The burger was tasty and good, but I wouldn't order the schnitzel again; it was poorly seasoned, if not at all, and very dry. The service was good and friendly.

Both the cuisine and service were fine - but there was that certain something missing to give it the full five stars. It's difficult to name specific points - overall everything was good, but not exceptional. Nevertheless: If I'm in Wangen again, I would definitely come back. The restaurant was very busy, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. Accessibility is limited.

Excellent food at Stoffels. We had a burger with asparagus, onion roast and asparagus Gordon Bleu and everyone was thrilled. Really highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious food and finally a restaurant that breads the schnitzel itself and makes its own cream sauce and salad dressing (without powder!). The spaetzle wasn't a finished product either. You can taste this quality. Plus a nice ambience and courteous service. We'd love to come back!

Tasty and worth the price, but not cheap. Since Farny owns a wide range of good beers - the light Böckle (if available) is very tasty. Really good food, quick, friendly service, seating outside and inside.

This is the second time I have visited Stoffel's. My previous visit also fully met my expectations. The restaurant presents itself in the classic brewery style with light colors and rustic furnishings that extend to the sanitary facilities. This time we had made reservations in time for Sunday dinner - admittedly only half an hour in advance. We therefore had the pleasure of being seated at a regular table instead of the bar tables. The service was again excellent; The employees were consistently friendly and accommodating. I had previously enjoyed the delicious veal schnitzel, this time I chose the onion roast, which was cooked perfectly medium-rare. The spaetzle with plenty of butter was also excellent. This onion roast is now ranked 1-2 in my culinary experiences in the Ländle - proof of the high quality of gastronomy in Swabia. My father's steak was also perfectly cooked and excellent. The kitchen does a top job. I will visit Stoffel's again on my next stay in Wangen.

Very good restaurant. Was here in the beer garden with 2 colleagues on Friday after work. Service was very friendly. Since it was relatively full, the kitchen unfortunately prepared our food incorrectly and we had to wait an hour. We were informed straight away and as compensation we were given fresh bread and lots of garlic butter. People are not machines and something like this can happen, hence 5 stars. The burgers were also very tasty Gladly again

We actually wanted to eat a knuckle. If you google this, the Stoffels restaurant appears. However, pork knuckle does not appear on the menu. The food we ordered was quite OK. However, we will not be returning. Everything didn’t blow us away

I had dinner at this restaurant during a business trip and recommended by the hotel where I stayed. The restaurant is located in the old town and I reached it in 5 minutes walk. I had a nice typical dinner with excellent local dishes and geenrosi. Recommended the wild boar in red wine sauce, the only suggestion of improvement: the menus in English and would not hurt even if the staff spoke English, but given the hospitality and the goodness of the dishes, this thing is compensated very well.

According to the website, open until 10:30 p.m. According to the menu, various dishes are only available from 5 p.m. There is no information anywhere that the kitchen closes early. Arrived at 9:45pm and was refused.

Nice ambience. Food is a bit overpriced for the quality and you can get much better in other cities. Unfortunately there isn't much choice in Wangen. Burger meat was fried very crispy, the fries were good. I was charged €10 too much, which I unfortunately saw too late. All in all, satisfied

We had breakfast and were full. Before I have breakfast here again, there are certainly other options that we would like to try. The service was great, the atmosphere was pleasant and well-kept.

Went to Stoffels and both ate onion roast. First there was a mixed salad. We also drank home-brewed light beer! The roast was super good!!! Mixed salad delicious! The beer is tasty and the waiter is extremely friendly. We would love to come back 😋

Very nice restaurant in the old town

Were there shortly before the witches' guild meeting. Therefore, friendly, attentive service at the beginning. Order brought quickly. I like to drink pale ale, had "Pauls" very tasty - hoppy, tasty. Even if it were very crowded (trains would meet in the square in front), additional service staff would be available and guests would be served quickly.

Unfortunately, the food here didn't really impress me - it was absolutely average and didn't leave a lasting impression. For the prices I would have liked more creativity or at least a special taste. What should be positively highlighted is the beautiful location and the pleasant ambience that invites you to linger. The beer was also good, which added something to the overall impression. The service, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired - there was a lack of attention and speed. Overall, unfortunately not a place I would visit again so quickly.

Overall a perfect idea for eating and drinking everything that was on the table gets 5 stars

The food was good, the restaurant is clean and comfortable. It is better to make a reservation, although I got a table without reservations but we were only 2 people.

The food was ready quickly and was very good even if not exactly cheap. Unfortunately, the service is extremely bad. A waiter who coughs all over the table should probably stay at home.

Great restaurant with very tasty food. The portions are great, the price-performance ratio is great. The staff are on point, very quick (it takes less than 3 minutes to get your drink), friendly and funny. We were lucky to get a table and if we are in Wangen again, we will eat here again.

Service was very nice and friendly. I ordered a cappuccino and a piece of cake. The cake was okay (I would say finished cake) it's a real shame. Would I come again... Yes, but perhaps I would eat dinner sooner.

Great ambience. Nicely located in the old town. Acceptable prices. Lots of parking spaces beyond the old city wall. Friendly, quick service. Large selection and changing daily specials. I felt very comfortable and it tasted good too. 😃

Ser good service and ser good food

On Friday I was invited to a 60th birthday party in Allgäu and we visited Stoffel's in Wangen. The very nice restaurant with the great vault looks very nice and is cozy. I ordered a “Viennese style” schnitzel with fries. It was nice and thin and very tender and tasty. The fries came to the plate in a small frying basket. The service staff were all very friendly and accompanied us well throughout the evening. Thank you for the lovely evening with you 😊

Very nice local. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy 👌🏼 There is a smaller lunch menu so you can also eat in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, the otherwise good breakfast only comes with mini, cheap baked rolls that crumble when cut. And that on a Saturday in Wangen, with the best local bakeries. Sad!

We were allowed to sit on the terrace. It's very comfortable to sit here. Unfortunately we have to deduct points when it comes to food. The fries weren't anything special. And unfortunately the burger bun was also dry. I had fish crispy, which was delicious. The staff was partly inattentive, but this was due to the big storm in the evening. Otherwise, a place that is easy to visit. However, we didn't think the price-performance ratio was adequate due to the deficiencies in the food (dishes were €20 each, up to €30 possible).

You can sit on the terrace with a beautiful view of the beautiful old town houses of Wangen. A great atmosphere! The food tasted excellent. The great sauce for the pork fillet is particularly worth mentioning. The waiter was friendly and the waiting time for the food was ok.

Best location and excellent beer and food. Even in rainy weather the sun rises here. Rooms are bright and with a historical flair and good acoustics, with fluffy seat fur if required. Attentive waiters, good timing from the kitchen. Recommendation for drivers: wheat alcohol-free

Sat outside, was very comfortable. Staff very friendly. When we ordered our food, the waitress pointed out to us that it could take up to 4 minutes for the food to arrive. The indoor and especially the outdoor dining areas were very well staffed. After about an hour we got our food, which compensated us for the waiting time. Unfortunately, there was one small drawback: there was a layer of peppercorns on the cheese spaetzle. That doesn't really fit...

I always enjoy coming here, the waitresses are super friendly and not too intrusive. The food is always great and you can sit outside beautifully. The small drawback is that you pay extra for ketchup and mayo and unfortunately the cheese pätzle isn't great either. Otherwise, unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right.

Sunday evening was very busy. We were made aware that it would take a good 45 minutes for the food to arrive. And so it was. The large salad was lush, the turkey strips were unfortunately just leftovers and in a lot of sweet and sour sauce. It was OK, but the house dressing also had a lot of sugar... Service was rather hectic. It's nice to sit outside under umbrellas in the middle of the beautiful city. Prices are O.K.

We were there for the old town festival. It was very crowded. The staff was still very polite. The food was good. The menu is very appealing, and of course there are also the regional classics. Gladly again.

The food is delicious, the portions are also quite good, but the service still has a lot of room for improvement!!! We were there for the second time and the service was ok on the first visit. Bill mixed up and just don't be too friendly to the guests. It can happen that a mishap happens and drinks are spilled. (My pants were almost completely wet) and other things. But unfortunately only a small message came from the team, I'm sorry... no questions asked if everything was ok... A waiter was quite unfriendly and condescending and would lie to your face. The boss came to us at the end and just saved the situation.

Nice restaurant in the central core of Wangen. Went there for breakfast and had 2 generous breakfast burgers and a smoothie, highly recommended. For dessert there was a Belgian waffle with banana and Nutella - - > excellent! Service friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit.

Always a great address in Wangen. It's usually very well attended. Diverse menu and a very nice atmosphere inside and out. Gladly again.

Despite a reservation, eight of us were seated at a table for 6 people. No accommodation even though other tables were free.

Food was good. But unfortunately unfriendly staff. I watched as a family was sent away because it seemed like it was going to rain. But there was no sign of rain anywhere. You could have told them in a friendly way and not in such a condescending way! It's a shame, but I won't go there anymore, I can't support that

Completely unfriendly employees! Every single person who works there. The food is way too expensive, you wait forever for it and even if you order something to pick up you have to wait forever until someone comes and you won't see any service for a long time anyway! We'll never go there again!

We were treated extremely badly and didn't even come to eat. We called and asked if the kitchen was open, we were told yes the kitchen was open! We get there, the kitchen is full, there is only cold food... OK, no problem, we returned to the playground with the little one after 45 minutes, the waiter says cheekily, now it's going to rain! It didn't even rain that day, ridiculous! Constantly sending us away, incorrect information on the phone, I'll never go out to eat there again, it doesn't even happen anyway because you're being sent away.

They have an afternoon menu that runs until 5:30 p.m. If you want something from the evening menu 10 minutes in advance, you have to wait until 5:30 p.m.

The location is quite nice and we sat nicely in the old town with great weather. We were surprised by the relatively high prices and the dishes didn't appeal to us very much. My baked potato with ratatouille and vegan herb quark for just under €16 was borderline. The potato was absolutely tasteless, the ratatouille was barely fried and the vegan herb quark was very runny. According to my companion, the 9 prawns for €16 were good, this was a starter. All other dishes were more or less from €20 upwards.

The food at Stoffels was very good. However, it is very annoying when I reserve a table for 8 people 4 weeks in advance and get a table for 6 on the date. Unfortunately we were not offered an alternative. So it was quite uncomfortable to eat there. SHAME!
