Delicious food, good service, but very cramped and loud!

Quaint restaurant, great service, nice atmosphere and very good food. We had the crayfish salad, salmon tartare and the ravioli with pistachio sauce (top!!!!) for lunch and were very satisfied. The service was attentive but unobtrusive.

It's definitely the best lasagna I've ever tried in Frankfurt so far. Everybody was very friendly and the food arrived on time and it was delicious. We will be back soon!

Unfortunately the food today was mediocre overall. The starters, the bread and the bruschetta were very tasty, but then the main courses were a bit of a disappointment. The fish was too dry, the side dishes were cold, the pumpkin gnocchi (main course) was bland and tasteless... overall it was too expensive.

Enzo is a great host. The food is good. And in the summer it's nice to sit outside - even if the conversations can be sad.

We were last Sunday in this place where we should have eaten Italian (good tasting food), the buffalo mozzarella is not Italian (16 euros), the meat is foreign and not Italian (35 euros), and for what we honestly paid it had to be Italian, not to mention the water 8.50 a 750 ml bottle a real steal, the 60s style environment should be modernized, music too loud while eating perhaps at the end of the meal... the waiter very good at selling like a good Italian😜! In short, this place gave me the impression of a German who wants to dazzle Italians abroad!!

I have been to this restaurant for a business dinner. As an Italian I can say that you eat really well: excellent dishes, very good raw materials, excellent selection of wines, homemade desserts. Very kind and "hand" staff, typical of us Italians. The environment in itself is very simple, sometimes a little chaotic for the reduced space available, especially if there are tables. Right/abundant portions depending on the dish. Advised!!

There is in-house singing on Thursday, but on the other days you are also welcome as a guest and can enjoy the excellent cuisine.

Small Italian restaurant away from the central city center in a good residential area. An Italian island in the middle of Frankfurt. The cuisine impresses with freshness, quality, authenticity and is simply delicious! The service is very friendly, Italian and even Spanish are spoken. I was alone after the book fair and really enjoyed the evening and the food! The fish was perfect, the salad and vegetables were prepared fresh and flavorful, and the kitchen's free starters (bruschetta and foccaccia) were irresistible! Absolutely recommended and worth the half-hour walk from the Römer! Attention: there is Isoletta in the city center, I have no idea whether they are part of it, my restaurant was at Feldbergstrasse 40!

Tuve el placer de cenar en este hermoso y acogedor restaurante italiano, y fue realmente una noche para recordar. Fui a celebrar mi cumpleaños con un grupo de siete amigos, y me sorprendió gratamente la encantadora decoración que prepararon en nuestra mesa. El servicio fue excepcional — atento y amable, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Cada plato fue elaborado por expertos, con ingredientes frescos y una explosión de deliciosos sabores. Desde los aperitivos hasta los platos principales, todo fue simplemente perfecto. El ambiente del restaurante, combinado con la calidez y profesionalidad del personal, creó una experiencia inolvidable. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante, y ahora se ha convertido en mi nuevo lugar favorito.

I had lunch at Isoletta with two friends. The food was extremely tasty, very attractively prepared, a large selection of dishes, especially for vegetarians. Drinks are also great, as is the price-performance ratio. Our waiter was also super nice, attentive and funny. The Isoletta is very comfortably furnished. We'll definitely be back ☺️

The Italian restaurant we visited unfortunately did not meet our expectations. While the portions were large and the staff very friendly, the taste of the dishes (except for the dessert) left much to be desired. Despite having made a reservation, we were given a choice between a table next to the restroom door or near the waiters' workstation, where they frequently opened drawers right above our heads. We had to wait over 30 minutes for the bill, even after reminding the staff twice. On the plus side, the restaurant accepts card payments, which is convenient. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.

I thought the starter was delicious. Unfortunately the main course was overcooked. I had the Spaghetti Neri and there seemed to be no shrimps on the plate, plus the dead pasta with a lot of shallots. Disappointing because the price/performance ratio was not appropriate. Service and ambience were good. Nevertheless, once was enough.

Excellent experience! The food is very good, the neighborhood is very nice, I definitely recommend sitting outside (if the weather is good), the place is very cozy. The food came just as we ordered and all the dishes were very delicious. At the moment they did not have a gluten-free pasta option but however there were other gluten-free food options. The waiter and all the staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. The waiter spoke Spanish, Italian, English, German... He was always very attentive and helpful. If you are in the area and want to eat Italian, this is your place 🤌🏼.

The Ristorante Isoletta in Westend is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Frankfurt am Main! The food is top quality, regardless of whether you order meat, fish or vegetarian dishes. And also important for the Italian atmosphere: the service is attentive, friendly and funny!

The ravioli alla pistacchi was one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend. They have gluten free pasta (penne pasta). Super nice waiters, love the atmosphere.

The place has become a big disappointment. Service is disrespectful and rude. The worst is that they are cutting costs in an unacceptable way as they are not cheap. Best example: instead of scampi as advertised they serve tiny German crabs (Krabben? with a fishy taste.

First of all: I have been a regular guest at Isoletta for years, especially at lunchtime the lunch offer was really fairly priced and generally tasted solid. The service has always been sometimes more and sometimes less friendly, but until this Saturday it was always at an acceptable level. However, the waiter on Saturday lunchtime capped the whole thing and will mean that we will no longer visit Isoletta. Although we were initially the only guests on the terrace, none of the 4-5 wait staff who were happily smoking in front of the restaurant felt compelled to serve us. After several minutes, the waiter we spoke to came to us and presented us with the cards without saying a friendly word. This behavior continued subsequently. Interestingly, the Japanese tourists who ordered a number of appetizers as well as a fish and a bottle of wine at the next table were entertained with pseudo-funny Italian behavior. Based on this unprofessional service, we felt it was appropriate not to tip. The waiter clearly disliked this so much that he left the table without a word after paying. As we were leaving the restaurant, we heard him complaining loudly about us in Italian, as we had clearly chosen our method of payment, American Express. This absolute disgrace, in combination with unfortunately declining quality (solid pasta that is no longer worth the increased prices) will mean that we won't be coming back. If you read the comments here from the last few months, it seems that quite a few other Westend residents feel the same way.

The prices are significantly higher, the atmosphere tends to be stiff, even if the staff is good at exuding Sicilian charm. The pasta dishes were unusual, but mine were sticky and my colleague's was missing salt. A pity.

The service staff was reserved and didn't say a word to us unless it was absolutely necessary. We felt unwanted. One of the main courses didn't come as ordered. This was the second time that we had to deal with the unfriendly staff like this. We won't visit Isoletta again, even though we come from the neighborhood.

We had reserved with 10 people and 2 small children. Very nice staff and very fast and good cuisine. Everything worked out great. Great atmosphere near the palm garden. We'd love to come back.

Das Isoletta war „mein erster Italiener“ in Frankfurt, schon vor 20 Jahren. Kürzlich war ich wieder mal da - mit einer Gruppe geschäftlich - und wir wurden trotz relativ später Stunde abends perfekt bewirtet, wunderbar bekocht, es wurde auf Wünsche eingegangen und wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend. Ich komme immer gerne wieder!

Im Mittelalter waren es Ritter, die geraubt und gemordet haben, heute ist es Isoletta, die einem das Geld für unverschämt schlechtes Essen aus der Tasche ziehen - Ergo: Kein weiterer Besuch! Alter Glanz ist verblichen, Samstag 13:00 und das Lokal war LEER! Sagt alles

The older waiter was very unfriendly to us, while we were placing our order we forgot to mention the appetizer first. When we wanted to quickly order the appetizer, we were only told with a disparaging eye roll and a rude manner that we should order the appetizer first. After the action we felt more than uncomfortable. So the conclusion is that it was relatively tasty but still too expensive and the service was very disappointing. CUSTOMER IS KING no matter whether young or old.

I had dinner with my family on Saturday and can only recommend the restaurant. The winter garden is very nicely heated and the waitress was very nice and implemented all of our wishes very well!! We will be back!!!

Tolles Restaurant mit viel Ambiente!

Wollten was kleines am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag essen, erst wurden wir unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, das wir nicht an der Tür stehen bleiben sollten, weil diese ständig auf und zu gehen würde (kann man auch freundlicher mitteilen) Dann ist uns natürlich das Essen vergangen! Auf die Frage, ob man die Toilette benutzen darf für 1 Euro wurde gesagt, es ist geschlossen! Dabei saßen 3 vom Servicepersonal am Tisch und checkten ihre Handys! Soviel zu Gastfreundlichkeit, aber haben es wahrscheinlich nicht nötig dort am Römer! Gibt ja wahrscheinlich genug Touristen, die unfreundlich bedient werden wollen! Und wie sie in ihrer Antwort behaupten, das sie erst um 11:00 Uhr öffnen, mag sein, aber wir waren nach 11 Uhr da, aber wenn man nicht mal, obwohl ich extra 1€ bezahlen wollte, auf Toilette gehen darf, dann ist das schon sehr merkwürdig! Türen geöffnet, aber ich war zu früh? Sehr kurios, denn die Mitarbeiter saßen zu dritt am Personaltisch und spielten mit ihren Handys! Eine Rewe Kaufhalle öffnet auch nicht ihre tren vor den Öffnungszeiten, tut mir leid, wenn sie keine berechtigte Kritik ihres unhöflichen Personals vertragen!,, Aber damit muss man als Gastgeber auch umgehen können, und sich nicht angegriffen fühlen! Gute Umsätze wünsche ich ihnen! 😜

Rostorante Isoletta ist ein sehr guter Italiener der gehobenen Preisklasse, ohne dabei „überkandidelt“ zu sein. Ich empfehle die Pasta mit Trüffeln, das Filetsteak und die Saltimbocca alla Romana. Auch die Vorspeisenklassiker wie Vitello Tonnato oder Caprese waren ausgezeichnet. Wer einen richtig guten Italiener mit schönem Ambiente sucht, um einen schönen Abend zu verbringen, der wird hier fündig. Ich empfehle für das Abendessen einen Tisch zu reservieren. 😉

Super Italiener! Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Von der Vorspeise mit gegrillten Gemüse und Meeresfrüchten, über die Hauptspeise mit Nudeln mit Rinderfilespitzen in einer scharfen Sosse bis zum Nachtischklassiker dem Tiramisu ein Erlebnis für den Gaumen! Alles war super lecker und die Portionen waren ebenfalls top. Auch die Nachspeise mit dem selbstgemachten Vanilleeis und dem Schokotörtchen ist ein Gaumenschmaus der extra Klasse!! Ein sehr guter Italiener im Westend. Einbisschen traditionell im Ambiente und in der Tmosphäre, aber was auf den Teller kommt, ist erstklassig - und der Service wirklich toll.

Ein echter Italiener im Herzen Frankfurts. Pizza ist sehr sehr klein und dafür doch relativ teuer! Nudeln sind okay aber jetzt auch kein absoluter Hit. Der Service ist sehr gut. Leider ist das Restaurant sehr sehr laut, was es doch erschwert sich mal zu unterhalten. Alles in allem ein guter Italiener:)
