Hervorragendes Essen, Burritos und Starters waren Mega. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Zum wohlfühlen. Einzig der Reis als Beilage und das sehr enge Sitzen haben nicht voll überzeugt. Wir kommen trotzdem gerne wieder.

Delicious Mexican cuisine with indoor and outdoor seating. I had a burrito with asada con nopales. All in all, successful and tasty.

Despite the prices, I always enjoyed eating here because it was simply delicious. Today I was there again, and the prices are higher than last time - okay, those 1.50 euros more are not the world either - but there is still significantly less content... I won't be coming back. PS: If you're unlucky, you'll get really unpleasant service.

Mexican music, super friendly and attentive service (the kitchen brings you cactus leaves to try if you've never had it before) and Mexican food (not just tex-mex!) with fresh corn tacos, salsa verde, pico de gallo and lots of cilantro ! 🌿 The hibiscus water is also there as it should be 🥰

Not mexican by a long shot, average tex mex food that is way overpriced. Paid 30 euros for food thst probably cost 5 euros to make. Service was OK, nothing special wouldn't return because at those prices they need to be serving authentic and higher quality foods

A really nice restaurant, you feel like you're in Mexico, the chicken burrito was very tasty and I would come back for that at any time. Unfortunately, there was a lot missing from the vegetarian burrito. Because the burritos didn't contain rice, lots of beans, etc., they seemed like a lettuce wrap. I would like a little more creativity when putting it together! Service was very nice, ambience as I said was very nice, of course we had to wait a little longer because the store was full, but that wasn't a big deal.

Try the tacos - best ones I ever had! Agua fresca also great! Well done team! Will be back when next in Duesseldorf!

Food was close as it will get for taste buds! Host was nice...it was not busy at all and took them a few minutes. Drink was nice .. Had to send back beans and rice it was not hot at all. Neither was the food but it was accepted to n my part. Would I go again ..yes, only for the drinks and Tortillas n 🥑.

I wanted to order food for delivery. The lady barely understood German, so I switched to English. After I repeatedly emphasized that I would like to order the food for delivery and not for pickup, they simply hung up on me. With such a lack of knowledge of both German and English, no restaurant service can be offered.

We reserved a table today because of the good reviews, rustic welcome, ok. There were some guests sitting outside, we wanted to sit inside. Interior is quite minimalistic, we are given a tiny table on a wall in the entrance area that needs renovation, with chairs that take some getting used to from a northern German perspective (I'm putting myself rather nicely here). The alternative offered is also not acceptable for a visit to Düsseldorf. We then go to the Spaniard next door, where the atmosphere is completely different. Maybe more for young people. Of course I can't say anything about the quality of the food.

We have already visited a few of the Casita Mexicana restaurants, but the one in Düsseldorf Pempelfort is simply the best. The food was again excellent and the service was great. We'd love to come back.

As usual the food and drinks are behind of expectations. We have been visiting Casita in Pempelfort since June 2016. Always the same quality and taste.

Visited during lunch with colleagues but We had to wait for more than 40 minutes for our order. Had to leave in a hurry due to prior engagement.

We were with a few friends at the Casita Mexicana in Pempelfort. First the positive things: 1. The food was very, very tasty. We had bowls, burritos etc. and everyone enjoyed it 2. The margaritas were also very good 3. Ambience is relaxed and nice 4. You can reserve online and pay by card - this is rare in Germany and great :) What we didn't like was the service. The first waitress didn't understand German well, which led to a bumpy ordering process. Then the drinks came and without actively asking, no one would probably have ever come to order the food. As the evening progressed, we had to actively make ourselves known for all further orders because the staff preferred to just stand around at the counter or move around in other areas of the restaurant. Two ideas for this: - QR codes on the tables and you simply order online, the waiters see this and bring what you ordered - this works perfectly in Asia. - Apparently the employees have no motivation to earn more money through good service. You can change that too, e.g. through appropriate remuneration and motivation of the staff, etc. I am also self-employed and know that the issue of good service is basically a matter for the boss. Friendliness varied - a male employee was super nice and warm, a colleague was totally cool and distant, but perhaps there was also a language barrier. Overall, we would eat here again because it is really tasty. But the store would be so much better if the service was better.

Food was very tasty and fresh, very good service

Were there on the Dokomi/European Championship weekend, the first thought was "it's close to the hotel and something different". We were VERY positively surprised. The food was prepared quickly, tasted absolutely great, and the waitresses were always very nice. On the first day we were there with a reservation and on the second without a reservation, but it was absolutely no problem and we got a table straight away even though the restaurant was full. Definite recommendation if you're near there anyway! :)

Very bad experience. Staff speaks very rudely and loudly. They laugh with the customers and show no respect. The food is expensive and doesn't taste good at all. The manager can hardly speak or understand German. Very disappointed.

I've never been to Mexico. But eating the food here makes me want to visit Mexico. Lovely food, pleasant service, good ambience sitting outdoors in a breezy summer day.

The bowls are tasty, but there's a bit too much salad in them and unfortunately I didn't tolerate them very well... Unfortunately, the lunch specials at €14.90 including a small glass of soft drink are also too expensive.

The food consisted almost exclusively of tomatoes and tortillas or whatever you just ordered. We left half of it and quickly left because it was also cold, cramped and really loud.

Excellent food, Try the combo with tacos, quasedillas, and burrito, comes with chefs' choice of fillings and sauce, and they know what they are serving. I asked them for an extra spicy meal, and it just perfectly hit my tastebuds

Unfortunately we were disappointed. Food tasted ok, but not nicely presented. No small salad garnish, no longer really hot and the waiting time was far too long. Guests who arrived far after us received their food earlier. During the whole (waiting) time, during the meal and afterwards, we tried to order something more to drink. Apparently they don't want to make any money! We were simply overlooked. No questions, no nothing. Service absolutely not good. Sorry. I would also like to have written something else about it here. We won't be coming back again. A pity.

Yesterday I was at Casita Mexikana in Pempelfort and it was simply awesome! The food there is incredibly delicious – the tacos, burritos and quesadillas are simply amazing. I particularly liked the margaritas and the refreshing Mexican drinks. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was really cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. If you like authentic Mexican cuisine, you definitely have to stop by.

Nice little restaurant with Mexican cuisine. Were there with a group of 10 people. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. A little tip: remember the name of your dishes ;-) There is nothing more unpleasant for the waitress than when she stands at the table with the plates, says what she has there and everyone looks at each other questioningly?? Is it this and that??

This is probably one of the better Mexican places in Germany. It's bursting with flavor and fresh herbs. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed, but they definitely did an excellent job and handled our massive table quite well. They deserved huge tips. The cocktails are also really good and not your standard Sauselitos style. My only complaint is the tacos: they were delicious but way too small. They were tiny! Smallest tacos I've ever eaten. I was still hungry after. Other than that, definitely a good place would recommend!

Went there yesterday because the restaurant had such good reviews. However, we should have noticed when we came in that something was wrong. The service preferred to be on the cell phone and immersed in private conversations instead of focusing on the customers. So we probably stood around stupidly for 2 minutes even though the service had nothing to do. Unfortunately, the table we sat at was also dirty and the food was ok but way too overpriced. In between there was no question as to whether everything was ok. We had to go to the front to ask if we could pay. Afterwards there was no question as to whether everything was ok, nor a “bye” or “thank you”. We are very disappointed PS: the mini rice portion was a joke

Everything was excellent, the food was very good, I was passing through on business and I also went for lunch the next day. The only downside, I was alone, during dinner, while I was in the bathroom they cleared the table and took away all the remaining food 😭

Delicious Mexican food, the menu could be a little more extensive.

Mexican food, tastes good. Service is tried very hard, but this is exactly where the system reaches its limits. During our visit, communication without misunderstanding was only possible because one of our colleagues speaks Spanish as a native speaker. And the next problem is that there is practically no space between the tables, the aisles are much too narrow. At some tables you can only stand up if the next table is friendly enough to stand up too. I don't want to think about evacuation at all. Food good, service friendly, spatial situation questionable.

Very tasty food, but... There were two of us. We ordered 1 taco, 1 burrito and three margaritas. But… They brought us our ordered food and in addition, instead of three cocktails, three burritos 🤦‍♀️ We decided to help the waitress out and paid for her mistake and paid for what we didn’t order and of course ordered three Margaritas again. We were hoping for at least some kind of discount in the end, but alas...

Food was great as always, but every time we visit this restaurant it takes too long to have our dishes served, so it would be great if you could improve this. Other than that everything was perfect, the personal was super nice, food and drinks were great too. So only think I would change is that the kitchen is too slow.

Super lovingly furnished and run restaurant with delicious Mexican dishes. Even without a reservation, two of us quickly got to a table and were served in a friendly and courteous manner. We didn't have to wait long for our food, it was very tasty. What was also very nice for me was the warm treatment of the employees towards the guests and each other. You could really tell that it was a family business that everyone had fun being involved with. Clear recommendation!

First of all we had the nachos with guacamole, 😋🤤 PASTORL + €1 (extra charge) Marinated pork in a chili pineapple sauce ALAMBRE A, F + €2 (extra charge) Pieces of beef steak with freshly cooked vegetables in a juicy marinade and Quesadilias with POLLO CON RAJASG + €1 (extra charge) Chicken in a creamy salsa with poblano chilies, Potatoes, corn, feta cheese & red onions. Parking ticket is mandatory, we were there at lunchtime. If we ever find ourselves in Düsseldorf or Cologne again, we would be happy to come and visit you. LG Julia and Ervin

The food is tasty, but the portions are relatively small and at the current prices, plus a 0.3 soda (water, lemon, sugar) for €4.2. Inflation is falling, will prices be adjusted again in the catering industry? Of course not.

Salad was old, there was coriander in everything, although it wasn't mentioned on the menu (but it was for other dishes) and service was mediocre. Cocktails and quesadillas were ok. A pity.

... to be enjoyed with caution 🚨...! What happened..? We were eating in the restaurant with 6 people and had something to celebrate. We were the first and last guests and had reserved the table in advance. The food was okay. The female waiter was very attentive and friendly. The evening promised to be fun... Unfortunately, at the end of the evening there were discrepancies regarding the bill. We were charged for drinks that we neither ordered nor received, let alone drank. Unfortunately, the discrepancies could not be resolved. Our complaint was ignored. In the end we paid the bill of almost 500 euros. As a result, the tip was not generous, which was something that was heavily complained about. Since we had reserved the table by phone, there was a scandal the next day. The managing owner gave us a “ban from the house” for the future, pointing out the low tip. Well... we wouldn't have shown up there anyway. My tip: ...pay attention to the bill and make notes yourself about the number of drinks or, best of all, go somewhere else...

Everything is very delicious, as a foreigner (Mexican), it is difficult to find food with real Mexican flavor. The atmosphere, food and service are excellent.

We dined here on a Saturday evening and thank God we had a reservation. Something went wrong, but they responded professionally and found a great solution for us. The food was great, the portion was huge and we had a wonderful evening - also thanks to the attentive and quick staff. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back

We didn't have a reservation, but were warmly welcomed despite the crowded store and got a table after about 15 minutes. It was really fantastic. You can tell that the owners specialize in their cuisine, only offer one style and are professionals in their field. Very authentic, everything is to the point. Simply great

Not fresh food. Chips and guacamole were horrible. Chips from a market bag and cold. Guacamole from a box. Carne azada tasted like cardboard. Cheap and cheap.

We came there as tourists to eat based on the good reviews and were not disappointed. It's a small menu, but there's nothing missing if you want to eat typical Mexican food. Very tasty, quick and super nice staff.

Authentic Mexican street food cuisine. My favorite Mexican for many years, always fresh and delicious. The chipottle sauce also tastes great with its smoke aroma. Very good tequilas available. Although prices have increased over the years, we still recommend it for anyone who wants a bit of variety. My tip: Nachos Original as a starter for 2 people or more Or the “Pibil” filling in a burito or quesadilla.

Always a safe pick. The food is always awesome and the margaritas even better! Everything is way better wenn you eat there instead of taking out, but take out is also ok.

Gemütlich und authentisch. Uns hat alles Bestellte hervorragend geschmeckt! Vom Konzept wählt man eine Basis (Burrito/Tacos/Quesedillas) und wählt dazu eine oder mehrere Füllungen.

Essen war leider nicht berauschend und dafür recht "teuer"! Service war ganz nett. Würden allerdings nicht wiederkommen.

Ich würde es auf keinen Fall empfehlen, da die Preise zu hoch sind, das Essen für ein so teures Essen nicht so gut war und der Service mittelmäßig war. Vielleicht gab es Leute, die sich Mühe gaben, den Kunden ein gutes Erlebnis zu bieten, aber es gab auch andere Leute, die einfach eine Grimasse zogen und die Kunden böse ansahen, nur um etwas zu trinken zu bekommen. Sie waren überhaupt nicht freundlich. Die Körpersprache sagt alles.

Nicht gut, dafür um so teurer! Da wir in Düsseldorf fremd waren und mexikanisch essen wollten habe ich mich in Google umgeschaut und war der Meinung, dass ein mit 4,5 bewertetes Restaurant schon passen würde. Mein Frau und ich habe jeweils einen vegetarischen Burrito bestellt. Die mitgelieferte „verde“ Sauce haben wir in eine scharfe Saucen getauscht, die laut Karte genauso teuer waren wie die mitgelieferte „verde“ Sauce. Ich hatte ein großes Bier und meine Frau eine Klassische Margarita für € 8,90. Als das Essen und die Getränke kamen, sind wir fast vom Stuhl gefallen. Die Borittos waren verbrannte Rollen von Irgendetwas, in die lieblos sehr fettiges Gemüse gefüllt waren. Die bestellte scharfe Sauce war noch nicht einmal zu erahnen und die Salatgarnitur hatte offensichtlich schon gesamten Tag auf unsere Ankunft gewartet. (Siehe Bilde) Grundsätzlich ist nichts gegen den Preis von € 8,90 bei einer Margarita zu sagen, aber nicht für diese kleine Menge - das war eine absolute Frechheit (siehe Bild). Als dann abgeräumt wurde, hoffte ich etwas zu der Qualität sagen zu können. Weit gefehlt! Im Vorbeigehen wurden die Teller weg gezogen während sich man sich mit den Kolleginnen unterhielt. Offensichtlich war man nicht sonderlich an den Gästen interessiert. Der Oberkracher war dann, dass auf der Rechnung die beiden ausgetauschten „verde“ Saucen noch berechnet wurden. Zusammengefasst: € 41,50 für Desinteresse und schlechtes Essen. Mein absolutes negatives Highlight im Jahr 2023 war Restaurants angeht.
