We spontaneously went there for dinner on the weekend - we got a seat without a reservation and the service was very attentive, friendly and fast. The food was just as delicious and typically Mexican but not overly seasoned! Value for money is good - the portions are reasonable. There is also a cocktail happy hour.

We ate burritos and tacos. Amazing!

Loud, small, we sat right next to the door, which unfortunately doesn't close by itself. But since, as was to be expected in Neukölln, none of the guests entering closed the door behind them, so we were busy the whole time either closing the door ourselves or asking people to please close the door. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good either, the (homemade) nachos were quite hard and either completely oversalted or completely without salt. The main courses weren't convincing either; everything tasted pretty uninspired. We didn't get the impression that high quality ingredients were used here. The service was quite nice - measured by Neukölln standards. But overall disappointing, we won't go there again. For the quality of the food, the prices were simply too high.

Very authentic restaurant. Good service & delicious food. In summer there are great outdoor spaces on the beautiful Weidenallee.

We went to El Pancho for the first time today based on a recommendation and certainly not the last time. The food is freshly and deliciously prepared in a single kitchenette, and the portions are generous. Sangria absolutely recommended. The service enchanting. Soon we'll be going there for cocktails at happy hour.

Disappointing and unprofessional! I had been looking forward to trying this hot dog stand for a long time since it offers halal options and is right near my work. Today was finally the day – but what a disappointment! I patiently joined the queue and waited for 6-8 minutes. When it was finally my turn, the employee told me I had to wait because he had to get another order ready first. This took another 3-4 minutes. No apology, no professional treatment - just waiting for no reason. After this unfriendly treatment, I decided to forego the hot dog. That's not how you treat customers! Anyone who values ​​good service should think twice about whether they want to spend their money here. I for one will avoid this store.

Unfortunately, I have to revise my 5 star rating from a few years ago: the portions are getting smaller and smaller, but the prices are rising, that's one thing and understandable. That you are served lukewarm food where the gratinated cheese is as tough as the sole of a shoe. In general, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly and some of the dishes are presented carelessly. Some time ago it was so full here on Friday and Saturday evenings that you definitely had to reserve a table in advance. This is definitely no longer necessary and in my opinion the reasons for this clearly lie in the quality of the drinks and food. More attention should also be paid to the cleanliness and functionality of the toilets. The waitresses are friendly and accommodating - but that doesn't outweigh the above points.

Authentically Mexican, lovingly furnished and decorated. Nice staff. There is a sufficient map where everyone can find something. Also many vegetarian dishes. Delicious cocktails.

We stopped by spontaneously and were warmly welcomed. We, the group of 5, got a nice, big place. The employee was extremely friendly & the cocktails (around 100) looked delicious. The food was excellent, large portions. Price performance was very good. All in all highly recommended! :)

So far this is the best Mexican I’ve had in Germany—and I’ve been hunting (cologne, Berlin, Bremen, Munich). As an American, I was really happy with all the food I ate here, AND found the free salsas to be indicative of authenticity. The staff also spoke Spanish. I got a chicken quesadilla (not my usual) and it was fantastic. My friends got tacos & burritos, all the meats we tried were great. Quick service & nice to sit outside. Will definitely be back.

Been here a few times and have always tried to give the place a chance food wise as my family find this restaurant good. The conceptual thought at this location feels to be more the attraction to something unusual rather than different ie along the lines of an individuals interpretation rather than originality. I‘m not going to slam the place too hard as I am, as I see, from the other reviews made, a minority, however… a smidgen of authenticity regarding flavours would be welcome! Shame really as speaking from first hand experience in Mexico of the amazing firework of awesome flavours featured in the cuisine that is more than on par with the other countries kitchens who pair off a myriad of freshness, consistencies, herbs and spices. The injustice continues with the Bourdain homage BS falling somewhat flat, as too the promise made on the menu compared to what comes actually plated out of the kitchen, the faux journey starting already with the complimentary basket of nachos con supermarket and its accompanying curious salsa. Introducing the insects onto the menu is a good gag but how about putting some of the rightful flair into the standing bill of fare? After all, the german taste profile has come a long way since the early 90s, kinda insulting really to hold so much back, its really is not so risky anymore ie the danger of alienating the punters for coriander, oregano cumin, epazote, smoked Chili & Co.
