Very nice hotel with good food and service. Great view of the Reichsburg. 10 minutes walk to the old town. In the neighboring building there is a great wellness area with free bathrobes and towels. Cozy hotel bar in the main building, well stocked. Good address, gladly again.

Top location, great view, great service, delicious food!!! Unfortunately caught an outdated shower cubicle with a falling shower head and falling side jets. Why there are bathroom scales in the bathroom (?), I have no idea. I wouldn't book it exclusively as a wellness holiday either, it's too small and too narrow. We would book it again at any time. For us it was a nice stay.

No pastries or the like. available with coffee. The ordered coffee and cappuccino took a long time to finally arrive. When it was brought, the melted whipped cream spilled over the cup and saucer. "It's been walked over," said the waiter, who wasn't too pleasant. It remained that observation, and drank the cappuccino from a dripping cup. The man was standing outside smoking. If things go like this in Cochem, we will book a hotel somewhere else for 2 weeks. The decoration in the hall promised cosiness. The management did not go along with this. So we left and found a nice hotel in Trier. Tip for the staff: you never know when someone who plans to book a hotel will first check the level of service and hospitality.

The hotel is in a very nice location, but is already showing its age. The staff is nice, but there are not enough of them. Unfortunately, the sauna area can be reached via a road of approx. 30m, which is a bit uncomfortable. The wellness area itself is beautifully designed, but the saunas were too cold and the steam sauna was not in use at all.

Room was clean and tidy. A bit "old fashioned" and a bit small. Bathroom also small. Staff very friendly and helpful. Service excellent from reception to check out. Breakfast and dinner buffet excellent. Location very good and beautiful. View of the castle of Cochem. Highly recommended

Great hotel Stayed in Triton and had room 22. This room had a bath and large terrace and there was also a refrigerator. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was also very tasty and extensive. We will definitely come back!!

The location of the hotel is GREAT! Quiet yet centrally located. Room with dog: We had a large room with a large bathroom, but unfortunately no balcony. The service very good. My husband and a few friends wanted to do some wellness, unfortunately it was a shame because we had booked two separate rooms. The first problem started at the reception. The employee who greeted us was very rude and treated us like idiots. The room wasn't bad. Dinner costs 34.50 euros per person, but no drinks. It says that there is a parking space for the car, but when we got there they said there was no space, you have to park on the street, which costs 3 euros per day (of course if you find a space on the street ). Anyway, we thought we should at least go to the sauna. We met in the wellness building because everyone had moved to another building. The steam room was broken and the saunas weren't hot enough. There was a small pool and limited sunbeds. (Recreation room) Normally we wanted to rest, but we got tired and there wasn't even a staff in the spa who could explain our problems to us. Honestly, I can't recommend it. It was a waste of money I spent on the weekend. Never again!

What a wonderful stay it was with you again in a lovely room. Looking out over the Moselle to the castle on the other side from the terrace with a glass of wine or a nice beer. The friendly and helpful staff do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. After a day of hiking it is wonderful to relax in the swimming pool and sauna.

The hotel is quietly yet centrally located in Cochem, directly on the Moselle with a view of the castle. In the evening you can take a short walk directly along the Moselle bank path. It is only a few minutes walk to the old town. The hotel has its own underground car park. Bus tour groups are also very welcome. The restaurant service is very friendly and familiar. There is a very rich buffet in the morning and evening.🥐🥩 The external entrances are designed to be handicapped accessible. A parking lot for coaches is approximately 250 m away from the hotel. The rooms are generously proportioned. You can also move in the shower.

Room: Our room was very spacious, equipped with a table, armchairs, TV, bedside tables and a large double bed, a wardrobe with a safe and plenty of storage space in the passageway to the large, modern, renovated bathroom. Everything to our complete satisfaction. Staff: Very friendly, helpful, attentive but unobtrusive. Breakfast: A wide range of bread and rolls, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, quark and yoghurt, eggs, milk, coffee, juices and water, sparkling wine, and small delicacies. Everything your heart desires. Dinner: In the form of a large buffet, various dishes were offered every evening, meat dishes from the ring, pork and poultry, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes, various side dishes, a very delicious cheese platter, a rich salad buffet and tempting desserts. Location: Fantastic view of the old town of Cochem and the Reichsburg on the opposite bank of the Moselle. In just a few minutes you can reach the old town on foot over the old Moselle bridge and can reach Cochem or the jetties there. Outdoor area: In front of the hotel, alcoves surrounded by vine leaves invite you to linger in sunny weather with coffee and cake or a glass of Moselle wine.

Food tastes good, but high flow like canteen

A great hotel where you can escape from everyday life. The hotel staff was always extremely friendly and accommodating. We had booked with half board and both the breakfast and the various components for dinner were very tasty. The rooms are clean, but not particularly modern, but rather a bit more old-fashioned, which suited us perfectly to the view of the Reichsburg. The wellness area is very nicely designed. For us personally, the water temperature in the pool of 28 degrees C was a bit too cool and unfortunately the steam bath didn't work... but the relaxation room was a little oasis to relax. We traveled with a dog and the activities around the hotel are very dog ​​friendly. In addition, there is a beautiful promenade in front of the hotel for walking directly on the Moselle. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Had a great weekend, pleasantly busy.

The double room we booked was a four-bed room, which is why it was quite large. The mattresses were very good for our taste! The bathroom also offered enough space and consisted of a toilet, sink and shower. The water had a lot of pressure and was very fast and very warm. We had half board with breakfast and dinner buffet, which we were more than satisfied with. The buffet area is quite narrow, but there was always everything your heart could desire. The staff during dining time were always very friendly and cleared away used dishes very quickly. The spa area with saunas, relaxation room, swimming pool and steam bath (unfortunately currently broken) was nice - but we would have liked a whirlpool and more comfortable loungers. Regarding parking, we would like to mention that there are free parking spaces about 200 m away and you don't necessarily have to pay for an underground parking space. You can also park cheaply along the street. The location, right on the Moselle, opposite the old town, is great! About 200 m (opposite the parking lot) you come to the bridge that leads over the Moselle directly into the old town. Overall we were very satisfied!

Location doesn't make up for everything, I expect more for the price. Our room was relatively small. The bathroom badly needs renovation. The shower rod was completely loose, but the shower head couldn't be adjusted in height. The carpenter should also work on the swollen door frame. The economy button on the cistern doesn't work and the ventilation in the yard is very loud. The breakfast is sufficient and good, the staff is very nice and attentive.

Good accommodation in a beautiful city

We had a wonderful weekend at the hotel. All services booked were provided, my sensitivities were even taken into account during our 5-course candle-light dinner and a different main course was prepared for me. We didn't like two little things: our room smelled very musty and the dining room was sometimes very loud. But we will definitely come back

The hotel was in a perfect spot. Our room had a balcony with a wonderful view of Cochem, the Mosel River and the Cochem Castle. The room was large and comfortable and included a great breakfast each morning. The staff was great and we parked in their underground garage so we didn't have to fight to find a parking spot. I preferred this side of the river because of the view and it was a short and scenic 10 min walk to the center of Cochem. What a great spot.

Hotel that is getting old. Rooms deserve a maximum of 3 stars. Need to be renovated. Food (buffet in the evening) was more of canteen quality for us. Service disappointing due to lack of staff. We sometimes had to converse with the staff in English. The bar in the hotel was criminally neglected. All the employees were friendly. But that's not enough! We won't come back here.

Location very nice, nice little old town and excursion destinations nearby. Rooms very spacious, unfortunately with outdated carpeting and not very modern, all in all fine. Unfortunately, the service in the restaurant was very slow, we had our drinks during the main course. We were asked to pay (drinks) well before the end of the meal and the tables were already cleared to accommodate the guests who were still sitting. The dessert was moldy, nothing was said or asked for compensation, only the tray was cleared away. Unfortunately the food and service were not up to par for a 4 star hotel.

A friend and I spent 2 nights here. We didn't realize that there were 2 hotel buildings. Although the sauna and pool were in our building, breakfast had to be eaten in the other building. The hotel is getting older. You can really hear everything that happens in the neighboring rooms and in the hallway. There is no telephone in the room, no coffee maker, no refrigerator, no air conditioning. The breakfast was okay - rather modest for people with lactose intolerance or vegans. The staff was sometimes unemotional and even unfriendly. Communication is totally difficult. Is it because of my standard German? I was never immediately understood and I don't speak quietly or slurred. I myself barely understood what some of the non-German-speaking employees were trying to express. The only plus point: the sauna is really great and when we said goodbye there were 2 small bottles of water and muesli bars for the journey home - that was nice! But where the 4 hotel stars and the completely absurd room price per night come from is a mystery to me. These points are probably simply due to the location.

Hello, "Brixiade" was a wonderful address for us for a 3-night stay. Breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired, the waitresses were very friendly. The location of the hotel, right on the banks of the Moselle, with a view of the Reichsburg, the cycle path on the doorstep, the bridge to the old town and the same always in view from the hotel room - nothing more is possible.

We stayed in the Triton Hotel. This is a 2-minute walk from the Brixiade Hotel where all meals are held.

Beautifully located, the view is breathtaking, very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. From here you can get everywhere on foot. Feel good guaranteed.

Rooms very dated, in warm weather no air conditioning or fan, so very warm. We were in the Triton not in the hotel, you do not know in advance where you are going, you have to walk 5 minutes to the hotel for food, in itself no point, but definitely not 4 stars!!. no reception available, no telephone in the room to be able to call reception in case of emergency. staff do not understand you and often cannot speak German Rooms/bathrooms neat and clean Breakfast fine but poor buffet, food was cold every evening, nothing helped if you indicated this. Unhealthy food snack bar meal, so after 2 times I went to eat in the city. There is nothing to do in the hotel in the AVPND. Terraces close early, many elderly people have nothing to do in the area, no entertainment, beautiful surroundings but you also want to see something, then you have to rely on your car, unfortunately this holiday was a big mistake, fortunately nice weather but no Brixton Hotel again a waste of money

Well appointed, if a bit dated, hotel located across the river (short walk) from the downtown area, which is nice because it is more serene and you have the view of the town and castle. Enjoyed the spa.

We went on holiday for two for 6 days/5 nights with half board. Cochem is a very nice place and the location of the hotel is very good. There are sufficient parking spaces available. Room rating: The rooms offer a good standard, which is completely sufficient. Since we were guests during a very hot week, we sometimes missed air conditioning. But this would not be the reason for a worse rating. Wellness: We had our room in the Triton. We had to go to the nearby Brixiade to eat, which wasn't a problem. The advantage of the Triton clearly outweighs this. The wellness area is in the house and very easy to reach. The pool was a welcome way to cool off during this hot week. Sauna area is also good. Location: As already written, the location is perfect. Very good parking options. Also free if you want to take a short walk. Close to the center of the “happening”. Service: We would like to divide the service into 4 “teams”. 1. Room cleaning. There's not much to write about. Everything is fine. 2. Reception (reception): Very friendly. There was a small misunderstanding regarding our online booking, but this was resolved immediately. Everything is fine here too. 3. Dinner service: The dinner service is very nice and very friendly. Everyone goes out of their way to pamper their guests and give them wonderful days. Everything is fine here too. 4. Service at the buffet (breakfast and dinner) Concerns the “team” who is responsible for the buffet and refilling food, drinks, plates, etc. There is clear criticism on our part here. The hotel is quite allright and amazing views from the terrace. Beds are are not great and pillows awful if you care abt that. Service cant be bothered and dinner is only until 20.30. Overall ok but better places in the area

Predominantly older residents, beautiful view, large room with terrace overlooking the Moselle. Too bad that in Triton there was no possibility to have a drink on the terrace. It was generally very warm in our room. It was hardly possible to open the windows at night because some kind of cooling or ventilation in the inner courtyard made a lot of noise and unfortunately also inconsiderate guests in the middle of the night - but the hotel can't really do anything.

A lovely hotel, slightly dated but everything neat and clean. We were in the Triton and that also included the wellness. We were able to make great use of that. Our room had a beautiful balcony with a view over the Mosel and Cochem and the castle. The staff are all equally nice and helpful. And what I really liked was if you wanted to skip cleaning the room for a day. Could you hang a bag on the door handle with a text stating that no cleaning is required today? And you got a bag of candy for that. Not necessary, but very nice and thoughtful! Definitely recommended.

The hotel we have enjoyed staying at for years. We stay there several times a year. Not a single comment, 1 little service terrace could be better, sometimes a long wait.

Squeaky clean everywhere. Both check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. The table service by Mr. Barhak Teresh was very pleasant. Knows his trade and has good knowledge of the regional wines. We will definitely go back.

Amazing view of the castle from the hotel. There is also 60 degree, 90 degree, and wet saunas , as well as a small pool. It’s great for relaxation after a long day hiking around. It does close around 2000 if I’m not mistaken.

Beautiful view of the Reichsburg in Cochem

Double hotel complex Brixiade&Triton, in one you can eat, in the other there is a swimming pool and sauna. The Triton where we stayed is older, which is evident in the furnishings. I had booked an arrangement with a view of the Moselle and a castle view (also advertised), unfortunately the Reichsburg could only be seen from the far corner of our own balcony due to the balcony of another room in front of us. Ultimately, I am dissatisfied with the price-performance ratio and would not book it again.

Great location, underground parking, clean. Unfortunately some unfriendly staff. The first words were "they're too early." Hardly any staff at breakfast, with trainees who can't bring a cappuccino in 30 minutes or waiters who barely speak German. Once used, the tables were not re-set and were only cleared slowly, so that the tables in the first rows with a view of the Moselle and the castle had to remain empty. Even if you asked, you were directed to tables further back that were set. We thought that was a shame. Rooms are very old. The shower was so small that you couldn't even bend down to pick up anything you dropped. From 10 p.m. the main entrance was closed and you had to use a poorly signposted side entrance. An explanation at check-in would have been nice. My husband had a birthday during the stay. I think for a 4* hotel you might expect them to have this on their radar. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. All in all okay, but unfortunately nothing more and not really justified for the high price.
