Good food (one dish perhaps could have been a little warmer), very friendly and quick service, delicious cocktail. So everything was great, we'd love to come back!

We did some shopping in Essen and wanted to have something to eat. This was the fourth restaurant and there was just enough room to eat, the last table because we had not made a reservation. Friendly service and a very cozy tent and atmosphere. Garlic bread and taco chips with chicken for the course, very tasty. Main course Hamburger, tortillas and jambalaya. Everything was really delicious and flavorful. A fun day ending with a delicious dinner.

We were on a weekend trip to Essen. In the evening we came across the restaurant. The waitresses are very kind and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also okay, just a bit too dark for our taste and a bit old. For food: we had cheeseburgers, the burger was very tasty, but the fries were very limp and not very seasoned.

The evening before last I was alone in the restaurant. The service was good. In my opinion it was a bit too dark but otherwise very pleasant and cozy. The food was very tasty. The burrito was a bit dry in taste but very good 👍. Price/performance is okay.

Average store. If you have no talent for recognizing taste and don't have developed taste buds, you can eat well here. It's bland and boring, and if you're lucky, the nachos arrive when they're still a little warm around the edges. The store shines with its alcohol, which you really need to deal with all the disappointments. The service was also rather lackluster and seemed like a mental challenge for the waiter. After all, I really liked the ambience. If you look closely, you could really think you were sitting in a run-down saloon from 1875, except the tequila probably tasted much better back then. If you want quality, I wouldn't recommend this shop but one of the other numerous bars in the city center.

The tacos are the tastiest around! Really flawless, super tasty, I can indulge myself. And the nachos with lots of dips. I have rarely eaten something so delicious... your sour cream, oh my god... delicious 🤩😍 The cocktails are good, nothing really special, but also very, very tasty - I can only judge the non-alcoholic ones :) But it's worth it for the food! Cozy atmosphere, maybe a bit noisy if you stop by at the end of the day and it's full :) It's worth calling, but we've still barely managed to get a seat, even spontaneously. Staff really nice and funny - we love this store! It's been our regular place since it was discovered a year ago :D

Best cocktail bar in NRW. Good prices, good deals, good food and good service. We have been regular guests for years and very quickly took to the conditions. The service was always friendly, courteous and never left any wish unfulfilled. In terms of price-performance ratio, there is no better bar/restaurant in Essen and North Rhine-Westphalia. 100% recommended and also affordable for students. Gladly again

Nice, cozy bar in Tex-Mex style with typical Tex-Mex cuisine and a well-stocked cocktail menu. The cocktails were all excellent. The selection of dishes is based on typical Tex-Mex cuisine. The selection is sufficient and well coordinated. I found the quality of the food to be okay, rather mediocre and aimed at quick, simple cuisine. The portions are sufficiently large. All in all, a visit is recommended. It is best to park in the Central Parking Garage under Kennedyplatz.

I visited this taco restaurant in Essen and was completely satisfied. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The tacos and burritos are simply sensational – fresh, spicy and rich in flavor. The service is friendly and efficient. A must for all taco and burrito lovers in town.

I ordered a burger that was super juicy. The included fries also came out of the deep fryer fresh and crispy and therefore tasted even better. The waiters asked regularly, but not too intrusively, whether everything was OK, which I really appreciated. The ambience is Mexican Western style. Mexican food makes you even more happy. All in all highly recommended! 😁

A popular restaurant in the heart of Essen. The food is good but unfortunately also prepared with conventional products. I would have expected more, especially with the sauces. The meat is already prepared but it tastes good and is fresh. The drinks are very good and fresh. The cocktails are very tasty and are also on offer during happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The waitresses are very friendly and attentive. Wishes are fulfilled immediately if possible. The ambience is getting old but the place is well maintained and clean. The toilets are also very clean. Conclusion: If you don't expect 5☆ cuisine but want good and inexpensive food and drink in the heart of Essen, then Tacos is the right place for you.

Great shop, I felt totally at home there, delicious cocktails, nice service, I never had to wait long for my drink, the waiters were very proactive and offered me something new to drink quite quickly. All in all I give the store a 10/10. I have rarely been so convinced of an entire package. Greetings go out to the owner, you really convinced me and it's difficult 👍

The food was very tasty and the quantity was commensurate with the price. There is an offer for every day. Mondays, for example, are very good for a cocktail evening. The service is also super friendly and regularly asks if everything is ok. I can definitely recommend the restaurant for food and cocktails.

Nice vibe, nice service, relaxed bar in general. Drinks are solid but not exceptional, therefore only 4/5. Still highly recommended for a relaxing evening.

I liked the atmosphere! Cozy and interesting! Services were very friendly and really quick. However, it was still very empty. Food was delicious and value for money was given. Toilets are tiny but clean. Toilets are absolutely not barrier-free. You can try it out.

We've been there a few times. Always received a friendly welcome. Even if you want a table on a Saturday evening without a reservation, every effort will be made to solve the problem. So the service staff are really great. The ambience of the store is really great. Only the toilets could probably use a new coat of paint. The food is really very tasty. Unfortunately the tacos are sometimes a bit soggy and some parts of the food are only lukewarm but overall what you get there is fine. As I said, the food there is really great. The large selection of cocktails is also recommended. Overall, a great bar with good food that invites you to linger with friends.

Happy hour is Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Very large selection of cocktails - with and without alcohol. Mexican style menu plus burger menu. The burgers including fries are under 10 euros, otherwise enchiladas, fajitas, quesadillas, tortillas, nachos, also vegetarian. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service is really nice. Unfortunately the food was just mediocre, that's a real shame!!! By the way, dogs are allowed in here. 😃

Leider ist es nicht mehr das, was es mal war. Nämlich kein mexicanisches Restaurant. Das Jasminreis mit Möhren und Brokkoli typisch mexikanisch ist , ist mir neu. Die Tortillawraps waren kalt, der neue Sourcream Dip hatte was von Zaziki. Der Fleischanteil bei der Fajita- Platte ist auch deutlich geschrumpft. Eigentlich war es eher eine Paprika - Zwiebel Platte. Schade, wir sind immer gerne gekommen. Jetzt müssen wir uns einen anderen Mexikaner suchen.

War mit meinem Mann, daß erste mal dort Waren sehr positiv überrascht, Ambiente, Personal und Essen fanden wir sehr gut 👍 Kommen aufjedenfall wieder👍

Ein wirklich schönes Lokal mit leckeren Cocktails und sehr leckerem Essen. Das Personal einfach herzallerliebst alle zusammen. Wir waren zu zweit über 4 Stunden da, es war ein sehr angenehmer leckerer Abend. Vielen lieben Dank.

Voorgerecht (nachos) kwamen koud aan tafel. 2 minuten later kwamen de hoofdgerechten ook … lauw. Het was in ieder geval heel snel, maar ook heel slecht. Mijn tip: niet gaan!

Das Essen beschert einem keinen Mundorgasmus, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und fix auf den Beinen. Die vorhaltezeit der Speisen ist bei der Füllung während unseres Essens etwas lang, die Beilagen waren hart an der Grenze abgekühlt aber noch essbar. Der Burger war gut. Haben als Kompensation lecker Knoblauchbrot bekommen. Ich würde hier wieder Essen gehen

Das Essen war super und ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Service ist super sympathisch. Hier komme ich nochmal hin.

Eiskalter Burger mit eiskalten Pommes. Bei Reklamation kam dann ein neuer lauwarmer Burger ohne Beilagen. Trinken okay, aber Essen war echt unterirdisch

Coole Location! Liegt zentral, gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Essen war super, die Bedienung schnell und zuvorkommend. Einfach nichts zu meckern.

Der Bacon Cheeseburger war nichts anderes als eine Frechheit. Knackiger Salat, gegrillter Tomate usw., begleitet von einem appetitlichen Foto konnte man in der Speisekarte lesen. Stattdessen kam aber ein Häufchen Fleisch, mit einer Matsche aus den erwähnten Zutaten in einem viel zu großen Burger-Brötchen. Das sollte wohl optisch etwas hermachen. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Kaltes Essen. Bei Nachlieferung auch wieder kalt. Lieber woanders Essen gehen!

Vorige week er geweest voor 8 personen in de avond. Lang moeten wachten om te kunnen bestellen. Toen de ober met rode wijn aan tafel kwam, viel er een glas op een van mijn vrienden. Zijn volledige outfit onder de rode wijn, incusief schoenen. De ober excuseerde zich. Geen probleem, kan gebeuren. Hij zei dat we het gingen vereffenen met de rekening en ging weg. We moesten ons behelpen met servetten want we hebben geen vod of handdoek gekregen... Toen we eindelijk ons eten kregen, was de maaltijd van een andere vriend vergeten. We hebben er nog 2 keer zelf achter moeten vragen, en hij kreeg zijn bord uiteindelijk toen wij al allemaal klaar waren. Toen we wouden betalen zei de ober dat we 2 maaltijden niet moesten betalen (omwille van de wijn en het lange wachten. Hij excuseerde zich uitgebreid en vertelde ons dat we een mail mochten sturen voor de kosten van de droogkuis. Ze zouden hiervoor verzekerd zijn en mijn vriend zou alle kosten terug krijgen. Hier waren we heel tevreden mee. We betaalden (kregen we rekening pas in handen na het afrekenen) en vertrokken, omdat de ober zei dat we ons moesten haasten omdat de parking zou sluiten. Achteraf in het hotel controleerden we de rekening. Tot onze verrassing bleek dat we 37,87 euro fooi betaald hadden! Wij hebben op geen enkel moment gezegd dat we fooi wouden geven... Uiteindelijk hebben we nu dus ook voor die 2 andere maaltijden betaalden, en daarboven dan nog extra fooi betaald. Wij hebben hier nooit toestemming tot gegeven. Er was van hun kant uit dus geen enkele compensatie voor de bevuilde (en waarschijnlijk kapotte) kledij. Integendeel, ze hebben ons zelfs nog meer laten betalen dan we eindelijk zouden moeten! Heel teleurgesteld hierin. Vooral ook omdat ik hierna een mail stuurde naar ze zaak om de situatie uit te leggen en om uitleg te vragen, en wij hier nog steeds geen antwoord hebben op mogen ontvangen Hier zien ze ons niet meer terug!

Burittos und Tacos waren top. Keine Ahnung ob man die Nachos auf Nachfrage hin auch warm bekommen kann. Bisschen mehr Salz darf ruhig an die Nachos. Cocktail der Woche kann man ruhig mit nehmen. Personal mega freundlich gewesen
