It was a very strange experience…
We get a table and it takes a while before we get the menu card. When we finally get hold of the waiter, we were able to order.
We order a starter and 2 main courses.
The man on the right is unhappy that he didn't get a main course, after 10 minutes he got a starter again, not a main course, he sends it back and waits further for his main course.
After a good while we get the food, but no bread, those next to us (the other side) who had ordered the same before us, got nothing until 15 minutes later.
After we had the appetizer, they brought the drinks that they had already served to us. When we have eaten the starter they clear the table and 15 minutes later they bring a starter again, the one we had once.
Afterwards we get the main course... I have never experienced such a strange experience at a restaurant..
It's probably not a good idea to have 3 "servants" at the same table...
The food, well... Appetizers tasted really nice, the main course was okay, but very al dente tagliatelle
In addition to that, there was a lot of noise, especially from the kitchen.
The food is good.
The waiter should work in a fast food restaurant, because no one goes to dinner in a restaurant and wants to be pressured to eat and leave.
The card machine hanging from the waiter's waist keeps bumping into you all the time.
And the smell of a septic tank that wafted from the entrance to the restaurant. I only ate there because it didn't smell in the dining room, it was raining outside, without an umbrella, in a city and country where I don't live.
A first-class culinary experience –
It was a delight from start to finish! We were warmly welcomed upon entering the restaurant, and the stylish, cozy atmosphere immediately invited us to linger.
The service was outstanding – attentive, friendly, and highly knowledgeable about the food and wine. The staff's recommendations perfectly matched our preferences.
The food was fantastic! The dishes were not only a visual highlight, but also a true taste experience.
The prices are absolutely justified for the quality offered here. We will definitely be back and can recommend it to anyone who wants to spend an enjoyable evening in a pleasant atmosphere.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 5 out of 5 stars!
The food was great. Only the pizza base was a touch too thin for us. But the pizzas tasted great. Highly recommended are the tagliatelle carbonara, the fried zucchini flowers and the bruschetta. And the homemade tiramisu and panacotta were also great.
The service was also top.
We'd love to come back!
He visitado aquí 3 veces ahora.
I really can't recommend this restaurant, the chicken breast was too dry and the side dishes were not good, the penne al forma was heated up in the microwave and it was just mush and the pizza was too black and on top of that the prices were high.
The waiting time for 4 pizzas was underground. Even if we had a starter, a wait of more than 50 minutes after the starter was far too long.
Your food is coming now was the message and we waited again for more than 15 minutes.
If you're looking for warm hospitality, good food and respectful treatment, you shouldn't go too close to this establishment - it's best to do exactly what the owner personally advises you to do: keep walking.
My encounter with the owner was anything but culinary - but rather unappetizing. Before I could even see the menu, I was approached on the street in a tone more reminiscent of a bad reality show than a place trying to welcome customers.
After he simply shouted “no” at me as I walked past without even looking at me when I asked if there was still a table available, the owner of the shop aggressively followed me out onto the street when I pointed out to him that that’s not the way to talk to customers.
His last sentence was: "At your age you don't know stress anyway. Just keep running and don't come back."
If I could, I would give 0 stars.
A real Italian restaurant "on the corner" on the edge of Düsseldorf's old town. The menu is authentic, the dishes are delicious and the service is friendly and attentive. - Clear recommendation!
