We've both stayed at this hotel twice. We've always been impressed. The room service, staff, and food are always top-notch. We'd love to go back again.

The waitress was very attentive and friendly, thank you Conny! The food was also delicious! I'd be happy to come back.

Please update your schedule to reflect that, like the French, you close your kitchen after lunch service. Drove to Cochem based on the good reviews and hours that stated you are open from 12 to 10 on Friday. Was told, in not so friendly a manner, the kitchen is closed from 2 to 5. Edit: Sept 21. In response to the owner, we were never offered anything, only told that the kitchen is closed. I went to your website and it focuses on your hotel not restaurant hours. But it's ok, we found a much nicer place with much more friendly people.

We can't comment on the rooms. We were only here for dinner. The service was very friendly. The young man did his job well. The food was definitely average. We wouldn't come back.

A beautiful hotel with a very good breakfast. Everything is freshly prepared and the service is very attentive and polite. The manager is very pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful. Thank you for the wonderful time in the quiet rooms at the Hotel Onkel Willi. Oh yes...the free Wi-Fi has a 100 Mbps connection...great. And there are also four charging stations in the parking lot.

Restaurant - Despite free tables, we weren't seated. We just wanted to order and eat something. Not sit with a bottle of wine for three hours. Zero involvement or help in resolving the situation. The waiter said our 18-month-old in a stroller would disturb other guests. They were generally reluctant to communicate in German or English. We wasted time getting there and were simply ignored by the staff.

Good service and very good food

We had a very nice room. The weather improved, so we extended our stay. We had to move, but that was no problem. The breakfast and everything else was perfect. We often enjoyed dinner in the restaurant; Bernd is a very good cook. We'll definitely be back and wish dear Kerstin all the best, because it's rare to meet such lovely people. Rarely have we eaten such delicious food. All the food was fresh and of perfect quality. Reordering was no problem at all; everything was completely to our satisfaction. The selection and value for money were perfectly fine. Without a reservation, it will be difficult to get a table here. We would love to come back to this lovely setting. The staff was excellent.

We waited an hour and a half for our meal, until the kitchen closed at 9:00 PM. We asked several times where our food was, the answer was that it was busy. We finally left. Then we were told they'd "forgotten" us. We did pay for our glass of mineral water and glass of wine. A shame, we had a good meal before, but tonight it was a disorganized place with a grocer's mentality.

We stayed there for three nights with our dog. Everything went smoothly. Arrival, check-in, parking, etc. The rooms are very warmly decorated, and the friendliness of the staff made us feel truly relaxed. The entire team was very fond of animals, even with our dog Erna. The breakfast is very good. We also ate there in the evening and tried a variety of dishes. Kudos to the chef. The food was truly delicious... We would happily recommend this hotel. Hello, we ended up at Onkel Willi's by chance, but that wasn't to our detriment. The waiter was very friendly, the food was perfect, and the bill was very reasonable. The only problem in Cochem is parking. Even the large parking garage was completely full, so maybe a short walk to help us digest might be the next step. We'll definitely be back at Onkel Willi's on our next visit.

We spent a long weekend at "Onkel Willi" (Uncle Willi's). The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, opposite the cable car. Parking is available on site. The town center is just a few minutes' walk away. We received a very friendly welcome from the friendly landlady. Check-in was extremely straightforward. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fantastic. The half chicken in the evening was unbeatable. Very friendly staff. We can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and would gladly return.

We arrived an hour before check-in and were rudely asked to leave the hotel parking lot. When we asked about this, we were also denied check-in. Thankfully, we were able to book another hotel.

The owners are committed to quality and apparently don't fill all the tables at the same time. The half chicken is good. The grilled dish was served with mushrooms, even though it wasn't listed on the menu. It's a shame if you don't like them or are allergic to them. In my case, however, the service tried very hard to accommodate my needs, which they did.

A great restaurant, fantastic food, not just a feast for the eyes, but also for the palate. But the best part is the service! So tough, no inhibitions about being sociable, wearing their hearts on their sleeves, and working with the utmost passion. It was a perfect evening. Located at the entrance to the village, Onkel Willi offers the peace and quiet you need from the hustle and bustle, yet is just a leisurely 10-minute walk from the center. Across the street is the chairlift, which you can take for a truly panoramic view of Cochem. I'd go back to this restaurant anytime!

We wanted to have lunch there, sat down on the chairs outside at 11:15, when a younger woman came and said: It's not opening time yet, we should go, I replied: we can wait, then the woman said: Where there is one, there will be several more. The restaurant is still closed. We left and will no longer visit “Uncle Willi”.

We ate here on recommendation. Reservations are necessary because the restaurant is almost always full, which of course says something about the quality. The welcome was very friendly. The restaurant is spacious, so you don't sit "on your neighbor's lap". The menu is simple, but everything is fresh and of very good quality. We had a delicious meal and a very pleasant evening. I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

We rented a room here for 3 nights. The rooms are bright and friendly furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. From the hotel you can reach everything on foot, whether it's a walk along the Moselle or shopping. I can only recommend the Mosellandhotel in Enderttal and will definitely come back again.

We were passing through Cochem for a day. And we looked at the town outside of the tourist area. We came across the restaurant through TripAdvisor. Which in retrospect was an extremely good choice, We were there right at 5 p.m. and were able to get a table for two without a reservation. A reservation would probably make sense for later times. We were greeted by an extremely friendly waitress who always had a funny saying, which we really enjoyed. The food was plentiful and, above all, very delicious, as was the wine. The price is completely reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely come back next time we come to the Moselle. Thank you

The two of us went there for dinner, without prior reservation, based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. Thanks to the very quick and extremely courteous service, we and other guests were still offered a table. Very tasty wine (Gewürztraminer), great aperitif (Mosel Kir) and the food made the evening perfect. The asparagus soup was a dream, the deer ragout and the grill pan are also highly recommended. If we end up in Cochem again, we would be happy to come back!

We visited the restaurant “Zum Onkel Willi”. We weren't hotel guests. Tastefully rustic furnished. The service was very friendly, although not entirely “on point” when it came to empty drinks on the table. The food was good, the portions were large. We sometimes had difficulty eating them.

We were guests again last weekend. The dinner was a dream; the steak was cooked to perfection and of the highest quality. The service is more than attentive and strives to fulfill every wish. It's like coming home; you receive a warm welcome. The location is perfect; you're just a few steps from the town, yet the hotel is still quiet. Free parking right by the hotel is perfect. Unfortunately, the visit to the restaurant was very disappointing. The food was mediocre. I ordered a salad without onions, but unfortunately, the salad contained vegetables that had onions in it. The chef then came to our table, unfortunately without an apology, but loudly complaining that there were no onions in his salad. It's a shame that they treat guests like that. Simply lacking in class from the chef and owner. He didn't even introduce himself. We won't be back! 👎🏾 That was completely wrong!!!!

Normally we don't give reviews quickly. After we have just had a delicious meal, we look at the restaurant's review page and see that the table next to us has given a one-star review. It's a shame that they do this; the people are genuinely and politely helped by the staff. Order was wrong, it contained onions. The lady finishes her plate and only indicates this when the plates are picked up. Then the waiter and the cook apologize. In a polite tone, contrary to what the lady puts in the review. If anyone was not behaving properly, it was the customer, video calling with your grandchildren in the middle of a restaurant. Anyway... we had a delicious meal, good service and a nice evening. We had dinner tonight at the restaurant. The food was great, the service during dinner as well, but we were unpleasantly surprised when we wanted to order dessert and they told us the kitchen was closed and the staff had left. We didn't take a lot of time for dinner, but started at 20.30 at their request, because they said they were fully booked before. Nobody asked us if we wanted to order dessert early or told us the kitchen was about to be closed. I just don't understand why you are in the business of servicing food to people and halfway through service decide that it's been enough for the night.

There are 3 electric car charging stations in the parking lot (which are shown as publicly accessible in all apps), so we wanted to charge there during our visit to Cochem and were rudely sent away by the staff because these charging stations are only for hotel guests. I would definitely not go to this hotel or restaurant. Potential customers lost.

Unfortunately, we were turned away unfriendly and with our mouths full. Never experienced anything like this before. 🤣 We come in, the waitress comes up to us, greets us cautiously, looks at the shift manager, who is eating, and only gets a "no". Since I and my companion want to have a drink at the bar... the waitress looks at the SL, who shakes her head with her mouth full... we get another "no" in embarrassment. We stopped by at lunchtime on Saturday. There was a sign outside that said it was fully booked today. Please reserve your seat via email: ... I ordered for the next day (Sunday evening). An email came back saying that Saturday is fully booked. My reservation for Sunday was not honored. I wrote another email on Sunday. No answer! We went anyway, hoping to get a seat. Unfortunately only with reservation. Luckily there is enough choice in Cochem.

We were there for dinner with seven people. It was really outstanding. Everyone was thrilled. A must for everyone who comes to Cochem. Very highly recommended.

If you speak to them on the phone you cannot make a reservation, but if you just walk in and ask if they have room, they will tell you that you have to make a reservation. Very strange. I didn't have an answering machine, I just had a lady on the phone who said we couldn't make a reservation.

Suggested by our hotel manager, we loved this place, crisp salad, great potato soup, and all the entrees from rumpsteak to medallions were great. Awesome service as well!

What a ball tent. If you call to make a reservation, that is not possible. If you come in in the evening, they ask you in a half-full tent if you have made a reservation, otherwise you cannot eat there. Never go here. I never got an answering machine. But just the owner, just lies.

A wonderful establishment, simply Moselle rustic but with chic. I had a beef roulade with dumplings of red cabbage. Portion was decent but not overloaded. Good quality when purchasing the raw products and praise to the kitchen, well prepared. The dumplings were a little firmer than Schlunzig. No straw Klos.Roulade, no knife needed. A goulash soup in advance to warm up. Precisely.

Cozy interior. Comfortable chairs and enough space between the tables. Friendly, polite and very attentive service staff. As a starter, fried king prawns and as a main course the Argentinian rump steak, tagliatelle with spinach and prawns, and Balkan-style schnitzel. The side dishes we ordered were at the table in no time. Our food was very good in quality and taste. We were very satisfied and can recommend all of these dishes. We'd love to come back. A really nice restaurant with a great price-performance ratio. The portions are sufficient and we always received friendly service. We like to eat here as locals. I recommend making a reservation in advance as the restaurant is very busy. For us one of the best restaurants in Cochem.

Definitely always worth a visit The food is excellent

This is one of the best restaurants in Cochem. People in the area recommended making a reservation, but I still went in without a reservation at 6 p.m. All tables had reservation signs on them, but after some consultation we were able to take a seat at a table. Service was super friendly and the food was great! Just a decent and tasty piece of meat as it should be for little. Price quality is perfect! It's a shame that they want to show everyone that all tables are reserved when that is not the case. In the hour and a half that we were there, 1 additional couple arrived. Perhaps a shortage of staff?
