Staff impressively friendly. Surprisingly flexible, which in principle was not to be expected as there were a large number of reservations. Nevertheless, it was taken for two people and the food was cooked and served excellently. So overall: great service, high quality and nothing to complain about. Recommended.

Very nice restaurant with a great, cozy atmosphere, just right for the mountains. The service in the restaurant is very good and attentive, yet reserved but Bavarian-style cozy. The food tastes and looks excellent, especially the deer medallions that I was able to treat myself to today for my birthday. 😉 Really recommended.

The review refers only to the restaurant. We visited the restaurant on May 24 and spent lovely hours here. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is new but traditionally furnished. Suitable for people with walking difficulties. The food tastes excellent and is not overpriced. Dogs are also welcome. We felt comfortable.

This hotel was recommended to us for a short break (Friday to Monday) and we can only report positively. Very nice corner room with balcony and view of the mountains, delicious breakfast, beautiful sun terrace with homemade cakes and a menu that every guest will find what they are looking for. All of this is of very good quality. Super friendly staff and the owners “live” their hotel every day with a lot of passion. In short, an all-round nice “package” that we can only recommend! We'll definitely be back!

Although we stayed in different accommodation during our vacation, we came across the Birkenhof homepage while looking for a place for dinner. We particularly liked the selection of food and the ambience was actually convincing. Very comfortably furnished. The service was super friendly and the food came quickly and was delicious. Despite the large dining room, it wasn't uncomfortable or loud. Unfortunately the following day was a rest day and so we weren't able to stop by a second time before the end of our vacation. Maybe next time!

It was our first time in Reit im Winkl and also our first time in Birkenhof and we can only confirm the very good reviews here. Toni and Verena and the entire team are very warm people who leave no wish unfulfilled. We were there with our almost 4-year-old son and were treated very family-friendly. Very child friendly with a playground at the restaurant, pony farm and children's meals that came before our meal! At the end there was even honey as a farewell gift! We'll definitely come back.

We stayed at the Birkenhof for 12 days. Ideal conditions for mountain hiking and relaxing. Every morning breakfast was a treat, no wishes were left unattended. Excursion tips came directly from the hotel manager with the coffee. The manager of the house came to the table every day and asked how everyone was feeling. Exceptionally family friendly. The rooms are very spacious. The adventure shower has something of a wellness feeling about it. The catering and its staff is an attentive and culinary experience. We enjoyed the menu over the days. Top location, nice terrace, very good service

Good, but we expected better ;) The food was good, but nothing special, felt convenience... My meal was served porcini mushrooms instead of chanterelles. When I asked, I got chanterelles without any problem. All in all, the service was really good and friendly. There is a play tower with a slide and swing for children. The view is great :)

We spent a wonderful holiday here. The gallery room was just gorgeous. From the furnishings, the cleanliness to the view from the balcony, everything was really perfect. Hospitality could have been invented here. The staff was super nice and accommodating. I would like to highlight the boss again, who really spread a good mood from morning to evening. Every wish, especially at breakfast, was fulfilled immediately. I'm pretty sure this wasn't the last time we were guests of the Abholzer family. Our recommendation rate is 100%. (There was no commission for this review... 🤣), it's an honest... PS: This summer we also spent 5 nights at the Berghotel Birkenhof. Again 5 out of 5 stars. The Berghotel Birkenhof, we already knew the rustic, cozy restaurant. The hotel impresses with its very spacious rooms. Bathroom, separate toilet. A spacious balcony with a view of the Unterberg and the Kaisergebirge, a dream. The room was cleaned and mopped daily. We found it particularly pleasant that the cleaning took place during our breakfast. The staff and the Abholzer family complement each other excellently. The service staff impresses with their charm, good humor and competence. Arrive and feel good, that's what happened to us on our vacation. When we arrived the room was ready for occupancy. We liked it so much that we extended it one night.

Everything to recommend top excursion destination

Wonderful hotel, fantastic view of the mountains, great menu and good food. I was very impressed.

It was once again a perfect vacation for us. Really great and helpful family, super nice staff, from the maid to the service as well as in the kitchen, only praise from us. Well-equipped hotel, very clean and well-maintained, we enjoyed the food in the house very much. To put it bluntly, it was perfect accommodation for our needs as we traveled by car and had a motorbike and e-bikes with us . The hotel is in a very quiet location just above Reit im Winkl, adjacent to a golf course. Great starting point for hikes, cyclists or motorcycle tours. We'd love to come back!

We were guests in the restaurant twice, had a delicious meal and were served very attentively. We also sat on the beautifully designed terrace/garden with a fantastic view of the Kaiser.

Not as beautiful as the old glapfhof, but it is closed, the son built the new Birkenhof, about 500 meters further back like the glapfhof, just a huge hotel, Bettenburg, no view of Reit im Winkl like the beautiful glapfhof, a shame

Food was super tasty. Special requests were addressed without much discussion. The best part... dogs are welcome here. We recommend. The view alone is worth going to the beautiful restaurant.

A really nice location with a wonderful ambience. The service was very accommodating, friendly and quick. Special requests are implemented and the table is beautifully decorated if you make a reservation. 7 different meals, lovingly prepared and very tasty. Price promises the high quality of the kitchen and the products. The hotel and the restaurant are probably one of the best in town. The innkeepers are lovely and kind. See you next time.

We stayed in this wonderful accommodation for 3 nights. What can I say, absolutely recommended. Great location. Tastefully and high quality furnished hotel. Super accommodating and friendly service. And what is particularly worth mentioning is the excellent food. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us but otherwise we had wonderful days in every respect. We'll definitely come back. We were at the restaurant for our wedding anniversary, and were warmly welcomed by the owner. To our surprise, the table was festively decorated for the occasion, without us knowing beforehand. This hotel is something really special. The owners radiate everything you could wish for, the aura of this hotel is incredibly pleasant, we stayed in the Franzl holiday apartment, which radiates a particularly positive karma. You feel like you're coming home. The entire apartment, the entire grounds and the hotel are exceptionally clean. The entire staff was very warm, open and friendly. The breakfast offers a great selection of regional delicacies and is really delicious. The sauna area is completely sufficient and also very clean and decorated with love. Overall, the hotel is really exceptionally lovingly and stylishly designed and we have rarely felt so at home and comfortable right from the start. A very special thank you goes to the two owners of the hotel. The Michalski family wishes them all the very best, they are doing an excellent job

The Berghotel is a lovingly furnished and warmly run hotel. The rooms are friendly and more than adequately large. The breakfast buffet and the evening menu leave almost nothing to be desired.

Wiederholungstäter und dieses mal über den Jahreswechsel 2023/2024. Wir können das Hotel weiterhin uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Das Besitzerehepaar und auch das Personal sind alle super lieb und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen im Restaurant gehört mit zu den besten Restaurants in Reit im Winkl. Auch der Silvester Abend und das Menü waren spitze 👍🏻 Die Räumlichkeiten wurden zu den Feiertagen mit sehr viel Liebe geschmückt. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast sehr wohl und wir können sagen, dass wir uns super gut erholt haben. Wir sagen nochmals DANKE für die schöne Zeit und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen. Wir waren das erste mal im 2018 erbauten Restaurant des Berghotel Birkenhof. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist hervorragend. Sehr schön eingerichtet, und die Tische toll gedeckt. Auch das Essen war sehr gut. Habe noch keine Haxe gesehen, die so auf einem Tablett serviert wurde. Auf dem Bild habe ich schon was auf den Teller gelegt. Deswegen sieht es schon etwas durcheinander aus 😄 Toiletten sehr sauber. Insgesamt waren wir absolut zufrieden und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Klare Empfehlung.

Wir sind schon zum wiederholten Mal hier und fühlen uns wieder sehr wohl! Alle Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, die Zimmer sind groß und wunderschön eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl. Beim Frühstück gibt es eine tolle, super leckere Auswahl und auch das Abendessen ist immer wieder richtig gut! Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage im Berghotel Birkenhof. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für die Vegetarier unter uns war immer sehr leckere Option vorhanden. Es ist alles mit Liebe im Detail eingerichtet, sodass man sich rund um wohlfühlt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Lokal ist wie immer super weihnachtlich geschmückt. Das Essen ist super lecker. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Wir waren in unserem Urlaub 2 mal dort und gehen auch nochmal hin. Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts sagen, aber wenn die so aussehen wie das Lokal dann fühlt mann sich dort bestimmt sau wohl. Macht weiter so. TOP 👍

Wir haben im Birkenhof unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Es war ein absoluter Traum. Das ganze Ambiente, der Ausbilck, die Architektur und Gestaltung des gesamten Hotels, das Essen war das Beste das wir seit langem gegessen haben. All unsere Gäste waren hin und weg. Das Servicepersonal super freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf all unsere Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Es war ein rundum und zu 100% perfekter Tag! Danke Verena und Toni mit Team!!

Unser Aufenthalt im Berghotel war ein absoluter Traum! Wir waren zur Hochzeit von Freunden dort eingeladen. Es war wirklich alles perfekt organisiert. Das freundliche, zuvorkommende Personal und die herzliche, familiäre Atmosphäre werden wir immer in Erinnerung behalten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das durchweg fantastische Essen. Wir waren im Familienzimmer untergebracht aus welchem man die hauseigenen Reitpferde bestaunen konnte. Die einmalige Lage mit der wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Bergwelt rundet den Aufenthalt perfekt ab. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!

Sehr schöne saubere und große Zimmer. Mir gefällt der Holzstil, nur das Bett hat ein bisschen geknarzt, aber bequem, so dass es ok war. Das Essen abends war fantastisch und das Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig. Für uns ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Sehr zu empfehlen. 👍

Wir waren letzte Woche fünf Tage Gast in dem Hotel. Man konnte sich auch als Gast fühlen, da die gesamte Atmosphäre sehr gut war. Das Essen, das Zimmer und die Lage des Hauses ist TOP. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren vergangenes Wochenende mit 34 Leuten im Hotel Ü/HP. Grösstes Lob an die Gastgeber und ihr Team. Besser geht nicht. Unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen.
