Great atmosphere, wide menu to choose from, delicious food and really good drinks. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to experience Mexican cuisine. It is a special place, worth discovering. I really enjoyed there

Long wait and very expensive for bad food Not recommendable

Bad service, long waiting time, orders were not taken into account, we had to order drinks several times so that we could get them, sometimes we received incorrect orders. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

Ein Erlebnis dieser Ort - liebevoll eingerichtet und kurioser Mix aus griechischer Gastfreundschaft und mexikanischem Flair. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, viel Auswahl auch für Vegetarier und aufmerksamem Service. Hier kommen wir auf jeden Fall nochmal hin.

The atmosphere is just incredible, I felt like I was not in Germany anymore. The food is exquisite and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend if you want to try Mexican Cuisine 🌮 I will definitely come back!

Unfortunately, there's more to a great evening than just the food... Incredibly bad service and an incredibly unfriendly boss who either doesn't love his job or doesn't understand it.

The service was very attentive and courteous. If you don't want to miss out on good food, you should bring a little time with you, which can be easily passed with a good appetizer and nice conversations. The atmosphere is authentically rustic with attention to detail.

Unusual location with great food. Nothing for the Schicki Micki faction. Even the house facade promises a slightly different location. The furniture is rather spartan overall but still comfortable and the overall impression reminds me very much of Mexican restaurants that I was able to get to know in San Diego many years ago. The placemat with the rules of etiquette on it is also great. Just great! Actually, all things that are self-evident, but which are apparently often forgotten today. Written lovingly, cleverly and with a lot of humor. Reading this alone was worth the visit. We would definitely like to come back!

The relationship between the quality of the food and the price does not match. The food tasted good but was absolutely overpriced. For a bunch of tacos with 3 slices of gratinated €16.90 is not possible.

Würde am liebsten garkeine Sterne geben . Gastunfreundlich , Kunde kein König ( wie er auch selbst sagt) und essen dazu auch nicht gut . Laut der Betriebsanleitung für den Restaurantbesuch ( ein Zettel auf dem Tisch ) hält der Inhaber ziemlich viel von seinem Laden . Ich würde nicht nochmal hingehen . Gibt weitaus bessere Mexianer. Apropo die spare ribs vom Lidl sind empfehlenswerter :)

The restaurant is nicely decorated, but the music doesn't fit at all. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop at this small detail. The dishes on the menu are described with sometimes quite long texts that are intended to be fun to read, but you often have to work out for yourself what exactly you are ordering. However, the long texts are then surpassed by an extra card on which all possible rules are set out in font size 8. This is also supposed to be funny to read, but you can't help but get the impression that the owner has "processed" all the negative experiences with other guests here. “Why so stubborn?” you inevitably ask yourself. Were there for the first time yesterday and it was a very nice evening. There's a lot to read! Both on the placemats and on the cards. Makes the whole thing immediately likeable and, above all, very individual – something that you don't get that often these days. Very nice, rustic and relaxed atmosphere, very nice service, extremely attentive staff, food was really good, we could hardly decide and are looking forward to further visits. Highly recommended for Mexican food in the MG/Viersen area! Yesterday it was generally cold - it was also a bit chilly in the back of the restaurant. A few guests also had jackets on. You should allow for a little waiting time for your meal, but that's exactly what it says on the menu - just as information for those who are impatient, so serve it before you're really hungry or order a portion of nachos :)

Unfortunately I have to give one star, my husband and I visited the restaurant spontaneously, we weren't even greeted by a lady, instead we were hit on because we hadn't reserved a table online. (Called beforehand and asked for space) Unfortunately, all the employees were very unfriendly, so the mood was already depressed, not only were the prices not worth it, no, the cocktails weren't prepared at all skillfully either. Since the prices for drinks were pretty terrible too, I asked if there was a happy hour... we were then told that the happy hour was only for women and transgender people, our faces were priceless... Unfortunately, it was really serious. Why does the restaurant supposedly stand for diversity, but still excludes the male gender! The visit was terrible, the staff and guests even worse.

I ordered a takeaway order of 500 g of barbecue spare ribs, and a bag of potato wedges and two small tips 23 € that's my house number 🙉 It's a shame that the prices are exploding so much, hopefully there are still enough customers who want to pay that much. For the price I would have expected more

Always delicious food and great cocktails, the staff is super friendly! However, it was very busy, so you have to be patient (we waited 1.5 hours for food and up to 30 minutes for drinks).

However, excellent food, generous portions, slightly larger tables and more space would have been great.

We also got a table without a reservation, the waitress was very nice, Was ordered Pollo Mole, Fajitas, Nachos Especial Margarita as a drink and pulque pineapple and tequila. Parking was not that easy to get!!

We had a lovely evening with delicious food. Service was attentive so we didn't have empty glasses. Even my girlfriend, who reacts to gluten, was able to eat there with a clear conscience.

Having lived outside of Germany and having eaten a lot of Mexican food, I think Mexican restaurants in Germany on average are not very good. This restaurant however, was really, really good. Both the cocktails and the food was great! Best tacos I've had so far while in Germany. Will definitely be back! :)

Slightly anarchic atmosphere but very good food and good, cheap cocktails. Tip: spare ribs with barbecue sauce. Heavy calories but absolutely delicious.

Super leckeres Essen, mega Ambiente und toller Service. Meine Freundin und ich haben uns in die mexikanische Küche verliebt. Gerne nochmal :)

Waren gestern dort essen zum Jahrestag, erster Eindruck mega stark die Farben von außen einfach der knaller und die einrichtung drinnen richtig toll atmosphäre ist auch super. Speisekarte hat mir sehr gefallen vorallem mit den kleinen texten zu den gerichten, viel auswahl sehr schwer sich zu entscheiden. Bedienung war sehr schnell und total nett. Getränke und essen kam super schnell, es war richtig lecker orgasmus gefahr beim essen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Ladenlokal hat einen tollen stimmigen latinoamerikanischen Style. Schön bunt und urig. Von außen allein fällt es schon auf. Das Restaurant war sauber und gepflegt, auch der Toilettenbereich. Die Reservierung war einfach zu machen und bei 12 Leuten war es es am Ende in Ordnung, dass eine Person wegen Krankheit nicht dabei gewesen ist. Da man selber Gastronomieerfahrung hat, sollte mam aber ab 2 Personen Bescheid geben.Tische können so noch anders vergeben werden. Das Personal und die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Man hatte immer volle Gläser, zusätzliche Teller und Servietten wurden direkt ohne Anfrage schon vom Sevice gereicht. Hieran merkt man wie aufmerksam die Servicekräfte sind. Das Essen war super lecker und reichhaltig. Man kann hier ausgefallenes Essen, aber wer etwas vertrautes möchte, kommt auch auf seine Kosten. Kann die letzten Kritiken absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Preis/Leistung stimmt. Qualität, Service und Ambiente fordern für den Wirt auch höhere Kosten, das man nie vergessen darf. Das gesamte Personal war stets freundlich und auch der Inhaber begrüßte die Gäste mit einem Lächeln.

Meine Frau und ich waren das erste Mal in diesem tollen Restaurant. Wir gehen regelmäßig essen und sind immer auf der Suche nach authentischer Küche aus den jeweiligen Ländern. Im Mexican sind wir definitiv fündig geworden. Neben sehr gutem Essen gab es kreative und wirklich leckere Drinks und einen hervorragenden Service. Beim Zahlen hatten wir die Möglichkeit mehr über die Geschichte der Gerichte, wie auch der angebotenen Getränke zu erfahren. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis und absolut zu empfehlen.

Was für ein Erlebnis. Für ein paar Stunden fühlt man sich in eine andere Welt versetzt. Bei sehr gutem Essen und einem schönen Ambiente kann man den Alltag vergessen. 45€ für zwei Personen war es allemal wert.

Einer der außergewöhnlichen Restaurants in Viersen. Gutes Essen in einem schönen Ambiente. Der Humor ist nicht jedermanns Geschmack, gefällt mir aber sehr gut. Auch der Service ist super, Parken ist etwas schwieriger.

Cooler Laden einfach. Essen lecker, außergewöhnliche Atmosphäre und sehr sympathische Gastgeber.

Wichtiges: Die Speisen sind von besonderer Fertigung und Geschmack (meist Mexikanisch - Mediteran - eben besonders) die benutzen Waren sind HOCHWERTIG (ohne Frage) Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk (kenn ihn pers.) Das Ambiente ist "nicht gewöhnlich" - wie es in Mexiko vielleicht sein könnte ...... ????? wer weis das schon ??? und, woher sollen heute "gelernte Kellner" kommen ??? ja meist sind es aber immernoch "nette Aushilfen" klar bei "Mäckes" ist das alles viel besser !!!! P.s. Der Chef ist definitiv " wie du kommst gegangen so wirst du auch empfa- (hinausgeleitet) !!! (und recht hat er) P.s.s. und keiner hat gesagt ich soll das schreiben !

Das einzig positive war der freundliche Service der Servicekräfte Das Essen war früher viel besser, ansonsten hat es für uns keinen Wiederholungsbedarf Der Chef ist nach wie vor völlig überheblich und die Hausregelkarte ist nahezu unverschämt Kleiner Tipp....wer so überheblich ist, sollte soch bemühen, dass 4 Gerichte zeitgleich serviert werden Evtl mehr Wert aufs Essen legen, anstatt auf eine überhebliche Hausordnung

Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung, waren mit ein gemischtes Gesellschaft da (Chinesisch/Deutsch). Bedienung war perfekt und das Essen war sehr lecker.

Ein besonderes mexikanisches Restaurant mit eigenem Charakter. Entweder man liebt es oder nicht - wir sind seit Jahren zufrieden! Zuletzt hat sich viel getan mit schöner Außenterasse im Sommer, aktualisiertem Menü und tollen Aktionen. Auch die Margaritas können sich sehen lassen.

Wenn ich könnte, würde ich auch 6 Sterne geben :-) Wir hatten einen unglaublich schönen Abend bei euch. Das Essen war köstlich, der Service wirklich sehr gut, fast schon freundschaftlich. Ich liebe dieses Restaurant, es hebt sich sehr angenehm vom Standard ab. Es ist aber nichts für Leute, die eine weiße Tischdecke brauchen, um sich wohl zu fühlen.

Hier findet man eine fröhliche Gesellschaft wieder. Das Essen wird stets zügig, fabelhaft und mit Gewissen serviert. Hier kann man besonders gut Spare Ribs oder Garnelensuppe verspeisen. Die Getränke, vor allem die Limonaden sind auch traditionell mexikanisch und äußerst lecker (die Fotos sind von 2018). Das Lokal ist natürlich dem mexikanischen Stil angepasst und lenkt einen für ein paar Stunden von der "echten Welt" ab.
