Super delicious food. I'd love to come back.

Food was bad. Very bad came late and was full of salt and tasted like nothing as it came out of a can. Very low quality of all 3 dishes we ordered. The only plus was the service.

The (Mexican) restaurant was visited with a group of around 30 people. The service seemed overwhelmed with this group of people. The majority of the quesadillas/enchiladas ordered at our table were rated as barely seasoned/bland. The salad dressing was also uniformly described as almost unseasoned. The highlight was my question at the counter as to whether mezcal was offered regardless of the menu. The waitress' reaction was that she asked the bartender and they both replied that they didn't know what mezcal was. As a result, this restaurant is significantly below its Cologne competitors Casita Mexicana and Cafe Especial in terms of food and drinks. Unfortunately not recommended.

I found the service to be very good and special requests were taken into account. My meal was very tasty. And beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, chilli con carne wasn't really made with carne. And extremely sharp.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the food. After asking for a table in English, 3 different servers walked by and ignored me for 10 minutes, despite my attempts to get their attention. I never even got a menu before I got the hint and decided to try my luck elsewhere.

The food was of good quality! The ingredients were fresh. However, it had little to do with Mexican food. It's typical, Germanized food, and as a real fan of Mexican cuisine, I was a little disappointed. There was nothing more than avocado in the guacamole. No real, fresh salsa was served. The tacos consisted of stuffed chips! The chili con carne had hardly any flavor and was full of canned corn. To pay, I waited at the table for 25 minutes and then another 20 minutes at the counter. The atmosphere was stylish and inviting, and the drinks were delicious! Overall, the prices were too high for me because it simply wasn't original enough. Otherwise, I'm happy to pay these prices if it's really authentic. I can only recommend this restaurant for those who don't feel like spices!

We were really looking forward to the food. Everything looked delicious, but an hour and a half later and after five burritos passed us, our burritos still weren't there. We had asked about our food at least twice before and were asked several times what we ordered. Finally we just left. I can't recommend it.

We were here today with 3 girls and were very satisfied. We sat outside and were greeted warmly and quickly got our cocktails and food. Cocktails were delicious, food was tasty and the plates were well filled. We recommend. We'll be back because of the nice service, which was very friendly despite the stress and long distances.

Very spacious inside and outside also.. German and English speaking staff. Very nice food and a pleasant service by the kind lady that served us. Lovely to see a nice variety of food restaurants in Köln. Good value for money and I would recommend.

Paid so much and the food was very terrible. I've never eaten a fajita with nutmeg like that in my life. That's Carmen's and so much was put into it that I could hardly eat it. Since when have people eaten fajita with nutmeg? You couldn't even eat the vegetables. Otherwise the service was very good and the waitress apologized several times even though she couldn't help it. But never again for your price!!!

I recently dined at this restaurant with a friend and was surprised to find that they only offer QR codes on the table as menus, with no physical menus available. While QR codes are common, the absence of traditional menus felt bizarre to me. This approach forces customers to use their phones to access the menu, which is inconvenient if someone's phone doesn't support QR codes or if they forgot their phone at home or if the access to the internet is unavailable or slow. Apart from that, who wants to read through the menu on a tiny screen and constantly scroll down, as compared to a physical menu? The last thing anyone wants when sitting at a restaurant is to grab their phone, search for the QR code scanner, follow the steps, scroll down, etc.. as opposed to just have a regular menu directly in front of them. Anyway, the food was enjoyable, although as many other reviewers mentioned, the rice tasted bland, as if it was from a can or frozen. The service was also fast and satisfactory.

There were two of us there, my food came a little earlier than my partner's. The waitress accidentally classified it incorrectly in terms of priority. It can happen and it wasn't that tragic. As compensation we got a cocktail and 2 shorts on the house. Really all the waiters are very attentive and quick to help you. The food is super delicious and can only be recommended. Spoiler: Absolutely disappointing, small portions that have little to do with Mexican food in terms of taste! We didn't make a reservation because we decided spontaneously. Once we arrived it seemed quite nice. Since everything else was reserved, we had to sit on totally uncomfortable high chairs. We were still optimistic about the starter (Nacho Machos). The portion was large for two people and it tasted good. The main courses were disappointing... Pavorito: Portion not large but still okay, instead of the cheese sauce it was only gratinated with sprinkled cheese, little spice and taste, the sour cream had no taste and the salad (a huge portion in comparison) with a small dash of mayo, otherwise nothing but dressing. Quesadas: Total disappointment, portion very small and flat like a flounder, almost no filling and very dry, very lightly seasoned, 3 threads of cheese, the vegetables weren't really there, sour cream only a little on the edge for the look and you couldn't see any of the salsa , the salad mixed purely with mayo, the rice is simply mixed with frozen peas and a little curry powder, otherwise very dry and no taste. The main courses have nothing to do with Mexican food, absolutely disappointing. In addition, as “walk-in customers” you were subliminally treated in a second-class manner. Guests who had reserved were served soup with bread and another side dish without asking. And according to the service, card payment is not possible because it is broken. If you go by another review, it has been broken for 3 years.

The food in this restaurant was uniquely delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive. What is particularly worth mentioning is that we even got free soup during the fast. Guter Mexikaner, im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen, dort wird man leider öfters von komischen Leuten angesprochen ob man Geld hat. Daher lieber rein, das Essen ist super und die Bedienungen waren immer nett.

Si Claro ist ein Ort der mich hat an einen tollen Lebensabschnitt teilnehmen lassen. Seit 1999 Geschmak & Service treu unverändert, hierzu gehört auch Hakan. Immer bemüht und freundlich. Leider immer wieder voll besucht, spontan zu sein bringt Wartezeit mit sich. Lohnt sich dennoch.

Wir waren zu unserer Weihnachtsfeier da. Es war alles perfekt.

Ambiente ist in Ordnung. Personal freundlich. Frische Zubereitung der Speisen. Jedoch Preis-/Leistung nicht ganz passend. Preise sind etwas zu hoch für die Portionen. Könnte man verbessern.

Schöne Location mit leckeren Gerichten. Der Service ist flott und freundlich. Das Essen hat etwas auf sich warten lassen, aber aufgrund des hohen Andrangs noch im Rahmen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Awesome lunch experience with Mexican food. The fajita plate as well as quesadillas were delicious with fresh and well grilled ingredients and especially the fajita plate was a pretty big portion. The staff was attentive and delightful.

Kartenzahlung nicht möglich weil Lockdown so hart war also mal ehrlich keine schöne Zeit gewesen ok aber heute so offiziell seine Einnahmen verschleiern fraglich. Langweilige Karte hat für mich nix mit authentischen Mexikaner zutun und der Service war so überragend dass wir gleich wieder gegangen sind.

Das Essen war nichts besonderes. Die Saußen langweilig und bei den Fajitas das Rind sehr trocken gebraten.

Sehr spannende und interessante Speisen von hoher Qualität. Hot Pod Essen ist etwas für viele Personen die Spaß haben was Neues auszuprobieren. Das Personal hilft gut weiter und berät sehr gerne.

Das Essen war lecker, aber nicht besonders. Die Mittagskarte ist zu empfehlen, da es sonst teuer ist.

Sehr freundliche Bedingungen und gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Die Portionen haben die perfekte größe und es schmeckt sehr lecker :) Die Toiletten sind sauber, jedoch leider nicht barrierefrei zu erreichen.

Es war ok. Nur Barzahlung und Speisekarte nur über QR Code fanden wir nicht so toll. Die Enchiladas in anderen Restaurants haben mir besser geschmeckt.

Wenn jemand mexikanisches Essen, ohne die ganze extrems laute und bunte Atmosphäre mag, ist hier richtig. Das Essen war lecker und schnell zubereitet, aber nur 4 sterne, weil die Flautas innen trocken waren, und statt 6 Flautas, wie in der Karte beschrieben, tatsächlich nur 3 ganze Flautas sind, die aber halbiert zum Tisch ankommen. Der Reis hat einen besonderen leckeren Geschmack! Sonst war alles un Ordnung, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Preise finde ich auch top.

Immer und immer wieder einer unserer Anlaufpunkte nach einer Shopping Spree in Köln. Wir sind gerne dort! Personal immer noch aufmerksam! Spinatsalat mit Steakstreifen Lecker, frisch, viel Fleisch und das medium und zart. Der Laden ist jetzt moderner und viel heller, es entsteht Moderne und altes weicht. Wie man das findet ist individuell. Es war sehr gut und wir kommen wieder!!

👍 Spontan am 10.06. am frühen Abend mit vier Personen eingekehrt. Auf der Terrasse bei herrlichstem Sommerwetter platzgenommen. Das Lokal war die gesamte Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes (ca. 2 h) sehr gut besucht. Dennoch immer sehr schnelle und aufmerksame sowie immer sehr freundlich, herzliche Bedienung. Als uns die Sonne zu sehr "zusetzte" war auch der Tischwechsel in den Schatten möglich. Die Speisen- und Getränkekarte muss über einen QR-Code auf's Handy geladen werden, was problemlos klappte. Das Essen war sehr lecker 😋. Der pompösen Salatbeilage beim Gericht "Pavorito" hätte etwas mehr Dressing gut getan. Das " Chili" mit angenehmer Schärfe, Gericht "Bombay" - perfekt. 💚lichen Dank für einen gelungenen kulinarischen Abschluss unseres Kurzurlaubes in Köln. Dem Team SI CLARO weiterhin alles Gute und immer zufriedene Gäste. 😃

Drei mehr als freundliche Servicekräfte brachten und 12 zeitgleich das Essen. Die Wünsche wurden immer rasch erfüllt. Zum Essen kann ich nur sagen: Lecker-Frisch-Ansprechend angerichtet!

Leckeres Essen und schneller Service

Ganz ehrlich, ich bin neu in Köln und wollte einfach mal mich umschauen und bin auf den laden gestoßen. Der Laden sieht super toll aus, das Design ist sehr entspannend und die Musik (auch wenn es mexikanische Musik ist), ist es ebenfalls entspannend. Das Essen ist absolut genial und über das Personal kann man sich nicht beschweren. Ebenfalls ein großer Pluspunkt, ist der Blick in die Küche im Untergeschoss. Im großen und ganzen, ist es ein Laden, den man ein zweiten Mal besuchen kann oder auch mehrmals.

Wird alles auf Bestellung zubereitet aber 40 Minuten Wartezeit ist viel. Ein Cheeseburger mit etwas pommes 13,20€ ist nicht für jedermann. Bedingung war nett und freundlich.
