Friendly and the atmosphere is super cool. The store looks clean and tidy. Nobody speaks German, only English and Spanish. This still makes communication difficult. Bring plenty of time, as the food takes a long time to arrive in a smaller group of 8 people. The food is carelessly prepared and tastes just okay. Not really convincing. Prices with drinks and food per person can be under €15. With a coffee and a margarita it comes to just under €25.

I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service exceptional. We ordered the nachos, and they were simply delicious: the crispy tortillas, the perfectly melted cheese, and the fresh garnishes gave it the perfect touch. We also tried the margaritas, and how good they were! Balanced, fresh and with just the right touch of tequila. Also, I can't recommend Jaime's quesadillas enough, a true delight. The filling was perfectly seasoned, and the tortilla was golden to perfection. Overall, an excellent place to enjoy authentic Mexican food. I will definitely return!

The Casita Mexikana in Golzheim is definitely worth a visit! The food was simply outstanding, with authentic flavors that perfectly reflect Mexican cuisine. Every dish we tried was freshly prepared and presented with great attention to detail. The service was equally outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive and always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. A small downer, however, is the rising inflation that is becoming noticeable. Prices have risen and it's a shame that you can no longer afford to visit there as often. Nevertheless, the quality of the food and the service make Casita Mexikana a special place that you should treat yourself to every now and then. Overall a great experience, even if the prices can be a bit of a challenge at times!

The food was very, very tasty, the staff was very, very friendly and everything was clean. Even though the place was packed, the food came very quickly. Can only recommend the store.

I was there for the first time. I was thrilled. Very nice staff, great ambience, clean and really great food. Very well seasoned with fresh ingredients. I would actually like to deduct half a star because I didn't like the daiquiris. This is certainly a matter of taste, but I found the strawberry daiquiri very tasteless and very watery. But that was really the only criticism. The other cocktail I had and my friend's non-alcoholic cocktails were great.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem sehr netten Service, sowie dem guten Essen. Das es keine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten gibt, spricht sehr für eine gute Küche. Die Tequila- und Mezcalauswahl war ebenso perfekt. Außerdem waren wir als begeisterte Tequila-Trinker sehr überrascht das es dort den wirklich guten gab und nicht den 0815 Tequila den man nur mit Salz und Zitrone runterkriegt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Das Ambiente ist sehr authentisch und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das zumindest unser Tisch sehr eng in der Ecke stand und wir uns wirklich reinquetschen mussten. Auch die gute Lage, nahe der Rhein-Promenade gefiel uns sehr gut und lud direkt zu einem Spaziergang ein. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

We were there with 6 guests on Friday evening and were warmly welcomed. Our waiter was "Muy Bien"! The food came to the table in no time and was really delicious. We shared the mixed appetizers “Mix de Botanas” and the “Nachos Tres Quesos” and you could have eaten your fill of those too. The main courses were mixed plates, quesadillas and bowls - all great. My recommendation “Conchinita Pibil”! The cocktails were also very tasty - Mescal Mule was really good. All in all, an entertaining and delicious stay. I just found the chairs uncomfortable and we all tripped over the small step in front of the toilet. But that's it for the shortcomings.

Nice Mexican, the food is really tasty. A little more attention to detail on the plates would be great, apart from a burrito and a bowl of sauce there was nothing on the plate. Otherwise nice staff, a nice shop, you can do very well! 😊

The allergen information is very clearly marked on the menu, and it also makes sense. I had done some research online and found Casita Mexicana in FindMeGlutenfree and other forums. It is not a specialised restaurant but my experience was good. I could order nachos, tacos, quesadillas (one sort), bowls or salads with several filling options. I found my quesadillas very tasty 😋 but most importantly, no uninformed questions were asked by the staff when I mentioned gluten-free.

We love the food at Casita Mexicana and have eaten there many times! 😊 The Casita in Golzheim is also larger than the others, so you can usually always reserve a place.

Essen schwankt zwischen gut und sehr gut - könnte noch konsistenter sein. Service ist freundlich, aber nicht super aufmerksam; es könnte schneller sein, ist aber ok. Wir hatten eine online Buchung für die Terrasse gemacht (war anzukreuzen) und auch einen bestätigenden Wunsch hinzugefügt. Als wir kamen, hieß es "Ihr Tisch ist drinnen". Zum Glück war draußen auf er Terrasse noch etwas frei. Es bleibt aber der Eindruck leichter Desorganisation.

Exquisite Mexican restaurant. Wide variety of dishes with vegetarian alternatives. Very friendly and attentive staff, certainly a place to repeat.

The tacos were extremely dry, there was hardly any salsa on them. Unfortunately the taste was very disappointing. Instead of tacos with prawns, I got tacos with tomatoes. Every time I'm at Casita and ask the waitress or kitchen to serve the tacos warm or stuffed, I get annoyed or angry looks. For an order of €15.50 and such small tacos, I find this disappointing. When you order takeout, the staff doesn't seem to care whether the food tastes cold, good or bad. What's the point of offering tacos if you can't even get the tortillas done properly - dry and without salsa? I prefer to snack on a simple tortilla, it actually tastes better. I also know that two slices of lemon are usually served with it, but today I didn't get any again. Instead there were a few diced onions, maybe 10 small pieces, and that was it. The prawns were also extremely dry. How you manage to get them so dry is a mystery to me. A disappointment. If anyone asks me if I recommend Casita to try good Mexican cuisine, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Spending so much money for so little quality is not worth it. If you want tacos, you're better off finding a recipe online. For less than €30, you can buy ingredients for up to 7 people at Aldi, 3 well-filled tacos each with delicious meat or vegan alternatives - and even have leftovers. €15.50 for four dry mini tacos is completely excessive. The only positive thing I can say about the store is the friendly service - as long as you don't ask for anything specific. However, as soon as you ask for a special preparation or a little more filling, you either get unfriendly looks or the prices suddenly become unnecessarily high. It's a shame, Casita was still a great store in 2015. Who knows what happened that the store has now become so tasteless. Maybe the chefs are tired of it, or maybe no one wants to properly represent Mexican cuisine. Very disappointing.

Great food and service. Very accommodating of young children (gave us a set of crayons and markers). Easy to eat their with celiac disease (gluten free) as well.

The outside area is right at an intersection where a tram runs every 5 minutes. We sat outside as it was a great summer evening. I think the prices are borderline. I had 2x 20 centimeter wraps. I used two fillings, which cost additional money, even though I couldn't fit much into the wraps. So I came to €22 for these 2 wraps with little filling. There was just a little bit of sauce, nothing else. For the price I get 1 3/4 pizzas or more than 2 good kebabs. In terms of quantity, this was more of an appetizer. So it was way too expensive because it didn't taste particularly Mexican. We won't be coming back. 70€ for a salad, 2 wraps, a brownie and 4 drinks.

Casita mexicana is one of my favourite places in Düsseldorf and for sure the best for Mexican food. We love the nachos, the burritos 🌯 , the quesadillas and the cocktails there. My favourite is margarita 🍹 classic or tequila sunrise. I totally recommend it. 👌

The food is super tasty and authentic, the prices are completely reasonable for the portions. Service is quick and friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy, the outdoor area is clean and also attractive, even though it is located directly on a busy intersection, the traffic is hardly noticeable.

Somos clientes desde hace mucho tiempo de casita Mexicana, solemos ir a Altstad o a pempelfort pero era difícil aparcar así que tenemos cambio al de Golzheim. Desde la mendicidad hemos tenido malas experiencias con nuestros camareros, las mujeres que necesito tener claro esto. Cada vez que por las últimas 5 veces hemos ido ahí vamos porque me gustan las Margaritas congeladas, bueno por las últimas 5 veces me dijeron de mi camarero tenemos demasiados clientes y el tierno bar no hará margaritas Frozen z puedes tomar margarita congelada de mango o fresa pero no la tradicional. Bueno nos gusta lo tradicional, entenderé si pasó pero cada vez que estamos allí nos dicen de mala manera lo mismo, la última vez que estuve allí con mis hijos y le pedí al barman que hablara conmigo así que salió e hizo mi margarita congelada sin pelusa. La mujer camarera que solemos tener una mujer alta, de pelo largo y negro no es amable , no es agradable con los clientes, su forma de dar servicio a los clientes es grosera y no educada. Pedimos frijoles refritos en todas las demás casitas mexicanas ya que vienen calientes en esta los frijoles donde realmente fríos , le dijimos a nuestra mesera misma mujer que a menudo está allí y por lo general es lamentablemente nuestra mesera, su respuesta fue que servimos los frijoles fríos aquí. 🧐😒 Si puedes evitar esta ubicación hazlo este no es un restaurante que valga la pena su dinero para ser servido como si usted está recibiendo comida gratis. Super tasty, fresh food - we had barely had the starter when the main course was already there. It was great from start to finish - and we'd love to come back.

It was okay here so far. Unfortunately, our starter came after our main course. They were nachos with cheese, beans and guacamole and the nachos were soggy. We made a reservation via Google and you were given a reservation code that no one in the restaurant could do with.

I loved the place, except that when we arrived, we arrived relatively early and it was practically empty, even so they almost served us, don't blame the waiters, it's the owner's fault for not hiring more staff, and then later it was clearly full, and when We ordered dessert, they told us that they didn't have any left 😒😒😒😒 like a restaurant on a weekend, the more people come they won't have enough food 🙄🙄🙄 but I hope that next time they will have dessert for me, everything was definitely very delicious 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Wir bestellen hier seit 2 Jahren 1 x pro Woche immer das gleiche Gericht. Preissteigerung um 40% mag noch ok sein. Teilweise (crema d‘atun) aber 40% weniger Inhalt das ist Abzocke.

Had burrito with spicy chicken, which wasn’t spicy. 1 burrito is too few for dinner as it has very little filling and there’s nothing on the side. My girlfriend had tacos with veggies but instead of tasting the veggies, everything tasted sour. And for some weird reason you can’t get these with guacamole. Also took very long for the food to be served. Cannot recommend.

Nice and fast service. Food is quite okay. If you make a reservation here you usually only get a 2 hour slot. Several vegetarian dishes to choose from. Price-performance ratio is okay.

It's totally okay that the terrace has to close at 10 p.m., but do you have to address the guests six times at 8:45 p.m.? It just wasn't fun to eat there.

At Casita Mexicana you get authentic Mexican cuisine from “real” Latinos. The food is really tasty and the prices are fair. A real must for TexMex fans.

So, the location is good, the staff is really friendly… But I found the food really disappointing. First of all, there are really no portions for a lot of money... Well Düsseldorf... The tacos were really poorly seasoned, I've eaten much better here in Germany. I wouldn't come here again.

We love Casita Mexikana! The burritos and sue margaritas are especially great. When the store is full it can be a bit loud and busy, but we really like that.

A very nice, atmospheric establishment. Anyone who loves Mexican fast food should definitely go. And Corona beer on tap will complement the delicious food.

Really nice restaurant! The food was fresh and really tasty. You can mix and match between "base" dishes and fillings, which means there is a combination for everyone. I also had a mango margarita and that too was really good. The service was extremely nice and fast and the atmosphere is really nice; a terrace decorated with colourful flags that makes you feel like you're in South America.

We were at Casita Mexicana today and we have to say that the service was extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. When we sat down at a table, the staff clearly didn't like where we were seated. Instead of politely pointing this out to us, we were simply ignored and not served for 20 minutes. After we approached the staff ourselves, we were told (by an employee who was eating) that it would be better if we sat on the other side because there were more guests. The employee simply served each new table and continued to ignore our presence. We would like to emphasize that the entire terrace was open and only 4 tables on the left side were occupied. After other guests sat down on the right side of the terrace and were served in a friendly manner, another employee finally decided to serve us. Conclusion: The food can be fascinatingly delicious, but if the staff is unfriendly, it's not worth going to such restaurants.

I'll be honest, the food was disappointing (5/10). The quesadillas hardly tasted like anything and 4 such small pieces for €10 is a disgrace. The tacos were also rather subpar. Staff was nice and the facility was the highlight. I wouldn't go there again.

I went to Casita Mexicana with my students from the International School , Spanish class. Everyone was so kind and caring! I ordered food - WITHOUT CORIANDER - due to an allergy and what was in the food? That’s right, coriander. "It wasn't fresh." Unfortunately, it doesn't change the fact that I had an allergic attack and my throat has swollen shut ever since. I didn't have to pay for my meal and I was also offered water and tea. Also an ambulance. Nice that I was taken care of. It's a shame that I had to eat coriander before despite urgent requests.

I was there yesterday for the first time. I ate various things and had several drinks. Everything was excellent, very tasty and the service was super fast. We were served by two employees. They were attentive all the time, checking if we were missing anything or if we needed anything else. Their service was excellent as well. I highly recommend the place and obviously I will be back to keep trying new things.

We had ordered a table online and a stressed-out service employee assigned us a table. Normally you would have expected the employee to bring us a menu - unfortunately that wasn't the case. Two female service staff also didn't manage to serve our table. The atmosphere was very loud, the table was sticky with food from the previous guests and we had a good view of the front door. Incoming guests were harshly informed that they were being seated and were "stopped" with a corresponding sign in the middle of the entrance area. After 40 minutes we were no longer willing to wait. When I pointed out to a waitress on the way out that we weren't being served, she yelled at me "you have to wait!" No apology, no attempt to convince the guest about the company or the service. With the best will in the world, absolutely unacceptable, disappointing and definitely not recommended.

Ich kam hier mit fast fast 20 Personen am Sonntagabend. Der Service war einfach nur erbärmlich ich werde 0 Sterne für das unhöfliche Personal geben. Unangemessener Service. Wir haben etwas bestellt und es wurde etwas ganz anderes auf den Tisch gebracht. Ein anderer Tisch bestellte etwas und das Personal kam an unseren Tisch. So verwirrt und dazu noch unhöfliches Personal. Wirklich erbärmlicher Service. Ich würde sagen, warum stellen Sie nicht extra Personal ein, wenn Sie so überlastet sind. Nur mit einer Bestellung, wenn Sie sich gestresst fühlen, dann sollten Sie nicht in dieser Branche sein. Wirklich traurig und enttäuschend und nicht akzeptabel. Erbärmlicher Service und super unhöfliches Personal. Immer überfordert mit wechselnden Bestellungen in weniger als 30 Sekunden, die auch nur einmal. Obwohl sie mir sagten, ich würde mehr bezahlen, brachten sie nichts von dem, was ich verlangt hatte, und holten stattdessen irgendetwas, womit sie verwechselt wurden. Missing the all important Mexican flavour ! Quantity was okay..

Food is simply delicious! Super fresh ingredients and good combinations. The star deduction is for the instant cheese sauce, the nacho appetizer plate with tomatoes, onions and cheese sauce, but WITHOUT standard guacamole (we had to order it separately, plus the portion is very large and correspondingly expensive for an appetizer) and the frozen strawberry margarita without fresh Strawberry puree, with strawberry syrup instead… Still: recommendation!

Great (authentic!) food, great service and all restaurants are nicely and authentically decorated. However, very small portions for a hefty price.

Nice restaurant, but unfortunately the waiting time between ordering and the food being delivered to the table is extreme at an hour. When we asked, we were only told that it was in the works. The speed of food preparation with just one chef is not enough for such a busy restaurant. Unfortunately, a bad mood quickly arises. While you're waiting for your food, you just need a little something like nachos or bread with ajoli or something similar to bridge the hunger phase until the main course.

I would like to order something over the phone and pick it up, unfortunately that doesn't seem to be possible. Had to let the bell ring for 3 minutes and was then held up for 15 minutes. In the end we couldn't order and hung up in exasperation. It's not possible, you obviously don't need any more customers. A pity. Food is actually quite tasty.

Unfortunately not recommended. We arrived around 4:45 p.m. Everything was empty, but we were only allowed to sit directly at the entrance or in the narrow tube at the toilet. Thanks for nothing. Apparently everything was reserved, but there was no sign, the questions were answered in English even though I asked in German. Very strange.
