Landgasthof Hotel Gentner in Nürnberg

Sehr schöne Zimmer, zuvorkommendes Personal und eine gute Küche. Leider wurde für die kurzfristige Buchung eines Schulungsraumes (sehr schön übrigens) für zwei Personen ein heftiger Preis aufgerufen. Gut, es war Kaffee und Wasser dabei... . Ein Entgegenkommen gab es leider nicht.

Ich kann diesen Ort nicht beschreiben,da ich nicht in den Genuss kam ein Zimmer zu buchen.Ich schrieb der Hausherrin persönlich und erwähnte,daß das Appartment auf booking.com günstiger wäre als ihr angebotenes.Ich hatte allerdings die falsche Personenzahl eingegeben.Den Fehler bemerkte ich gleich und schreib wir nehmen das Appartment direkt und dann war es innerhalb 2 Stunden angeblich anderweitig vermietet.Ich fragte nochmal nach,ob es keine andre Möglichkeit gäbe in Ihrem Haus,keine Antwort.Ich bat nochmal um eine Antwort und wurde wieder ignoriert.. so geht man nicht mit interessierten Gästen um.Wenn es nicht paßt,daß auch eine Buchung über booking.com möglich ist,warum sperren Sie das dann nicht? Freches und unverschämten Verhalten.Zum Glück müssen wir da nicht hin und haben eine wunderschöne andre Unterkunft bekommen.Ihren Gasthof mußten sie ja scheinbar schon schließen,wird dann mit dem Hotel auch irgendwann passieren.

Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht im Hotel. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet, sehr sauber und ruhig, kein Straßenverkehr. Das Restaurant war spitzenmäßig, eine super freundliche Atmosphäre, sehr leckeres Essen. Das gleiche gilt auch für das Frühstück. Einfach nur super 👍

Durchweg positiv, vom Empfang über das heimelige Zimmer bis zum Top Restaurant. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur empfehlen. Ich habe es für 1 Nacht (Businesstrip) gebucht, durch die tolle Lage an der A6 ist dies hierfür ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt.

Alles war super, vom freundlichen Service bis zu den schönen Zimmern. Parkplätze gibt es nur über eine etwas schwierigere Zufahrt, falls man mit einem größeren Auto unterwegs ist. Das Frühstücksangebot war hervorragend, und man hat mir sogar gerne glutenfreies Brot gegeben. Schade nur, dass die Rühreier etwas zu trocken waren.

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und gepflegt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück: sehr hochwertig, mit tollen Produkten, teilweise auch in Bio-Qualität. Insgesamt ein super Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert!

Bin durch Zufall auf das Hotel gekommen. Komme aber gerne wieder. Es liegt verkehrsgünstig in der Nähe der Autobahn. Liegt ruhig in einem Wohngebiet und verfügt über ein nettes Restaurant das mir Abends ein lecker Menü anbieten konnte. Das EZ war ausreichd groß und das Bett sehr angenehm. Werde gerne wieder kommen.

A very warm and family atmosphere

This was my first and last time. For these exorbitant prices, I expected much more. The rooms are small, and there isn't even a minibar at these prices. The TVs are so heavily restricted that you can't even use a Fire TV Stick or anything similar, as all the HDMI ports are blocked. I've never experienced this in any other hotel. It's currently 8:30 pm, and for over an hour, someone has apparently been banging on the wall; there's an enormous amount of noise that makes any relaxation impossible. If we were talking about a €50 B&B, it might be acceptable, but for €300+ per night, it's outrageous. At least it's clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is great. The rooms aren't particularly large, but they're very clean and have everything you need. There's a small refrigerator, but no kettle or coffee maker.

This is my third time here, and I always enjoy coming back. It's far removed from the hustle and bustle of Nuremberg and the mass-market atmosphere. The ambiance is wonderful, the people are friendly (I deliberately don't say staff!), the breakfast is superb, and the food in the restaurant is fantastic. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. A very good and extensive breakfast buffet. The price, especially during trade fairs, is completely excessive—therefore not recommended.

The room was very clean and nicely furnished – high praise here. The breakfast was also delicious, although the service was a bit inattentive (no one was there to order scrambled eggs, for example). What was a shame, however, was that I didn't feel warmly welcomed upon check-in. I mentioned that I had been in a car accident on the way there and that my business card was in the damaged car, as I was now arriving in a rental car. The employee reacted completely coldly, without any sympathy. Furthermore, I received no information about breakfast times or the breakfast room, which I didn't notice until the next morning. The room was easy to find, though. Overall, a nice stay with minor but notable weaknesses in the service.

Modern check-in for late arrivals, a well-stocked drinks machine with a somewhat complicated card payment process, a clean and practical room. A pleasant atmosphere in the hotel, ample parking on-site, running trails in the nearby forest, and a delicious breakfast. All good.

Friendly welcome, very good rooms, plenty of free parking spaces which are very suitable for today's cars, the wellness area is good, the food is also good, but the waiter kept telling the tables next to us and me that I didn't need to order and it would take a long time as it was so busy, the kitchen had everything under control and it went very quickly!

We stopped by for dinner on a whim while passing through. The friendly service and delicious food made our journey home much more enjoyable. Thank you so much!

Everything is ok, breakfast is great, my only comment is the bathroom is too small especially when taking shower. The price is expensive already but the bathroom is way too small.

I was traveling for business and stumbled upon this wonderful country inn quite by chance – and what a stroke of luck it was! The location is ideal: quiet, yet easily accessible, perfect for business travelers like me. The rooms absolutely won me over – they are very clean, comfortably furnished, and you immediately feel at home. You can tell that great importance is placed on quality and well-being. The restaurant was a real highlight! The food was excellent – ​​freshly prepared, lovingly presented, and delicious. The breakfast the next morning also left nothing to be desired: plentiful, varied, and of the highest quality. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We had a wonderful stay from start to finish, and the staff was always very friendly and accommodating! The Wi-Fi works very well, and the overall technology is very modern.

We stayed here as part of a choir trip to the choir festival and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There was nothing to complain about in the rooms—at least, I didn't find a speck of dust. The surrounding area is also great, with a Rewe supermarket within walking distance and a bus that stops in front of the hotel that takes you directly to the subway or S-Bahn. I would definitely come back if I'm in Nuremberg.

I'd like to give it 5 stars, but with more than 100 overnight stays a year, I know good and not-so-good hotels. What I don't like is that for €140, I get a room the size of my bathroom, small and puny; I'm used to better. At 2 meters tall, using the toilet is a challenge, but I guess it's like shirts: XXL isn't always XXL. A house like this, with that price, and not even a Nespresso in the room. Furthermore, the street noise from my room, which faces the street, is more than annoying. If you don't want to suffocate in this room, you have to open the window. Why a garbage truck comes at midnight—I don't know—is beyond me, and the friendly neighbor who drives to work at 5 a.m. at full speed is a complete disaster. Air conditioning, yes, great, I can catch a cold, but I can't stand it. All in all, in my opinion, it's too expensive for the service offered, which is a shame. My room was clean. The reception and service were perfect, but I still wouldn't stay here again. Because 11/3 = 3.6, I'm giving it 4 stars.

Great, modern and stylishly furnished hotel with a fitness room and super nice rooms. Free parking spaces directly in front of the house. Always friendly and accommodating hosts of the house. Check-in also possible after 10 p.m. I like coming here.

Franconian oasis of well-being!

On my way to the south I was looking for a good hotel in a quiet location near the motorway and found the Hotel Gentner. The modern architecture with a regional atmosphere appealed to me. Even in the evening at 9:00 p.m. we were able to enjoy a good meal with very friendly service. The early breakfast was extremely good and plentiful (buffet). I can fully recommend the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the Landgasthof Hotel Gentner! The room was extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated, with lots of stylish attention to detail. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was an absolute highlight - there was a huge selection of fresh rolls, cheese, sausage and even fresh egg dishes! I particularly liked the friendly and attentive service, which made you feel welcome. The hotel has a unique charm and I will definitely come back. Top families felt like you were at home.

A lovely small hotel located in a quiet neighborhood just a short drive to Neremberg Messe and downtown. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was amazing and the breakfast wonderful! The restaurant in the hotel was also exceptional. All in all, yes!

Great hotel outside the city, close to the highway. The price per night is a bit high, but you pay for luxury. It's a pity that the hotel restaurant is closed on Sunday.

We were guests in the house for 3 days during the toy fair. It was great service, friendly staff and great breakfast. Beds comfortable and shower great. The only drawback in room 105 is that there is no closet. Just a drawer. OK for 2 nights, but a week without a closet is impractical

Been lucky to stay at the Gentner family hotel several times. Really good restaurent also. clearly my favorite hotel in the region.

We were on our way and stopped for one night. The reception staff was exceptionally nice, the hotel is nice in true German style with beautiful cows paintings 😁 The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful in a beautiful space. Great solution for a mini bar in the hallway.

I was registered with the company for the conference followed by dinner (Christmas party). I was already looking forward to the Christmas menu, which was suggested to us long in advance by the Landgasthof Gentner: 2 x vegetarian starters, as a main course: 1 x vegetarian, 1 x duck and 1 x rump steak and 1 x dessert. On the day itself, we were quickly informed that the announced winter spaetzle with Camembert, colorful pan-fried vegetables, chestnuts and caramelized walnuts was not available as a vegetarian option as the main course. Instead there was Schupfnudel with Brussels sprouts, mountain cheese herb cream and nuts. The rump steak was quickly eliminated as a meat option, so that only half farm duck was available as the second option as the main course. We weren't even informed about the change in the starter; Instead of essence of porcini mushroom with pistachio dumplings or cream soup of parsnip with vegetable straw and parsley oil, everyone was served a salad without asking: lamb's lettuce with caramelized walnuts, grapes and bacon. Since I didn't know what was in the salad, I wanted to know if the starter was vegetarian. The answer I received was a curt no, and the plate was taken away from my hand again. A few minutes later I got the salad without bacon. My question about the dessert as to whether it was vegetarian (no one here knew what we were getting) was answered with a curt "Of course, then what's not vegetarian about it?" It would have been nice if someone had informed us in detail why there was a different meal. Even serious questions should be answered more professionally. I couldn't understand the price of the menu at just over 50 euros. I was disappointed and wouldn't go back again.

The hotel is about 15-20 minutes from the center, there are parking spaces at the hotel. I was greeted very warmly. It is very nicely and comfortably furnished, so that you immediately feel at home.

Comfortable, very clean rooms, the heating in the bathroom can be individually regulated (a top asset in winter), super friendly, personal service, fine restaurant, breakfast buffet with FRESH offerings. The only small drawback: the hairdryer in the bathroom overheats quickly. Thank you, really a special place, the Gentner.

While traveling through, I enjoyed my stay in this fine, family-run hotel. My superior room was new, tastefully decorated and very quiet. We ate very well in the hotel restaurant in the evening and had an extensive breakfast buffet in the morning. All employees are very friendly. Very good hosts. Keep it up!

I enjoyed my stay at Landgasthof Hotel Gentner in Nuremberg. The staff was highly professional and friendly, and they helped me with all my requests without any hesitation. The hotel's location, far from the city center, added to its charm. The room was nice and clean, with a modern color scheme and ambiance and a nice balcony. I specifically enjoyed their wellness room, with several saunas and a relaxation lounge. A restaurant with tasty local food made the whole experience even more pleasant.

Clean and really nice and comfortable rooms. Very kind and helpful staff. It is a 10 minute drive from the center and the trade fair centre, and the bus stop is also convenient.
