Hexenhäuschen in Bad Oeynhausen

Was für ein schönes Restaurant. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt. Das Essen war hervorragend. Tolles Preis / Leistungsverhältnis.

Gut bürgerliche deutsche Küche mit sehr große Portionen zu günstigen Preisen. Das Essen ist lecker, das Ambiente gemütlich und der Service aufmerksam. Am Wochenende und an Feiertagen empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung. Ein vegetarisches Hauptgericht (neben dem Salaten) kann man bestellen, ansonsten ist die Küche sehr fleischlastig. Achtung: Keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

Ich bin mit meiner Freundin zufällig auf das Hexenhäuschen gestoßen. Wir fanden die Namen für die Gerichte ganz lustig. Es ist mal was anderes, als nur Standard Namen zu lesen. Wir hatten Glück gehabt einen Tisch zu bekommen, da man in der Regel, telefonisch eine Reservierung machen muss. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und passt zu den Namen. Es ist nicht besonders groß, aber dafür ist die Dekor zum Thema Hexen perfekt. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Es ist heutzutage leider seltener geworden. Wir haben uns sehr Wohl gefühlt, als ob wir bei Mutti zu Besuch wären. Das Essen war der Hammer. Die Portionen waren so groß, das nicht einmal ich alles geschafft habe aufzuessen. Meist esse ich noch die Portion meiner Freundin :) Ich hatte Bratkartoffeln mit Rumpsteak und muss sagen ich habe noch nie so gute Bratkartoffel gegessen wie dort. Sie waren perfekt angebraten und das Fleisch so wie der Salat waren Mega. Auch Preislich war ich überrascht das es nicht so teuer war. Ich hatte mir vor dem Hauptgericht noch Gnadenbrot bestell und muss sagen, das es sehr sehr lecker war und dazu eine große Portion (Vorspeise) für knappe 7 Euro. Das allein hätte schon gereicht :) Die Location ist leider ein Stück von uns entfernt, aber ich bin mir sehr sicher, das ich dort wieder essen gehen werde und nehme noch ein paar Freunde mit. Ich hoffe, dass das Lokal bestehen bleibt. In der heutigen Zeit, ist es leider immer schwieriger so ein gutes Essen zu finden. Von mir einen großen Respekt an die Besitzer und deren Personal. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren an Christi Himmelfahrt spontan im Hexenhäuschen Essen. Es war voll, jedoch nach einem Spaziergang war ein Platz für uns 3 frei. Besonders zu erwähnen ist das wirklich sehr nette Personal. Zudem kam das wirklich sehr gute Essen dazu. Es waren sehr gute Portionen und auch der Nachtisch war mehr als lecker. Wer hier Essen möchte sollte einen Tisch reservieren. Wir haben uns von Anfang an bis Ende sehr wohl gefühlt und uns fehlte es an nix. Wir sind wirklich mehr als satt nach Hause gegangen.

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Chefin kocht selber und sehr gut. Die Servicekraft ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Das Restaurant trägt seinen Namen zurecht. Sehr gemütlich und vorallem sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Essen. Wir sind jedes Jahr (wenn wir in Oeynhausen sind) wieder da. Vielen Dank

Waren durch Zufall das erste mal hier. Urigen Ambiente mit Tischen für zwei und mehr Personen. Es gibt für warme Tage einen gemütlichen Aussenbereich. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Ein echter Tipp❣️von Ferne angereist und nach telefonischem Reservierungsversuch wurde ich auch zurückgerufen und bekam einen Platz. Auch in der Woche, besser reservieren, da sehr beliebt! Leider konnte das Hexenhäuschen meine Erwartungen nicht erfüllen – besonders, weil die bisherigen Rezensionen deutlich positiver waren. Die Bedienung wirkte nicht sehr freundlich, und als wir weitere Getränke bestellen wollten, hatte man eher das Gefühl, übersehen zu werden. Wir hatten die Henkermahlzeit gewählt: Die Pommes waren qualitativ enttäuschend, das Fleisch nur mittelmäßig. Am störendsten war jedoch die Belüftung im Restaurant. Unsere Kleidung hat so stark nach Rauch und Küchengeruch gerochen, dass wir sie direkt waschen mussten. Insgesamt leider kein Besuch, der den vielen positiven Bewertungen entspricht.

We had a great meal yesterday at the Hexenhäuschen (Witch's Cottage), a quaint and cozy atmosphere, and very attentive service. One small point of criticism... the food was a bit too oily for my taste, even though I enjoy hearty dishes... perhaps some of the food should be briefly placed on kitchen paper after frying. But otherwise, it was a good meal and a lovely evening.

Very quaint and lovingly decorated. Despite not having a reservation, they made an effort, and we found a comfortable seat at the counter. The food was incredibly delicious, and the appetizer of fried mushrooms with garlic cream was a dream. The service was very friendly and, despite the hustle and bustle, always had a kind word to offer.

I'm still thrilled...: We were looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance... the decor immediately caught my eye and was just the way I like it... old-fashioned 👌 I had the steak for dinner and was thrilled; I haven't had such a good steak in a long time... The rest was simply delicious too! For dessert, we had apple pie with ice cream, and I could have eaten so much more if I wasn't already more than full 😄 The price-performance ratio is just 100% perfect.... This restaurant will definitely be my first stop if I ever go to Bad Oyenhausen again 😄

I've rarely experienced such a friendly server. Even though the restaurant was full, she asked repeatedly, in a very friendly manner, if everything was okay. She even took the time to make a cool comment. It was also great that we were informed in advance that due to staffing levels, the food might take a while to arrive. The drinks arrived quickly. The food was incredibly good. Very generous portions and incredibly delicious!

I wanted to reserve a table and therefore tried to call once in the morning. Nobody answered the phone. Now when I called again hours later, I was told in the most unfriendly manner and told what I could think of to disturb there. If no one is working and answering the phone, I don't understand why you have to be so unfriendly and snotty.

I like these types of restaurants. The food was so rich that we had to have the rest packed up. Great quirky atmosphere. If you like simple, delicious dishes and a simply inviting and cozy atmosphere, this is the right place for you.

I was here with my wife on February 1st. The inner city is unfortunately dead, but there are very tasty dishes here. My wife ordered the brawn and I ordered the schnitzel with champion sauce. We swapped plates in the middle. Both dishes were of great quality. The brawn tastes typical and fresh. The tartar sauce was seasoned perfectly. The schnitzel, across the plate and still quite thick, was juicy and tender, like no schnitzel I've had before. The fried potatoes, as if my grandmother had cooked them, simply good. The service is fast, you have to like the ambience, but it doesn't bother you. It's just the witch's house. Thank you for the very tasty feast

The Christmas party was very successful here. The starters are simply delicious. The portions are plentiful and of very good quality. The atmosphere here is very cozy and it is very difficult to get seats here without a reservation.
