Food is ok, but you could try harder. I happened to be with another Mexican on the same day and the difference was like night and day. However, the service was super nice!

Food not really special. The boom was missing. Very simply seasoned for Mexican food. The salad on the plates was already slightly brown and the sauce on top seemed to be just sour cream. The service is nice. We had to point out the main course again. The atmosphere is quite nice. Interesting to watch the athletes on the sports field. Ie. Good location.

I've been coming regularly for 3-4 years, I can recommend the burrito with chicken and nachos with cheese as a starter. Dessert churros with chocolate sauce is a must!👍🏼

Ordered Burrito Hacienda to take away twice. At least the food was fresh and neatly packaged. In terms of taste, we got a minced beef roll with a hint of cheese. Some cheap iceberg lettuce and mild salsa sauce were added to the burrito. So I know burritos as a thick bag with rice or potatoes, meat, beans, corn, etc. Sour cream in one. That was really mehhhh. We no longer buy them for €29 per €14.50. Sorry, but no.

We wanted to go there for the first time today and try the food. Arrived at 8:50 p.m. For about 20-25 minutes no one came to the table and we were left alone. Then at around 9:30 p.m. a lady came and just told us the kitchen was closed. When asked when the kitchen closes, she only answers 10 p.m. Hmm. Time wasted unnecessarily. Disrespectful to potentially paying customers. I cannot comment on the food and it is not included in the rating. Will not try again 👍

I had dinner here with my family. Four people liked it very much, two found it good but could be improved. It's just a matter of taste. The nachos with cheese, for example, are very cheesy and rich. The ingredients were fresh and not too spicy. If you like it vegetarian you will also find a few dishes. The fact that you can call the waitress using a flag is very practical. The restaurant is lovingly decorated in Mexican style and the staff is friendly.

1st it appears on maps without reservation. 2nd we walked a long way to get to the hacienda and we had already ordered the drinks, then the owner arrived and in a very bad way told us that that table had a reservation and practically kicked us out. He told us to make a reservation, so don't buy from them if they are going to treat you badly. And the owner scolded the waitresses and they had nothing to do with it. The worst owner

Very good Mexican food. The cactus leaves are unique and taste almost like pickles. Excellent. The ambience is a bit cold in winter. You should have a sweater with you.

Wirklich ein sehr gutes Mexikanisches Restaurant in Gießen. Sehr nettes und schnelles Personal . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt .

Das Essen ist typisch für einen Mexicaner in Deutschland, hat aber nicht sehr viel mit dem tatsächlichen mexicanischen Essen zu tun. Wir hatten 2 Vorspeisen und 2 Hauptgerichte, die alle nicht besonders raffiniert waren. Garnelen in Aioli waren okay, aber auch hier Durchschnitt. Ich persönlich fand eine Toastscheibe dazu nicht sehr passend. Die klassische Margerita wurde mir als Frozen-Version serviert, war nicht besonders geschmacksintensiv. Sie hat vorwiegend nach Zitrone geschmeckt. Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Meine Freundin und ich waren am Samstag zusammen hier essen und wir sind beide wirklich glücklich nach Hause gefahren. Die Nachos waren der Knaller! Schön knusprig, mit 'ner Salsa, die echt der Wahnsinn war. Die Guacamole war schön cremig und richtig lecker. Dann kamen die Chimichangas angerollt, und wir haben uns gefühlt wie in einem mexikanischen Fiesta-Paradies. Die Teile waren perfekt frittiert, gefüllt mit Fleisch und Bohnen. Und zum süßen Finale haben wir uns an Flan und Churros rangemacht. Der Flan war so glatt und schmackhaft, dass ich eigentlich gerne noch einen gegessen hätte. Und die Churros? Knusprig, zimtig und innen fast schon cremig! Da kann jeder Stand auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt einpacken. Die Drinks waren natürlich auch ein Highlight. Der Daiquiri war fast schon wie ein Slushie, mega! Der Service war ebenfalls super freundlich und alles ging sehr schnell, dafür dass der Laden so gut besucht war. Also, zusammengefasst: Wenn ihr auf mexikanisches Essen steht, dann ab in die Hacienda. Von Nachos bis Churros – hier ist Mexiko nicht nur auf der Karte, sondern in jedem Bissen. Probiert's aus und lasst euch von der Mexikanischen Gaumenpolka mitreißen! 🌮🎉

Seit ca 30 Jahren besuche ich die Hacienda immer wieder gerne!!!

Ich finde das Ambiente ganz ok, jedoch sehr kalt (wenig geheizt). Service war gut ohne Mängel Getränke waren auch ok, nicht preiswert. Essen war bei uns kalt und die Portionen sehr gering und übersichtlich. Wir fanden es auch viel zu teuer für die Qualität schade.

Kurze Wartezeit und sehr gute Speisen!

Leider haben wir gestern Abend keine schöne Erfahrung im Hacienda machen müssen. Angefangen hat es mit der Online Reservierung die nicht angekommen ist. Hier habe ich mich telefonisch vorher nochmal danach erkundigt und sie war einfach nicht da. Da wir das Problem bereits vor ein paar Monaten schon hatten, haben wir gedacht, dass dieser Fehler auf der Homepage mittlerweile ausgemerzt ist, war es jedoch nicht. Gestern Abend war dann sehr viel los, was für uns auch ok ist. Jedoch mussten wir mit 2 Kids 2 Stunden auf unser Essen warten. Sorry aber das geht durchaus besser. Nachdem wir gefragt haben, wann wir mit unserem Essen rechnen können, kam es dann auch recht zügig. Zu einem grossen Teil wurden Gäste die später kamen, früher mit Essen bedient. Die Getränke haben ewig gebraucht bis sie auf unserem Tisch standen, sodass hier bereits die gute Laune zum Essen verflog. An unserem Tisch hat es so sehr gezogen, sodass wir nach einer Decke fragen mussten. Das Essen an sich hat leider an Qualität verloren. Das Hackfleisch vom Chimichanga war sehr salzig. Der Salat war trocken. Alles in allem, werden wir vorerst nicht wiederkommen. Schade.

Preisleistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Ambiente ist etwas mau aber es wird durch das gute Essen mehr als ausgeglichen. Geheimtipp für das günstige Date in Gießen😂👌

Essen war sehr gut und das Personal freundlich, wenn auch glaube an der Belastungsgrenze an diesem Tag, zu zweit und recht viel los, aber dafür war die Wartezeit noch sehr überschaubar.

Wir waren 3 Leute,ohne Reservierung an einem Samstag. Trotzdem sehr kurze Wartezeit! Die Mädels die uns bedient haben waren super lieb und nett! Haben fragen beantwortet und waren absolut top! Getränke und Vorspeisen kamen schnell und auch unsere Hauptspeisen kamen genau richtig,waren heiss uns super lecker!! Absolut empfehlenswert!!!!❤️ 20/10⭐️

Lokale Institution, Mexikanische Leitung und sehr leckeres Essen!

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Daher auch zwei Sterne. Das Essen hat uns leider nicht geschmeckt und auch die Qualität hat uns nicht überzeugt.

Das Lokal sieht von außen etwas unscheinbar aus, aber von innen ist es wirklich ein sehr schönes, im Mexikanischen Stil eingerichtetes Restaurant. Hier trifft man auf außerordentlich freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Und nicht zu vergessen, das Essen ist Erstklassisch, alleine dafür gibt es 5 Sterne und für alles andere natürlich auch. *****

Waren schon öfter hier und kommen immer wieder gern. Das mexikanische Restaurant, welche unter original mexikanischer Leitung geführt wird, überzeugt mit einer authentischen Küche. Hier wird frisch und mit Liebe gekocht! ♥️ Die Speisen sind heiß und super lecker und wer keine Angst vor Schärfe hat, kann in der Küche nach extra Schärfe im Essen fragen. 🌶️ Die Einrichtung ist mir persönlich zu kitschig, aber definitiv mit vielen mexikanischen Elementen. Das Personal ist super freundlich. An manchen Tagen wird es sehr voll im Hacienda daher lieber einen Tisch reservieren. An der Stelle klare Empfehlung!

Essen war nur aufgewärmt, hat okay geschmeckt war aber eher kalt. Von Bestellung bis zum Servieren war ein ordentlich langes Zeitfenster obwohl nicht viel los war. Eher unteres Mittelmaß. Nachtisch war gut.

Gutes mexikanisches Essen zu einem Fairen Preis. Wir haben für 4 Personen Hauptgänge als Take-Away bestellt und ungefähr 50€ ohne Trinkgeld bezahlt.

Sehr lecker, vor allem die Churros waren heute ausgezeichnet. Aber hier schmeckt eigentlich einfach alles. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich.

Waren bereits öfter hier essen und qualitativ ist es nicht schlechter geworden. Auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Durch die corona regeln hatten wir Glück überhaupt rein zu kommen, hier sollte man schon reservieren. Kommen gerne wieder vorbei.

Es war ok. Der Laden war nicht wirklich voll, aber 90 Minuten nach Eintreffen erst die Hauptspeisen zu bekommen ist schon sportlich. Es war alles qualitativ ok, aber mehr leider auch nicht. Also das “original mexikanisch“ im Essen hab ich ein Bisschen vermisst. Und schade war auch, dass nicht einmal im Hintergrund etwas Musik lief, um so etwas wie eine Grundstimmung/Ambiente zu erzeugen. Dafür war das Servicepersonal wirklich sehr freundlich und bemüht.

War jetzt das zweite Mal hier essen, diesmal in Größerer Runde und wieder nichts zu meckern. Das Essen kam zügig und war super lecker. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat sich auch Zeit genommen um uns die Gerichte zu erklären. Wer mal richtig und authentisch mexikanisch essen möchte muss unbedingt hier her kommen. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

My family just returned from a birthday dinner for my oldest son, who just turned 21 and had requested Mexican food as his birthday celebration meal.
