Fantastic country inn serving both traditional Bavarian and innovative fusion cousine. Fingerlicking good! The proprietor and the serving staff are friendly, warm, and welcoming. The place is very busy, make a reservation if you don’t want to miss out.
Very rustic restaurant. In summer with a large beer garden. Fast and friendly service. The boss likes to go from table to table and greet regular guests. Delicious and rich food. One of the few taverns where you can still get must
It was my first time there and I can only recommend it. The best schnitzel I've ever eaten in my life. Even better than mom's home.
Menu very promising. I would love to come back.
"To the ski jump" Keep it up! 😊
Very nice team, delicious 😋 Food whether on site or to take away. Very clean, as there is no contact with the money from the sellers. Very good selection of sausages, meat products and cheese.
I got a delicious lunch to go today: fish with spinach and boiled potatoes and a burger and for dessert apple pyre with vanilla sauce 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋.
Unfortunately it was too late to take pictures. See for yourself.
I had heard good stories about this restaurant, but unfortunately I can't tell them from my own experience. The food is just ok I would say, but too pricey for what you get. Unfortunately the service was not that good, I at least expect the waiter to come by every now and then to ask how it tastes, but unfortunately I had to look around a lot and make hand gestures to get someone to the table.
The hostess is very nice!!
The cheese spaetzle was nothing, and the onion mixture was definitely not fresh and chewy like chewing gum. I didn't even eat half of it. It's a shame that the side salad was also omitted here – but they still charge €17.
We ended up at Antep thanks to the good Google reviews.
The pizza was very appetizing and tasted very good.
The XXL doner kebab was also great with the curry sauce and hot sauce.
The fries were also good, unfortunately only one had mayo, but otherwise they were excellent.
A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience – Twice!
I stumbled upon Globo Restaurant while looking for a place to eat during a weekend trip to Nuremberg. The reviews were glowing, so I decided to walk in without a booking — and I’m so glad I did.
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Sarah, the host, was incredibly accommodating and somehow found me a seat despite the place being packed. I was dining solo, but never once felt alone. I ordered the steak and eggplant, and everything — from the perfectly cooked steak to the incredible bread — was just fantastic.
Sarah’s friendliness really stood out. She remembered my name, took time to chat even in the middle of a busy evening, and made the experience feel truly personal. I was so impressed that I immediately booked myself in for dinner the next night.
When I returned the following evening, earlier than my reservation, Sarah again found me a seat — this time outside to enjoy the warmer weather. I wasn’t in the mood for alcohol, so she whipped up a special mocktail just for me — it was refreshing and delicious.
During our conversation, I mentioned wanting to try white asparagus but hadn’t had the chance yet. Incredibly, Sarah and the chef went into the kitchen and put together a special meal featuring it — just for me. I believe it was a preview of their upcoming menu, and I felt incredibly lucky to try it.
This level of care and attentiveness is rare. The food was outstanding, but it was the warmth, hospitality, and personal touches that made Globo a highlight of my trip. I can’t recommend it enough — and I’ll definitely be returning when I’m next in Nuremberg.
We stopped by spontaneously after visiting the beach and were very positively surprised by the (at second glance) very vegan-friendly offer. There was deliciously prepared seitan meat that could be used to veganize various dishes. They have various vegan sauces and vegan mayo. We had fries and a vegan Dürüm and both were delicious. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly staff! Very accommodating and patient when you can't make a decision right away. Everything was prepared fresh and warm. In addition to the usual drinks, there were 2 local lemonades that were super tasty. We'd love to come back :)
