The food is good, the service is great, and the location is really beautiful! P.S.: The drinks are good too!

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because the restaurant was left after just 5 minutes... The menu can be viewed on the website. Very beneficial for people with allergies because you know in advance what you can and cannot eat. When we arrived (Easter Saturday), the food was limited to a holiday menu. Apparently these were only the high-priced dishes and included all but the vegan alternative! the allergen. The waitress tried hard and asked the kitchen whether it was possible to prepare the chosen dish from the menu on the web. Unfortunately this was not possible. Instead, an attempt was made to “modify” the dishes so that the allergen was no longer contained. However, it was then changed in such a way that it had little to do with the actual dish. When you spend €30 - €40 on a meal, you expect to get a full meal and not something like "without sauce". In general, I find it questionable to declare different dishes and prices on the Internet than in a restaurant. Then it's better not to post a menu online.

Very nice brewery restaurant with very tasty food and good service! The atmosphere is very cozy. There are very varied dishes: meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan. The menu changes depending on the season and occasion. You can always find something delicious on it! The service is also very friendly and good. We really enjoy coming here ❤️

Nice location, various beers can also be ordered as a small beer sample. Dishes on the menu are priced slightly higher. Service was nice and quick, I really liked the interior, we felt comfortable.

I have been to Hopfenglück several times and am always very satisfied. Here you get good food, delicious beer and the service is great. There's a nice atmosphere too - good all round, keep it up!

The cheese spaetzle was nothing, and the onion mixture was definitely not fresh and chewy like chewing gum. I didn't even eat half of it. It's a shame that the side salad was also omitted here – but they still charge €17.

The ambiance is really nice. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, I deducted points because I don't think the price-performance ratio is good. In my opinion, a schnitzel should definitely have some green stuff in it. But the taste was good.

Had a really tasty Braumeister Schnitzel. There was also a beer tasting with four selected beers. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The ambience is fantastic - the winter garden in particular is great. The very friendly service opened it especially for us. The food is solid and good value for money, I thought the schnitzel with bacon was a good idea. Personally, I prefer bacon in combination with potato and bird salad. I think I'll try a burger next time I visit, they looked fantastic at the table next door.

The service was very nice, the atmosphere is quite pleasant. The main courses are delicious, but points are deducted for the starter and dessert. Unfortunately we didn't really like the bruschetta because the bread was served with pureed tomatoes, which was covered with rocket salad. It would be better to have chopped tomatoes and arugula arranged on the side. Unfortunately, the Kaiserschmarrn was too dark and crispy on one side, which I didn't like. The dark applesauce and chocolate chips weren't to my liking either. A little tip to the waitress: if several people share a starter or dessert, which was mentioned when ordering, then add a few additional plates.

Unfortunately very unfriendly for dogs. Were turned away at an almost empty restaurant. Not recommended for guests with dogs.

The food (schnitzel with mushroom sauce and Schupfnudeln, small salad) was unfortunately not that tasty. The sauce was weak, but the Schupfnudeln were over-seasoned. The schnitzel tasted like a pancake had been baked in the pan beforehand. The salad dressing was hard to taste. The service was very nice. It is very nicely decorated, but too loud and restless.

Great ambience, food was rather poor considering the prices (cheese spaetzle seemed to be frozen), service was very pushy (despite full glasses every 5' asking if there was anything else) and no smile.

Unfortunately, cheese spaetzle doesn't seem to be homemade, even though it would be so easy. They were then fried in the pan and were therefore very dry. The cheese mixture had no particular flavor, although mountain cheese and Emmental should normally be included. And all for a hefty price! Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Super great atmosphere, really well done, the beer garden is also great. Service attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great, Brauhausschnitzel is a Jägerschnitzel that gets lost in sauce and mushrooms. Unfortunately, the schnitzel is not of good quality and for €21.50 I think it's cheeky to switch from fried Schupfnudel to fries for €2 extra if they offer fries anyway. Was here once today, it probably won't be enough for another time. It's a shame, but knives could also be sharpened

Nice atmosphere and very attentive service! We had the garlic bread and sweet potato fries as starters. For the main course we had the cheese spaetzle. The portions were generous and everything was very tasty.

First of all, big praise for the ambience! Warm, cozy and beautifully designed. Someone had a great hand. The beer is a matter of taste. I have to say that no beer blew me away at the tasting board either. That doesn't mean the beer doesn't taste good, but I felt there was a lack of "character" in all 4 types. The food was ok. The garlic bread for the starter was super good. The schnitzel was great with sauce, but why can't you add at least a little bit of butter to the pan?! So it tasted quite oily. The beer sauce was good and had a pleasant taste. The fried potatoes tasted slightly "gassy", as if they had come into contact with the unburned gas from the stove, and there was at least a flake of butter missing to give them even more power. The food can definitely be improved. Maybe make the schnitzel half the size and work on the finer details! 😉 All in all, the prices are “ambitious”. In this price segment I would expect more “perfection” in the dishes. Nevertheless, you can have a good meal here and of course you will be full. However, this final perfection is still missing for the 5th star! UPDATE 09/11/2024: The 5th star is given after the renewed visit... not because the food was better, but for the outstanding service... The comments from last year remain the same when visiting again. UPDATE 11/19/2024: Tonight it was world class... service, food and drinks all in the 5 star range. Apparently, reviews were taken first. Definitely 1st place for a brewery restaurant in Fulda ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

The restaurant is quite nice, but unfortunately nothing more. The food was good. We got a table in the middle of the passage. That's why there is a deduction. The Hopfenglück restaurant advertises an experience for beer lovers. But you don't even get the beer served in the right glass. Serving a Kellerbier in a wheat glass doesn't work for me. You don't get your red wine in a soda glass.

It's a big disappointment that they changed the Tim's Braumesterschnitzel; I came to this restaurant just because of this unique dish with its beer sauce and braised onions. The difference in quality was immediately noticeable :( Hopefully they'll add it back to the menu soon...

Since we didn't eat anything, I can't say anything about it. The ambience is very good, the staff very friendly. We found the prices of food and drinks to be exorbitant.

Ate at Hopfenglück last night before the musical Bonifatius. A table reservation is recommended. Modernly furnished beer garden with a clear menu. Nice service. Food was very tasty, fresh and good portions. We had the wild salmon and the Braumeisterschnitzel. The quality has its price.

I was looking for a pub where I could taste typical food and I must say that the choice was spot on. I was able to take advantage of the tables outside which offer a pleasant setting for local dishes. Prices are average.

What a disappointment. I was born in Fulda and wanted to show my American husband one of my favorite beer gardens “from back in the day” in Fulda. I didn't know that it wasn't the "old rock cellar" anymore, but whatever. We were assigned a table, the waitress brought our drinks and everything was fine. We decided to order a tarte flambée because the rest of the menu was unfortunately not that great and overpriced. My husband also ordered a second beer with his meal. The super thin, barely topped tarte flambée came, but the beer didn't. Not even after asking twice. We finished eating and asked for the bill. Our waitress told us we still had to pay for the beer we didn't get, which of course is nonsense. She then brought us the completely wrong bill and we paid over 10 euros more. Since we had paid with a credit card, she was very overwhelmed and at the end we paid for what we had eaten, a beer, a wine and a bad tarte flambée. The Felsenkeller is a beautiful memory, hop happiness never again!!

We reserved a table 1 week ago and we were given a table under the hot sun. The gentleman who was responsible for the tables wasn't interested. Although there were apparently free seats, we were taken alone into the next room. Food was ok, prices were rather high. At least the waitress was very nice.

I was in Fulda for a training course and discovered the joy of hops. The restaurant invites you to linger. Very good food prepared with a lot of love, great friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere. I was there 3 times this week and wasn't disappointed once.

Simple brewery restaurant with very good traditional cuisine. Clear menu for every taste. The XXL knuckle was crispy and tasty. Unfortunately, the veal liver with a sour aftertaste was not edible and was returned It was tender and very tasty. All in all recommended. Update April '24: New modern location with lots of light. You can have an open look into the kitchen. The waitress had to inquire 3 times when we asked. This can be done better. Food tastes good, but prices are too high
