Sehr nettes Gasthaus, sehr freundliches Personal, der Most (beide weiß/rot) sind geschmacklich Top! Das Essen ist reichhaltig, Grillteller wirklich zu Empfehlen, genauso die Kässpätzle, Kinderschnitzel mit Pommes waren sehr gut, meine Tochter war happy.😉 Update 02.07.2026 Immer wieder ein Genuß hier zu Essen. Sehr schöne Location/Biergarten, wir standen hier für 2 Tage mit unserem Wohnmobil und können sowohl den Stellplatz als auch den Biergarten nur sehr empfehlen ... zum Glück war der grosse Stellplatz der Stadt Wangen belegt, sonst hätten wir vermutlich Beides nicht entdeckt

Roller Biergarten und ein gemütliches Gasthaus laden zum Verweilen ein. Wir haben nur etwas getrunken, wurden dabei sehr freundlich bedient. Das Essen auf den Nebentischen sah sehr gut aus und wie wir mitbekommen, waren viele der Besucher schon oft da. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir dort auch etwas essen.

Freundliches Personal, kurze Wartezeit und gute Portionen zu einem vernünftigen Preis, gerne wieder.

Traumhafte Location mit ganz besonderem Charme Apr. 2026 • Mit Freunden Wir vier. Sind nach Wangen gekommen um am Samstag,das Handballspiel Wangen/Heddesheim anzuschauen und unsere Mannschaft anzufeuern. Am Freitagabend sind etwa 45 Minuten durch Tal und Wald gewandert – und wurden am Ende mit einem wirklich traumhaften Fleckchen belohnt. Das Restaurant "Stallbesen," liegt einfach wunderschön! Ein tolles, liebevoll gestaltetes Ambiente, ein super schöner Biergarten mit vielen Palmen und einem herrlichen Blick auf die Berge. Wir hatten dazu noch perfektes Wetter – Sonne pur! Das komplette Team war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr herzlich. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Und das Essen? Einfach mega – richtig lecker und absolut empfehlenswert! Zum Abschluss haben wir es uns noch in einem großen Holzliegestuhl gemütlich gemacht, die Sonne genossen und einen köstlichen Johannisbeerlikör getrunken. Einfach nur wow – was für ein idyllischer Ort! Wir kommen zwar aus Rheinland-Pfalz, aber eines ist sicher: Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Alles perfekt! Wir waren 14 Personen (davon 6 Kinder) und sind nach einem Ausflug hier eingekehrt. Wir hatten davor reserviert und hatten einen schönen Platz im Gastraum. Auch der von mir gewünschte Hochstuhl in meiner Onlinereservierung stand schon bereit. Wir wurden sehr schnell und freundlich bedient. Es wurde auch vorgeschlagen erst die Kinderessen zu bringen, was aber gar nicht nötig war, da die Kinder draußen ums Haus schön spielen konnten. Essen war sehr lecker und auch ordentliche Portionen. Da stimmt einfach alles! Auch Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut. Gerne wieder.

Tellersulz und Halb+Halb sind meine Favoriten, das freundliche Servicepersonal meine Lieblinge. Hoffentlich bleibt es noch lange so.

Waren mit einer 8-Mann/Frau Gruppe zum Essen. Das Lokal wirkt sehr hell, freundlich und richtig einladend. Sehr freundlicher Empfang von der Servicekraft welche uns sofort den reservierten Tisch zeigte. Getränkeaufnahme und Bereitstellung schnell und perfekt. Essensbestellung verlief ebenfalls in sehr angenehmer und freundlicher Art und Weise. Irgendwie waren alle mehr als ausgeglichen und merkte, dass die Arbeit gut und gerne erledigt wurde. Das Schweineschnitzel war sehr gut und die Pommes mit das Beste in den letzten Wochen. Da war kein altes Fett im und sie waren richtig gut frittiert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut, auch wenn die Speisen für einen Besen nicht gerade niedrig sind. Das gleicht die Qualität und der Service aber mehr als nur aus. Da zahlt man gerne etwas mehr. Wir kommen wieder, dies ist gewiss!!

After a great bike tour, enjoy a delicious Swiss sausage salad at the Stallbesen.

Terrible experience: we arrived for dinner at 8:15 PM and were told the hot food was already closed, and they only offered us a few cold dishes from the menu. So we ordered a completely inedible sausage salad, which tasted like dog food floating in a puddle of cheap vinegar. I only ate one bite and left it all behind because I was feeling nauseous.

We celebrated our outdoor wedding at Leonhardt's StallBesen on August 8, 2025 – and it was simply dreamy! Leo, Claudi, and Julia are absolutely warm hosts who looked after us and our guests in the best possible way. The location was a perfect fit for us, especially since we were getting married in traditional costume and are from the Allgäu region ourselves. It was especially nice that we could have our outdoor wedding right there with a view of the mountains – a picture-perfect backdrop! The buffet we chose was fantastic. On that day, we were able to celebrate an unforgettable day in glorious sunshine, with a wonderful wedding officiant, a truly amazing singer, our loved ones, and this dream location. Many thanks to the entire team – we can wholeheartedly recommend StallBesen!” PS: We'll be back for sausage salad soon! 😜

If you're in the area, it's an absolute must. My highlight is the half-and-half sausage salad.

Super delicious beer and fast, friendly service...unfortunately, the sausage salad and rag salad weren't enough for the two of us! We then decided on Kratzede...in our opinion, far too little on the plate for far too much money...the view was magnificent, but the fact that the solar roof rotates even at night and the road up to Wangen is busy didn't really let us rest...a tip from us: if the campers eat and drink at your place, the first drink would be on the house, for example ;)

The restaurant is highly recommended, even with children. You don't have to wait long for the food, the portions are generous, but the prices are higher than the portions. Overall, the ambiance and the taste make up for it.

Super nice restaurant with a wonderfully cozy beer garden. This was my second time visiting this restaurant. Although I was only passing through, I would definitely be back more often. The only thing is that the campsite might be cheaper for restaurant guests. I recommend the sausage salad 👌🏼

My wife and I were part of a large birthday party that enjoyed the excellent cuisine, superbly attentive service, and the truly comfortable atmosphere of this inn until late into the evening on a Saturday afternoon. The excellent performance of the team at Leonhardts Stallbesen was topped off by the fact that a second, equally large group of guests was present and served at the same time as ours. Conclusion: A fantastic venue in an absolutely quiet location with a top-notch team!

Ongoing review: 1st visit on June 25, 2025: What a great location in a beautiful area. Authentic country-house gastronomy at its finest. The country house, with its dining rooms, is divided into several smaller areas, which, however, are not completely self-contained. Beautifully decorated with lots of love, it exudes the expected atmosphere. Since we arrived in "midsummer temperatures," we sat outside in the beautiful, large beer garden. At first glance, you can simply say, "Come, look, marvel, and enjoy." The staff has everything under control. Our orders were taken and delivered very quickly. All questions were answered and answered to our complete satisfaction. Special requests for food were not only accommodated, but also fulfilled!!! The portions are very large. The food is wonderfully seasoned and arrives at the perfect temperature. To run such a business profitably, sound pricing is required. This is also the case here. Reasonable prices are charged for what is offered. These are, in my opinion, fair! Thank you for the great hospitality and the pleasant conversation. See you next time… and keep up the good work!!!

Friendly and quick service, delicious food, and a lovely atmosphere. We were completely satisfied.

We got a table at 5 p.m. on Sunday without a reservation. However, by 6 p.m. the restaurant was almost fully booked, so reservations are recommended. The service is super fast and very friendly. We had cheese spaetzle with mixed salad and fried onions, and the grilled platter as our second course. Both were delicious, and the portions were just right. For me, the spaetzle could have been a bit creamier/runnier in consistency, but that's a matter of taste. Still, it's great! The atmosphere is cozy. Hop cones hang everywhere on the ceilings and walls, stacked wooden sheaths, and cast-iron fences. The main room is very large and therefore quite noisy with lots of visitors. However, there are smaller side rooms. In summer, you can sit outside in the beer garden. All in all, a great restaurant and highly recommended. Another note: this was definitely a positive review, and the noise level in the large room was less of a criticism than a comment. It didn't bother us. What I meant was that there are also quiet side rooms available if needed. 😀

We ate and drank deliciously there, I found the red cider particularly good and in keeping with the atmosphere 😍 the fried potatoes are very crispy, the service was friendly. There are parking spaces in front of and behind the restaurant. I found it a bit noisy inside, but the restaurant was also full.

It is large, very nice garden and the interior is cozy and rustic. The food comes promptly and tastes super delicious! There is a large selection of different dishes.

I was going to share a photo of the food, but it looked so good and we were so hungry that we devoured it before we remembered! Everything we ate was delicious. We got the Grill Plate and the Kässpätzle, highly recommend trying both! The Kässpätzle is very similar to Mac and Cheese, but the pasta is softer and lighter, and overall the dish doesn't feel as heavy and fatty as M+C. Absolutely delicious and it's a regional speciality. Take note - the portion sizes are very large, though for some dishes you can request smaller portions. You absolutely get what you pay for and more, we almost had to roll back to our campervan. The staff are very friendly and the beer garden is gorgeous, overlooking their beautiful farmland. The campsite itself is fairly simple, don't expect top notch facilities - but the peace and quiet more than makes up for it if you've got the ability to camp off grid for a little bit. The views are stellar! If you need electricity when you camp, recommend bringing at least a 25m cable at minimum - 50m would be ideal. The bathrooms are shared with the beer garden, but they're very well cleaned and maintained so it wasn't really a problem. There is a Rewe (supermarket) a 10 minute ride away on a bike, but there are some hills so if you don't have an e-Bike get ready to work up a sweat!

Excellent Swabian cuisine at a very good price-performance ratio. Staff deserves an Oscar for friendliness.

Everything is ok! Fresh bread should be on the table on Saturday evening! Farmer's bread would be suitable for this ambience!

It's a shame that the side salad doesn't come with a normal portion. It was relatively expensive for its size. The remaining portions were super tasty and large Addendum, of course we also think about expensive and not expensive for others... we don't need the latest clothes or cell phone every year. As I said, everything else was very good and I would be happy to come back.

Stayed for one night and found this fantastic spot, a beautiful restaurant in the countryside. Staff were all friendly and spoke english to us. Food was traditional and tasty. Camping is fairly basic with toilets, water and amazing views. Will stop again if lucky enough to be in the area.

Camping info below, first gastronomy. The gastronomy is highly recommended. The food is consistently very tasty and plentiful. The service is very nice and attentive. Camping pitch: It is a nature pitch. If you want to stand straight, you have to support it. But there are a lot of boards on site to support. Fresh water only with a watering can and pretty much running. Chemical toilets can be disposed of in the ground using the red lids on the corner of the building. Gray water doesn't work here. It gives me the impression that this is all still quite new. In my opinion there is a need for improvement. But contact via Whatsapp is usually quite quick, the owner is very friendly, it's fun to be there.

The food tasted delicious, but the food is overpriced €3.50 for a small cola is exaggerated, that's the most you'll pay for a large one. In addition, there is very little choice and only two desserts to choose from. I didn't particularly like the potato salad either.

The last time we were here was in May 2020 - unfortunately Corona restricted us at that time and the restaurant was unfortunately closed... we spent a night with our caravan here in Humbrecht after the lockdown was lifted based on the recommendation of “Landfreuden”. 🤩 Today we were able to test the restaurant and can highly recommend it! 🤩 You stay overnight in a quiet environment, in a beautiful landscape, close to the motorway 🛣️ A96, registration is very easy via WhatsApp! Very friendly greeting when registering. We would love to come back 😍

We have been to the Stall-Broom several times and will definitely come back. Whether it's summer or early March, it's a great location. The food is plentiful and tastes very good. After enjoying the dark cellar beer, we lie down in the motorhome on the associated parking space to spend the night. A great thing 👍🏻
