The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere, lovingly furnished down to the last detail. The food tastes great and the prices are reasonable.

Seems absolutely inconspicuous at first. Rustic ambience, great service, just reading the menu is a joy (matched to the ambience), large portion but most importantly, very, very tasty...we were all very impressed. And for a really long time... surprised by the final price (absolutely positive) - I actually only know it the other way around Absolute recommendation!

I just fell in love with this place. I arrived and was looking for a place to eat when I noticed the witch's house. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and does the witches justice. If a restaurant can call itself a witch's house, it's this one. Everything here is thoroughly witch-themed. From the witches on the ceiling, to pictures of mythological creatures on the wall, to the menu with dishes like "Coastal Magic" and "Sweet Plague" - everything stays true to the witch theme. The toilets are signposted “Cesspool + Donnerbalken”. Very amusing! :) A cozy restaurant alone is not enough, after all, people come here hungry. The witch's house can also score points here. For €14 I got a decent portion. You're guaranteed to be full here and the whole thing tastes good too. Kudos to the kitchen! The price is probably more than just fair. Despite the fact that it was very busy and the staff had their hands full, the service didn't let the calm and humor be taken away from them. The atmosphere was very casual, a few funny sayings were made here and there and situational comedy was exploited. Very sympathic. Before I placed my order, the waitress informed me that it might take some time due to the high number of visitors. I found that very thoughtful and honest. After all the praise, now some constructive criticism! ;) For me, only cash payment was possible. We have a strong cash culture in Germany, but allowing card payments wouldn't hurt the witch's house. It's simply contemporary.

Huge portions for a reasonable price. There are also lots of beers fresh from the tap. You should definitely make a reservation before your visit, as the dining room is quite small.

A very successful little witch's house, simply well and beautifully made. Had a top steak with fried potatoes and a small salad and I was happy with everything from A to Z. A little insider tip when you are in Bad Oeynhausen. But be sure to reserve a table in advance.

I would like to give 10 🌟. Rarely experienced such fantastic service. The schnitzels are incredibly tasty😋. A really cute little restaurant with a lot of attention to detail. Reservation is mandatory. The little witch's house is hidden between 2 houses opposite the train station. This insanely amazing restaurant definitely deserves more attention. If I were to visit Bad Oeynhausen again, this would be the first place I would eat at again...the price/performance ratio is still right here too. Very large portions for a reasonable price. Hats off...keep it up 👏

A real witch's house! A bit dusty.

Totally cozy (but small - we recommend making a reservation or getting there early), super warm service, very tasty and lavishly portioned home-style cooking (note, the "for in between" dishes on the menu, such as the Knubbels, pass for the main course elsewhere), very fair Prices. If I'm on a business trip in the area again, I'll be happy to come back for the third time. Thank you!

The food was simply great, that's all you can say. Price-performance ratio is simply top. It is highly recommended to reserve a table here and experience it for yourself. Update October 6th, 2023: Still just a dream. Just a dream. First of all: make a reservation and it's cash only! As the name suggests, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a witch's house, and the service is very friendly and accommodating. The menu is full of good German cuisine and is reasonably priced. The food itself is very plentiful, lovingly prepared and the taste matches the appearance. We will definitely come here again. Park? Opposite is an underpass which leads to a well-located parking lot.

Simply recommended! All around perfect! Definitely coming back.

What a beautiful, quaint little place! Well attended but the lady at the counter was super nice! The food was super tasty and a huge portion! I ate some of the best fried potatoes of my life there. If you want to lose weight, this is the wrong place for you, but if you want to eat really good rump steak, schnitzel or burgers, this is the right place!!!

Quaint and cozy little restaurant. Price-performance is very good. (The portions are just too big for me and take-away costs an extra 70 cents). Service was friendly and quick. The choice of food for the number of (few) seats is very large. The food was hearty and tasty. Thank you very much, we'll be back!

Great place if you like it cozy and authentic! Value for money was really great, although I found the portions to be a bit large (that's not a bad thing). Service was quick and nice. Food was really tasty, but to give it a 5, I personally still lack a little WOW feeling.

Wenn der Hunger auf leckere, deutsche Küche ruft- geht es in das Hexenhäuschen. Bei jedem unserer Besuche war das Essen super lecker, toll angerichtet - einfach nur genial. Preis Leistung ist Top und egal wie voll das Restaurant ist, die Bedienung hat für jeden immer ein Lächeln und gute Laune parat.

Urigen, kleines Hexenhaus mit vorgelagertem kleinen Kräutergarten mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Achtung, es ist zurückgelegen und nicht sofort von der Strasse erkennbar! Hexisches Ambiente mit leckerem Speisenangebot! Die Teller werden reichlich gefüllt! Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Tischreservierung von Vorteil, da kleines Lokal. Absolute Empehlung von mir!!! Einziges Manko: nach Besuch des Restaurants mussten alle unsere Kleidungsstücke in die Wäsche, da der Küchengeruch sich in den Fasern festgesetzt hatte...ist halt eine Hexenküche ;-))

Ein zauberhafter Ort. Hier gibt es wirklich gar nichts zu meckern. Die Oberhexe zaubert in Ihrer Küche die leckersten Gerichte, die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend und der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Dazu gibt es noch einige Biere vom Fass. Also alles, was das Herz begehrt. Durch das begrenzte Platzangebot ist es aber auf jeden Fall sinnig, im Vorfeld einen Tisch zu reservieren.

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal im Hexenhäuschen. Das Essen war super lecker und die Portionen waren sehr groß, sodass selbst der größte Hunger gestillt wird. Das Personal war ebenfalls ausgesprochen freundlich! Nur zu empfehlen!

Das Hexenhäuschen ist ein echtes Bad Oeynhausener Kleinod. Ein wenig versteckt, wie es sich für ein Hexenhaus gehört, gibt einem dieses Lokal mit seiner liebevollen Einrichtung und schangeligen Stimmung das Gefühl man sei im Urlaub in den Harzer Bergen. Das Schnitzel war fantastisch, dazu Bratkartoffeln wie bei Oma. Da merkt man, das die Chefin hier moch selbst in der Küche steht. Die freundliche Bewirtung runden den service ab und die Portionen lassen garantiert niemanden hungrig nach hause gehen. Was gut ist, ist gefragt. Daher sollte man am Wochenende reservieren! Gerne wieder.

Bestes Schnitzel seit langem, super freundliche Bedienung. Übriges Ambiente. Wir waren dort zu Viert, alle Speisen auch die Vorspeise (Hexenbrot) super lecker.

Das Essen war mega lecker 😋. Die Portion ist sehr reichlich. Habe auch Fotos gemacht nur die Namen der Gerichte fallen mir nicht mehr ein. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen dort essen zu gehen. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig okay. Allerdings sollte man unbedingt vorher reservieren, da das Restaurant klein ist.
