasn't enough room for service if someone sat down there. Then why put a chair there? There were advertisements on the tables for regional Moselle beer. When I asked which regional beer they served, I was only told a dark beer from Mendig. During my stay I noticed that the advertised Moselle beer was later being served at the neighboring table. Another member of the group I was eating with wanted to top up a waitress's tip with a few copper coins. She replied that she would not accept copper coins because they would add too much to her wallet. All in all, behavior that you as a guest would definitely not want to experience from service staff. Even the really delicious food can't save it. Addendum: Today we had dinner at “Uncle Willi” again after more than 4 years. All the positives from 4 years ago remain, but the waitress who served us today was very friendly and very accommodating. A really great service. This makes you feel comfortable as a guest. I would then be happy to change the rating from 2 to a full 5 points.

The lettuce had a lot of brown and unappetizing leaves. The service was completely messed up and became increasingly unfriendly. I know that good staff is in short supply, but the customer ultimately pays the salary and if I squander that, the company could close sooner or later. Actually, it's a shame.

Sfeerloos restaurant met teveel luidruchtige Hollanders. Matig eten voor een flinke prijs. Ultradunne diepvriesfriet en mayonaise uit plastic zakjes. Irish coffee besteld, maar die was op zaterdagavond 20.45 uur niet te krijgen.

Absolute Empfehlung! Toller Service - Tolles Essen. Wer in Cochem unterwegs ist, sollte dort unbedingt einkehren.

Stilvolle, saubere Zimmer, gute Lage, leckeres Essen im Restaurant und Frühstück.Unsere beiden kleinen Hunde(Havaneser)waren herzlich willkommen, nur 30 Euro Aufpreis für eine Nacht finden wir schon happig... . In allem sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen und nette Mitarbeiter. Hatte das pfännchen. Hier gibt es Benediktiner Weißbier vom Fass. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren am Samstag dort Essen. Roastbeef mit Champignonsoße und Kabeljau mit Nudeln. Einfach Mega. Steak Rosa gebraten, zart und saftig. Der Fisch war auch perfekt gegrillt. Großes Lob an den Koch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Für ein 0,3er Bitburger 3,6€ an einer anderen Kneipe (der konnte es noch besser) in der Nähe vom "Alt Cochem" stand auf der Getränkekarte ein Preis für ein 0,2er Kölsch von 2,70€! Die haben hier doch nicht den Knall gehört! Wer es mit sich machen lässt "OK" muß jeder selbst wissen. Bei mir läuft diese dumme Touristen Abzocke nicht!!!

Wir haben am 03.11.23 im Restaurant Onkel Willi zu Abend gegessen und waren wirklich begeistert von der Qualität und Zubereitung der Gerichte. Der Service war wirklich freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist immer gut besucht und ich empfehle eine Reservierung vorzunehmen.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant mit gemütlichem aber nicht überladenen Ambiente. Das Essen sehr lecker abgeschmeckt und zubereitet. Der Service freundlich aber leicht überlastet; darum leider ein Stern Abzug. Es dauerte etwas bis wir bestellen konnten, es gab keine Servierten, für die Flasche Wein keinen Kühler. Die Weinflasche wurde einfach auf den Tisch gestellt und für den Rosé bekamen wir Rotweingläser. Trotzdem würde ich das Restaurant empfehlen und auch wiederkommen. Preis Leistung passt

Pommesbude ist bei weitem besser. Schnitzel fetttriefefend aus der Friteuse. Das Essen konnte man auf dem Teller suchen. Einfach nur schnell Abfertigung bin schon sehr enttäuscht von allem

Heerlijk gegeten in dit restaurant. En een hele vriendelijke ober. Eten was heerlijk maar jammer dat de koffie helemaal niet lekker was. We hadden een cappuccino maar leek filterkoffie met tweederangs schuim. Jammer want die maak ik thuis veeel beter.

We came without reservations but the waitress was kind enough to give us a table. Very quaint interior, very friendly staff. Menu was good, selections varied, and the food was all very good. Enjoyed our meal here very much. This is a far better restaurant than any of the ones along the river front. You have to walk a little to get here but it is worth the little extra effort. Will certainly eat here again.

Wir waren gestern zu zweit im Restaurant und waren rundum zufrieden. Wir hatten einmal eine Kürbissuppe, ein Rinderfilet und einen Apfelstrudel, die andere Vorspeise waren Riesengarnelen, zur Hauptspeise ein Bavette Beef. Dazu eine Flasche Wein. Sowohl das Essen, als auch die Getränke waren unfassbar gut. Der Service war gut, Sauberkeit (auch der Toiletten) war einwandfrei. Wir würden von A bis Z alles empfehlen und wieder hingehen. Preislich für das, was man bekommt, heutzutage unserer Meinung nach im Normbereich.

Mein Mann und ich waren nur zum Essen dort. Ein tolles Restaurant mit super Essen. Frisch zubereitet. Toller Servive. Auf jeden Fall Tisch reservieren, dort ist es fast immer ausgebucht. Wie waren einen Tag vorher ohne Reservierung da aber es war kein Tisch frei. Haben dann gleich für den nächsten Tag einen Tisch reserviert. Wir waren rundum zufrieden 👍😊

Gutes Essen in Cochem , wir waren zu 9 Personen da , hatten Monate vorher gebucht und waren mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden . Die Art der Bedienung war wechselnd 2 Bedienungen sehr freundlich - 2 andere sehr abweisend . Anscheinend wollte man eine größere Gruppe doch nicht haben . Aber , da das Essen ( auch wenn einige Gerichte nicht mehr da waren ) sehr gut war : 4 Sterne

Wir haben heute das Restaurant besucht. Auch / oder gerade weil das Restaurant etwas außerhalb des Touristenzentrums liegt, lohnt sich der kurze Weg dorthin. Das ausgewählte Hirschgulasch war köstlich, der Service der freundlichen Kellnerin perfekt. Wo bekommt man noch selbstgemachte Kroketten und Röstitaler...!? Dazu ein stimmiges und gemütliches Ambiente. Es empfiehlt sich dringend zu reservieren, am ersten Abend waren wir ohne Reservierung leider zu spät drann und die Plätze sind überschaubar.

Wir haben das Hirschragout genommen und es war mega lecker!! Die Teller waren sogar angewärmt, was man selten erlebt, so blieb das Essen länger warm. Am besten reserviert man vorher. Wir hatten Glück und ein Tisch wurde draußen frei, als wir kamen.

Total unfreundliche Bedienung. Das Restaurant war fast leer. Trotzdem mussten wir mit einem Kleinkind in der Sonne sitzen, damit die anderen Tische schön frei bleiben. Den elektrischen Sonnenschutz wollte man für uns nicht rausfahren. Beide Damen, die dort waren, waren total unfreundlich und nicht serviceorientiert. Sowas nenne ich kinderfeindlich. Das Restaurant ist an einer stark befahrenen Strasse gelegen. Draussen laut, ungemütlich. Einen zweiten Besuch wird es sicher nicht geben.

Ein gut bürgerliches Restaurant mit ausgezeichneter deutschen Küche. Während unseres Aufenthalts in Cochem haben wir das Restaurant zweimal besucht und haben unsere Gerichte und den tollen Wein sehr genossen. Tischreserierung wird unbedingt empfohlen, da oft ausgebucht. Für uns DAS beste Restaurant in Cochem.

Das Restaurant hat einen schönen, rustikalen Charme. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Preise der Speisen waren dem touristisch geprägtem Ort angepasst. Der Service war freundlich und flott, fiel jedoch teilweise durch unpassende Aussagen auf. Die Sanitäranlagen schienen noch aus den 70ern zu stammen. Das Restaurant ist dennoch sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Restaurant (Onkel Willi) ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alle probierten Gerichte waren hervorragend. Küche und Service verstehen ihr Handwerk. Eine vorherige Reservierung ist allerdings genau deshalb auch zu empfehlen. - Für die Toilettenräume würde ich mir persönlich eine Renovierung wünschen, denn die passen überhaupt nicht zu diesem Lokal!

Bedient hat uns Frau Wolkenfeld, die sehr zuvorkommend und profesionell ihren Job ausübte . Das Essen war einfach nur top es gab Filetsteak mit Pfifferlingen, wo es nichts zu beanstanden gab.
