​"Frankfurt's Fine Dining" is a title that should never be used in connection with the Pino Restaurant! About three weeks ago, I had the pleasure of discovering Pino and had the experience of a lifetime! We were a group of 15 people who were forced to order a menu because we wouldn't be allowed to make a reservation otherwise... They told us that the kitchen wouldn't be able to keep up. We waited a full three hours for the food. But now, the story from the beginning: We arrived at 7:30 p.m. It was a friend's birthday party, and someone in the party gave her a bottle of champagne, which the waiter divided among 15 people. My glass had traces of blood on the rim, which made the whole thing quite appetizing, but that wasn't the highlight of the drinks. Their absence made the drinks the center of attention! I waited a full 40 minutes before we even received the drinks menu (and even then, only after a persistent request). Most of our group drank wine, so several bottles were ordered. The waiters demonstrated no knowledge of wine, proper service, or proper presentation! Wines arrived at the table open and were poured immediately. The cost per bottle was approximately €50. If you order a whole bottle, it's customary in restaurants for the wine to be brought to the table in its closed state, presented by the waiter, and opened at the table. After opening, a sip must be poured into the guest's glass so that the guest has the opportunity to check the wine. The wine may be corked or taste off. However, the waiter immediately filled all the glasses, so the bottle was almost empty. The menu consisted of mixed appetizers for everyone, as well as meat or fish for the main course. The appetizer arrived at 9 p.m., but I couldn't eat it due to a seafood allergy. When I mentioned this, I was served a bland mozzarella ball with four cherry tomatoes and tons of arugula as a substitute. ``` At 10:10 p.m., I was so hungry that I had the nerve to say to the head waitress, "Excuse me, it's already 10 a.m. and we still don't have any food." She looked at me condescendingly, nodded, and without saying a word, walked straight up to my friend and, in front of the group, asked her to please get up so she could talk to her. She took my friend aside and complained to her about my complaint! Excuse me, but I've never experienced anything like that in a restaurant in my life! I was speechless at this impertinence. At 10:30 p.m., the food arrived: four full plates of fish. Unfortunately, no one had ordered it. Personally, I wasn't even asked in advance whether I wanted fish or meat. But what really saddens me was the fact that our entire group was so intimidated by the waitress that they just ate it as if they should be grateful to be able to leave a ton of money in that place for bad service and food they didn't order!

This restaurant owner is using a law firm based in Greece to delete negative reviews. Don't let them intimidate you. — We were here for lunch yesterday. I ordered a tuna pizza, but they brought a Tartufo pizza instead. When I asked the waiter, he told me I must have said "Tartufo," even though I repeated the word "tuna" twice, and my partner understood it exactly the same way. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they continued to argue that I hadn't said "tuna." I then ordered a salad because I really didn't like the one slice of Tartufo pizza (it was like oily pizza bread). It was sent back practically untouched. The salad didn't arrive until after my partner had finished eating. In the end, both the salad and the incorrect Tartufo pizza were on the bill. However, I appreciated that they removed it without any fuss when I asked, and as compensation, they gave me two complimentary espressos. I'm giving it two stars for the location and the friendly waitress who took the bill at the end. The service was consistently slow, and the food was only okay for the price. I won't be back.

(Sometimes) bad food behind the facade of a fine-dining restaurant. The prices are high, and even the staff are clearly committed to offering an exclusive experience. However, the food doesn't really live up to that. The salad dressing, in particular, was unappealing to everyone at the table, and the pizzas don't even come close to justifying the prices. The pasta, on the other hand, was perfectly fine, but the rest could be improved. P.S. Don't let the good reviews put you off. Legal action will be taken against negative reviews, which will then be deleted.

We celebrated our wedding here in the middle of December after another location canceled two days before. Luckily, PINO was able to cleverly rearrange their reservations and reschedule the entire restaurant to give us a wonderful evening. The staff is super nice and the food is excellent! Every guest from our group of 20 only had positive things to say. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant for any special occasion. For us it's clearly one of the better restaurants in Frankfurt from every point of view! Even if the review is a bit late, thanks again for the great evening!

Das war die beste Pizza, die ich bisher gegessen habe in einem hochwertigen und stilvollen Ambiente. Begleitet von einem qualitätsbewussten, ambitionierten Team. Francesco hat uns hervorragend bedient. Danke an das ganze Team! Top Leistung! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Location in der Frankfurter Innenstadt, das Ambiente und die Räumlichkeiten sind Top. Was anderes kann man nicht sagen. Vom Essen war ich persönlich nicht begeistert. Ich hatte das Risotto und meine Begleitung die Pasta mit Trüffel und Pizza. Bei den beiden ersten Gerichten musste man nachwürzen. Die Pizza sah ganz ok aus und hat auch ok geschmeckt. Für after Work Drinks würde ich nochmal vorbeikommen aber nicht zum essen. Daher drei Sterne.

Very nice restaurant. Saturday nights are the most crowded. Tables are a little bit closed to each other. However, bar and restaurant areas are well separated. Pizza was unfortunately cold.

Ich war kürzlich im Pino und ich bin begeistert von meinem Erlebnis. Das Essen war unglaublich gut und lecker, mit frischen Zutaten und authentischen Geschmäckern. Die Pasta war perfekt zubereitet und hatte eine großartige Textur, während die Pizza knusprig und voller Geschmack war. Leider hatte ich ein kleines Problem mit dem Fisch, den ich bestellt habe. Es war zu ölig für meinen Geschmack, aber das hat nicht mein Gesamterlebnis beeinträchtigt. Aber was wirklich hervorstach, war der Service. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und sie haben alles getan, um sicherzustellen, dass mein Besuch angenehm war. Sie haben schnell auf meine Anfragen reagiert und dafür gesorgt, dass ich alles hatte, was ich brauchte. Ein kleiner Nachteil war, dass die Musik etwas zu laut war, was es manchmal etwas schwierig machte, sich mit meinem Begleiter zu unterhalten. Aber das ist ein kleines Detail, das leicht verbessert werden kann. Insgesamt war ich sehr beeindruckt von meinem Besuch im Pino und würde es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Die Kombination aus leckerem Essen und hervorragendem Service macht es zu einem großartigen Ort für eine Mahlzeit.

Helaas was dit restaurant een behoorlijke tegenvaller. Gestrest personeel en daardoor niet het idee dat we gasten waren. Het eten bestellen was lastig. Veel vragen of we eindelijk iets konden krijgen, etc. Misschien op het verkeerde moment op deze plek, maar wij slaan deze voorlopig over.

Obwohl wir sehr nass im Restaurant ankamen, hatten wir Glück und bekamen den letzten Tisch. Francesco und seine Kolleg/innen waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Die Empfehlung und das Essen waren sehr lecker, jederzeit wieder.

Ein typisches italienisches Lokal in der Innenstadt: teuer, Qualität OK, aber nichts Besonders, Service OK, aber nichts Besonders. Ich würde nicht noch einmal hingehen.

War vor vielen Jahren im Gariballdi dort sehr oft!! Es hat ja den Besitzer gewechselt heist jetzt Pino !!!War zu einer Geburtstagsfeier das erste Mal wieder da!!!Naja....Der Service nicht besonders!! Keine ordentliche Beratung !!Der Tisch war schön !!Auch das Ambiente!!Das Essen war gut durch keine gute Beratung viel mein Hauptgang sehr dürftig aus...!!Die Rechnung war schon ordentlich und noch fehlerhaft zu unseren Nachteil !!!Es gab aber ein Limoncello als Entschuldigung!!!Doch bei 20.00€ Trinkgeld kam nicht mal ein Dankeschön !!I DENKE DER FEIERABEND STAND IM FOKUS!!

Das Pino ist die Kantine des gepflegten Essens. Eng gestellte Tische, unaufmerksamer Service und für den Preis mittelmäßiges Essen. Es gibt bessere Läden in der Nachbarschaft. Update: Nachdem ich diese Rezension geschrieben habe, bekam ich eine Mail von Google, nach der sich das Pino einen Anwalt genommen hat und gegen die Rezension rechtlich vorgeht. Nun ist mir auch klar, wie die überwiegend positive Google-Bewertung dieses Restaurants zustande kommt. Die Nachweise meines Besuchs habe ich Google zukommen lassen.

Ausgezeichneter, freundlicher und pünktlicher Service Francesco lädt Sie ein, wieder nach Pino zu kommen. Ich mochte die Vorspeisen, Entricote, Beilagen. Alles ist sehr lecker und von hoher Qualität wird auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Beim nächsten Mal mache ich auf jeden Fall ein Foto. Vergessen Sie nicht, das Tiramisu zu probieren 🙂

Insgesamt ok, aber etwas zu viel Chili und grottenschlecht ausgebildetes Personal bei diesem Preisniveau. Dazu sprachen die meisten KellnerInnen nur Englisch.

Der ganze Besuch war eine einzige Freude! Fouad & Christina haben uns sehr gut bedient und beraten! Das Essen war ein Traum und die Weinempfehlung super! Kommen sehr gerne wieder!! Liebe Grüße Susi & Maria

Llegue a Pino con muchas expectativas por las referencias q nos daban en el hotel y algunos comensales, a simple vista el local impresiona, con una buena barra, mesas amplias con impecables manteles blancos, pero cuando uno se sienta empiezan los problemas, personal amable pero insuficiente, hacen lo que pueden, todo se alarga, si ves un camarero hay q abrazarlo y no soltarlo, una vez hechos los pedidos, empieza una espera que no es dulce, levantando la cabeza pero que alguien del restaurant se acuerdo de tu pedido. Resumiendo la pizza buena pero llega fría los demás platos de pastas no son ricos.No es comida italiana. Es un restaurante que funciona porque aquí en Frankfurt de comida italiana ni idea. Solo para tomar un trago y partir algún lugar para comer mas o menos bien.

Ein guter Freund hat dort seinen Geburtstag gefeiert und wir waren eine Gruppe von 12 Personen. Bereits bei der Reservierung vor einer Woche wurde er darum gebeten, dass wir vorab bereits mitteilen sollen, was wir essen möchten. Diese Auswahl hat er per Email wie besprochen dorthin geschickt und es wurde ihm auch schriftlich bestätigt. Als wir dann dort saßen wurden wir erst nach einer halben Stunde überhaupt erstmal nach Wasser gefragt. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten wurde ihm bzw. uns mitgeteilt, dass das mit dem Essen so nicht funktioniert und wenn wir darauf beharren, dass wir mit ungefähr einer Stunde Wartezeit rechnen müssen. Es gab eine Diskussion mit der Dame aus dem Service (vermutlich Restaurantleiterin oder was auch immer), da wir nicht verstehen konnten wieso - immerhin hatten wir doch schon viele Tage im Voraus unsere Auswahl mitgeteilt! Zudem war die Dame extrem unfreundlich und hat mit uns von oben herab gesprochen. Wir bestellten in der Zwischenzeit Vorspeisen, um so die Wartezeit ein wenig zu überbrücken. Den Tisch hatten wir für 20 Uhr reserviert, um viertel nach neun konnten wir dann auch endlich mal Getränke bestellen! Auch das hat ewig gedauert! Insgesamt wurden wir so gut wie nicht beachtet. Schlussendlich haben wir um 22:43 Uhr unser Hauptspeisen bekommen! 2,5 Stunden Wartezeit, wo gibt es sowas? Bei gerade mal 12 Personen, die bereits Tage vorher eine Auswahl getroffen haben? Das Essen war ok, aber überteuert. Die Meisten von uns hatten Pizza - Fazit: Es gibt eindeutig deutlich bessere Pizzen in Frankfurt! Das Einzige was dort anscheinend zählt und sehen und gesehen werden und wer nicht so aussieht als hätte er tausende von Euros in der Tasche, wird nicht beachtet! Dieses Restaurant können wir auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen!

The decoration looks beautiful but the food and the service are not. Waiters rude and stressed. I asked for a menu 5 times and eventually got up and found one myself. The base of the pizza was black and burnt and they gave us the wrong drinks. The service we received was not good at all

Ich muss sagen ich war im Juni oder Juli das erste Mal dort und das Essen war eine 10/10 Was ich von diesem Besuch leider nicht behaupten kann ich war sehr enttäuscht die Kellnerinnen sind auf meine Wünsche nicht eingegangen mein Pornstar war eine Katastrophe und das Essen war geschmacklich leider enttäuschend ich habe den Laden gepriesen nach meinem letzten Besuch aber gestern ich war so enttäuscht dass ich den Laden nicht mehr besuchen werde was für die Preise müssten Extrawünsche drin sein ohne Diskussion

Ich habe meinen Geburtstag mit 9 Mädels gefeiert und wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Vom Aperitif, den Vorspeisen den Hauptgang natürlich (die Pizza war der Hammer) und die Überraschung mit der Musik und dem Kuchen am Ende. Die Bedingungen war sehr freundlich und für kleine Späße zu haben, eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Ein sehr schöner Abend gewesen, kommen auch gerne wieder !!

Meiner Meinung nach ist das Pino hier unterbewertet und ich kann die teilweisen mittelmäßigen, oder schlechteren Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Das Restaurant selbst finde ich herausragend und sehr stylisch eingerichtet, der Service war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hatte uns mehrmals gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei und wir zufrieden sind. Wir hatten auf unseren speziellen Wunsch gemischte Antipasti für vier Personen bestellt und man hat uns verschiedene leckere Antipasti zusammengestellt. Als Haupspeise hatten wir verschiedene Pasta ala Vongole, Garnelen und Carbonara. Wir alle waren sehr zufrieden und ich kann das Pino sehr empfehlen!! Mir persönlich fehlt aberein offener Chardonnay auf der Karte.

Food is just okay. Service is bad. Avoid Ate here for dinner. Booked a table but they only would seat us at a poor table away from the main area. Even though there were almost all of the tables free they only would let us sit at one table they chose and would not let us have any other table. Food is mediocre so probably better to try sometwhere else. Cocktails are good so at least the barman knows what they are doing. Really from the restaurant management side they are poorly run. Pizza is just okay. Risotto was not risotto was some weird rice soup. Avoid. I would never come back.

Vorspeisen haben sehr gut geschmeckt, war aber von dem Hauptgang enttäuscht. Preis-Leistung stimmt meiner Meinung nach leider nicht.

We arrived for an early dinner prior to an event, and very few patrons were at the restaurant. Service was not at all attentive. Our starters were good the main course adequate. Waited for wine, no salad dressing on salad and waited for oil and vinegar after asking. Over all service and food lacking food n quality. In a City filled with excellent Italian restaurants this one was not one of them.

Pomo is a restaurant in city center. So location is great but even better was the food. Stylish place with real friendly people in the heart of Frankfurt. In our 5 day trip, we went there twice!!

Einzigartiges Ambiente! Wenn man einen besonderen und einzigartigen Abend haben möchte ist ein Besuch ein MUSS! Das gesamte Personal ist sehr höflich, sympathisch und kompetent. Wobei der einzelne Charme von Mitarbeitern sehr heraussticht, sodass der Abend niemals enden mag.. neben dem vorzüglichen Essen sollte man definitiv einen Blick auf die Cocktailkarte werfen 🤩😎
