Waw! Really good Italian cuisine! Loved everything they offered! And the limoncello at the end seemed to be handmade, NOT the super-sweet one that you can buy in supermarkets! Also, the portions are so big! If you are really hungry surely it will be enough.

I have been eating here once a month in the evening as part of a regulars' table group for many years The food is always great. I don't know of any Italian who even comes close to this restaurant in all respects. Anyone who complains is out of touch with the world for me.

For me, Il Doge is one of the best Italian restaurants in Frankfurt. The food tastes great, portions are so big that you can hardly manage to eat. The service is exceptionally good. You are always welcomed and served in a friendly manner. We're always happy to come back!

Very nice service and very good food

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately the service wasn't that good, we had to wait a relatively long time until a waitress came to take our order. They didn't ask if we wanted to order something to drink and when we wanted to pay we had to wait quite a while. At the end we found out that there was actually bread and aioli in advance, but unfortunately not at our table. The food came relatively quickly but was very clear for me, the daily vegetables offered consisted of 3 slices of carrots, 1 broccoli floret and a vegetable that I don't know. There was plenty of meat, the fried potatoes were again very clear, more vegetables and one less slice of meat would be better. The salad, pizza and pasta were again acceptable in terms of portions. Since it was quite full, it was also quite loud, there were 8 of us and we all had problems talking. In a smaller group and if you arrive by taxi, it would be worth considering visiting the restaurant again.

Bread already bent dry, looks like it was collected from the table. There's hardly any sauce in the salad several times now. Ordered pizza with extra salami, unfortunately it was only on the bill. Definitely gotten worse unfortunately. P.s. By the way, food was to take away, not on site. Annoying and just a shame, it used to be better.

The service was ok, but there is still room for improvement. Yes, it's really busy but the service shouldn't suffer. They chose the profession all on their own. The ambience isn't really nice, but as long as it's clean and the food tastes good, that's not that important to me. The food was really good and tasty, we will definitely eat again but then probably just pick it up or have it delivered. So, now we actually ordered something to pick up, we'll never do that again. We ordered the Combinazione with 3 different types of pasta. But there was only tortellini in it, I was really pissed and my food ended up in the trash can. But we didn't feel like going there again. Thank God there are enough Italians who are good.

The two of us came here for a birthday dinner. The service staff was super nice and accommodating. You were served in a very pleasant manner. Both the starter (Caprese) and the meal (Vienna-style chicken schnitzel and grilled salmon) both came relatively quickly and both tasted really good. The fries and the schnitzel were crispy and delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant evening as a couple or with more people.

Unfortunately, the food was better 🤷‍♂️ for whatever reason. There were five of us eating there, and every meal, whether pizza, pasta or steak, wasn't what you're used to. The service is always very nice, polite and accommodating.

I often go to the restaurant for lunch. Even after the price increase at the beginning of the year, the price-performance ratio is very good thanks to the best ingredients! Homemade, juicy bread with homemade ajoli is always available in advance. There are two main courses and a coffee or a small, delicious dessert for dessert. A look at the tables next to us always showed something appetizing. The pictures are all from the lunch table and speak for themselves..

The insider tip in Frankfurt am Main! Very good Italian, authentic and home-style cuisine! Quality of the food is very good! Prices are very low, in downtown you pay twice as much or even more. Atmosphere is simply fantastic, as the restaurant has a lot of space and you don't feel claustrophobic or cramped! Minestrone and veal liver a la Veneziana was really good.

Had lunch today with friends, I've been living in Germany for 50 years and I'm Italian myself. It's so authentic and I'm so impressed with the quality. I can only recommend it. The portions are generous. I'm thrilled. I come here often even though I live in Wiesbaden. AUGURI

So so surprised to find Italian food of this quality in Germany, in a restaurant outside of the city centre. A very good menu with high quality ingredients. We visited this restaurant 2 nights running as the food was so good on the first night, we ate seafood, pasta, pizza and steaks, all were excellent. The Italian waiters really cared about providing great service.
