We always enjoy coming back to Isoletta because it has a wonderful atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff makes all the difference.

A place with a beautiful atmosphere, just a 2-minute walk from the old town of Römerberg, where you can enjoy delicious Italian cuisine. The owner, Alihan, is friendly and hospitable.

First of all: if you're looking for an inexpensive Italian restaurant that offers a lot of food for little money, this is the wrong place. But now for the "review": Isoletta is the best Italian restaurant I know (I can think of another very good one in Rome). The ambiance is very well-kept and stylish, and the terrace at the crossroads conveys that "Italian feeling." The service is fantastic; here, the guest truly is "king." Attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. Guests' peculiarities are accepted as a matter of course. Be it the dog sitting on the chair next to its owner, noisy children, or the elderly lady who only eats certain things that aren't even on the menu, everything is examined with goodwill and accommodated wherever possible (where else can you find that?). The chef himself oversees everything with great attention and occasionally comes over to chat at the table. There are many regulars. The food is excellent, the portions are not too small and not too large, and everything is very tasty and beautifully presented. That's what an Italian restaurant should be. This is the reference for others. Highly recommended!

An authentic italian food located in the heart of Frankfurt old town, they have an indoor and outdoor. They have tasty pizza with crusty thin dough and very good Spaghetti a la carbonara. Their desserts are also tasty. Portions are fair and prices are affordable.

The food was good. The same can't be said for the service. The young lady working there was efficient, but clearly didn't enjoy her job. Every question seemed too much for her. My dessert was out of stock, so I was quickly given a frozen substitute that was barely edible. A shame. The atmosphere was OK, but so dark that you could barely read the menu. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

Unfortunately, it's disappointing – massive noise pollution well into the night. The business regularly disrupts the peace and quiet with loud guests and staff outside until late into the night. Neighborhood complaints are ignored, and there's a complete lack of consideration. It's very stressful for residents.

We visited the Risotrante Isoletta in the evening and reserved a table for four. I highly recommend booking in advance because the restaurant gets very busy. We were warmly welcomed by Ciro and were shown a lovely table. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food exceeded our expectations. As a resident of Feldbergstrasse, it's shocking to see how the restaurant owner ignores the law. Quiet hours are regularly violated. It's extremely loud, and even polite requests to lower the volume are ignored. Terrible.

My friends and I went to Isoletta to celebrate a birthday, and we're all very happy to have eaten there. The food was truly amazing. For starters, I had tuna tartare with beluga lentils, and for main course, pasta with meat and beans. I would recommend both! Regarding the service: Everything was excellent! The waiters were very attentive, and when it came to singing the birthday song, they really gave it their all. We had a lovely seat in the main hall and were able to enjoy our evening there. We've already decided to celebrate our next birthdays here and are very much looking forward to our next visit to Isoletta. :)

The outdoor seating is very, very nice! Inside, it looks really shabby, with broken upholstery and coat racks hung with the owners'/employees' obviously personal belongings. The service was absolutely terrible. I've rarely experienced such unfriendly service. The food was really good, but we prefer Isoletta Promis, where the welcome and service are even more friendly.

A nice atmosphere, but the ravioli contained a different type of pasta, and the pistachio sauce also contained pistachio shells.

The cuisine is a separate pleasure: every dish is a delight, but I especially want to note the lasagne - simply delicious, tender, with a rich taste. Es gibt nicht viele Italiener, die über so viele Jahrzehnte eine verlässliche Qualität des Essens bieten wie die Isoletta. Dazu kommt der Vorteil, dass die Isolde auch am Montag geöffnet ist. Ob Fleisch oder Fisch oder Pasta, die Speisen sind solide bis gut zubereitet und die Mengen und Preise in Ordnung. Das Brot kommt unaufgefordert und am Abend noch mal ein Bruscetta. Der Service, der traditionell sehr gut ist, ließ beim letzten Besuch eher zu wünschen übrig, musste sich bitten lassen und nahm Bestellungen falsch auf. Das war hoffentlich ein Ausreißer.

Ich habe selten so eine unverschämte und abweisende Behandlung erlebt. Auf meine höfliche Nachfrage nach einer Empfehlung wurde ich sofort patzig unterbrochen: „Gucken Sie auf die Karte, da steht alles.“ Kein Versuch, freundlich zu sein oder zu helfen – nur pure Arroganz. Als wäre das nicht schon genug, kam dann ein Kommentar in einem sehr unangenehmen Ton: „Wir sind hier nicht irgendwo anders…“ – verbunden mit einem herablassenden Blick. Es war ganz klar ein Seitenhieb auf meine Herkunft oder Sprache, und das war eindeutig rassistisch gemeint, auch wenn es indirekt formuliert war. Am Ende hieß es sogar: „Von mir aus können Sie gleich wieder gehen. Müssen hier nichts bestellen.“ – Ich war fassungslos. So geht man nicht mit Menschen um. Punkt.

My partner and I went to Isoletta for his birthday lunch and he ordered one of the deals of the day with soup, main and dessert. The soup wasn't nice at all, the bread was microwaved, the main tasteless with overcooked vegetables and the desert was just not nice. What a shame! The black spaghetti I ordered saved the meal. The waiters seemed to just forget about us and we had to constantly waive for their attention in an empty restaurant. After 20min of waiting for the bill, we had to go pay at the till and just felt ripped off.

The food is fresh and tasty. Prices are high. On Saturday evening all tables are inside the restaurant. There are free places outside. The contingent is mostly not young.

Isoletta at Feldbergstrasse 31 is and remains my favorite restaurant in Frankfurt's Westend. Business lunch is actually too cheap. Otherwise there is fresh Italian cuisine that you can only get in southern Italy.

Coming back to Isoletta after not visiting for many years (due to moving away from FRA), it is still a solid, slightly upscale, Italian restaurant. Professional and friendly service. Overall, good food, although mixed salad was a little boring with too large cuts and eggplant parmigiana could have used more seasoning. Tagliata di manzo was on point and very good. Side-veggies too. Wine was solid. Espresso substandard for an Italian restaurant. Prices ok.

For me, the Original Isoletta is much more than just a restaurant - it is a piece of Italy in the middle of Frankfurt's Westend. A special highlight was my last birthday: thanks to the great and personal relationship with Chef Ciro, I was able to borrow an entire parmesan wheel for this special evening. Even though I wasn't able to celebrate this moment in the restaurant but at home with family and friends, I enjoyed an unforgettable Italian evening. Ciro, the entire team - from the long-standing waiters to the kitchen staff - as well as the loyal regular guests who have become true friends here make the Isoletta a unique place. It's always nice to enjoy an evening or a meal at Ristorante Isoletta. You immediately feel as if you were in Italy. Host Ciro, but also the other employees, recommend the right food for you. Whether alone or with family, you feel right here. And the highlight: every Thursday there is live music with guitar.

Mediocre food, pastas are sufficient, pinsa mediocre and antipasti in very small portions. Do not order an antipasti plate to share (not on the menu). You are being ripped off and can pay €115 per plate with a very small amount of antipasti.

The main waiter is really giving the place its special vibe. He is enjoying his work and he brings his joy to the customers. It's a pleasure to eat here! The food was great.

Quaint restaurant, great service, nice atmosphere and very good food. We had the crayfish salad, salmon tartare and the ravioli with pistachio sauce (top!!!!) for lunch and were very satisfied. The service was attentive but unobtrusive.

It's definitely the best lasagna I've ever tried in Frankfurt so far. Everybody was very friendly and the food arrived on time and it was delicious. We will be back soon!

The fish was too dry, the side dishes were cold, the pumpkin gnocchi (main course) was bland and tasteless... overall it was too expensive.

Sin duda ir allí si estás en Frankfurt. También sirvieron la mejor agua con gas que he probado... Acqua Morelli, ojalá pudiera traerla aquí en los Estados Unidos. Nuestra camarera era genial y muy amable. Prueba este restaurante y no te decepcionará.

We were last Sunday in this place where we should have eaten Italian (good tasting food), the buffalo mozzarella is not Italian (16 euros), the meat is foreign and not Italian (35 euros), and for what we honestly paid it had to be Italian, not to mention the water 8.50 a 750 ml bottle a real steal, the 60s style environment should be modernized, music too loud while eating perhaps at the end of the meal... the waiter very good at selling like a good Italian😜! I have been to this restaurant for a business dinner. As an Italian I can say that you eat really well: excellent dishes, very good raw materials, excellent selection of wines, homemade desserts. Very kind and "hand" staff, typical of us Italians. The environment in itself is very simple, sometimes a little chaotic for the reduced space available, especially if there are tables. Right/abundant portions depending on the dish. Advised!!

There is in-house singing on Thursday, but on the other days you are also welcome as a guest and can enjoy the excellent cuisine.

I was alone after the book fair and really enjoyed the evening and the food! The fish was perfect, the salad and vegetables were prepared fresh and flavorful, and the kitchen's free starters (bruschetta and foccaccia) were irresistible! Absolutely recommended and worth the half-hour walk from the Römer! Attention: there is Isoletta in the city center, I have no idea whether they are part of it, my restaurant was at Feldbergstrasse 40!

Fui a celebrar mi cumpleaños con un grupo de siete amigos, y me sorprendió gratamente la encantadora decoración que prepararon en nuestra mesa. El servicio fue excepcional — atento y amable, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Cada plato fue elaborado por expertos, con ingredientes frescos y una explosión de deliciosos sabores. Desde los aperitivos hasta los platos principales, todo fue simplemente perfecto. El ambiente del restaurante, combinado con la calidez y profesionalidad del personal, creó una experiencia inolvidable. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante, y ahora se ha convertido en mi nuevo lugar favorito.

The Italian restaurant we visited unfortunately did not meet our expectations. While the portions were large and the staff very friendly, the taste of the dishes (except for the dessert) left much to be desired. Despite having made a reservation, we were given a choice between a table next to the restroom door or near the waiters' workstation, where they frequently opened drawers right above our heads. We had to wait over 30 minutes for the bill, even after reminding the staff twice. On the plus side, the restaurant accepts card payments, which is convenient. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.

I thought the starter was delicious. Unfortunately the main course was overcooked. I had the Spaghetti Neri and there seemed to be no shrimps on the plate, plus the dead pasta with a lot of shallots. Disappointing because the price/performance ratio was not appropriate. Service and ambience were good. Nevertheless, once was enough.
