Super friendly service, highly recommended

We went here for dinner with a large group. The seats were ready for us at the reserved time. We were able to place our individual orders immediately. The waiting time was shortened with pizza rolls and herb butter. The food came quickly for our entire table and it was great. There were no wishes left unfulfilled. The staff is very committed and friendly at all times. We would be happy to come back and can highly recommend “ET Davinci”.

Food with a great view from the terrace of the Moselle, Cochem Castle and all the ships passing by. The staff was very friendly and the pizzas and pasta were extremely tasty. We didn't have to wait long. There was a heater on the terrace, which made sitting outside very comfortable. Definitely coming back!

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend mit der Familie. Das Essen war lecker und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Preise sind angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Bei unserem Kurztrip nach Cochem entdeckten wir zufällig ein charmantes Restaurant, nachdem unser ursprüngliches Ziel aufgrund eines Ruhetages geschlossen war. Spontan fragten wir, ob wir ohne Reservierung noch einen Tisch für zwei Personen bekommen könnten. Glücklicherweise erhielten wir den letzten freien Platz an einem schönen großen Tisch. Ich entschied mich für die Spaghetti Bolognese, während mein Partner eine Pizza Salami bestellte. Die Portion der Spaghetti war riesig – ich konnte sie kaum bewältigen! Die Sauce war hervorragend, und mit einem Hauch von Salz war sie perfekt. Die Pizza war dünn und knusprig, genau wie wir es mögen, auch wenn ein wenig mehr Oregano ihr nicht geschadet hätte. Der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich, was unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich angenehm machte. Die Speisen wurden zügig serviert, und zum Abschluss genossen wir einen hausgemachten Limoncello und Pfirsichlikör. Für insgesamt 35 Euro, einschließlich drei Getränken, war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich unschlagbar. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war angenehm und modern, was von außen kaum zu vermuten war. Es gibt sogar eine überdachte Terrasse, die für eine entspannte Mahlzeit im Freien sorgt. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Besuch und können das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen!

We waren hier omdat er buiten leuk uit zag maar eenmaal binnen was het allemaal erg krap. De pizza was niet hand gemaakt maar een taaie egaal ronde fabriek pizza. De messen waren super bot. Ook voor de deur zaten een paar zeer luidruchtige dronken duitsers die grote glazen bier aan het drinken waren. Maar goed, het restaurant is niks bijzonders en het bezoek niet echt waard.

Dire que c'est mauvais serait exagérés. Les pâtes sont même relativement bonnes. Mais les sauces n'ont pas grand chose à voir avec les recettes originales italiennes. Et évitez les pizzas : elle ressemble davantage à des pizzas surgelés qu'à de véritables pizzas cuite au feu de bois (ou équivalent). La salle est aussi très banale : petite, on s'y marge un peu sur les pieds... Par contre, il y a une chouette terrasse. Le service est un peu expéditif. Mais le personnel est sympathique.

Simply the best pizza we have ever eaten

In 1989 and 1990 I was housed in the Deutsche Bundesbank's training center. We often went to the Pizzeria Da Vinci in the evening to eat pizza. The pizza has become even better than it was back then. Today I am staying in the former training center, which is now called Hotel Vintage. Next door is the former Bundesbank bunker, which can now be visited. As I said, I haven't been there since 1990 and I have to say the staff, the food and the ambience are still great. Klaus Frank

Very friendly and warm host. One of the few restaurants where you can even eat very tasty vegan food. Lovely again!

For the first time in my life I was asked how it tasted, without my mouth full of food at that moment. The pizza speziale was also really special. The pepper had the perfect bite and the base was exactly as it should be. I have to rearrange my top 5 pizzerias, because this one is definitely one of them. 😊

We ended up here by chance and were really impressed. Very nice atmosphere, extremely friendly service and really good pizza! Even with the vegan option. We didn't have a reservation (Friday evening) and were kindly "shoved in". Really very nice and friendly!

Food is quite plain in taste, nothing special. Staff does their best, but is very rushed. The terrace is of course a beautiful place. But beyond that we don't understand the high ratings.

Very nice service and great food! We arrived at a busy time without reservation and the staff always tries to manage placing you even if they are almost at capacity - we got a table and had a nice dinner after initially considering takeaway.

Pizza’s waren zeker niet vers, bodems niet zelf gemaakt en waren dik voor een Italiaan. Bruschetta’s waren fantastisch en vers. Pizza salami geen aanrader en de pizza ham met gorgonzola was oké. Bediening was aardig

Kortom een slechte ervaring! Slechte pizza, droge smaakloze spaghetti, penne met broccoli en tomaatjes was niet vers en opgewarmd in de microgolfoven. Hygiëne laat te wensen over, onfris interieur. Overal stofnetten zichtbaar. Prijs-kwaliteit totaal niet in orde. Wij eten heel graag lekker Italiaans maar deze zaak is de naam Italiaans restaurant niet waardig!

We were in Cochem for the third time, on the occasion of the wine festival. Gastronomically, Cochem is underground. Horrible and it's actually outrageous what is offered to guests. The service at da Vinci was friendly and there was also a schnapps on the house at the end, but that was about it… The pizza (to call it that is a disgrace) was the worst I've ever eaten. Any frozen pizza is better. Unfortunately, the right ingredients and love are in vain here. As a guest you just feel ripped off in the city. I can't begin to understand the good reviews for the Da Vinci...

A feel-good restaurant in a class of its own. I would like to give this 10 stars. Such an attentive and friendly team, Mega delicious pizza, good wine, brilliant ice cream and a top price-performance ratio. Combined with a very good location and a cozy restaurant. You would be my regular pizzeria if I wasn't 400 km away.

We kozen voor piza. Bediening goed. Pizza met weinig zeevruchten een vedwaalde mosse stukjes fietsband eb erg zout. Andere piza met gotgonzola nog zouter. Wij begrijpen de hoge racking niet.

Vriendelijk onthaal en bediening. Lekkere pizza's aan een schappelijke prijs. Wij zaten op het overdekt terras aan de oever van, en met zicht op de Moezel. Je kan bij het online reserveren een plaatsje op het terras reserveren ... zeker doen als het mooi weer is!

Overpriced restaurant. My salami pizza was soggy. I asked the waiter to bake them again. He had to ask first. It was then done. The taste was not good. I've eaten better ones. The pasta with chicken pieces and sauce tasted extremely garlicky. The sauce was super runny. The whole meal was way too expensive for that

So pizza didn't look that visually appealing, but it was quite tasty. The noodles weren't quite cooked through and didn't taste anything spectacular. Service is great and the location is nice if you sit on the terrace.

Delicious Italian cuisine. Lasagna was super hot and tasted good. My blackheads' pizza was also delicious. At an average price of €13, it could have been a bit bigger, but you also pay for the location and the view. The free nightcap after the meal was great.

Overall, a nice restaurant with nice employees who solved their tasks quickly and confidently. We had two pizzas that tasted relatively neutral (not much flavor). Tomato sauce and a little more spices would have been good for that certain something. Overall, recommended!

Wir waren ein langes Wochenende in Cochem und diese Pizzeria lag auf dem Weg zum Hotel. Im Vorfeld waren wir in einem anderem Resturante essen und es war fürchterlich ! Auf dem Rückweg sind wir noch in die Pizzera gegangen und waren freudig Überrascht. Der Chef sehr freundlich und zuvorkomment obwohl wir nur Bruschetta gegessen haben , ein-zwei Gläser Wein getrunken haben . Wir sind gar nicht mehr wo anders essen gegangen ! Einmal war alles besetzt und wir sollten in einer halben Stunde und da war der Tisch schon für uns reserviert . Wir waren an allen drei Abenden dort! Zum: Haben Pizza/Pasta/Salat/Nachtisch gegessen und es hat uns alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Fahren wir nochmals nach Cochem wissen wir jetzt schon wo ich mit meiner Frau zum essen hin gehe !!

The staff was very accommodating and friendly even though the restaurant was full. After a short wait we got a table, even one on the terrace with a beautiful view. It's best to reserve in advance. Lekker eten, leuke tent en aardig personeel

Wie gehen sehr gerne hier Pizza essen. Die ist einfach nur lecker. Des öfteren bestellen wir auch und holen die Pizza nach kurzer Zeit ab Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ohne Reservierung war es schwierig einen Tisch zu bekommen. Aber es wurde zufällig zeitnah einer frei, der für uns reserviert wurde. Nach ein paar Minuten warten war der Tisch fein und unser. Der Hund war überhaupt kein Problem. 👍🐕 Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell ohne gehetzt zu wirken, höflich und zuvorkommend . Die Speisen waren sehr gut, der Preis absolut in Ordnung! Gerne kommen wir bei Gelegenheit wieder hierher! Alles top! Bleibt bitte so!

So, wir haben in Cochem mehrere Restaurants besucht, zum Teil mit erschreckendem Ergebnis. Das Da Vinci rühmt sich nicht umsonst, das beste Restaurant zu sein. Zu Beginn gleich persönliche Begrüßung, Tisch vorbereitet (Reservierung ist zu empfehlen) und höfliche Umgangsformen, die nicht überall selbstverständlich sind. Genug Zeit, sich am Tisch die passenden Getränke und Speisen auszusuchen. Wir haben noch nie so gut gegessen wie hier. Pasta und Pizza perfekt und auf dem Punkt. Getränke kommen schnell und der Service ist Spitzenklasse, hier fallen Wissen und Erfahrung gleich auf. Vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen, wir haben die Zeit im Da Vinci genossen!!!! P.S: Wir haben nur deshalb etwas mehr bezahlt, weil wir nichts ausgelassen haben, inklusive Whiskey!!! Sonst preislich bemerkenswert fair!!!!!
