Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. The waitress seemed bad-tempered and stressed, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. We also had to wait about an hour and a half for our food, which was really too long. When the food finally came, some parts of our order were missing as the waitress apparently forgot to write everything down. I hope this was just a one off incident as I would like the service and atmosphere to be better in the future.

The service at this restaurant was deeply disappointing. The waiter seemed perpetually unhappy, greeting us with a frown that made the experience unwelcoming from the start. Even though we had a reservation and arrived just ten minutes early due to light traffic, we were not allowed to be seated. Instead, we were curtly told, "You're too early." Once we were finally seated, the delays were unacceptable. We placed our order promptly but ended up waiting an excruciating hour and a half for our food. Considering the simplicity of the dishes, it’s hard to understand why it took so long. When I ordered an ensalada—pronouncing it in Spanish—the waiter claimed, "We don’t have that." I had to show her the item on the menu to clarify. Even worse, when the food finally arrived, one item was missing because the waiter forgot to write it down. This mistake caused yet another delay. The drinks and food were served in a rushed, almost dismissive manner, which made us feel unwelcome throughout the meal. We chose this restaurant hoping for a warm atmosphere, good drinks, and enjoyable food. Unfortunately, the poor service completely ruined the experience and fell far short of our expectations. I strongly suggest that management take steps to improve their service standards. Staff should be better trained in professionalism, attentiveness, and customer care. It’s essential to create a more welcoming environment for guests. Our evening could have been much more enjoyable if we had received better service

Good food, service good. Food was at the table quickly. The service person was alone, someone was responsible for drinks behind the counter, she worked excellently, quickly, friendly and perfectly. Gladly again.

Service was very unfriendly, wishes were not fulfilled. People were literally driven away because of the Christmas party which was only 1.5 hours later. Food was partly burnt and cold. Funny and ridiculous how criticism is handled here. Our request was just a starter and a dish without cheese. But feel free to tell tall tales and be unprofessional just because we were a group of young adults. impudence.

We ate there on our anniversary and were even able to select “date” when making the online reservation. This resulted in us being seated at the middle of three two-person tables in an almost completely empty restaurant. Actually we were a group of 6 people because the tables were almost edge to edge. The waitress gave the whole thing something of a rustic village pub (in this case not meant in a positive way) by not making the effort to greet and serve her guests individually, but rather shouting loudly “everyone can listen now” and sharing the daily menu and other information with us “Group” shared. As it became clear shortly afterwards with the next couple who arrived, it would have made little sense to ask for another table because their request was simply rejected. The furnishings seemed quite cheap and in some places the decorations looked homemade (again, not a compliment). The taste of the food was okay, but the side dishes were quite unevenly distributed among the individual dishes. While the tacos were only filled with meat and some onions and a little lettuce, the fajitas came with tons of vegetables that you could never have eaten. The assumption that the vegetables in question would be for both dishes was obvious, but was wrong because the neighboring table also had tacos, which were just as sparsely topped, but no other vegetables in sight. It was easy to see because we were basically sitting shoulder to shoulder. The whole thing wasn't really worth it.

Yesterday the three of us had dinner with our son. The sauce in my husband's dish was completion, which was just way too "thick". I had fries for €4.20 with my burger. The quantity of these was disproportionate to the price. Our son's buritos were good, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right here either. The atmosphere was really nice, but actually too expensive for the service provided.

Hello, my girlfriend and I were at the stand at the Christmas market yesterday. The food was delicious and freshly prepared and served with love. I have never eaten such a delicious burrito in my life. Simply amazing!!! Price performance TOP!

Hello, I just ordered something via Uber and found a hair in the food. Wasn't that appetizing...

"Next time we'll go back to the Asian place." - we were able to overhear this sentence at the next table and unfortunately we have to agree with it in essence. Even though the reservation over the phone worked well, we didn't have any fond memories of the actual visit to the restaurant. Food: We received our food 1.5 hours after ordering. And unfortunately it wasn't convincing. The fries were definitely finished and on top of that (before the complaint) they were completely soggy. The replacement was then in the deep fryer long enough. In terms of taste, they were the absolute standard, typical standard frozen fries from the deep fryer with salt. The dips, on the other hand, were very good, but unfortunately they were the only thing that really had any taste. Both the corn on the cob and the burritos tasted very bland, almost tasteless - which is why it was interesting that a review just 6 days ago mentioned that the burritos were oversalted. The portions as such were very large, but we would all have preferred less if it had tasted better. Regarding the service: The staff tried hard, but unfortunately were completely overwhelmed. In addition to the fact that not only we, but also the surrounding tables had to wait forever for the food, something that we hadn't ordered was delivered, taken away again and ultimately billed anyway. In the first half hour we were still asked if everything was okay - unfortunately the idea that two hours later the drinks might be empty didn't occur to anyone. Concrete criticism of the food was not questioned, but was dismissed with the deadpan argument of "lack of staff" and ultimately ignored - or the soggy fries were actually taken away, but the replacement only came 30 minutes later - when we had actually already finished eating. All in all, a rather sobering visit to the restaurant. It's nice that reservations etc. went smoothly, but as a Mexican in Schweinfurt I can now recommend the Chumbos with a much better conscience than the Hombre. It was worth a try, but unfortunately we can't understand the numerous good reviews at this point.

Definitely a class Mexican! Everything fresh and prepared last minute, not warmed up like others in SW. Could be a touch spicier or offer the option. Price-performance ratio is also right. We'll be back!

Online reservation in another room didn't work, we got another seat. We found it cold in the restaurant. Cocktails are ok. The food was okay, but something went wrong when ordering. Service ok too. Unfortunately, the beef in the fajitas was not tender and the grilled vegetables were rather fried. Overall ok.

We had dinner with a few people and everyone ordered something different. Food was super tasty and the portions are really big, we all struggled 😄. Burritos were a bit over salted. The food tastes fresh and delicious. Homemade lemonades were also super tasty. Ambience very inviting. We'll be back 😁🙏

We were at Hombre with a group of four. The food was tasty and well prepared. Our waitress (the oldest lady) apparently had a bad day and dealt with us very briefly and not very sympathetically. When asked whether you can change the dip in a dish, there was a rather stroppy and energetic short lecture about why you can't pursue your wish. But okay, so be it. Cashed in and then a younger employee who was very friendly and accommodating. (The other lady was now off work) She also very kindly explained to us that the discount advertised for students on the website was no longer offered. She apologized 2-3 times for it and was visibly uncomfortable (I think this situation happens often) that her boss apparently doesn't want to remove it. I think we'll come back because the food was delicious. But the false advertising and the stroppy employee at the beginning leave a bad aftertaste.

The three of us were recently in the restaurant and can give positive feedback, especially about the food. This was our third time there because we wanted to give the restaurant one last chance (the other two times were quite soon after it opened). The food tastes really good now! However - like the drinks - they are a bit more expensive compared to other Mexican restaurants. We had the fajitas de pollo, a burger and burritos. The service seemed quite cool, but was still friendly. The ambience is appealing. All in all we were very satisfied and would come there again.

Without exaggeration, Hombre is one of the best Mexican restaurants here in Schweinfurt and the surrounding area. The dishes and drinks are not only incredibly tasty, but also prepared with a lot of love and beautifully presented. The service was very warm and attentive, which made me immediately feel at home. Added to this is the lively and inviting atmosphere, which made the evening simply perfect. Overall, a restaurant that I can highly and warmly recommend.

Went to Hombre Essen again yesterday. After many good experiences, this time we unfortunately fell for it. We didn't make a reservation, but got a table outside because there was still a lot available. The first drinks arrived after about 15 minutes, but it took about 40 minutes before we could order food. At that time, about 10 other guests who came after us had already placed their orders. Unfortunately we sat outside at the table in the middle, which was pretty much ignored. The service staff always walked around the outside and skillfully ignored us until I intercepted someone. Then we were finally able to order. We also each received a liqueur as a small compensation, but it didn't do anything for me. At some point after almost 2 hours we got the food. My wife and daughter liked it, but unfortunately I didn't. The Taco Pollo wasn't anything great. On top of that, my wife's limo was missing the mangoes that were supposed to be in it. Well, there was something wrong with it yesterday. Since we have already experienced it differently, at least 3 stars, although it would actually have been 0 for yesterday evening. By the way, the location itself is really beautiful.

The burrito was tasteless and consisted mostly of unseasoned chicken with traces of zucchini rice and peppers. The tacos for 17 euros were a disgrace, three tacos with around 50g of dry pulled pork per taco, nothing else. Sauces not good either. The salad was also very bland and bland. I would advise against it. This is neither good nor Mexican.

Overall the restaurant has a very good atmosphere. The food was served very quickly and the staff was very understanding and helpful. We had fajitas and tacos, very tasty and good quantity on the plates. Barbecue ribs are also a must. We will be back soon!

The restaurant is really beautiful and colorful. Unfortunately, some of the waitresses are quite unfriendly. We had reserved, but didn't get the table in the room we wanted. The food is fresh, but the taste is no more than OK, but the Mexican in Würzburg is way better. What we personally found worst (and was actually the main reason for our visit) was that there was no student discount according to the staff, even though it was communicated that way on the website. Unfortunately we won't be coming again.

Unfortunately we felt more like a nuisance than welcome. We got a table outside in the garden on Tuesday evening at short notice and without a reservation. The vegetarian tortillas and homemade soda were good. Only the waitress was probably having a bad day and was quite grumpy.

Rarely eaten so un-Mexican! We each had the taco special for an ambitious €22 per portion - you'd expect something! What came after three quarters of an hour of waiting was a real disappointment: 4 small soft tacos filled with grilled strips of beef and chicken breast, fried sweet potatoes and pulled pork. Add a thimbleful of tasteless white sauce (probably the sour cream?), half a roughly diced tomato (the pico de gallo?) and half a diced red onion. All in all, a far-dry, loveless, half-cold, practically unseasoned affair that was only served with half a liter of beer. Since the service in the garden was unremarkable, we couldn't complain until we had almost finished eating. But really, people! Where was the guacamole - or any mole? Where was the cheese? Where were the lettuce strips? Where was the tomato salsa - or any salsa? And again as a reminder: 22 €!!!!! Despite the beautiful beer garden, there is still a lot of room for improvement here, both in terms of food and service!

My wife and I had a very nice evening in this restaurant yesterday. Here are our very positive impressions/experiences: Very nice stylish furnishings and ambience. Very nice service (asked with/after every order if everything was ok and often). Very good food. Everything tasted very good. Above all: The menu provides very good information. Even on the first page, individual dishes are presented very well with pictograms and brief information. But the individual description of the individual dishes in particular is very detailed. And that's exactly what you get. For example, fajitas 400 gr. This gives you a very precise indication. Burritos and quesadillas as pictograms, I can immediately see which ones are bigger/smaller. Questions are answered comprehensively and very friendly. Highly recommended!

The waitress named Manu was great! The food was top. The menu also states whether the dishes are gluten free or not. 10/10 We'll definitely go there again!

We enjoyed our first visit there as the service was very nice and attentive. The only “disturbing thing” was that our food came as soon as it was ordered...really less than 5 minutes later. Since the food wasn't very hot, it was probably just "warmed" - maybe it has to be that way, but if everything is cold after the first bite, that's a shame. That lessened the joy a bit, but we were still full. But therefore 1 star deducted.

I am really disappointed with this restaurant. Been there twice now, the food is really bad. And I'm not a person who complains about every little thing, but this has nothing to do with fresh Mexican cuisine. I think people have lost their taste, sorry, and don't know what original Mexican cuisine means. Burrito, wraps, quesadilla is the basic basis of a tortilla dough throughout Mexico that you can make fresh yourself, here ready-made wraps from the package were used. A homemade guacamole dip consists of tomatoes, lime juice and onion pieces and garlic. Almost everything was missing here and the avocado wasn't even chopped up. Salsa dip was ready from the jar. The menu said fresh sweet potatoes in the quesadilla, I got 2 pieces with fries from the package inside. I paid 25 euros for that? My girlfriend wanted to order a small portion of tortilla chips, it wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu and when we asked we were told it wasn't possible. So I'm sorry, that has nothing at all to do with fresh Mexican cuisine, especially the chips that are actually called Totopos in the original and not (tortilla) chips were not available to order as a small portion. The service was super friendly and very nice and were just doing their job in this regard, but the owner should still think about his restaurant, especially when it comes to the chef. If I already have a Mexican restaurant, I should also convey Mexico to the customers, especially with freshly homemade dishes. In my opinion, the ambience is also decorated too much with this Mexican skull, well that's a matter of taste but Mexico doesn't just have the skull as a symbol. Well, unfortunately I just don't think it's good.

We had ordered a table for 4 people. When we got to the restaurant, some of the tables were occupied, but not all of them. We quickly had our seat and our menu, after some time we had also chosen drinks, starters and main course, had also looked at the dessert menu, had memorized our choice of dishes, but we were NOT served. It wasn't that there was a lack of staff, I counted 6 waitresses including the bartender, and there was always one who came near our table, but somehow everyone ignored us almost frantically. A young waitress kept walking back and forth, but only walking, she didn't look left or right, let alone take an order from anyone. We watched this spectacle for about 20 minutes, then got up and left. So we can't judge food and drinks, you have to give 1 star, otherwise you can't send the review, I don't give it ONE star

The conditions were very nice, unfortunately the vegan selection was very limited (1 salad, 1 bowl), the taste of the burrito was okay. Unfortunately, due to the defective ventilation, the doors were opened (in the evening in March) so that there was a draft in the entire restaurant and it was really very unpleasantly cold.

Nettes Ambiente am Marienbach. Der Service war durchweg toll, das Personal war immer greifbar und hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Die portieren waren sehr groß und schön auf den Tellern angerichtet. Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber und es gab Damen Hygieneartikel, das fand ich sehr nett. Preislich war das ganze auch echt in Ordnung, ich hatte vor, haupt und Nachspeise und 2 Getränke und dafür knapp 33€ bezahlt. Gerne wieder, danke für den tollen Abend

Die Barkeeper waren super nett. Abgesehen von einer Bedienung waren auch die sehr freundlich und fix. Haben uns Cocktails und Desserts gegönnt!!

Wir waren am 15.12 dort zum Essen ( Weihnachtsfeier) 9 Leute. Bedienung/Personal war freundlich und schnell, wurden auch öfters gefragt ob alles passt usw…. Essen war auch wirklich lecker und schön angerichtet 👍 allerdings gibt es 2 Sterne Abzug weil ich als Frau definitiv nicht satt wurde (normale Figur/ normale Esserin ) ich hatte Taco de Camaron und war von der Portion sehr enttäuscht für ca 18.00 Euro sollte man satt werden, leider bin ich hungrig aus dem Lokal.

Preis Leistung stimmt nicht... Fleisch sehr oellastig, zaeh, Salat nicht angemacht, kein essig, oel, Salz, Pfeffer auf dem Tisch. Es wird nur eine sourcreme gereicht. 3 schuesselchen auf dem Teller, damit dieser voll wirkt. Getränke in Karte teilweise nicht verfügbar, Cocktails nicht dem original entsprechend, sehr suess, wo ist der Alkohol darin? 4 mal Aufforderung zur Bewertung, ruppige Bedienung, fragt zu oft, wollen sie zahlen... Kurzum, fuer uns keine Empfehlung wert, das geht besser, viel Luft nach oben.... Ambiente war das beste an dem Abend, Musikbeschallung zu laut, Gespraech dadurch erschwert.

Personally wouldn’t recommend to anyone The sauces taste like they were bought and the salsa is definitely not fresh. The veggie potions are substituted with sweet potatoes and cheese. It gave me a stomach ache after dinner with my family

La comida estuvo deliciosa. Pedimos 3 órdenes de tacos una de pollo, una de carne y otra de cerdo (esta fue espectacular), esta última la recomiendo mucho. Las tortillas estaban muy buenas y tenían un ligero sabor a carbón, la carne era jugosa y tenía muy buen sazón. Además pedimos una margarita y una de sus cervezas premium ( Guzmán y González Negra). La cerveza tenía un ligero sabor frutal y a caramelo, realmente para repetirse. Lo único que hubiese querido cambiar de mis platillos era tener salsa verde o roja para acompañar mis tacos. Aunque obvio, pude haber pedido las salsas del menú, siento que deberían estar incluidas en las órdenes de tacos. Aún así, fue de los mejores Tacos que he probado en Alemania y me hace muy feliz tenerlos cerca de mi.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen war innerhalb von fünfzehn Minuten auf dem Tisch. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und als Aufmerksamkeit gab es noch einen kleinen Schokonikolaus, weil es der 6. Dezember war.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Gerichte sind optisch auch schön angerichtet. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls sehr gut. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend bei Euch.

Super leckeres Essen, definitiv zu empfehlen.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal das auch mal beim vorbeigehen gefragt hat ob alles passt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Wartezeit darauf war auch ok. Den Tisch hatte ich glücklicherweise vorher reserviert, da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war.

Wunderschöne Location. Und jetzt im Winter das Winterdorf ist herrlich. Bester Glühwein und super Louge. Macht weiter so.

Wir haben gerade bei schönsten Ambiente und super Servic mega lecker gegessen. Wir kommen immer gerne zu euch!!! Besser geht es nicht mehr.

... haben versucht einen Tisch zu reservieren. Nachdem niemand nach ca. 5 Versuchen während der Öffnungszeiten ans Telefon ging, haben wir den Reservierungswunsch und Telefonnummer auf Band gesprochen (AB hat um Telefonnummer gebeten mit dem Versprechen dass man zurück gerufen wird). Leider hat natürlich niemand zurück gerufen. Als wir dann endlich am Tag später jemanden telefonisch erreichten hat man uns sehr unfreundlich und patzig abgefertigt mit der abschliessenden Aussage dass der AB generell nie abgehört wird. Kundenservice einfach nur enttäuschend. Aber zum Glück müssen wir da nie mehr hin ;-) So, gestern Abend hat es nun geklappt... Von der Reservierung über den Service und natürlich das Essen waren wir sehr zufrieden. Kajus und Manu mit Team sind sehr um die Gäste bemüht und machen wirklich einen guten Job. Nach dem Essen hatten wir noch ein nettes Gespräch mit dem Chef, er erklärte uns den Fehler mit der Telefonanlage. Vielen Dank für alles und bis bald. Gerne wieder.

Leckeres Essen und Getränke, beides auch schön hergerichtet, keine lange Wartezeiten auf Essen/Getränke, Service war sonst auch gut (kamen immer wieder und haben gefragt ob wir noch was wollen). Ich bin von das Essen (als Frau) satt geworden aber ich denke mein Mann hätte noch Hunger nach dem Essen gehabt..
