Mi Frida Cantina & Bistro in Düsseldorf

Jessica’s catering is outstanding. I have traveled extensively through Mexico and I can tell you that her food is legit and proper Mexican food, especially the tacos. She uses imported Mexican ingredients as much as possible. But the main ingredient is the attention, care and love she puts into her work, and her respect for food and tradition. I would recommend calling Jessica for any party. She’s willing to cater large and small events. This is the best Mexican food I have tried in Germany so far!

Had an amazing private and authentic birthday night at Mi Frida. Next time we will do a tequila tasting as the owner has an extensive variety available, so her expertise. Well done!

We visited there as part of the culinary scavenger hunt. The owners really came up with a lovely little treat that went perfectly with the menu.

A lovely little cantina, lovingly decorated with a cozy atmosphere. The food is freshly prepared, delicious, and authentic. It's wonderful that such a beautiful place now exists here in the north of Düsseldorf. All the best for the future; we'll definitely be back.

Friendly staff! Great patio seating! We went on Friday for tacos…also got the queso fundido and guacamole. Everything was very tasty! Wish I would have saved room for dessert as they looked amazing!! Looking forward to our next visit.

We have been a few times now. Taco Friday is the day to go, yes the menu is a bit more limited, but everything is good. The tacos are just fantastic. We've tried all the fillings by now and they are all delicious. The salsas are great too albeit on the mild side and the guacamole is superb. The standout for me is the fish tacos, just sublime. Excellent value as well. Service is super friendly, cocktails are tasty too. All in all, a great little place in Angermund and well worth a visit, especially on Friday!

Vielleicht sollte man sein Google Business nutzen und die Öffnungszeiten eintragen und zusätzlich angeben das Samstag geschlossen ist.

Endlich ein authentisches mexikanisches Restaurant in diesen Teil der Stadt. Sehr lecker! Personal sehr freundlich.

Absolut empfehlenswert!!! Eine kleine, aber sehr feinen Cantina, die von der sympathischen Inhaberin mit viel Liebe geführt wird. Die Karte bietet mittags und abends leckere Kleinigkeiten, aber auch ausgesuchte Hauptgerichte - alles schmeckt fantastisch! Ebenso der frische Kuchen. Die Cantina liegt direkt an der Anger und im Sommer kann man bestimmt herrlich entspannt unter den Bäumen im kleinen Biergarten sitzen. Eine wahre Bereicherung für den Düsseldorfer Norden! Ich werde noch sehr oft vorbei kommen :) Viel Erfolg weiterhin!

Dieses reizende kleine Café und Restaurant ist eine Bereicherung für Angermund. Wir waren dort um uns am TACOFRIDAY mit köstlichen mexikanischen Tacos einen schönen Abend zu machen. Der Plan hat funktioniert. Die Besitzerin, Jessica Rojas kocht wirklich mexikanisch und es hat uns ganz wunderbar geschmeckt. Die Auswahl an Tacos ist üppig und sehr lecker. Zu empfehlen finde ich die Schweinefleischfüllung. Auch die Chorizo mit Käse überbacken ist köstlich Dazu wurde ein warmes, in Scheiben geschnittenes Brötchen gereicht und auch dieses hat gut geschmeckt. Und erst die Guacamole.... Sie wird frisch zubereitet und wenn man dem Teil der Bevölkerung angehört, der Koriander nicht gerne isst, kann man es mitteilen und bekommt die Guacamole korianderfrei. Der Service ist freundlich, zwar noch ein bisschen ungeübt aber so bezaubernd, das das nicht stört. Wir sind hocherfreut darüber, dass man nun in Angermund auch bis 21.00 frisch gemixte Cocktails bekommen kann. Wir hoffen, das Mi Frida erfolgreich ist und uns dieses kleine Juwel erhalten bleibt.

Wir waren heute spontan zum Essen hier und fanden es geschmacklich ganz gut. Es gibt allerdings nur 4 von 5 Sterne weil die Portionen etwas zu klein waren und wir somit nicht satt wurden.

Wir waren an einem Freitagabend zu dritt vor Ort und haben eine tolle Zeit verbracht. Vor- und Hauptspeisen waren sehr lecker und gut sättigend. En Highlight der Cocktail 'mi frida'. Preislich war es ok und hat sich aufgrund des gemütlichen Ambiente und der netten Bedieung gelohnt. Die beiden Inhaber sind mit Leidenschaft und Liebe dabei. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen einen Besuch.

Gemütliche location, freundliche und herzliche Besitzerin und wirklich authentische, schmackhafte Gerichte - von den Vorspeisen über die Hauptgerichte, Cocktails & Kuchenauswahl gibt es eine wohl-sortierte, knappe Speisekarte. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir sind so glücklich, dass in unserem Angermund endlich mal was Spannendes aufgemacht hat. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Jessica und Familie machen da einen tollen Job, haben eine kleine feine Karte und kochen wie für gute Freunde. Daumen hoch! 🤩
