Great restaurant. The quality and taste are exceptionally good. Whether pizza, meat or fish. It's all ok We travel over 30km to visit. Parking can be a problem. The price is in the reasonable range if you forego starters. That is certainly the secret of success. Cheap and very good. The visit numbers speak for themselves. Already recommended several times and received good feedback.

Get a table at short notice without a reservation. Service and food very good.

Very nice service and very good food

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately the service wasn't that good, we had to wait a relatively long time until a waitress came to take our order. They didn't ask if we wanted to order something to drink and when we wanted to pay we had to wait quite a while. At the end we found out that there was actually bread and aioli in advance, but unfortunately not at our table. The food came relatively quickly but was very clear for me, the daily vegetables offered consisted of 3 slices of carrots, 1 broccoli floret and a vegetable that I don't know. There was plenty of meat, the fried potatoes were again very clear, more vegetables and one less slice of meat would be better. The salad, pizza and pasta were again acceptable in terms of portions. Since it was quite full, it was also quite loud, there were 8 of us and we all had problems talking. In a smaller group and if you arrive by taxi, it would be worth considering visiting the restaurant again.

Bread already bent dry, looks like it was collected from the table. There's hardly any sauce in the salad several times now. Ordered pizza with extra salami, unfortunately it was only on the bill. Definitely gotten worse unfortunately. P.s. By the way, food was to take away, not on site. Annoying and just a shame, it used to be better.

The service was ok, but there is still room for improvement. Yes, it's really busy but the service shouldn't suffer. They chose the profession all on their own. The ambience isn't really nice, but as long as it's clean and the food tastes good, that's not that important to me. The food was really good and tasty, we will definitely eat again but then probably just pick it up or have it delivered. So, now we actually ordered something to pick up, we'll never do that again. We ordered the Combinazione with 3 different types of pasta. But there was only tortellini in it, I was really pissed and my food ended up in the trash can. But we didn't feel like going there again. Thank God there are enough Italians who are good.

We have known the restaurant for many years. To put it briefly - it has been one of our favorite restaurants ever since. In our opinion, everything is just good there. We enjoy going there and hopefully we will be able to do so for a long time.

The two of us came here for a birthday dinner. The service staff was super nice and accommodating. You were served in a very pleasant manner. Both the starter (Caprese) and the meal (Vienna-style chicken schnitzel and grilled salmon) both came relatively quickly and both tasted really good. The fries and the schnitzel were crispy and delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant evening as a couple or with more people.

Unfortunately, the food was better 🤷‍♂️ for whatever reason. There were five of us eating there, and every meal, whether pizza, pasta or steak, wasn't what you're used to. The service is always very nice, polite and accommodating.

I often go to the restaurant for lunch. Even after the price increase at the beginning of the year, the price-performance ratio is very good thanks to the best ingredients! Homemade, juicy bread with homemade ajoli is always available in advance. There are two main courses and a coffee or a small, delicious dessert for dessert. A look at the tables next to us always showed something appetizing. The pictures are all from the lunch table and speak for themselves..

The insider tip in Frankfurt am Main! Very good Italian, authentic and home-style cuisine! Quality of the food is very good! Prices are very low, in downtown you pay twice as much or even more. Atmosphere is simply fantastic, as the restaurant has a lot of space and you don't feel claustrophobic or cramped! Minestrone and veal liver a la Veneziana was really good.

So so surprised to find Italian food of this quality in Germany, in a restaurant outside of the city centre. A very good menu with high quality ingredients. We visited this restaurant 2 nights running as the food was so good on the first night, we ate seafood, pasta, pizza and steaks, all were excellent. The Italian waiters really cared about providing great service.

Top Essen. Essen kam schnell. Nachträgliche Bestellung waren schwierig zu bestellen, da die Bedingungen zu beschäftigt waren. Sehr Laut im Gastraum.

Also vorneweg, wieso gehe ich ins Restaurant? Um meinen Gaumen schmeicheln und um mich kulinarisch verwöhnen zu lassen! Und genau das ist bei Il Doge der Fall. Immer frische, hervorragende Zutaten, egal ob Meeresfrüchte, Fisch, Gemüse oder Fleisch. Bei jedem Besuch waren wir sehr zufrieden! Gehen immer wieder gerne hin. Ausnahmslos zu empfehlen.

Schöne, gemütliche Atmosphere mit nettem und aufmerksamen Personal und guter Küche. Das Restaurant ist gut besucht aber nicht laut. Schöner Abend.

Kann auch heute nur wiederholen, was ich vor einigen Jahren schon geschrieben habe. Der Mittagstisch (den wir hier nur aufsuchen) ist immer ausgezeichnet ! Wir hatten noch nie Grund zur Klage, denn das Essen hat uns bisher nur gut geschmeckt! Es gibt immer eine Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Nachtisch. Statt Nachtisch kann auch Espresso gewählt werden. Zuerst gibt es noch Brot (Baguette) mit einer leckeren Paste, die umwerfend gut schmeckt ! Das alles zu einem guten Preis, der seinesgleichen sucht. Sicher ist das auch mal vorgekommen, daß die Bedienung mal nicht so schnell die Bestellung aufnahm, doch das hatte dann wohl seinen Grund und da kann man darüber hinwegsehen denke ich, wenn das Essen so lecker ist. Zu erwähnen wäre noch, daß es auch öfters noch zum Abschluss einen Grappa oder Limoncello aufs Haus gibt !

sono stata in questi giorni al ristorante Doge a festeggiare un avvenimento....cibo ottimo...ma il servizio 0...seduti da 15 minuti nessuno veniva vicino nonostante chiamavamo i camerieri...alla fine si avvicina una cameriera una signora....gli chiedo un antipasto di pesce e lei con tantissima arroganza mi risponde puoi mangiare solo quello che è nel menu'...ok ci può stare...dopo aver mangiato l antipasto i piatti vuoti e sporchi lasciati li davanti senza sparecchiare e senxa chiederci cos altro mangiavamo...lo stesso per il secondo...abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di vino che è arrivata quando avevamo finito...comunque il cibo ottimo...ma la signora cameriera dovrebbe imparare prima di tutto a lavorare e poi l educazione...sinceramente vedere un cameriere che sbuffa è veramente brutto...ma la cosa più grave e che mentre ancora mangiavamo lei ha incominciato a spazzare a terra...vergognoso..Non ci tornerò xké sentirsi trattare così male...nonostante gli abbiamo lasciato 150 euro di conto..ancora vergogna queste persone vanno lasciate a casa a fare i beduini ..

Wir kommen oft zum Essen in dieses Lokal. Sind nahezu immer sehr zufrieden. Auch wenn manchmal der Service nicht so ganz top ist. Nur am letzten Sonntag waren wir über die Gäste fassungslos, wie sie ohne Maske sich ins Lokal und im Lokal bewegt haben. Eigentlich sollte der Besitzer diese Menschen aus dem Lokal weisen. Leider will er wohl das Geld schnell einnehmen, bevor ein neuer Lockdown kommt.

Katastrophe! Service null, Essen kalt. Wir haben über eine halbe Stunde an unserem reservierten Tisch gesessen, bis überhaupt jemand kam. Das Restaurant war nicht voll, aber irgendwie haben die derzeit so gar nichts im Griff, alles hektisch und unorganisiert, einfach nur enttäuschend und schade. Derzeit nicht zu empfehlen.

Ich war diese Woche Mittags mit meinem Mann in Il Doge. Sofort wurde uns aus der Ferne befohlen, dass wir einen bestimmten Tisch nehmen sollten, obwohl viele Tische frei waren. Leider hat es ausgerechnet an diesem Tisch ziemlich gezogen, da er sich direkt hinter der Eingangstüre befand. Daraufhin sind mein Mann und ich aufgestanden und haben uns an einem anderen Tisch gesetzt. Sofort wurde uns nochmals befohlen, wir sollten uns an einem anderen Tisch setzen. Als wir endlich an dem zugewiesenen Tisch saßen, gab uns die Bedienung die Speisekarte, wobei die Bedienung mega unfreundlich war und mir einen sehr bösen Blick zuwarf, weil er die Tischdecke wechseln musste. Das Essen war gut. Aber sowohl als man uns die Speisekarte gab, wir das Essen bestellten, bis hin zur Bezahlung, haben beide Kellner, ein Junger und ein Älterer, uns die ganze Zeit über, keines Blickes gewürdigt. Obwohl ich ein hohes Trinkgeld gegeben habe, wurden wir behandelt wie der letzte Dreck! Wir sind noch nie so schlecht behandelt worden wie bei II Doge. Ich bin insgesammt 4x dort gewesen und es wurde um jedes Mal schlimmer. Wir haben nicht mehr vor, dort einzukehren. Liest man die Beurteilungen der Vorgänger, haben so wie es aussieht diese ähnliches erlebt.

Das Essen ist gut, aber.... an einem Sonntag restlos überfüllt! Schlangen von mindestens 5 m vor dem Buffet (bis zu den Toiletten) Unglaublich! Da ist ein Betreiber darauf aus nur noch Geld zu machen. Für uns ab sofort gestrichen.

Ich kann nur sagen immer wieder Top vom Service bis zum Essen und den Preisen, alles Top. Insbesondere der Mittagstisch klasse.

Vor einem Konzert in der Batschkapp wollten wir mit Freunden Sonntagabend noch eine Kleinigkeit essen. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht, trotzdem haben wir sofort einen Platz bekommen. Hier wurden wir wegen dem Betrieb jedoch erst einmal ignoriert und erst auf unsere Bitte bekamen wir die Speisekarte. Dann ging es mit den Getränken und dem Essen sogar recht schnell. Die gewählte Pizza war wie auch andere schon geschrieben haben am Rand leider verbrannt. Der Pizzateig war lecker, wobei die Pizza zu dick mit Käse und gekochtem Käse belegt war und dadurch sehr schwer war, was manch einer so vielleicht auch mag, uns war es Zuviel.

Offensichtlich hat das Il Doge eine neue Bedienungsmannschaft. Sowohl bei der Bestellung, als auch beim Service sind Holprigkeiten festzustellen. Nachbestellen von Getränken war mühsam und die Zulieferung dauerte fast 45 Minuten. Den kritischen Blick und das genervte Stirnrunzeln bei der Mitteilung das drei Familien gerne getrennt zahlen möchten, könnte sich der Ober ruhig verkneifen. Das verärgert die Gäste. Das Essen war allerdings wie gewohnt hervorragend und frisch. Bis zum nächsten mal werden wir uns erst einmal anderweitig umsehen.

War mal ein absoluter Geheimtipp.Hat gerade im letzten Jahr stark nachgelassen.Pizza war angebrannt und Suppe lauwarm und kaum was drin.Kellner entschuldigte sich beim Bringen—-ohne das es angesprochen wurde!!!!!
