An Indian who does steakhouse/TeX Mex and every few Changes the name with a plastic sheet for months and actually only lives off Groupon and unsuspecting tourists. Very dirty and run down.

Das Café war super – nur leider gibt es das nicht mehr! Es wäre Zeit, mal sämtliche Einträge zu löschen! Auch das mexikanische Café, welches dann danach kam, gibt es nicht mehr. Ich weiß nicht, warum immer so viele alte Bewertungen noch aufgeführt werden und nicht mal ein bisschen ausgemistet wird.

We ordered two tacos that were actually very tasty, unfortunately both were not gratinated with cheese as it says in the description and the nachos didn't come with a salsa dip... You can get over that but unfortunately it happens almost every time when you order and for €3 I can also buy nachos at Edeka.

There was too little in my last order, and you didn't acknowledge it, claiming that everything is weighed the same with a spoon, but even a blind person can see the stark difference in how little is in this portion. I should complain by email and send a photo, but photos aren't accepted.

Surprise across the board. I'm usually very critical when it comes to bar food - especially in places where the focus seems to be more on the cocktails than the cuisine. You often get mediocre meat, carelessly prepared plates and the feeling that the food is only intended to accompany the drink. When it came to tacos in Essen, I was initially skeptical – and then more than pleasantly surprised. The food here is not just a nice side dish, but is clearly on a par with the drinks - if not above them. The quality of the food honestly blew me away. From the main course to the dessert, everything is just right here: taste, presentation and ingredients. I wouldn't have expected this in a cocktail-focused shop. And that's exactly why Tacos has now become my first choice - be it for a relaxed dinner date or a nice evening with friends or family. A real recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food in a stylish atmosphere.

Save rips and caipirinha. If the meat sticks to the bone and Caipirinha is made with syrup, I'm out. The service was great, the tequila to put it bluntly was that good one with the red hat. Disaster and definitely not authentic.

Today I was in Minden at the Mexican restaurant "Enchilada." It's not "just" a restaurant, it's also a trendy cocktail bar in a fantastic location. The "Enchilada" is located in a medieval, listed warehouse in the Hofviertel district. The almost one-meter-thick walls of the "Enchilada" protect you from the cold in winter and the heat in summer, just like in the Middle Ages. The "Enchilada" has a stunningly beautiful bar, a very tasteful interior, and is very cozy. I ate "Enchiladas Pollo," which consisted of chicken, corn tortillas, Gouda, cheddar, cream cheese, grilled vegetables, refried beans, black beans, spicy tomatillo verde, and chipotle cream. The dessert was also a Mexican specialty: "churros," a shortbread cookie with cinnamon, powdered sugar, and chocolate sauce (for dipping). It was an exceptionally delicious dinner. The waitress was very friendly, and I was able to have a short chat with her about the great location, which I really appreciated. I felt very comfortable at "Enchilada" and can highly recommend it. 💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏

We ate there today and were unfortunately disappointed. Even though we specifically requested that our cocktails be served without ice, they still came with ice. The waitress said she passed the order on like that. The wait for the food was an hour even though the restaurant wasn't even full. The steak was completely dry and inedible. The waitress said she would pass it on, but that doesn't help me in this case as I still had to pay for the meal in full even though I couldn't eat half of it. Here I would have expected that I would be accommodated because of the price, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. If the owner then writes a reply, he can save himself the “copy-and-pace” banter. If you treat your customers' expectations and criteria like this, you shouldn't be surprised if the business goes bankrupt at some point. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. This urgently needs to be improved.
