After eating, my girlfriend and I immediately had very severe stomach pains and nausea. What a shame! We had eaten numbers 120 and 129 and nachos (number 5).

Great location to start the evening.

One of the most horrible restaurant experiences in years! Definitely not eating here!! Any kebab shop around the corner is better! I ordered the combinación de casa because it gave me a taste of three main courses. If you let three leftovers from the day before dry out and then heat them up, or rather, burn them, in the oven, you get what I had on my plate. Fascinating as a tasteless burnt offering – but barely edible as a meal! The service was appropriate and should have warned me, because only after 15 minutes of being ignored and putting my coat back on did the waiter arrive. Unfortunately, I stayed. Definitely avoid if taste and service are even remotely important to you!

Wow, a place that transports you to vacation just by walking in! The food is an indescribable journey of flavors through Latin America. (Starter, main course, and dessert) Service is relaxed and friendly, and if something is sold out, alternative recommendations are offered. In summary, simply a place to stay!

I've rarely eaten so well, and I absolutely recommend it. The starters, main courses, desserts, and cocktails were all outstanding!

This restaurant has a truly harmonious decor, coupled with friendly and efficient service and excellent food. There were five of us, and everyone was very satisfied. I'll be going there with my wife again based on this experience.

We were at the restaurant on July 28th. The waiter brought us the menus and pointed out that they didn't have any ice cubes, so you couldn't order cocktails. Afterward, we chose our food, and when the waiter returned to our table, he told us they were out of nachos and we should pick something else. If he had told us that right at the beginning, we wouldn't have ordered anything. Okay, I ordered chicken wings. They arrived shortly afterward, and I realized they weren't freshly prepared at all. The meat was extremely dry, the skin soft. Just a disappointment.

The starter was okay, but more "Mexican for Germans," with a not-so-intense, unspectacular flavor, and served accordingly. The main course, however, was absolutely top-notch, spicy/tangy, and a large, filling portion. Next time, I would order only this dish and would be happy. The staff was very hospitable and humorous. The atmosphere didn't quite fit the restaurant, partly due to the Christmas decorations (see example photo), but was otherwise cozy enough.

Went to visit with all the good reviews. I have no idea how ? Worst Mexican I ever had ! No tacos no cocktails. Barely anything in. We ordered food and it came out very quick in a empty restaurant . Very quick service which is normally good however I ordered Fajitas and it was a sorry sight to look at when it came out. 1) vegetables had been cut massive so barely fits in the small wraps. But the worst is the vegetables were under done. 2) The chicken had a lot of gristle and I quit the meal when I started chewing cartilage. 3) lacked flavour generally. In conclusion no love in the food at all. Place looks nice to lure you in and then disappoints you with bad food. Then charges you full price when you complain the food is not good. Needless to say I will never return or recommend the place. Stay clear you have been warned.

Unfortunately, I can only recommend this Mexican restaurant with reservations. We waited half an hour for our drinks, then another 45 minutes for our food, and were then disappointed by the small portions. I have never had so little food for a relatively large amount of money at a Mexican restaurant. I ordered the beef enchiladas for €19, and my plate was only half full. Very disappointing. My colleagues' pan dishes, on the other hand, were very satisfactory. When we wanted to order cocktails to finish off our wait, however, I was told after another 30 minutes that the colada was all gone. When we expressed our displeasure, the waiter was reluctant and brought us all a shot of tequila on the house.

I like the decoration, there are many mirrors and frames on the wall that give you good vibes. Two of my friends ordered "Fiesta Mexicana" that is a huge portion and would be enough even for 4 people!

UPDATE Unfortunately I have to change my review. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table. The order was placed and the food arrived quickly. I had a filete de cerdo...FILET....the meat was so tough that my chewing muscles hurt. It was almost impossible to get through with the knife. I noticed this with the waitress - "I'll pass it on to the kitchen" - that was it, not another word or anything like that. At the neighboring table, people weren't too happy with what they ordered either. Something has changed a lot there. Sorry, I don't have to go there anymore. OLD - Nicely decorated restaurant. The service is well organized and you are treated politely. The order is taken quickly and the “boss” explains the dishes served. Our food was basically OK. but there is a lot to report. There was a greeting from the kitchen in advance: tortilla chips with salsa...very tasty...the main courses look great. Unfortunately, the small rice ball was less than lukewarm and the chicken in the taco was very dry and the guacamole was very tasty. We would have liked more typical seasoning straight from the kitchen...there is certainly salt and pepper and hot sauces on the table.

One of the few restaurants that still offers top quality after almost 20 years and a change of ownership. And the ambience is still a pleasure, a journey back in time to another place. Best Mexican in NRW… a must go!!

I only had 2 double vodkas with bitter lemmen, costs just 39.40 euros. I thought a horse was kicking me. Simply outrageous People be careful what you order. That's why I won't recommend this restaurant. It's a good thing I didn't order a whole bottle.😡👎

We waited two hours for the main course, one hour for the starter, and 40 minutes for our first drinks. The meat in the main course was cold and tough. What a shame!

The best Mexican restaurant I have tried in Düsseldorf. The plates are quite big. Totally worth it!

I went to this restaurant with a lot of expectations. Unfortunately I was disappointed... We had to wait a relatively long time for the food. It was well presented and looked good at first glance. Unfortunately it wasn't like that. The vegetable burrito consisted of frozen vegetables and was more of a mass. In my opinion it doesn't have much to do with traditional Mexican quality. For €17.90 I think you can expect a little more. Therefore, unfortunately no recommendation!

Yesterday we went to a concert (Die Feisten👍👍👍) in Düsseldorf and ate at the Bandido restaurant. Very friendly service, very nice location, very tasty food. 6 out of 5 possible stars from me. Together with the Feisten concert it was a perfect evening 👍👍👍.

The food is great, but the long waiting time is unacceptable. On February 15th at 7:00 p.m. we had reserved in advance and had to wait 30 minutes for our table. Drinks either didn't come at all or came after 20-25 minutes. We waited over 1.5 hours for the main course!!! Despite repeated questions, the young woman (who also cashed in) was very unfriendly and said: “It’ll just take a while, you had an appetizer.” That doesn't change the fact that the restaurant was well attended, as we were there on December 31st and didn't wait more than 1.5 hours. There is always a waiting time but not to such an extent that it just shows how incompetent the lady was. To make up for the inhumane wait, we were given a plate of salmon quesadilla. This was previously returned by other guests. We also had this returned because we can't eat salmon. If the above-mentioned young woman had asked us, we would have told her. Likewise, other guests received their food after us even though they clearly came later. We could see that they had ordered the same thing as us. This can no longer be surpassed in terms of cheekiness. The only thing that deserved stars here was our food and the young man who handed out the drinks because he was the only one who was very nice and tried to save the situation. It's a shame because I previously gave a 5 star review on December 31st because we liked the food and service the previous time. There are plenty of other alternatives in Düsseldorf when it comes to Mexican food where you don't feel like you're waiting all evening for something.

Mesa reservada para las 7 pm estábamos media hora sentados antes de que se tomara la orden y luego otra media hora antes de que llegaran las bebidas. I absolutely no longer recommend this restaurant. I have known the restaurant for over 20 years. I haven't visited the restaurant for 3 years and I'm very surprised at the level. The service is very slow. The waitresses are not informed about the food on the menu and do not speak German. The layout of the tables is awkward because it was too crowded with tables and all the tables were dirty. Also, the shrimp smelled like pork.

I have enjoyed going to this restaurant for years and have always been satisfied, but unfortunately a lot has changed for the worse now. The last time I invited work colleagues there, unfortunately they couldn't be served with wine because the conditions have no idea about wine, it used to work with the nice head waiter, but he wasn't there that day, so we decided on cocktails (approx . 50 cocktails on the menu 😱), the cocktails came after the starter which wasn't good either. Prices were much higher than usual and staff were overwhelmed and lost. All the employees were new to me except for a blonde lady who only appeared at our table when we were cashing out and when I asked about the grey-haired owner I was told that he had been selling the shop for 6 months.

We entered this restaurant by accident and we did not reserve a table in advance, but we were kindly shown to a free seat. We ordered Fiesta Mexicana, it is suitable for a company and is offered for 2 people or more. From Virgin Mojito, Ipanema, Blue lemon drinks. While we were waiting for our order, they brought us a whole plate of Nachos with sauces. It was very appropriate, because we were very hungry then. Drinks were brought very quickly, large portions. About the portion of the main order ... it was very large, very diverse, and most importantly cosmically delicious! Meat of different varieties, but very tender and tasty. We ate our fill, and the waitress kindly packed what was left with her into thermal containers. Everything with a smile, a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. There is music, but it does not interfere with communication. The sanitary room is clean and smells pleasant. Towels, toilet paper in abundance. We were there over 20 years ago and were looking forward to a delicious evening with memories. The friendly employees are positive. The food was ok, but not really worth mentioning. Burrito and enchilada not seasoned well, little blobs of sauces, and the mini portion of rice was a joke. It's a shame to see you again after more than 20 years, but there won't be another one.

Then had to wait another 40 minutes. Food was bland, without flavor, not Mexican at all. Culinary failure, we will never come here again.
