Food was ok, the burrito is not really a burrito, it's more a roll or a crepe with stuff inside (cheese, some salad, some chicken and some beans in my case). My waitress was top notch, nothing to report about her. The prices are on the high side. I know a burrito place in Las Vegas where you can get a burrito for 8-10 USD (and we talk about the real thing)

We were waiting for 20 minutes, we even changed tables right in front of them so they could come serve us. The restaurant was not even full, meanwhile the waiters and cooks played and gossiped. Food is mega! Super nice service. But unfortunately the 0.5l soft drinks are only distributed in 0.3l. The difference was clearly visible where a 0.5l Altbier stood next to a 0.5l Cola. When asked, we were assured that the glasses were 0.5l. This cannot be purely physical.

We were here on a Wednesday when there wasn't much going on and just before closing time. And was told that Nachos Original can still be served. We then took that and ordered a portion of guac. The nachos were incomplete in terms of ingredients, we thought ok, it's almost time for you. (€18.50 per portion, which is tough) Then came the bill. With 7€ for the guac we almost fell off our chairs. But the hard part was how unfriendly and rude the waiter was. We asked for a discount because the nachos weren't complete and for €7 a portion of guac was simply excessive. He said he was drunk and didn't want to pay. That's when our collars burst. Just cheeky Overpriced Has nothing to do with Mexico. Never again There are better stores where the price is right

In itself super pleasant and tasty there. There was a little too much lemon in the guacamole for our taste, but that could just be a personal preference. Otherwise we thought the food was great there. The service was absolutely nice and the food came within a few minutes. We had reserved and were there for the first time, so we didn't know exactly how it was handled. We had to wait a few minutes to be taken to our seat, which was a bit uncomfortable as it meant we were in the way and we weren't addressed directly. But everything was quickly resolved and we were taken to our place, which is why it wasn't all that bad. The spatial design was very pleasant, although small. But there's nothing you can do about it because the building was generally very small. Overall it was a pleasant time there and we will happily come back.

The food and our service were really great. I had reserved the table and was greeted extremely friendly. We sat upstairs where reservations are placed. That was totally fine, just a little stuffy. I come back to Casita again and again and can only recommend it!

Guys, incredible and authentic Mexican restaurant. The food here is top notch and it is definitely one of my favorite places in all of Düsseldorf. The wide selection of authentic and delicious food, from tacos to quesadillas, is great. Furthermore, the staff is more than friendly, they are like real friends. Whatever the occasion, whatever the weather, this restaurant is always a good choice. 5.5/5 stars. Note: Sorry if my German is bad because I can't speak it very well (I'm Spanish). (€10) veggie casadilla to start....zero veg in them, just a tasteless cheese! Blackbean buritto (€18) was a major disappointment, bland. Only had black beans and lettuce and bland cheese in them....no Mexican spices, no salsa, no guac, no sour cream!!! €7.10 for 150mls of chardonnay is v v v expensive!!!! I didn't eat most of the food and the waitress didn't even bother to ask why there was so much food on the plate when she took the plates away!! (Which you would expect!!!)

A beautiful business, with perfect Mexican food. Lots of options and you can combine dishes and fillings. The only negative thing was the service, because the waiters took a long time to take our orders. Although I understand the delay, because the place was almost full (which doesn't surprise me with such good food), I saw that other tables were served almost immediately.

Authentically Mexican food we had Tacos and there were great, also some Margaritas (usually known as more icy but great taste)

I've been to this specific casita for the third time now because it is on my way home, and I like Mexican food, and I only have one thing to say: NOT WORTH IT. Really, just dont go to this place... Besides being obviously overpriced, they have absolutely 0 quality control. My last experience cost 40 euros for 2 burritos and one micro portion of Frijoles to take home, and well... you can see what I found out home: a mix of old lettuce, overcooked not seasoned meat, and nothing more. A joke of burrito... Mexico should sue this place for even calling it mexican food

We were more than satisfied with our stay. The waiters were all very friendly and accommodating, and even though it was so busy, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The burritos were generously filled and tasted great! Gladly again!

I fell more in love with the casual food-truck-feeling style than the food itself. It's not that the food didn't taste good, it's only not as impressive as the design of the restaurant. If you are a spicy food newbie and want to have a taste of Mexican food, Casita is surely a good start. Upon all that, the staff is very nice and helpful.

There has to be a huge profit margin. You don't get a burrito; you get something closer to gyro in form and really just an overall confused taste unsure of its origin. If you go to Mexico and get a burrito you expect well-seasoned and cooked meats/veggies, a balance of rice, beans, cheese, salsa, potentially additional ingredients and most importantly, it's actually shaped like a burrito. There is no real means to modify your meal and as others have said, the guacamole is a far cry from anything with flavor and soul. The other redeeming quality is decently seasoned meat, but even then it didn't taste Mexican. Chipotle or Taco Bell are a step up in quality with a lower price.

The service was very bad! First we waited a long time until the waitress even accepted our order, then after 40 minutes we asked her if we could at least get our drinks first. She cheekily asked if we had even ordered, after our answer that we had already been waiting for 40 minutes, she replied sarcastically - **it happened!!! Very unprofessional.

The food was a 10/10 for me (specially the "burrito con frijoles refritos". The servers are really nice and it is a bit loud but it is still a restaurant that I would recommend.

Fresh and good quality products. This is Mexican “World Heritage Site” accessible to everyone with hunger, big and small. The cocktails are recommended. The location looks inviting and offers a relaxed atmosphere. Friends will have a good time here. It's best to reserve! Price performance top. Service friendly and attentive.

Simply the best Mexican in Düsseldorf. All casitas are very good. So this one is also authentic. Employees eat drinks and ambience. All Mexico. The homemade lemonada is very refreshing. The burrito with carne asada and cactus 🌵 is the burner. Very tastefull. Meat on point. Prices are a bit high but within reason. I always enjoy coming here. Ps: take chips with guaca as a starter. Best!

Such a cosy and warm place to visit when In Düsseldorf. The experience was so pleasant, that we had to return the next night to repeat it. Margaritas on another level and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s a must to return too an just the most chilled atmosphere, where you can enjoy and relax when out in the city with friends and family. Btw, they are also dog friendly and that’s always a bonus for us.

I have been here many times, rather ordered the food at the Irish pub next door. I have always found the food okay and a bit expensive for the overall taste and quality but it works due to the lack of other Mexican restaurants in Düsseldorf in the area. I was a bit surprised today though when the waitress openly asked me if I wanted to tip the staff, while billing. Considering that the downstairs seating was super cold, the door kept open mostly, the room not warm enough, the prices high for the portion and the good taste but honestly I've had better Mexican food in Germany, this felt aggressive and needless. To be fair, we were going to tip in cash but paid the bill via card. But you cannot expect to be tipped all the time. It should be okay to not force the customer to feel guilty for not tipping, if they don't want to. I may not be visiting them in a hurry.

I can recommend this restaurant for all who like Mexican food. I had a very good time there. Tasty food.

It really is a cute small casita where you get the feeling of being home. The food is super fresh and tasty, you can see it's made at the moment. For lunch there are good menus for around 12 euros including the drink. And the staff is super friendly

Wir waren gestern zu viert hier. Haben unseren Tisch früher bekommen als ursprünglich reserviert. Nach kürzester Zeit kam auch schon das freundliche Personal und hat die Getränkebestellung aufgenommen. Pimp my Beer ist Geschmackssache. Meiner war es nicht. Beim nächsten Mal gibt es nur ein normales Bier. Speisen wurden auch schnell aufgenommen und gebracht. Was soll man sagen. Es ist sehr lecker und ausreichend gewesen. Das Lokal ist überschaubar. Es hat in EG und OG Sitzgelegenheiten. Im Großen und Ganzen waren Wir sehr gut zufrieden und werden wiederkommen.

Ich bin hier vielleicht etwas forsch, aber für vier Sterne war der Service einfach zu schlecht. Ganz kurz: netter kleiner Mexikaner in der Düsseldorfer Altstadt. Ihr solltet es „kuschelig“ mögen, denn Platz ist hier nicht reichlich vorhanden und man sitzt eng an eng. Ich habe damit kein Problem, man muss es jedoch mögen. Gespräche der anderen bekommt man unumgänglich mit und so wird es auch mit Euren sein. Das Essen war tatsächlich lecker und qualitativ gut. Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis passt hier leider nicht ganz, da es doch schon im Vergleich sehr hochpreisig ist. Der Service war eigentlich der Knackpunkt. Wir wurden noch nett und herzlich empfangen, danach wirkte alles etwas krampfig und man musste schon um Aufmerksamkeit kämpfen. Zum bezahlen habe ich mich dann Richtung Theke gestellt und gewaaaaartet. Ich vermute, es hätte niemand mitbekommen, wenn ich stattdessen einfach gegangen wäre. Insgesamt war es ein noch netter Abend mit Abstrichen. Für einen weiteren Besuch sehe ich aber erst einmal wenig Chancen. Toiletten waren nicht sehr groß angelegt, aber völlig solide.

Wenn jemand gute mexikanisches essen genießen möchte, sollte er / sie stamm- Kunde werden! Ich komme aus Mexiko und empfehle das Restaurant, die Soße waren lecker und unterschiedlich scharf, gute tequila un mezcal Wahl ich werde wieder kommen!!!! Grüße an Eveline! Der Laden ist der Hammer. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr sehr lecker und die Cocktails knallen ordentlich. Ich persönlich würde die Quesadillas sehr empfehlen. Geschmacklich der absolute hammer. Würde hier jederzeit wieder hingehen! Personal sehr nett und lebhafte Atmosphäre. Die Burritos würd ich weniger empfehlen, die sind nicht so wirklich vollgepackt wie man es gewohnt wäre aus anderen Restaurants.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren dort zu fünft essen 4 Frauen und ein Mann. Das Essen absolut mikrig und endlos teuer. Die Getränke sind ebenfalls zu teuer. Wir sind danach zur Pommesbude am Eck und haben erst mal noch was gegessen um nicht mehr hungrig zu sein. Wir waren eigentlich alle noch hungrig. Selbst ein kleiner Teller Nachos kosten fast 9 Euro. Die Speisekarte ist sehr verwirrend und das ganz Konzept ist irgendwie nicht durchdacht. Die Ausstattung war okay, die Tische zu klein und man hat kaum Platz. Wir werden nicht mehr wieder kommen.

Best mexican food in Dusseldorf. I still come back here ( I know this place as I used to live in dusseldorf few years back) from Netherlands just to have the food. Must try: Original (can get it with burrito or quesdillas) for vegetarian option. Tacos with shrimps (if anyone can bear real spicy level have it with habanero sauce which is freshly made). And not forget the Flan mexicano which is my absolute favourite. Staff is really nice and atmosphere is cozy. Eventhough they have other branches I prefer the Alstadt one.

Wir hatten einen ausgezeichneten Besuch im Casita Mexicana in der Altstadt von Düsseldorf. Die Quesadillas mit "Asada con nopales" und der Burrito mit der gleichen Füllung waren köstlich und empfehlenswert. Die Vorspeise "mix de Botanas" war vielfältig und besonders die "Crema de Altún" hat uns begeistert. Die Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich und sorgten stets für unser Wohlbefinden. Die Sauberkeit und Ordnung in der Lokalität trugen zu einer angenehmen Atmosphäre bei. Wir empfehlen das Casita Mexicana gerne weiter und freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank!

Ich fand es sehr lecker. Allerdings ein ziemlich teurer Spaß für „ein paar Wraps“. Wir haben mit 4 Personen (2 Erw., 2 Kinder) 70€ bezahlt. Davon war eines noch eine Kinderportion.

In my travels, I have a tradition of trying out Mexican food all around the world. This place HANDS DOWN came in number 2, after Mexico of course. Even my fiancé, who is from Mexico, said that too. The Passion Fruit Mule was to die for. The Pastor Bowl aside from filling, savoury! The staff was AMAZING! 10/10 will return next time I’m in DUS!

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne her, essen ist mega gut und alle kellner sind super nett - auch wenn es voll wird, wird sich erkundigt, wie es schmeckt! Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre die Enge der Tische und die dementsprechende Lautstärke an nem Samstagabend aber hey es ist nunmal mitten in Altstadt.
