Service was very nice and friendly. I ordered a cappuccino and a piece of cake. The cake was okay (I would say finished cake) it's a real shame. Would I come again... Yes, but perhaps I would eat dinner sooner.

Not very hospitable... not very understanding... what is on the menu in front of the restaurant does not correspond to what you can order in the restaurant.

Great ambience. Nicely located in the old town. Acceptable prices. Lots of parking spaces beyond the old city wall. Friendly, quick service. Large selection and changing daily specials. I felt very comfortable and it tasted good too. 😃

Ser good service and ser good food

On Friday I was invited to a 60th birthday party in Allgäu and we visited Stoffel's in Wangen. The very nice restaurant with the great vault looks very nice and is cozy. I ordered a “Viennese style” schnitzel with fries. It was nice and thin and very tender and tasty. The fries came to the plate in a small frying basket. The service staff were all very friendly and accompanied us well throughout the evening. Thank you for the lovely evening with you 😊

Very nice local. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy 👌🏼 There is a smaller lunch menu so you can also eat in the afternoon.

Here I ate the best onion roast ever, great meat, very good sauce and, as a side dish, delicious homemade cheese pätzle!! Plus a nice salad. The service was extremely good and friendly!

Unfortunately, the otherwise good breakfast only comes with mini, cheap baked rolls that crumble when cut. And that on a Saturday in Wangen, with the best local bakeries. Sad!

We were allowed to sit on the terrace. It's very comfortable to sit here. Unfortunately we have to deduct points when it comes to food. The fries weren't anything special. And unfortunately the burger bun was also dry. I had fish crispy, which was delicious. The staff was partly inattentive, but this was due to the big storm in the evening. Otherwise, a place that is easy to visit. However, we didn't think the price-performance ratio was adequate due to the deficiencies in the food (dishes were €20 each, up to €30 possible).

You can sit on the terrace with a beautiful view of the beautiful old town houses of Wangen. A great atmosphere! The food tasted excellent. The great sauce for the pork fillet is particularly worth mentioning. The waiter was friendly and the waiting time for the food was ok.

Sat outside, was very comfortable. Staff very friendly. When we ordered our food, the waitress pointed out to us that it could take up to 4 minutes for the food to arrive. The indoor and especially the outdoor dining areas were very well staffed. After about an hour we got our food, which compensated us for the waiting time. Unfortunately, there was one small drawback: there was a layer of peppercorns on the cheese spaetzle. That doesn't really fit...

Best location and excellent beer and food. Even in rainy weather the sun rises here. Rooms are bright and with a historical flair and good acoustics, with fluffy seat fur if required. Attentive waiters, good timing from the kitchen. Recommendation for drivers: wheat alcohol-free

Very tasty and highly recommended. The suckling pig nuggets and the baked potato are particularly recommended. It was so delicious that the picture was taken too late... Sorry 😂

Listless, rather annoyed waiter! Quality of the food was rather mediocre and was only served after an hour! Reason: “It just takes a while”! No reference for the general level of gastronomy in the Allgäu! There are many much better addresses!

What was that supposed to be? Fish crispy... It's a shame... I really know it differently from Lake Constance... And I waited another three quarters of an hour for it. Not OK.

I always enjoy coming here, the waitresses are super friendly and not too intrusive. The food is always great and you can sit outside beautifully. The small drawback is that you pay extra for ketchup and mayo and unfortunately the cheese pätzle isn't great either. Otherwise, unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right.

Sunday evening was very busy. We were made aware that it would take a good 45 minutes for the food to arrive. And so it was. The large salad was lush, the turkey strips were unfortunately just leftovers and in a lot of sweet and sour sauce. It was OK, but the house dressing also had a lot of sugar... Service was rather hectic. It's nice to sit outside under umbrellas in the middle of the beautiful city. Prices are O.K.

We were there for the old town festival. It was very crowded. The staff was still very polite. The food was good. The menu is very appealing, and of course there are also the regional classics. Gladly again.

The food is delicious, the portions are also quite good, but the service still has a lot of room for improvement!!! We were there for the second time and the service was ok on the first visit. Bill mixed up and just don't be too friendly to the guests. It can happen that a mishap happens and drinks are spilled. (My pants were almost completely wet) and other things. But unfortunately only a small message came from the team, I'm sorry... no questions asked if everything was ok... A waiter was quite unfriendly and condescending and would lie to your face. The boss came to us at the end and just saved the situation.

Nice restaurant in the central core of Wangen. Went there for breakfast and had 2 generous breakfast burgers and a smoothie, highly recommended. For dessert there was a Belgian waffle with banana and Nutella - - > excellent! Service friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit.

Despite a reservation, eight of us were seated at a table for 6 people. No accommodation even though other tables were free.

Completely unfriendly employees! Every single person who works there. The food is way too expensive, you wait forever for it and even if you order something to pick up you have to wait forever until someone comes and you won't see any service for a long time anyway! We'll never go there again!

Food was good. But unfortunately unfriendly staff. I watched as a family was sent away because it seemed like it was going to rain. But there was no sign of rain anywhere. You could have told them in a friendly way and not in such a condescending way! It's a shame, but I won't go there anymore, I can't support that

We were treated extremely badly and didn't even come to eat. We called and asked if the kitchen was open, we were told yes the kitchen was open! We get there, the kitchen is full, there is only cold food... OK, no problem, we returned to the playground with the little one after 45 minutes, the waiter says cheekily, now it's going to rain! It didn't even rain that day, ridiculous! Constantly sending us away, incorrect information on the phone, I'll never go out to eat there again, it doesn't even happen anyway because you're being sent away.

They have an afternoon menu that runs until 5:30 p.m. If you want something from the evening menu 10 minutes in advance, you have to wait until 5:30 p.m.

The restaurant is highly recommended! We would visit Wangen again if we visit again!!!

The location is quite nice and we sat nicely in the old town with great weather. We were surprised by the relatively high prices and the dishes didn't appeal to us very much. My baked potato with ratatouille and vegan herb quark for just under €16 was borderline. The potato was absolutely tasteless, the ratatouille was barely fried and the vegan herb quark was very runny. According to my companion, the 9 prawns for €16 were good, this was a starter. All other dishes were more or less from €20 upwards.

The food at Stoffels was very good. However, it is very annoying when I reserve a table for 8 people 4 weeks in advance and get a table for 6 on the date. Unfortunately we were not offered an alternative. So it was quite uncomfortable to eat there. SHAME!

Nice ambience. We sat outside in the wonderful sunshine, drank beer and ate suckling pig nuggets. Service was perfect. Highly recommended!

We really liked it. Our service was super friendly and attentive. We were there for breakfast and our 1 1/2 year old devoured the hearty farmer's breakfast almost by himself. The cheese breakfast also had everything you could wish for. To top it off with a delicious cappuccino and our world was perfect. You can't complain about the price either. The only negative thing I can say is that it's just too far away from us.

In general, Wangen is a different world! Especially on Wednesday, where the market is, it felt like a journey back in time to a small, ideal world. The crowning finale was our lunch at Stoffel's Stadtbräu! Rarely or perhaps never before have I experienced such a friendly welcome and competent and attentive service. The food came quickly to the table and was to die for! Stoffel's and of course Wangen will see us several times a year in the future!

The start was a bit bumpy - Swiss sausage salad (cheese was just decoration). After my energetic complaint, the waiter responded excellently (it took me three approaches until I was satisfied). Cheese was added and the waiter apologized - that was very good de-escalation and great customer acquisition 👍🏻

We waited over an hour for food. Doesn't work even when full. There were also hungry children with us. The food was great, but the Allgäu tapas were too expensive, for example for the mini glass of Kässpätzle. Great beer selection and delicious.

The food is really very good, even if the portions sometimes look a bit small (e.g. schnitzel with fries) they fill you up a lot! So don't worry about that. The seating options in summer are very nice, in winter you can also sit inside, which is also beautifully designed.

Upon arrival, ask for a table for 2, and a mini table will be designated in the large room that is sufficiently empty. Delicious food on a mini table, friendliness is lacking... So via the exit to elsewhere... Didn't eat...

Staff extremely friendly and accommodating by phone and on site. The pork fillet with the cream sauce, the fried mushrooms and tomatoes with cheese spaetzle was really top and really tasty... (Tried with partner) I was actually super disappointed with my Wiener Schnitzel. (Sorry, my mother-in-law can do this better at home) The pizzazz was missing. The breadcrumbs were the only thing you could really taste during the breading, otherwise the schnitzel lacked flavor. It was tender. The highlight of the plate was the garlic mayo with the fries. :(

Delicious food with fast and good service!

Lovely atmosphere and location, their pale ale is a tad fruity and sweet though. Still, an overall satisfying experience.

We had breakfast here and were warmly welcomed and served by the staff. The breakfast tasted very tasty.

We each had a schnitzel with spaetzle and sauce. It wasn't on the menu, but it was served to us without any problem. For a “Viennese style” schnitzel, the meat was extremely good and pounded very thin. It was not only juicy but also very tasty. The spaetzle was also of very good quality and formed a close relationship with the cream sauce. The shandy was a bit too bitter for my taste, but everyone will judge that differently. The blackcurrant spritzer was very tasty. I can recommend the restaurant without hesitation. PS: The city museum opposite is also worth a visit.

Preis/Leistung ist leider massiv nach unten gegangen. 29,90€ Zwiebelrostbraten machts zum Teuersten in ganz Wangen! Leider langsam übertrieben - auch die Umstände mit berücksichtigend (MwSt, etc.)!

Gut besuchtes Lokal mit durchaus interessanter Speisekarte und einer großen Auswahl an guten Bieren.

Wir waren zum Frühstück da und ich fand es angenehm. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend gewesen und sehr viele abwechslungsreiche Speisen werden angeboten. Empfehlenswert

Muy bonito restaurante en la bella ciudad de Wangen am Allgäu, enclavado en la zona peatonal. Como es verán, nos sentamos en una mesa exterior. Ya estamos cansad del Wiener Schiztel. por lo que hora ordenamos otro de mis platillos favoritos que es el Wurstsalat o ensalada de salchicha. y las papas a la francesa ahora la cambiamos por papas dulces o Sweet Potatos. La cerveza alemana también la cambiamos por vino blanco Savignon Karl Pfaffmann. Muy bueno es servicio del personal.

Gut, aber recht lange Wartezeiten (>40 min, Samstagmittag)

Sonntag zum Mittagessen ohne Reservation: alles perfekt. Auch wenn es hektisch wird ist das Personal immer zuvorkommend. Die Menüs mit Hirsch, passend zur Saison waren sehr gut zubereitet und serviert wurden. Hier kommen wir wieder hin!

Wollten uns eigentlich nur aufwärmen, haben uns kurzentschlossen für Essen entschieden und haben es nicht bereut. Meine Frau hatte den Burger, dazu Süßkartoffel Pommes mit Knoblauchmayonnaise und ich die Kässpätzle. Sehr, sehr lecker. Service super nett und freundlich.

Stoffel‘s ist für mich persönlich das beste Restaurant in Wangen. Bedienung immer super freundlich essen top Preis Leistung sehr gut mit Sternchen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
