Simply Delicious Finally ate there again, and what can I say? It was simply delicious. The food was perfect, very special, and the chef was super nice. "Excellent service and friendly staff who gave me competent advice. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!" We'll definitely be back more often.

A wonderful evening at the restaurant! The 5-course menu was outstanding – each dish prepared with great attention to detail and a true taste sensation. The ambiance is stylish and very pleasant, and the service was exceptionally warm and attentive. There were some somewhat long waits between courses, but these were politely apologized for and did not detract from the overall experience. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – highly recommended!

We had a truly lovely evening at this restaurant. The atmosphere was stylish, the ambiance pleasant, and the food tasted consistently excellent. You can immediately tell that the food here is cooked with great attention to detail. We opted for the 7-course menu because it was our 15th wedding anniversary. Each course was finely balanced and delicious. However, the first four courses were all appetizers – creative, but overall a bit monotonous. At this point, we would have preferred a soup, a salad, or something similar for a change. We also found it a shame that none of the exciting-sounding pasta or meat dishes from the menu were included. Anyone who thought about the menu sequence has probably never tried it themselves. The evening was somewhat dampened at the end: Due to a wedding party (with absolutely unruly children), the service team clearly reached its limits. While the first six courses were served at a pleasant pace, we had to wait a full 1.5 hours for dessert – as long as the entire meal. That was a real shame and somewhat dampened the positive overall impression. Conclusion: The restaurant is definitely worth a visit for its excellent cuisine and lovely ambiance. However, we can't recommend the 7-course menu – it's better to choose one or two dishes from the exciting menu.

The menu organization was difficult to understand, so I ordered the lunch menu: relatively expensive for the price for Nuremberg city center, and the portions were very small. Service was overworked. Tim's was better, but unfortunately, it was over.

I had dinner with my family at this restaurant. The service was VERY good, a really nice and friendly man attended us. But the place is ridiculously expensive. It’s advertised as “for sharing,” but the portions are tiny, almost individual-sized, for an outrageous price (3 pieces of meat for 4 people…????). Even though everything tasted very good, the price was still far too high. By 20:30, they were already out of bread and offered us potatoes instead (which seemed pre-cooked…). Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. The service was the best part, but it’s way too expensive for the small amount they give you, under the pretense of “sharing.”

A very unusual tapas restaurant. The tapas are prepared and decorated in a modern and very creative way. The three-course menu is a real experience and highly recommended (vegetarian options are also available). The entire team is very friendly. The prices are very fair for the high quality. The restrooms are also very well maintained, and feminine hygiene products have been thought of. That's very thoughtful.

The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise after our first visit. The menu is very varied and there's something for everyone (meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan). The presentation is exceptional and deserves the "fine dining" category. The dishes are extremely creative, with unusual combinations that harmonize perfectly. We chose the 3-course lunch menu, where the chef selects dishes from the menu, and were thoroughly impressed. The restaurant's concept is to offer smaller dishes/portions (tapas style), which can also be shared (optionally) in the middle of the table. We really liked that. The service was excellent and very attentive. The price of approximately €30 per person that we spent on the meal might seem high to many people. But considering the craftsmanship that was put on the plates and the quality of the ingredients, it was worth every euro. Unfortunately, we were so fascinated by the food that we didn't take any pictures. Highly recommended!

Great food taste, nice atmosphère, on a lovely square. The variety of taste and texture is huge, you a good culinary moment in this restaurant. I recommend.

The concept is quickly explained. You put something on a layer of sauce or a puree of something else. Garnish everything with nuts or something similar. In my opinion, it has little to do with classic cuisine. But of course it doesn't have to. The portions were small: bratwurst with smoked herbed char and oven-baked eggplant. The taste was nothing outstanding and I certainly couldn't figure out how the individual ingredients went together. The service was so-so. I actually wanted to go with a group. Luckily, I tried it on my own beforehand and came to the conclusion that I couldn't do anything with this cuisine. After all, you have to ask yourself what the cheap green artificial turf is doing under some of the tables and chairs in the outdoor area. Visually, it's a no-go.

The food was good, but waiting three hours for a full meal is too much. There was only one person serving and one in the kitchen for more than ten tables.

I've eaten here several times and I'm always impressed. Everything is just perfect here: the space, the food, the staff, and the location. It's hard to find such creative yet relatively affordable cuisine anywhere else! My absolute favorite restaurant in Nuremberg! Small addendum: my review refers to the previous restaurant manager, Tim; unfortunately, I can't comment on the new owner and the associated changes.

Three of us were there today. All three of us were really disappointed. My mother-in-law didn't like her meal at all, as the flavors were just thrown together. The welcome from the kitchen was well-intentioned, but a shallow, mini-bowl of spread for three people was a bit of a rip-off. Better to skip it. Our second time at Globo and unfortunately our last. The value for money is really bad; we shelled out €95 for three meaningless main courses and four small beers. A meal best forgotten quickly. :-(

The food was veeeeery disappointing. It tastes like nothing, arrives cold, the flavor combinations are very odd, the plates look weird, and it's incredibly expensive for what you get. It feels like a scam. I had a better experience at Globo a few years ago; I don't know what happened in the meantime. I'll never go back. The desserts are overpriced and look like a mountain of brownie pieces in your plate. It's not worth a visit. You can't be serious about the 4.8 rating.

We've been here several times, but the experience got worse each time. The worst of it was last Saturday. Poor service: -Table orders were repeatedly mixed up or taken incorrectly. -Champagne by the glass wasn't brought (although it was on the menu); otherwise, a separate bottle would have had to be opened. -The coffee machine was already being cleaned at 9:30 PM while the restaurant was full, so no more espresso could be ordered. -When ordering ice cream, different flavors were simply brought without consultation because the ones we ordered were out. -When paying, the incorrectly taken items still hadn't been corrected. -You had to go to the counter to pay. Poor and overpriced food: The roasted asparagus as a main course was of poor quality (4 thin green stalks and 4 thin white stalks), overcooked, and drowned in far too much salty sauce. There was no side dish. Price: €28.50 We certainly appreciate excellent food at reasonable prices, but neither the value for money nor the service here is currently up to scratch.

Food was tasty but for the price you pay the service wasn't good, people forgot things and was overwhelmed. Charging €18.50 for a small pistachio tart with a few crumbs and cotton candy on top is excessive. With the 18.50 € you get the feeling that they want to be more badass than they are.

A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience – Twice! I stumbled upon Globo Restaurant while looking for a place to eat during a weekend trip to Nuremberg. The reviews were glowing, so I decided to walk in without a booking — and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Sarah, the host, was incredibly accommodating and somehow found me a seat despite the place being packed. I was dining solo, but never once felt alone. I ordered the steak and eggplant, and everything — from the perfectly cooked steak to the incredible bread — was just fantastic. Sarah’s friendliness really stood out. She remembered my name, took time to chat even in the middle of a busy evening, and made the experience feel truly personal. I was so impressed that I immediately booked myself in for dinner the next night. When I returned the following evening, earlier than my reservation, Sarah again found me a seat — this time outside to enjoy the warmer weather. I wasn’t in the mood for alcohol, so she whipped up a special mocktail just for me — it was refreshing and delicious. During our conversation, I mentioned wanting to try white asparagus but hadn’t had the chance yet. Incredibly, Sarah and the chef went into the kitchen and put together a special meal featuring it — just for me. I believe it was a preview of their upcoming menu, and I felt incredibly lucky to try it. This level of care and attentiveness is rare. The food was outstanding, but it was the warmth, hospitality, and personal touches that made Globo a highlight of my trip. I can’t recommend it enough — and I’ll definitely be returning when I’m next in Nuremberg.

A decidedly disappointing visit for dinner. The table wobbled - was adjusted and still wobbled the whole evening. The starters look delicious but offer no taste experience. The main course was barely edible. The sauce on the lamb caree consisted of PUR port wine. The polenta was too salty. We skipped dessert due to this disappointing experience. The two of us had 4 glasses of wine for €30...the cheapest bottle of wine would have cost €54 (????). It's a shame - €135.- No taste experience and left hungry. Absolutely not recommended.

There were three of us and we had this sharing meal, which meant a colorful selection of starters and desserts from the kitchen, including a desert. The quality and freshness of the food was great. However, it has to be said that all the vegetarian dishes were actually very good, although the starters and main courses with meat and fish were sometimes very unsatisfactory: The beef tartare was very salty and over-seasoned, sometimes with whole anchovies in it, so it was pretty salty, and it was also floating on an oil sauce, which I'm actually not familiar with. Chicken balls were very good, Beef steak with green asparagus also good. Unfortunately, the suckling pig was a total failure: Extremely long-fibered, dry and tasteless meat without a crust (definitely part of a suckling pig, actually the highlight), with fried bacon on top No creamy dark sauce, but a light, very vinegary sauce that unfortunately didn't go well with it. The topic of “vinegar” was a problem anyway: A good interplay of acidity, sweetness and spiciness is actually great, also with lemon or lime juice or zest. Here, however, many things were only attempted to be achieved with the blatant use of vinegar. Particularly bad with salmon: It was hidden under a mountain of rhubarb, actually a cool creation, I like the acidity of rhubarb, it's something different. Unfortunately, the rhubarb was boiled or blanched in what felt like 3 liters of vinegar, which absolutely destroyed the taste of the rhubarb and also meant that the salmon no longer had any flavor. The salmon was also a bit dry and tasteless (but that's what the vinegar was for) To top it off in a creative way, the chef also has the grilled ones Tomatoes marinated in vinegar. Taste of the dish: Just vinegar, vinegar, vinegar. I just don't understand the point of it, is it supposed to be creative? Desert was good, but very small and just a mango cream with a few berries. I would have expected a little more given the prices. All in all, not bad, but due to the minus points for meat or fish or the total "vinegar club" and the high prices, I simply expect more cooking skills. I don't have to go there again.

We were very disappointed. I had the corn-fed chicken, my friend had the lamb chops. My meal was okay, although the savoy cabbage was drowned in sauce and overall it was heavily seasoned/a bit spicy. My friend's mushrooms were raw, the risotto was lukewarm and the lamb chops were neither soft nor cooked through. He could barely eat it. We were not offered an alternative solution and had to pay the price in full. Never again.

Food and service is good, but far too little for the price. We think the starters are very good, the main courses are okay and the desserts need improvement. I've been to Globo 4 times and wouldn't go here again. We paid 120 per person and half of them weren't full. There are other high-quality restaurants in Nuremberg. What we liked best: fries, cauliflower and salmon. What tasted least good: dessert, ice cream, gnochi, hummus

Very tasty food, super nice staff

There were three of us and we found the prices far too high for what you get: small plate sizes, not convincing in terms of taste, even rather shocking. Rock-hard chocolate brownie for dessert and doughy gnocchi in tomato sauce for €25. The staff was very friendly and attentive, but we still wouldn't eat there again. What particularly bothered me right from the start was the fact that the menu on site differed immensely from the menu on the website. Unfortunately it was a letdown for us.

We stumbled in from the Christkindlmarkt looking for something substantial to eat and my God did we find it. I am not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve ever had in my life (and I pride myself on being a foodie). I had the ravioli with truffle cream, salmon filet, fresh truffles and radicchio. Everything was paired perfectly. The flavors were in absolute harmony. Each part of the dish was extremely well executed. I also want to give praise to our server who was kind enough to let us in a bit before opening and have drinks. Even the bread, which came with pumpkin and paprika was done in such a way that I will never forget it. I’m including a bad photo of my half eaten meal because I didn’t get a picture when it was first played and beautiful, but the colors on the plate were stunning as well. This was a full sensory experience. I genuinely mean it. Incredible food. Wonderful service. Great atmosphere. Don’t skip this place.

Incredibly expensive dishes for what you're served. Would expect Michelin star level of food what we paid for slightly above average quality dishes. Not worth the money in my opinion. Doubt I'd go back. Plenty other options available in Nuremberg which are much higher quality and not so steeply priced. Its a no from me.

We were at Globo yesterday and apparently, we just found out, the tenant has changed. Unfortunately, it's not nearly as good as it once was. The prices are high and unfortunately you get some loveless, not good food in return. :( Unfortunately we won't be coming anymore. RIP old Globo

The food has always been very good so far. The waitresses are always very attentive. I especially like the plant-rich furnishings of this restaurant, which gives the dining room a very nice flair. Likewise outdoors. Unfortunately, prices have risen quite a bit since my last visit two years ago.

World class place to eat! Five of us had the share menu, the table was twice full of delicious food! The menu is based on current availability, which makes it particularly appealing to me. No, there is always just that... The waiter and waitress are friendly and have some quick sayings on their lips 👍💪

We took the course menu, where everything just comes to the table in the middle and there was a lot of it (there were several small starters and several main courses, but everyone could try everything) and super tasty! I can only recommend it, there was also a lot of vegetarian food but also pork, beef, chicken and salmon, we'll definitely go there again.

Hier darf nicht das Globo, wie man es kannte, erwartet werden. Neue Pächter, spannende Karte, schlechtes Essen, überteuerte Preise sprich kein Preis Leistungsverhältnis, super Service. Es war sehr leider sehr enttäuschend zumal hier auch der Anschein vermittelt wird, es seien noch die alten Pächter. Leider gab es nirgends eine Info darüber. Daher empfinde ich es schon fast als Betrug am Gast.

Eigentlich ein ansprechendes Konzept von hochwertiger Küche mit regionalen Lieferanten. Aber leider fehlen einige Basics für Restaurants in dieser Preisklasse. Wir saßen im Außenbereich. Das Besteck wird auf Tisch gelegt der zuvor mit einem nassen Lappen abgewischt wurde. Da wünscht man sich eine Unterlage als Tischset oder Tischdecke oder wenigstens die Serviette. Das Personal war leicht überfordert und die Wartezeit war dementsprechend lang. Beim Roastbeef wurde nicht gefragt welche Garstufe man möchte. Das Fleisch war allerdings von sehr guter Qualität! Beim Salat wurde Zucker im Dressing im Übermaß verwendet. Auch bei den Soßen wurde damit nicht gespart. Schade - weniger wäre mehr gewesen. Die Getränke waren sehr gut - auch die Weinempfehlung. Die Tische im Außenbereich hatten leider keine Abtrennung zur Straße. Man saß mitten drin. Ein Tisch war direkt auf einem Abluftschacht platziert. Das geht gar nicht! Insgesamt ein sehr gemischtes Bild Es wäre akzeptabel gewesen bei halbem Preis, aber so ist es einfach eine Preisklasse über der Leistung.
