The Ristorante Havana is a unique place, whether with a family or without. Even alone in solitude, I can drink here without a care in the world or drink with the other guests or those on duty. It's a testament to the friendliness and politeness of the staff, which always gives me the feeling of having a refuge from our sometimes strenuous life. I'm grateful that at least the Havana still exists, as can be partly expressed by the closure of the Limericks or the cocktail club Bambi. Here... I feel welcome.

Ambiance was great. Typically Havana. The food was ok this time. The table service was annoyed. A hint from the annoyed waitress that you had to pack the food yourself if you wanted to take the leftovers with you would have been cool. The Cuba Libre was good. The non-alcoholic cocktails too. We'd love to come back for drinks. But not for the food. Love you

Have eaten there very often. Lots of choice, delicious food. It only gets too loud in the evenings. You always have to make a reservation otherwise unfortunately there won't be anything in the evening. 😒

Great, cozy atmosphere, very tasty food with good portions at very fair prices (2 people total around 40 euros). Recommendation - Tacos Chili con Carne. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back, a little holiday feeling included 🌴🇨🇺

We were at the Havana in Paderborn for the first time today, the food and drinks were of the finest quality, there was nothing to complain about here......BUT: The service is simply subpar: we had barely put our forks aside after the last bite , an employee came to our table and clearly asked us to pay and leave. We then replied that we wanted to have something more to drink. As soon as we had taken the last sip, the same employee asked us again to vacate our seats. To be honest, we planned to spend a nice, cozy evening in Paderborn, but we didn't want to be processed like we were in a "feeding barracks". In any case, we absolutely cannot recommend the restaurant “Havanna” in Paderborn. The service is underground and we don't support something like that!

We were there recently with a larger group. The service was okay for the group size and tried hard. The drinks, mostly cocktails, were OK to good. The Caipis were very mixed when I saw them (not stirred properly, sometimes cubes instead of crush, which makes the drink really hard on the first sips). The food was just mediocre. For example, my steak was tough (I wasn't asked how I wanted it). For the others, the food wasn't a revelation either. The room was much too cold in places. Many sat on a bench with their backs to a window where it was cold. Very uncomfortable and uncomfortable in the long run.

Unfortunately, I have ordered 2 quesadillas with chicken and paid 30€ via Uber eats and as Uber eats do not allow comments, I decided to come here and put my review. I ate worst quesadilla of my life. Literally you cannot call it quesadilla, as they just put whole chiken in between tortilla and they called this quesadilla. After few bites I just left as it is. Big chunks of chicken inside the tortilla without toasted and closed it is just look like a big mess. I am kindly asking chef of this restaurant or owner to go to El Chingon restaurant which just few miles away and just try quesadilla. Never again

Turned up unannounced, the waiting staff could accommodate us for one hour ( we stayed for two hours). Despite not being able to speak German (as a group - Mark saved us), the food we ordered from the menu was absolutely amazing, delicious and better than any Mexican I have visited in England! If you are ever in paderborn, go to this 5star restaurant!!!

A super annoying waiter who almost took your plate away while you were eating. Then everything is much too narrow and dark. Cocktails are fine and I can happily skip a burrito and steak.

We had a nightcap there, delicious cocktails and ate Zapatta, delicious as a small snack with the drink. The music wasn't too loud, you could still have a good conversation. We really liked it. Afterwards we went to our hotel Asperthera.

The drinks (cocktails) were very tasty. I don't have to go there again to eat. Overall, the restaurant is very old. Staff was nice but time was hectic. Atmosphere was rather loud! In summer you can also sit outside Central location

Recommended for in between and a few cocktails. Prices are quite ok. But you shouldn't expect top-class gastronomy when it comes to food. When it comes to service, it is worth training the staff one way or another.

There were two of us, the food was delicious and at a good price. Unfortunately we had really bad service. The bald man was really unfriendly right from the start, and the way he spoke to us in a condescending manner was out of place. Unfortunately, this meant that we didn't feel well and left quickly after eating. The first time in my life that I didn't leave a tip.

I have traveled many places in Europe. We stopped by to eat at this place and ordered grilled meat. It was the worst grilled meat dish I have ever eaten. I don't think they know how to cook meat. You cannot taste the meat because our dish is covered with tomato sauce. Even a little girl could make French fries better. The waitress serving is indifferent and irrelevant.

Went there with 5 people and it was a really nice evening. We would love to come back and the service was very nice. The price-performance ratio is top. In summary, a very, very good bar for nice evenings

Our visit to this restaurant was a complete disappointment. The waiter treated us very badly from the start. He was rude, condescending and made no attempt to welcome us. It seemed as if we were a nuisance to him and every question or request was met with an unfriendly answer. The service was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. We felt completely uncomfortable and unwanted. This behavior ruined the entire visit and we definitely won't recommend this restaurant.

There was a big robot with little hair on his head as a waiter, but unfortunately from a technical point of view he is not able to deal with people. A software update with more politeness would be really nice. Thank you and never again

The food tasted quite good and was plentiful, but unfortunately the service was lousy. Even though the restaurant was quite empty, it took a long time for our drinks to arrive. When the drinks came, no food order was taken, which again took a long time to arrive. There were 5 of us at the table, but food was only delivered for 3. The rest of the food was forgotten and had to be reordered. There was no apology or anything like that from the staff. A small piece of blue rubber band was found in the Pico de Gallo. Anything can happen, but unfortunately it's bad overall.

The service was good, very nice and accommodating. The food came quickly and the price-performance ratio was great, the portions were sufficient. Paid just under €40 for two people with a starter, drinks and main course.👍🏻 Parking is difficult to find since it is in the city center.

Went there at lunchtime a few weeks ago (there was hardly anything going on in the store). It was pure disaster. There were 6 of us. Each of us received our food at a significantly delayed time. A dish was brought to the table incorrectly. After a short discussion it was then "cooked" again and it was worse than before because the meat was completely dry. You could see straight away that the cook just threw it into the pan so that it would be ready quickly. The worst thing was that we had children with us. We called ahead so that the kitchen would have the children's food ready by the time we arrived. When we arrived no one knew anything.

It's not possible to wait over an hour for your food. And that's just for tacos. I can't recommend the store more

What is left of Havana, as I was able to get to know before Corona? The Alster is sold as draft beer. The owner didn't think it was necessary to make this clear. It's not easy when non-alcoholic Alster water is on the menu under the draft beer section. The flautas were homemade, as were the goacamole and the salad dressing. All pretty much tasteless. The menus are so greasy and dirty, I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like. At the unfortunate end, the waiter's annoyed disinterest. (it was the owner) I would say: and goodbye

Fantastic Paderborn restaurant. If you really want to eat delicious food and receive excellent service, go to Havana. The food (I am vegetarian, my husband is not) is rich, fresh and really very tasty. The hospitality is professional, we feel very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Sat outside in wonderful weather - food was okay - but no revelation. But actually very large portions. The service was a little uncoordinated - the waitress in particular avoided any eye contact and thus also the opportunity to take orders. Again? Maybe, maybe it was just a bad day.

Ferri was an amazing server , simply the best , and not to mention the food was delicious . Try the champagne sauce and mushrooms with steak , it’s so good , I cleaned my whole plate. Ugh it was so good.

The chicken breast fillet burritos were ok 3 stars. The out of breath steak tasted like a block of meat, just way too hard, it was the worst steak I've eaten so far. The potato that came with the steak was good 5 stars. The salad afterwards was accordingly all the tastier. So for the just over €30 I paid for it, it hurts a bit that I wouldn't order it again. If the next time comes, I hope I won't be disappointed again. Delivery time was stated to be around 30 minutes. The food arrived after around 45 minutes.

Hello Team Havana! Had dinner with you today. I had “Goodbye Concubine” and two turkey skewers. First of all, tortillas with guacamole. In short, everything tasted bland and without any kick. The rice pan was so tasteless, I could have eaten clay. I think it has more buttons. All the pale and tasteless shrimp corpses didn't help. Don't restaurateurs have to fight for every customer in these times? The friendly waitress listened to my criticism patiently and in a friendly manner. Boss preferred to sneak around the counter area. I come to you again and again. You've gotten worse, clearly!

Food was terrible especially the meat. Avocado cream was not tasty. Not worth it, which is a shame.

Wer mexikanische Küche liebt und dazu noch gerne leckere Cocktails genießt, ist im Havana in Paderborn genau richtig. Sehr coole Atmosphäre mit einer tollen Mischung aus Restaurant und Bar. Wir hatten Fajitas mit Hähnchenbrust für zwei Personen, super lecker und mit tollen Beilagen. Die Cocktails waren der Hammer, unter anderem haben wir Mojito und La Princesa Sita getrunken. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Havana.

The service was horrible. At the beginning a waiter came to us. It was clear to him that he didn't feel like serving us and he rolled his eyes when we ordered. Then a girl took over and she was very unsure of what she was doing. The waiter, who was a bit short and slim, had some behavioral problems and it is suspected that he had consumed drugs. He had such a passive aggressive demeanor for no reason. We even gave him a tip and he was still so excited to leave quickly...My husband and I were speechless. We definitely won't be coming back. Otherwise the store is nicely furnished. A pity

Reserved a table at 7:30 p.m. Were there at 7:25 p.m. We were told in a very unfriendly manner that the table had been given away because they thought we weren't coming. Then we got another one... the drinks took forever as if they didn't want to make any money. The girls were very nice as waitresses. But the gentleman was really very unfriendly.

I go there regularly and really enjoy it. The service is quick and courteous. All the dishes I have ordered so far have been very tasty. Looking forward to next time.

I was there relatively early during the week, so it wasn't that busy and the food came promptly. The vegetarian fajitas were very tasty and so plentiful that there would easily have been enough for two. The leftovers were happily packed away upon request. The service was friendly and quick. Will come back and try one of the countless cocktails next time.

On a Saturday there were 13 of us who had made reservations in advance. We were on time and shown to our table. It then took 30 minutes until everyone had their drink, but not everything could be ordered because there were no strawberries. Some compromises would have to be made when it comes to drinks. A pity! Then everyone ordered their food and it took another 35 minutes. And when we ordered drinks again, two drinks were forgotten. Not so great. Well, one thing was very nice to watch. People who came after us had already had their food when we got our drinks. I will not give my recommendation for large groups.
