As mexican living in Germany, I can say that is the best Mexican Food restaurant, besides the food, service is excellent! Every year when we come for the Trade show Medica, we love to have dinner with them 2 times per week. Super recommended!

As a single person, they wanted to seat me at a narrow, dark table in a passageway, even though most of the tables in the main room were free. "All reserved." They obviously don't need the business. Next door at Birdie's, I was served quickly and courteously, and I could choose my own table!

Unfortunately, we had to sit in the hallway on the way to the toilet; it was quite cramped and uncomfortable. It was also very noisy. The food was good, and the service was friendly.

As a fellow mexican I can certify that Casita Mexicana Golzheim is authentic, real flavour, good portions, amazing atmosphere. Definitely worth your time if visiting Düsseldorf. It is one of my favourite places, highly recommended.

Something different: If you're tired of the same old schnitzel, pasta, or steak, you'll be treated to a unique culinary experience here. Mexican food certainly isn't for everyone, but it's definitely worth a visit. The staff is international, and language barriers can sometimes be an issue, which doesn't detract from the experience but rather adds to its charm. This restaurant is exclusive, from the ambiance and the food to the clientele. Cool! Affordable and filling!!

I went with a Mexican friend and he confirmed that it's very similar to Mexican food, very good quality/price ratio.

Good for lunch for those with modest appetites. Quick and affordable. The salad, however, was a bit of an disappointment. When the cucumber and carrot slices curl up from drying out, it's practically too late to eat them.

Price-performance is adaptable.

Simply the best tacos, I'd dare say in North Rhine-Westphalia. The closest thing to Mexican flavor. I'm from Honduras, but I appreciate good tacos. Living in Germany means Germanized Mexican food, so... The only criticism I hear, and it may be somewhat true, is the price. I'd love it if they brought a branch to the Ruhr area like in Essen; the whole Latino community would be amazed.

Surprisingly authentic surprisingly delicious. Worth it visit. Coming from San Diego California, where I grew up on Mexican food. I do not expect authentic tasting Mexican food whilst traveling overseas. This place is a surprise and changed my opinion that I can find excellent Mexican food outside of Southern California and Mexico. The street tacos taste as good as they do in Mexico. Good going you guys!

As always, it was a pleasure to be there. The service is friendly and, especially in Golzheim, very fast. Since we usually come with two children, it's nice that we don't have to wait too long. The children also often get a little special, like free dessert, but that doesn't always have to be the case.

We visited for the first time and were absolutely thrilled. The welcome was very friendly. The service was very attentive. The price was very fair, and the food was fresh, appealing, and delicious! We'd love to go back!

The food and homemade lemonade were delicious, and we also enjoyed the dessert. It was quite loud due to two birthday parties, but I still really enjoyed the atmosphere.

One quesadilla has cheese, the service is slow to take the order and assign a table, the salsa isn't spicy (you can serve it medium-spicy and let the diner decide how much to use with a little warning from the waiter), and the taco filling in the Mix promo should be a choice. The cocktails are adequate. The ingredients taste good and have a good texture and freshness, but they don't deserve the restaurant's current rating. I hope they'll take the retrospective into account. TOO EXPENSIVE and doesn't make up for the ingredients.

I am Mexican and the best Jamaica is here also cochinita pibil and sure they adapt the receipes to give pleasure to more paladars so if you are Mexican you will probably miss spice but the base is there and you will remember the smells of your country

Very authentic. Excellent Mexican food, they serve Corona on tap, and have a lovely outdoor terrace. Parking is easy under the Theodor Heuss Bridge. Highly recommended. The staff is super attentive and friendly.

The marguerites are excellent, and the food is authentic and delicious. Unfortunately, the prices were on the high end.

It is a really nice place! I was with a big group and everyone liked very much the food and the environment, there's a terrace outside which was big and fresh. The table was nicely decorated and the service was good.

Food is nice but too expensive for what you get. I had a burrito which is 16€, could have easily eaten 2 if not 3 of them.

The food is great, as always. The service was a bit absent but it’s not that bad.

Well, the tapas were manageable, and the prices were on the higher end. At least the waitresses were nice, but they spoke almost no German. We ended up eating somewhere else to escape the feeling of an empty stomach. Your answer makes me feel completely screwed. The things are even in the pictures on your own website, and yes, we sat on the terrace in Golzheim, where none of the waitresses spoke any German.

The food, as in all casitas, is excellent We had two burritos and then a portion of tacos (but the larger ones). The portions were really large, tasty, and always prepared quickly. You should only order hot sauce if you like spicy food! 2 pepperoni (quite hot) 3 pepperoni (really hot) They also served a fresh lemonade, which was also very refreshing. The prices were great, as always, by no means overpriced and the portions were totally reasonable. I love coming here and would recommend it to everyone. It's quiet yet central (10 minutes from the Kö).

The food was delicious, and we felt very comfortable. The location is right on a busy street, so it's a bit noisy, but still within reason. I recommend the Casita Mix plate; it's reasonably priced, and you can try all the dishes—a truly great offer.

The Casita in Golzheim is also worth a visit. We sat outside and barely noticed the busy streets around us. It was quite busy for a Tuesday evening, and I would definitely recommend making a reservation. (You're sure to get something spontaneously...) The staff is very friendly and underlines the international flair. The food was delicious, from appetizers to dessert! We'd love to come back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

I've eaten at this restaurant both in-store and via delivery. Unfortunately, I noticed that the meals were very different. The salsa I received via delivery seemed heavily watered down and had almost no flavor. I recommend it for in-store dining, but unfortunately, I can't recommend it via delivery.

The food was good, but the lemonade tasted bad and had too much ice in it. The male server didn't speak a word of German. I wanted to ask if plastic cards were accepted. He always ran away quickly after I put down my drink and then after I finished eating.

This is what you imagine Mexico to be like: tequila cocktails, nacho chips, quesadillas, burritos and Spanish-speaking waiters/waitresses.

We ordered from Uber eats and we were sent rice and beans which were stinking. Such poor quality of food, it's like ordering food from a sewer. Disgusting quality for 40 euros for 2 salads.

The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was packed with authentic Mexican flavors, and you could really tell the ingredients were high quality. The tacos and quesadillas with cochinita pibil were especially delicious and perfectly seasoned. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and fantastic food—I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch Mexican dining experience.

Casita is an institution in Düsseldorf..so when you think of food quality, choice etc..this is as good as the other, no more or less (even though...somehow in Bilk is always better ;) ) here the location is ok..despite close to big streets the slightly elevated and surrounded ''balcony'' makes it feel cozier than you'd think.

Extremely rude. I've never experienced such bad service as there. I'm currently sitting in the restaurant and writing this review. The gentleman was incredibly rude and left me sitting here for 35 minutes even though the place was empty.

We were here last night and left feeling extremely satisfied. Only the surprise plate on the menu was a bit disappointing. At almost €22, it would have been nice to have more choice on the plate, but what was on the plate was absolutely delicious 🤗 The dessert—we had all three on the menu—was absolutely amazing. The food was really good! First time eating Mexican food and I wasn't disappointed! Overall, a very charming restaurant with very friendly service, even if some of the seating is a bit cramped. Otherwise, nothing to complain about! The homemade lemonade was very good, but I personally wasn't prepared for the acidity, which doesn't mean it was bad.

The burrito was okay. A 55-minute wait and hair in the food couldn't be better.

I'm really disappointed. I used to eat at the branch in the old town often and always loved the food. This was my first time at this branch – and it was an absolute disaster. The food was cold, poorly presented, and the portions are now a joke. You used to get really full here – now you barely get more than an appetizer for the same price. Even the water tasted like cheap tap water. I was really annoyed and will definitely never go back. It's sad how much the quality has deteriorated.

Mexican restaurant with spectacular food. I come here often, and everything is always delicious, with great service and a great atmosphere. Today was a disaster; they were out of guacamole and one of the waitresses had a rather unfortunate performance. But since it's a great place, the manager was fully capable of turning the situation around, proving that having a good professional is worth it because the important thing is the feeling you leave with. I definitely recommend it and will definitely return. Better quesadillas than in Mexico City. Congratulations!

Very tasty food. Although a long way from Mexico, the flavours certainly gave the image we were expecting. Service super. Ms Victoria full of kindness and a smile. She served and advised. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Burrito is amazing. It actually feels different than just a kebab a la mexico. Just right spicy, with cheese. The only downside it's impossible to eat without a fork because it falls apart like a taco.

There wasn't enough in my last order and you didn't see it by saying that everything is weighed equally with a spoon, but even a blind person can see the big difference in how little there is in this portion. I was supposed to complain with an email and send a photo, but the photos won't be allowed

I celebrated my birthday on Saturday, April 26, 2025 and it was really the best decision. The atmosphere and the food were perfect. They decorated the tables and were kind enough to write me a message. The food was on time and tasted great. The staff was super friendly and the waitress who served us was very cheerful and friendly. I felt like I was at home! Thank you Casita for making my day very special.

The waiter gave totally other order and had to be payed after clearly made the mistake. Was not rush hour and totally not acceptable to pay full amount for two dishes that were not what we asked for. Way better restaurants and service 10 meters around
