The food was rated 3-4 (out of 5), and arrived at the table 5 minutes after ordering. Only a limited menu was available until 4:30 pm. There are better breweries. Overall disappointing.

If you're in Wangen and want a good meal, go there! I recently had the shrimp pan 😋! I can't praise it enough. My partner wanted a second dumpling with the roast (super delicious!), but got Spätzle instead. They were also delicious, so we didn't bother complaining. It was so busy, we were lucky to get a table for two by the entrance, but it didn't matter, the food is simply fantastic (kudos to the kitchen, 5 stars!) and the staff were incredibly friendly despite the hustle and bustle! In Wangen, we only go to Stoffel's 😃 Sitting outside in the summer is lovely! There's also the waterwheel and the memorial iron sculpture of a woman with cats. When the shops are open, combine a stroll with a meal at: Stoffel's 😉

The food is of good quality, but it's missing that little something to be truly exceptional. However, that's a minor quibble. The portions are normal, and the atmosphere is great. So, from a culinary perspective, we had a relaxed and enjoyable lunch at Stoffel.

The burger was very bland, but the beer was all the better for it.

We stopped by Stoffel's today at short notice to eat. Great service, a nice and cozy location, and both the food and drinks were excellent. Unfortunately, we're not from the area, but we would eat there again in a heartbeat if we had the chance. We definitely recommend it!

An incredibly beautiful restaurant in the heart of the old town. The staff was super friendly, and what really impressed me was the meal my wife and I ate. Ordered the onion roast medium rare and finally got it medium rare. A few restaurants could learn a thing or two from that. Absolutely recommend it. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The food and service were very good, and the atmosphere outside was very pleasant.

We sat outside, so I can't comment on the interior. Yes, we had to wait a little longer for the food, but A) it was busy and B) the wait was worth it. We had vegan and non-vegan baked potatoes and three Allgäu tapas. The tapas are a really good idea! I wish every restaurant had adapted them to the local cuisine. Small portions at reasonable prices. You can try everything. I had cheese spaetzle, baked Camembert, and wild boar bites (or something similar). Super delicious. They were able to accommodate my allergy-related special requests, thank you for that. We enjoyed the food.

We were disappointed. We waited an hour for the food. We ordered drinks later, but they never arrived. Our starter was sent after the main course. The food was delicious, and the price/performance ratio (if you ignore the service) was okay. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend it with the service. It's a shame.

A very nice restaurant, but unfortunately, the basement isn't very friendly. We were there with our son, and I had to fetch the highchair myself. We weren't even asked if our son could have a second plate or if he'd have his own children's meal. Child-friendliness = 0. The food was good. It would be nice if they could cater to the customers a bit more.

We always enjoy visiting the Stoffels restaurant at the Stadtbräu. The food is absolutely outstanding, and the service is always very friendly and attentive. Great regional food with a broad menu and very good quality. Plenty of seating, so wait times may be a bit longer during the season, but the staff are friendly. Highly recommended for any visit to Wangen.

A wonderful way to round off a visit to the museum across the street. Friendly staff and delicious food.

Unfortunately, the food was nothing. The noodles were very dry. The service, however, was very friendly and attentive.

Four of us went for a white sausage breakfast. The weather was fantastically summery, and we got a lovely table outside. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant, and we'd be happy to return. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Some of the waiters weren't particularly friendly or attentive. We had to repeat our order several times. The food was okay, nothing special but not particularly bad either. However, the prices were significantly too high.

It's a shame, the service wasn't that good... I received the wrong order three times. And unfortunately, it was very expensive. My companions were otherwise satisfied with the food. Hence only 2 stars.

Everything was great, even the weather

Stopped here for dinner by chance and didn't regret it. I had the veal schnitzel, very tasty, very thin, exactly how it should be. I don't understand why anyone would complain about schnitzel??? Exactly how it should be: veal and thin. The beer was delicious, too. If I'm ever in this area again, I'll be happy to stop by again.

Half the bar was empty, and we still waited 25 minutes for a beer. Prices too high.

The Wiener Schnitzel was okay, the grilled platter was terrible. No small steaks, just stringy, gnarled, half-raw leftovers, a small sausage, two small ready-made skewers, and a cold grilled tomato. Even the offer of a scoop of ice cream or an espresso on the house didn't help. We won't have to do that again!

The burger was tasty and good, but I wouldn't order the schnitzel again; it was poorly seasoned, if not at all, and very dry. The service was good and friendly.

Both the cuisine and service were fine - but there was that certain something missing to give it the full five stars. It's difficult to name specific points - overall everything was good, but not exceptional. Nevertheless: If I'm in Wangen again, I would definitely come back. The restaurant was very busy, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. Accessibility is limited.

Excellent food at Stoffels. We had a burger with asparagus, onion roast and asparagus Gordon Bleu and everyone was thrilled. Really highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious food and finally a restaurant that breads the schnitzel itself and makes its own cream sauce and salad dressing (without powder!). The spaetzle wasn't a finished product either. You can taste this quality. Plus a nice ambience and courteous service. We'd love to come back!

Tasty and worth the price, but not cheap. Since Farny owns a wide range of good beers - the light Böckle (if available) is very tasty. Really good food, quick, friendly service, seating outside and inside.

This is the second time I have visited Stoffel's. My previous visit also fully met my expectations. The restaurant presents itself in the classic brewery style with light colors and rustic furnishings that extend to the sanitary facilities. This time we had made reservations in time for Sunday dinner - admittedly only half an hour in advance. We therefore had the pleasure of being seated at a regular table instead of the bar tables. The service was again excellent; The employees were consistently friendly and accommodating. I had previously enjoyed the delicious veal schnitzel, this time I chose the onion roast, which was cooked perfectly medium-rare. The spaetzle with plenty of butter was also excellent. This onion roast is now ranked 1-2 in my culinary experiences in the Ländle - proof of the high quality of gastronomy in Swabia. My father's steak was also perfectly cooked and excellent. The kitchen does a top job. I will visit Stoffel's again on my next stay in Wangen.

Very good restaurant. Was here in the beer garden with 2 colleagues on Friday after work. Service was very friendly. Since it was relatively full, the kitchen unfortunately prepared our food incorrectly and we had to wait an hour. We were informed straight away and as compensation we were given fresh bread and lots of garlic butter. People are not machines and something like this can happen, hence 5 stars. The burgers were also very tasty Gladly again

We actually wanted to eat a knuckle. If you google this, the Stoffels restaurant appears. However, pork knuckle does not appear on the menu. The food we ordered was quite OK. However, we will not be returning. Everything didn’t blow us away

I had dinner at this restaurant during a business trip and recommended by the hotel where I stayed. The restaurant is located in the old town and I reached it in 5 minutes walk. I had a nice typical dinner with excellent local dishes and geenrosi. Recommended the wild boar in red wine sauce, the only suggestion of improvement: the menus in English and would not hurt even if the staff spoke English, but given the hospitality and the goodness of the dishes, this thing is compensated very well.

According to the website, open until 10:30 p.m. According to the menu, various dishes are only available from 5 p.m. There is no information anywhere that the kitchen closes early. Arrived at 9:45pm and was refused.

Nice ambience. Food is a bit overpriced for the quality and you can get much better in other cities. Unfortunately there isn't much choice in Wangen. Burger meat was fried very crispy, the fries were good. I was charged €10 too much, which I unfortunately saw too late. All in all, satisfied

Went to Stoffels and both ate onion roast. First there was a mixed salad. We also drank home-brewed light beer! The roast was super good!!! Mixed salad delicious! The beer is tasty and the waiter is extremely friendly. We would love to come back 😋

Very nice restaurant in the old town

Were there shortly before the witches' guild meeting. Therefore, friendly, attentive service at the beginning. Order brought quickly. I like to drink pale ale, had "Pauls" very tasty - hoppy, tasty. Even if it were very crowded (trains would meet in the square in front), additional service staff would be available and guests would be served quickly.

Unfortunately, the food here didn't really impress me - it was absolutely average and didn't leave a lasting impression. For the prices I would have liked more creativity or at least a special taste. What should be positively highlighted is the beautiful location and the pleasant ambience that invites you to linger. The beer was also good, which added something to the overall impression. The service, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired - there was a lack of attention and speed. Overall, unfortunately not a place I would visit again so quickly.

Overall a perfect idea for eating and drinking everything that was on the table gets 5 stars

Service was very nice and friendly. I ordered a cappuccino and a piece of cake. The cake was okay (I would say finished cake) it's a real shame. Would I come again... Yes, but perhaps I would eat dinner sooner.

Not very hospitable... not very understanding... what is on the menu in front of the restaurant does not correspond to what you can order in the restaurant.

Great ambience. Nicely located in the old town. Acceptable prices. Lots of parking spaces beyond the old city wall. Friendly, quick service. Large selection and changing daily specials. I felt very comfortable and it tasted good too. 😃

Ser good service and ser good food

On Friday I was invited to a 60th birthday party in Allgäu and we visited Stoffel's in Wangen. The very nice restaurant with the great vault looks very nice and is cozy. I ordered a “Viennese style” schnitzel with fries. It was nice and thin and very tender and tasty. The fries came to the plate in a small frying basket. The service staff were all very friendly and accompanied us well throughout the evening. Thank you for the lovely evening with you 😊

Very nice local. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy 👌🏼 There is a smaller lunch menu so you can also eat in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, the otherwise good breakfast only comes with mini, cheap baked rolls that crumble when cut. And that on a Saturday in Wangen, with the best local bakeries. Sad!
